Reception was reasonable but I had asked for a sea view and got a room on the side with a view but not across the bay. The extremely hard mattress had a plastic cover which was despite 2 sheets on top unpleasant. The breakfast was adequate, poor juice and breads. The public rooms were slightly shabby and tired. We stayed for four nights and had a top floor room overlooking the castle and bay it was perfect with great views and easy access to all we wanted to do in Naples.

This was a surprise B'day treat for my husband and a random choice that I picked. It was super in every way, from reception staff, bar staff, restaurant staff etc. The location was spot on, overlooking the Bay of Naples. On arriving we were given a choice of rooms to look at ..one was on 5th floor new block and 2nd one was on 1st floor original block. We choose 2nd room for a) the view was over the bay of naples and b) the balcony was large and contained patio table an chairs wheras the balcony in the new block was too small to have a patio table and chairs. Even though the week of the first march the hotel was very quite in fact on our last night we were the only people in the restaurant at 9.00pm still the waiting staff were so attentive and friendly. When we did eat out we were spoilt for choice of eateries and we enjoyed the 2 local places we dined in which was situated on the right side of the hotel. The only negative comment (not aout the hotel) but Naples itself and we did a lot of walking whilst we were there, that was the streets of Naples generally were dirty, loads of rubbish piled up on the pavements every day etc., which surprised us. Overall a great break, fablous hotel and service we couldn,t have asked for anything more.

Hotel stuff are super nice, helpful, friendly! They made our trip very memorable, pleasant, and amazing! Hotel location is very nice in front of historic view and wonderful view of Napoli bay. Room are clean, and spacious. We would love to stay this hotel again and again and again!

I stayed in Junior Suite facing the ocean. The view was just beautiful and the room was really spacious. Although the facility is not quite new, it was well maintained and clean. Pool was smaller than I expected but ok for a quick refreshing. Restaurant nearby are all very good and I did not have to drive to restaurants by car. Everything was better than my prior expectation. Would definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Naples again.

Spent three nights and would recommend this hotel for a stay in Naples. Location is by the coast with a great sea view, close by there are some nice restuarants. The roof top pool is small with a lovely view. Breakfast is fine with good selection. No complaints and very good service. Probably in the best location for a stay in Naples, Naples city centre is not the nicest place, but there is much to see so use public transport to get around the area, a bus outside the hotel will take you around the place, go to the circumvesuvian train station for trips to Pompei, Sorrento, etc. The ferry terminal is fairly close where you can take a trip and visit the surrounding islands.

Wonderful 1950s hotel with much of the original furniture. Great location

Hotel was fine. especially the view from the balcony. Breakfast was good. One small problem was the balcony door had a problem and was hard to close and would not lock.

The best location in Naples!

Overall very nice hotel but the cleaning staff did not understand the meaning of the do not disturb sign. The view from the rooms balcony was nice but is on a main street so can be noisy. The hotel is very near the port with boat service to all the small coastal cities.

Had high hopes for this hotel. The views from the hotel of the Bay of Naples are terrific. The weather was fantastic too but for all that the hotel was a let down and in fairness it wouldn't take much to change this. The breakfast was poor, cold bacon and eggs on display. The cereal was in glass bowls and looked and tasted like the cheap variety. The juice tasted like water. If you arrived after 9.30am very little was replenished if any at all. The staff at breakfast seemed disinterested, there was no greeting or welcoming atmosphere. The cleaning service was very good, some of the reception staff were friendly, others seemed too busy in paperwork to even look up. The location is beautiful, though stay out of the water. Taxi fare to the train station is twelve euro, you will be charged up to twenty euro if you don't set the fare before entering the taxi. Be firm, they will back down and do remember to tip. One taxi driver offered a day trip for one hundred and twenty five euros, if you went by train if would cost a third of this. For a few extra euros spent on providing a better breakfast, a good breakfast, and some staff training in friendliness this would be a great hotel to stay in. Won't be returning or recommending.

The hotel is in a good position.There are many nice restaurants in the area. I had a junior suite and I have to say that it was quite basic, I had imagined it to be a bit more luxurious, although it was very spacious. The breakfast was nice and there was a lovely view from the dining room.

The hotel was in a good location for Naples, but the room was old, cramped, and several things did not work. The shower hose broke, and the water was coming from the break in the hose, instead of the shower head. The room was very dated. The maid came in the room while we were there and did not speak English which was kind of unnerving. She wanted to replace something in the fridge. Staff at the front desk were pleasant, and we were advised by the front hotel staff to not wear our rings or watches outside of the hotel. We appreciated the advise. We were on our honeymoon, and this was the last night of our trip. I left my nightgown in the room and have sent 2 e-mails asking how I can get it sent to me. No response from the hotel, and this is very disappointing. The food in the restaurant was good, and the servers were nice. The pool on the top of the hotel was also nice with a great view. It was great to see the castle across the street. We did walk back from the main museum in Naples and had no trouble walking on the streets.

