Sheraton San Diego Hotel, Mission Valley - سان دييجو

Small bathroom but great bedding and TV stations. Good hotel however didn't like the fact that there were no vending machines on the floor; requiring you to go to the lobby for a bottle of water.

Truly blown away with the great service and beautifully remodeled room I had with the incredible low price I paid. I visit San Diego often to see my gorgeous girlfriend and decided to give the Sheraton a try and I think I have found my new favorite hotel to stay at. Thank you very much

I loved it. This will always be my first.choice.

Room was great, nice furnishings. The only downside was the location and finding it.

Overall nice. Hotel staff were extremely nice but seemed inexperienced. Hotel Bistro served good food. Free wi-fi in hotel lobby was nice. Happy Hour reception in the lobby was modest but nice. Nice pillows and comforter. Only concerns were (1) bathroom light was broken, I asked for help from the front desk who called maintenance right away, maintenance came to look at the problem but never came back to fix it - light stayed broken my entire stay; (2) I had to keep jiggling the toilet handle/popped open the tank lid to stop it from running all night; (3) housekeeping never replaced room amenities consistently - some days there was no soap, other days towels were missing, tea bags were replaced occasionally; $5 coupon was slipped under my door in the middle of the night which scared me because when I first heard the noise, I thought someone was trying to break into my room.

The only complaint is that it sits next to the freeway, makes it a little noisier

The hotel staff is efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Was greeted at check-in and offered a nice salad and cookies. If you have a car the location is great , if walking lots of traffic and have to cross a freeway with a sidewalk on only one side of the bridge restruants and malls on the other side of freeway. Nice hotel would definitely stay there again.

Quick registration, helpful staff, speedy room service breakfast. Convenient to my daughter's school and downtown. I'll stay again.

I really enjoyed the comforts of the Sheraton Mission Valley. I am actually going to stay at this location in March. 5 stars for me.

Hotel was awesome. Recently remodeled and clean. Staff was extremely attentive and courteous. I'll be staying there again next time a visit the San Diego Zoo :)

The location of this hotel is great. The mall is across the highway and there are many restaurants to choose from. Although the place is clean and comfortable, they seem to have a problem with the septic tank and at times there is a not so pleasant smell that takes over in the lobby and elevators. Otherwise I recommend this location.

Not a bad hotel overall...however only one elevator was working so it took forever to catch one. Not to mention i had to go back to the lobby several times because my first room, the lights didn't work and then the second rtoom the key didn't work. 3rd time was a charm, but since there was only one elevator, it took an additional 1/2 hour to get all of this taken care of. Staff was very friendly and quick to help. Rooms were clean.

Beautifully renovated rooms and quiet on the hillside side of bldg. Enjoyed the wine tasting one of the evenings. Recommend for pleasure or business as much less expensive than the downtown conference hotel when on my own dime. I recently moved from San Diego so I know the hotels etc. This is very convenient for downtown and Mission Bayand Fashion Valley shopping.

Room was renovated and very good. Front office staff were awesome. Room service and food was great. Overall I had a good stay.

it was a nice hotel but the elavator service was terrible. we had to wait about 10 minutes before we were able to enter the elevator to go to and from our room.

The only things I would have bad to say are that the pillows sucked and left me with neck pains, even three days later my neck still hurts. And the water pressure in the showers was really low. Other than those two things the staff was nice and bed was comfy minus sucky pillows.

Both elevators out of service, no towels or ice bucket in room.

Shower sets off the smoke alarm and the front desk could care less. Checked out early because that irritated me and they hit me with a fake $200 smoking In the room charge. my word against theirs but never smoked in my life. Never staying at a Sheraton again.

Overall was good. But it's a bit noisy if stay in a room facing high way. Have to pay parking fee for hotel guests.

