The hotel offers an airport shuttle that runs every 20 minutes. It is very clean and comfortable - similar to what is expected in an American hotel, not the small typical european hotels. It is very updated with amenities. I stayed in a suite, which was extremely large. No complaints!

Great shutttle to the airport. We stayed a few days and took the shuttle to the airport many times to catch the subway into town. Didn't fully appreciate this until we stayed in another hotel that charged 5euro per trip. Clean and quiet with the windows shut. Also the only hotel that we stayed in with air conditioning....very important when you can't open windows due to the noise. Overall great choice.

We had a junior suite - that was an overrated description. The room was crowded, 1990-styled, but 2012 - priced .

Everyone was friendly and very professional... great coffee in room!!! very comfortable.... good transportation to/from airport...

Likes: bus service from and to airport Likes: can eat at bar late in the evening Dislikes: must go to front desk to access internet; you are charged! Dislikes: tube/shower hardware not easy to use Dislikes: cold room

This hotel is a great place but the cost of food is so high. We were shocked at how much we had to pay to eat at the hotel and there is no place near by so you have to eat there

Very good room. Friendly staff. Great transfer service from airport, though it took ages to find where the bus left from. Would recommend this hotel.

Very nice, upscale and close to the airport. Room was perfect! Forested area for walking / running / biking across the street. Convenience store close if needed. Will stay again for next layover!

Steigenberger Airport in Frankfurt does it again!! I have now stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions, both conditions during layover for international flights. The hotel is very convenient - location and services top notch - comfort and food excellent and very good value. Shuttle bus meets full requirements.

rooms are somewhat small and the promised king-size bed turned out to be a double

Close to Airport Food and Drinks Expensive

The service was excellent, and the location perfect for an in transit overnight stay near the airport. We were upgraded to an amazing, contemporary, spacious room with a view of an adjacent forest. The pool was lovely and the right temperature with an amazing waterfall and whirlpool in the corner. The room service was on time and the food was excellent. The price was good for Germany too. What more could you ask for? Very pleased indeed!!!

Enjoyable stay, nice bars and restaraunts. Martin the bar tender was fantastic.

Very modern hotel close to the airport. Room was large and well appointed with a great bath. Free shuttle to the airport. There are several nice dining choices, including a 24 hour one. Only complaint was breakfast was very expensive-ask the price first!

The hotel offers good service for those requiring an airport hotel. What it lacks in atmosphere it makes up for in terms of OK rooms and convenience to airport for those requiring an overnight stay to make forward connections. I would not consider it a good 4 star but not 5 star hotel . My major and very serious gripe is the treatment of guest who are non smokers. The hotel provides a small space for smokers to imbibe in their vice with a small open but ventilated area directly by the guest lifts. Being a small space, smokers and their smoke spill into the path of guest accessing the lifts. All guests must walk through a wall of smoke to get in and out of the hotel. I complained to hotel verbally and in writing but there was no response. So non smokers are warned.

nice and quite hotel...

I loved the location of the hotel. I needed a hotel close to the airport, since I had to catch a flight the next morning. The Hotel was 5 minutes away with the hotel shuttle. The shuttle ran all night, which gave us the opportunity to go downtown for a while. I highly recommend this hotel. If you didn't want to go anywhere, the hotel had several restaurants and a great bar. I will stay there again on my future trips to Europe.

The hotel service was slow and the food and beverages were expensive compared to other hotels in the area. The rooms were old and needed cleaning as well as updating.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and would be absolutely thrilled to choose this hotel again, should i have the opportunity. Proximity and access to the airport is fantastic. The shuttle bus that runs every 10 minutes most of the day, to the airport, is frequent and takes literally 3 to 4 minutes before you disembark at Terminal 1. the hotel is quiet. Huge lounge area that flows into the bar and restaurant. The rooms are great. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Full spa and fitness center. The only problem i can think of is that the restaurant food is overpriced; well, at least expensive (if you do not consider it over-priced). However, you can go back to the airport and go to the airport supermarket (interesting location for a super market) and buy juices, wine, fruit, water, etc for your room if you don't want to buy the expensive stuff at the restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel.

The facilities are very good. The bed was not comfortable and the room AC hard to get right. Room service food was poor. Take the time to go next door .

I love this hotel, but I am continually amazed at how expensive the food and beverages are in the hotel.

As always, our stay at the Steigenberger Frankfurt Airport hotel was perfect. We were in a standard room rather than the Tower, and even their basic rooms are far above the norm. Our luggage was delayed and a courteous front desk had the suitcases delivered to our room at 12:30 am (after cautiously checking with us by phone). Food in the traditional restaurant (Unterschwangstein) is a perfect way to finish your trip to Germany. The complimentary airport shuttles are on time and courteous. You will not regret staying here

The Steigenberger Airport Hotel is always great. Staff courteous and friendly and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. Easy access to the Airport and Frankfurt.

Very close to airport with free shuttle. Breakfast at $40 , it's not possible to find a fair value at this price. Room price was fair on a Friday night. jp msp

Room was a smoking room and stunk. The amenities were non existant. But for the price and an overnight stay its OK for me. I would not recommend if I had my wife with me.

No free wi-fi locations in the hotel, even for just printing a boarding pass; seems shortsighted.. No USA TV available, only BBC. (I'd recommend Fox News for American's, not CNN who in Europe serves up news on mainly Africa & Middle East.) The lighting in the bathroom is striking but not functionable for shaving. The room coffee machine was either broken or not user friendly; No free cup in the lobby for early risers; 3EUR later got a small one for the shuttle. I'd do it again, I'm just amazed at the limitations with 5 stars..

The hotel distance to airport was very convenient but the room wasn't very nice. The environment was not according to the picture shown, 5 stars hotel. Not worth paying such amount of money !!!

If you want good place to stay close to Frankfurt airport this is the place. Free Shuttle runs every 20 min. and the resturants and bars are excellent. The room was very small but clean and comfortable for one person. The staff and service was excellent.

Some of the basic amenities are charged seperatley - I think these should be of less cost and be included int eh room rent. Some of them are, 1. Breakfast fee 2. Internet fee 3. Carparking fee 4. No Comb or tooth paste

The location is fine if you need to stay at the airport but that is it. The room was basic with few amenities but clean. Typical nickle and dime mentality - no free internet and even connecting to a toll free number results in a surprise 3 euro charge at checkout. The resturant is good but overpriced. It would be nice if there was some description of how to find the shuttle - at the extreme far end of terminal 1A and there is a terminal 2 shuttle but it is even harder to find.

The location is convenient but everything else is just ok. Overpriced for what you get... overcharge for internet... small room.

My wife and I were assigned a room with foam beds that sagged in the middle.I have not seen beds like that for 20 years. No springs, no foundation just 6 inches of foam that I could squeze together with one hand.

The hotel is well located for transit stay, from the airport. Shuttle often and easy to access. Beside the room rate everything is extra and very expensive

Rumble from jets rattles windows

Excellent Hotel with good restaurants on site. Rooms can be smallish but adequate. Very friendly and helpful staff.