We had expected a 4 star hotel and our first room was about a 2.5 stars. The location is in the best area in Naples and there are excellent places to eat nearby. Important to know - the hotel has two towers and one is much nicer than the other. We were in the older tower (where the front check-in desk is located) on the 2nd floor the first night and it was horrible. The air conditioning wouldn't even cool the room and the beds and pillows were the hardest that I had ever slept on. Our sleeping room was clean and dated, but the bathroom had dirt on the floor and a dirty tub. The bedroom had a major crack across the ceiling. The three of us only slept for about 3 hours that night due to the heat and rock hard beds. When we got up at 6am our room was 28 degrees celsius (about 82 degrees F). I went right down to the front desk and the woman who helped me (Maria) was very apologetic and told me that the part of the hotel I was in has air conditioning problems. She asked me to pack up our belongings and when we returned that evening we would be in a room in which the AC worked and was cleaner. When we returned for our second night and asked about our new room, the man at the desk was fairly rude and said "we can't change room and we turn off the air conditioning in the whole hotel from 1 am to 6 am", so tough. I pushed harder and asked again and said we were told we would be in a different room and when he finally looked it up, we had been changed to the newer tower. It was much better and was in-line of what we were expecting based on the price and the rating. They gave us a room with a view of the castle and water front and even though the AC didn't work in the middle of the night, it had cooled it enough that we had a much better nights sleep. We appreciated the woman (Maria) at the desk who was so kind, but found the rest of the front desk staff to be fairly rude and condescending.

wonderful location, beautiful terrace on roof, nice staff, but air conditioning not working properly, smelling slightly of oil and pumping out very slightly cool air in a baking hot night. We had already changed room once because first one, a supposed non smoking one, smelled heavily of smoke, and didn't feel up to asking for a second change in the middle fo the night when the condition of the air conditioning became apparent.

Beautifully updated and maintained hotel from the Poltrona Frau lobby and bar furniture to the room, restaurant and roof-top pools.

My room at the Royal Continental Hotel was a reasonable size and was quite comfortable. However, the TV did not work well, and the drain in the shower was partially clogged. The carpet in the room was a little old, though not terrible. The quality of food at breakfast was only so-so. Most of the problems were cosmetic, and the location was perfect. With a little facelift, this could be a very nice hotel.

Positives: - best breakfast out of the 4 hotels I stayed at - Nicest neighborhood in Naples - seafront view - taxi's close by -next to good pizzerias -satellite tv in the room negatives: - had to keep card in room to get electricity - bed was stiff - front desk marginally helpful -naples its a crappy place - need taxis to get to touristy places, too shady to walk

Very beautiful, excellent staff. The room was huge, beautiful view of the ocean, but a bit away from downtown Naples. Convenient for our stay so it was very nice...beatuiful views. Don't arrive early though or you can't get your room until 2pm!

Far from the train station, so take a taxi, but great location near many restaurants and tourist sites. The breakfast was great, the room was great and location was great. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend.

The hotel location is great. The beds were very hard, the coffee awful. The air conditioner was not working half the time, it was always warm or hot in the hotel due to high humidity and lack of suficient air. Breakfast was very nice, except for the coffee which is very strong. Hotel staff were great very helpful.

アメリカ的な大型ホテルです。海辺に最高の場所にあり、海側の部屋を予約すれば、素晴らしい眺めです。近くにはクリントン大統領も来た高級レストランがあり。リーズナブルで値段でナポリ料理が満喫できます。徒歩15分くらいでカプリ行の船着き場で便利です。近所に小型スーパーもあり買い物にも便利です。

Os funcionários não eram muito solícitos , encontramos dificuldades em obter informações turísticas básicas acerca da cidade e dos eventos.

Scelta ottima ed economica (paragonata ai prezzi degli altri tre hotel sul lungomare). La Junior suite ha quattro enormi vetrate che affacciano direttamente su Castel dell'Ovo. Stanza con salottino, letto matrimoniale a tre piazze e bagno (piccolo). Esperienza unica.

Ha una vista fantastica, proprio di fronte a Castel dell'Ovo. Vicino al centro e al molo per Capri. Quartiere tranquillo. Parecchi ristoranti nella zona, tipicamente per turisti. Attenzione ai prezzi! Camere ampie, pulite e silenziose, anche se fronte strada (noi abbiamo preso una superior vista mare) . E' un buon hotel.

