Red Lion Hotel at the Quay - فانكوفر

This hotel was way over priced and nothing like the pictures shown. Out in the hall way was a rat and the room was cold heater didn't work. I will never stay there again.

We loved the hotel--appearance, location, cleanliness, etc. We especially loved the front desk personnel as they were so nice--even if I forgot a shower cap, toothpaste, or even where my room was, they didn't make me feel scatter-brained!

I have stayed in many Red Lion hotels and generally really enjoy them. This one was clean, friendly, and overall "O.K." but the room was VERY small. Barely room to walk around the beds. It did have a walk out sliding glass door though which made it convenient to take the dog out. Too bad there was barely room for a dog crate in the room.

The hotel is nice and priced just right. Like the fact it had a microwave and refridge in room. Grounds nice and neatly landscaped when looking out window. Requested Handicap room and it was conveniently located to the group setting I needed to attend. Enjoye the stay and would return again when in area. Saw that shopping was close by.

I showed up in Washington to meet a very special girl. I booked this hotel for us to stay in while I was there. The restaraunt and bar were spectacular, except for early closing times. House keeping was good, and they constantly stopped by to make sure the room was to my liking. Great place on the inside, though it may look slightly old on the outside.

Recently stayed in Aug 21-23, 2011 - the building is old but quite clean, however the air conditioner rattles all night, it comes and goes which was very distracting and I hardly get miuch sleep. I notified them to fix it but nothing changed. I think the attitude is that, "That's an old air cond, what do you expect from it?" Luckily for the three night I was there, the weather was not that hot, so I sleep without blankets or sheets. I would expect them to at least take my complain seriously or switch me to a room that the air cond is working properly. I guess if you have prepaid as I did with online booking, they know you are on the hook.

This hotel needs renovating. My room was dark, humid and hot. When I first arrived two light bulbs were burned and the bathroom sink was clogged. It was fixed immediately but it did not make the room better. The room was very dark and it smelled of humidity. I stayed for 3 nights. On the first day, my trash did not get picked up and the room was not vacuumed at all during my stay. To make our stay worse, the air conditioning hardly cooled the room.

good hotel and a great location in vancouver old city. also convienent to portland as we had people to see in both cities. hot water went cold and hot alot in the shower. everything else very nice.

We spent the 4th of July holiday here and had a lovely room with a fantastic view of the Columbia River. We could watch the barges ply the river and had a steam train cross the railroad bridge in front of our window. Have stayed here before and it is close to the small airport that we fly in and out of. One can walk the pathway along the river to various restaurants and it is within walking distance of downtown Vancouver. Only drawback has been the airport shuttle which doesn't start until 7am and we need to be at Portland International by 5:30am. Have had to take a cab twice now. Breakfast buffet is substandard and not worth the $7 plus. Buy off the menu. Front desk staff are pleasant and helpful. We will stay again.

The hotel is nice but the employees do not listen well and the rooms are small

No hand-held shower heads after they told me that the rooms had them. The one and only elevator was broken for four days - I was on the second floor and made eight trips down with my dog. The carpet was soiled and not clean; the bathroom door was scratched and the bedspread was stained on the reverse side. When asked about a discount for my AAA Card, they said NO. You get more exercise at this hotel walking the stairs and going to the bars and restaurant!

Centrally located, great running paths, restuarants, and walking distance to downtown. Room was small, but would stay again

On my drive up to Seattle I stayed at this hotel in Vancouver, Washington. Loved the location and found it a real thrill to look out the window in the hotel's restaurant and see a harbor seal leaping in the river on his way up to the fish ladder at the Bonneville Dam. The negative for me at the hotel was the absence of a doorman and the non-automatic doors. I am disabled and it was quite a struggle for me to open the doors and enter with my baggage. Saw several staff members watching my entry with interest, but no one came to hold the door for me. Room was adequate although probably ready for a facelift soon. Grounds were lovely and so were the woodcarvings throughout the hotel. Location on the mighty Columbia River couldn't be beat.

walls are paper thin - staff are not extremely responsive but location is great.

Great hotel with pillow-top beds. But the sheets were not big enough for the mattress. Not a good night sleep always fighting the sheets. Also had room service knocking on our door early delivering breakfast to the wrong room. Following morning, housekeeping knocking to see if we were checked out yet. A short knock then opening the door. This was at 9:00 am and we were getting dressed. Not very good customer service Red Lion.

My reservation was for a poolside room and I ended up in a room next to train tracks. I was there for business and could not get a good nights sleep with the train coming through at 2AM every morning.

The staff were nice and friendly. The room was clean and elegant looking, but it was very small. The bathroom was microscopic. You had to scoot to one side in order to close the door behind you. It reminded me of an airplane toilet. It had a pretty good location with a few restaurants within walking distance.

I have stayed at this hotel several times without incident and generally have found it to be adequate. The restaurant and bar are good and the hotel is generally clean but a little outdated. My last experience found me checking out at 2 a.m. due to unruly guests both in the hallways and outside on the patio. Management was notified and chose to do little to nothing about the grossly inappropriate behavior. My complaint/concern was met with the classic "oh well". I won't go again.

Our waitress "Steph" was quite rude right from the start which put a bad taste in my mouth for the remainder of our stay. I asked for the manager as I was going to request a new waitstaff however, they never bothered to show. The hotel is run down and not worth the price I paid, I wouldn't suggest this hotel to anyone looking for a warm experience.

We liked the new pillowtop mattresses. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The walk and river trail were a nice feature near the hotel.

This hotel is the nicest available near a work site I visit. The immediate neighborhood is sketchy and there is not much around, but it's a clean, safe bed in a pleasant-enough hotel.

the rooms are fine with great beds and linens. finding the location wasn't difficult but cryptic without any additional signs to lead you there. Pool was too small and no hot tub.