The heater in my room broke and it was warmer in the hallway. Only one elevator was operating and the hot water was lukewarm. Service was generally good but the maintenance issues would keep me from choosing Sheraton again

Noise from RENOVATION was a huge problem. Smell of paint in the lounge while eating breakfast was a huge problem. Breakfast fruit was not ripe..., it was very hard and the pastries were stale. Bedroom was very SMALL for 2 queen beds. POOR job by Housekeeping, even when a tip was left on a daily basis for 5 days. Ran out of toilet paper and because of the poor experience thus far and the cheap single sheets of toilet paper...., I just went out of bought 2 ply toilet paper! Two nice points; staff was very nice and the beds were very comfortable.

Took a room that had been recently renovated....apparently everything but the tub. Thought the tub wasn't clean, but instead it was so worn that it was stained black.

This was a strange stay. I was in san diego for 3 days on business. The hotel looked great. Well maintained. Staff was friendly but little things were just off. When I got to my room I didn't have a luggage rack and called 3 times before the nice guy behind the front desk brought me one. I waited on housekeeping for an hour. Then I didn't have the "book" with all the hotel amenities and services. I eventually got a xeroxed copy of one. It was a visit full with small annoyances: could smell cigarette smoke on occasion, dog barking at midnight across the hall.

Overall good.. However, no towels left for last day..when told the reception desk said.."will make a note of it to hotel services" which sounded like it was no big deal to him but certainly was to us. When you wake up expecting to take a shower and check out to make transportation coneections, it is a big deal!

Overall the stay was quite pleasant. They provided excellent service from beginning to end. If I had to critique one thing, it would be that the elevators take long. If you are in a hurry, make sure to leave your room 5 to 10 mins early to wait for an elevator. Other than that, all went great.

It was a pleasant stay. No real frills, but a good value.

We checked into the hotel around 4 in the afternoon after a day at the zoo. As we got into the room, the air conditioning was not working and had 4 black outs, before we finally checked out and drove back home. Room was like a suana. Got refund for room, however we had to pay for our mediocre room service. I would rather have stayed at a motel 6.

I was unimpressed with the check-in experience. The lack of efficiency made for a bit of a long wait. The room service made up for it in speed and quality. Otherwise the hotel atmosphere was very nice and clean. The walls are a little thin but this was definately one of the better hotel experiences i have had.

The hotel was a great location for access to downtown and mission beach. It was just a little older and our room was not serviced, also parking is a separate fee.

First they made us wait till 6pm to check into our room. The room was dirty. Lots of freeway noise. The ice machines were broken. Room service took 2 hours to bring us some ice.

For the cost of the room it should have been better . They charged for parking and we parked in the dealership on the side of hotel you would think that you would have had secure parking for 14 bucks a day. The pool was horrible and needed a good referbishing. Mold all over and way to much chlorine. Noise was bad doors slamming all night. People talking in the hallway. Not very good sound bqqarriers. It is an old hotel. Wouldn't stay there again.

We stayed during Comic-Con - a crazy time for hotels in San Diego. While there were minor problems (a broken switch on a lamp), the staff was quick to respond and very friendly. My favorite thing about the Sheraton is their beds... what a great night's sleep! Everyone in our group (6 people in 3 rooms) agrees we would book there again next year.

Elevator was a mess. Didn't work much of the time. Because of a wedding party staying there, parking was awful, and they all definitely thought "it was all about them". Staff were nice but could only do so much. I wouldn't recommend it. I've definitely staryed at better Sheratons. This one needs work.

My only complaints were that there was only 1 small trash can in the bathroom, no fridge, and no safe for money/wallets when we went to beach so we had to take along. Oh and they only would give us 3 sets of towels and we had to call everytime for a 4th set.....

We stayed on the 11th floor. Almost fell in the hall because the carpet is buckling. Was very careful in the hall after that. Room was large, like that and bed was comfortable. Everyone was nice. But please do fix the hall carpet before someone does get hurt. Thanks for asking.

We stayed 4 nights in the hotel. The elevators were broken for 3 of them. They charged for parking, but the lot was open for 3 of the 4 nights ( so anyone could drive in and out). We were also disappointed that the dirty towles we left on the ground were still there, in a pile, when we returned from a day out to get dressed for a night out. The hotel looks a little worse for wear. I think I would have been okay with the condition of the hotel and all the little extra charges -- parking, internet if it had been a discount brand hotel. Not worth the money or the name.