Tweede keer in dit hotel dat ook congreshotel is. Parkeergarage onder t hotel, zwembad (op zondag pas om 11u!), bescheiden fitnessruimte. Ontbijt is goed. Geweldig uitzicht en de winkels en oude stad zijn letterlijk om de hoek. Prima hotel voor enkele dagen Napels tegen heel redelijke prijs. Verwacht geen Amerikaans-personal attention. Tracht in Royal deel te zitten; continental-deel is aan wat renovatie toe, maar nog goed te doen. Wij waren er in september 2011.

El hotel es hermoso, con vista fabulosa al mar.Facil de llegar, excelente desayuno, buena atencion. Nos hubiese gustado quedarnos mas, solo estuvimos de paso.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon und Aussicht aufs Meer.Es war ein Traum.Das Zimmer war sehr schön und gross.Es liegt sehr zentral. Die Tiefgagage ist nicht zu empfehlen ,da die Autos wärend des Aufendhaltes keinen eigenen Stellplatz haben.Die Autos werden vom Personal laufend bewegt und beengt abgestellt.Mit anderen Worten es ist nicht garantiert das das Auto unbeschadet nach dem Aufenthalt wieder abgegeben wird. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist nicht sehr freundlich.Das Frühstück könnte besser sein für so ein Hotel

Vue exceptionnelle des chambres situées sur la baie. Piscine à l'eau de mer très appréciée après les visites sous 40° à Naples. ainsi que la vraie Granissada au citron servie à la piscine... Nombreux restaurants à proximité. Beaucoup de commerces fermés en Août. Très bon séjour.

あまりドツトコム利用がないのか、フロントの態度がでかく　私があなたに良い部屋をあたえます。といきなりいわれ　戸惑いました。腹の立つのをとうりこしましたが、1泊の辛抱かとあきらめました。

Das Hotel ist super. Von der Lage bis zur Sauberkeit. Nur das Personal ( von der Direktion bis zum Zimmerservice ) ist so etwas von unfreundlich, das man schon gar nicht davon reden mag. Erst nach einer Beschwerde beim Direktor wurde es etwas besser. Ansonsten das ideale HOtel zum entspannen oder als Ausgangspunkt für die Entdeckung von Neapel

Dejligt hotel med meget serviceorienteret personale. Hotellet ligger godt i gåafstand fra mange seværdigheder, havnen og centrum. God morgenmad på 1. sal med udsigt over vandet. Vi boede på 3. sal med havudsigt, og vil klart anbefale at betale ekstra for dette. Mange gode restauranter i nærheden. Vi kommer gerne igen.

場所としてはタクシーでナポリ中央駅から15分(20€)、ナポリカポディキーノ国際空港から30分程度(35€)で行けました。 景色が素晴らしく海岸線にホテルがあるため海側の部屋を予約しました。チェックインは14時からとなっていましたが12時に到着しとところ問題なくチェックイン可能でした。ボーイさんが部屋までカバンを持ってくれます。チップは2€払いました。イタリアはチップを必要としないようですが気前良く払うと相手も喜んでやってくれます。部屋は冷暖房完備です。 電子セーフティボックス、ドライヤー、シャンプーたなどはありました。冷蔵庫にはドリンクがセットされていますが買ってきた飲み物を入れるスペースがあります。近所のスーパーなら水が1.5Lで0.8€、ワインもフルボトルで1€程度で買えてお得です。TVは100ch程は無料で見れます。PAYTV(映画20タイトル、アダルト24チャンネル、専門スポーツ番組)は各12€で見れます。詳しくはレセプションに問い合わせのメッセージが表示されるので受付で聞くか電話するといいです。 部屋はダブルルームでしたがハンガーBOXやソファ、テーブルもありました。シーズンオフなのか2泊(2名)で250€程度で泊まれました。 電源は220AのCタイプのコンセントです。とにかく清潔感があります。 ホテル内の食事ですがブレックファーストはバイキングになります。無料で食べられます。パン、ハム、チーズ、ヨーグルトなどがいくつか用意されておりドリンクはコーヒー、紅茶、カプチーノなどをオーダー(これも無料)できます。ランチ、ディナーは有料です。 海側に卵城と呼ばれる城が徒歩2分程度で行けます。夜はライトアップされとても綺麗です。レストランも海岸線を港へ歩いていくと結構ありました。 ホテルにはタクシーが常にいます。予約は必要ありません。港(フェリーや水上ボート乗り場)には徒歩25分も掛けて歩きました。タクシーなら5分程度で着けます。カプリ島などへ行く場合はこの港を利用します) カプリ島マリーナグランデまで45分16€で行けます。青の洞窟へはモーターボートへの乗り継ぎがあるためオプションツアーにはいるといいでしょう。 ナポリ中央駅よりマリーナ側まで来てしまった方が観光スポットはたくさんあるのでオススメします。 ナポリの人は気さくなためすぐに声を掛けて来ますが特に気にする必要はないです。 始めて来ましたがこのホテルはオススメでします。
