We were disappointed that you had to pay for internet and breakfast..I would have rather paid a little more for the room and that be included. The bed of course was very soft no support for two older people with bad backs. The only thing in the bathroom the soapdish/handle was lose and the one attempt at taking a bath it was in the wrong spot and that is when I noticed previous holes in the marble. It had been moved several times..obviously a chronic problem this handle but it was still lose and you either had to scrunch up and be at the absolute front of the tub or constantly hit it with your arm. The one very nice thing was it was queit to be located in such a busy location. That part was greatly appreciated. The restraurant was okay..breakfast was typical and good. We had dinner one night there and it was okay but nothing spectacular. The staff was very friendly and helpful and our room did appear very clean.

Excellent choice. We wanted something clean, comfortable and close to train station to take early train to Budapest. Couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Would highly recommend it.

This was a great location to get around Munich. Arrived in Munich airport. I took the train directly to the main station in Munich. The hotel is directly across. Very simple. I would stay there again for the access.

Nearby the central train station and at walking distance of Munich center, this old fashion hotel offers an excellent value for your money. My wife and I enjoyed from the stay very much.

The biggest selling point is the location - right next to the main train station and right down the street from some of the main tourist areas. The room was very small and nothing special. But decent for what it was. You are really paying for the location, here.

We stayed overnight in Munich on the way back from ski holiday in Austria. Hotel Eden was easy pick because of location next to Hauptbanhof. Upon arrival we had friendly reception and bellboy parked our car to hotel's carage and deliverd our 9 pieces of luggage to our rooms in no time. Healtclub and sauna were still open at 9.30 pm. We got easy to find recommendations for late dinner and Spatekellern fulfilled our wishes perfectly. Surrounding of hotel is bit colourfull but did not disturb us at all. Our rooms at top floor were neat and very quiet. Breakfast was not included in our room charge but the price was reasonable for the good selection and courteous service.

We needed a good place to stay on our last night in Europe before an early flight from the Munich airport the next day. The hotel location simply could not have been more convenient to the Bahnhof for both our inbound train from Austria and our outbound train to the airport the following morning. Heck, you didn't even have to cross the street to take the stairs down to the S-Bahn platform in the Bahnhof. We were also just a short stroll to all of the usual tourist sites like the Rathaus, Hofbrau Haus, Viktualienmarkt, etc. Our top floor room had just been re-done and was very clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for an in-city hotel. Overall we were very pleased with the value received vs. past experience in other major European hub cities. The staff was friendly and helpful in every respect. We'll definitely stay here again when our travels take us back to Austria or southern Germany.

This hotel was a perfecet choice for a one night stay in Münich as we wanted to see the city one day while travelling back from the Austrian alps to Finland. It is just in the opposite of the main railway station where you have the choice to choose trains or a bus when going to the airport. We took the airport bus which left 10 m in front of the hotel! It was convinient and paid only 10,50 € - so the the same as train which would have a litlle bit more complicated. Only remarkable problem we had was that the room was very cold (about +17C), allthought heating was at full. Well, outside it was about -16 C and finally the blankets were very warm.

This was my third stay at the hotel, which I love! This time, I brought seven other family members with me!

We were excited about this hotel based on the pictures, we thought the rooms had been updated. Sadly there is a lot of variation between rooms, ours smelled and looked old. The pics on trip advisor are more accurate. The location is central but being directly across from the train station lacks the character and the feeling of the rest of the city. No good views. Overall, our experience wasn't bad but it wasn't great. For the price we expected more.

I stayed at the Eden Hotel Wolff at the end of a business trip. The location is superb, just steps away from the train station in Munich. Also, Marienplatz was within walking distance and access to the U-Bahn was available a block away. The room was comfortable, if small, and the hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful. The price was also exceptional for the location. My collegaue and I were able to book airport transportation on the Lufthansa bus directly at the hotel and pick up the bus across the street from the hotel. We were also offered tickets to the Bayern Munich game, which we declined to purchase, as we had plans in the old town. The only negative is the neighborhood around the train station is not the best, but the Eden Hotel Wolff is on the best side of this area and there were no concerns for my collegue and I to walk from the hotel to the Platz. I will definetly stay here again!

I don't speak German and the staff was so amazing. They helped us with local knowledge, tours and airport transport to and from. The rooms were modern and clean. I was very happy with my choice to stay here - so convenient to everything as well. All food and water in Munich is expensive. The restuarant associated with the hotel is pricey but the food is excellent. We had a great time (walking distance) at Christmas Market. I highly recommend this hotel.

If you are taking the train, or are coming from or going to the airport this is the perfect location. The airport bus is directly across the street, it costs 10.5 euro and takes you straight to the airport with just one quick stop along the way. The hotel is also right across from the main train station and a three minute walk to the main strip of town. The single rooms are single, so they are small, but clean and nice.

V convenient placement for Hauptbahnhoff, easy to find. However, my double room was tiny and the bathroom needed a refit. Front of house staff v helpful. I didn't use the restaurant. Overall impression is one of faded glory. Mediocre experience.

Outstanding location for Oktoberfest. Just across the street from the main train station with everything from Starbucks to Burgerking and several other German fairs. All trams, or at least it appeared, come and go from the main train station as well. Clean decent rooms in a very nice location. The staff was very helpful with instructuions of what tram or subway to take to get anywhere we wanted to go. They even gave us directions to get to a self serve laundry in spite of the fact they offer laundry service in the hotel.

Came here during Oktoberfest, so hard to say what the normal value is like. Service was great, very friendly and helpful. Restaurant next door was also tasty. Right across the road from the train station, not from from center, so location is pretty great. Good for business.

Great hotel-great location-superb staff-will definitely stay there again.

I booked a superior single room. The size of the room was advertised as 19-21 square meters. However, the room is so small that one can just walk around the bed. There isn't a single drawer in the room. The wardrobe has a breadth of 50cm. The door is just broad enough to let my suitcase through. How can this room be 19-21 cm?

Wonderful hotel with the most friendliest staff, a superb restaurant and warm & comfortable bar. It is conveniently situated across the road from the train station and a 10/15 minute walk to Marienplatz. (NB. when travelling to the airport take the shuttle bus or train, don't get a taxi, you'll be charged €70) Could not recommend this hotel enough.

The Eden Wolff is situated close to the main railway station in Munich, so very convenient for all transport links (mainline, S bahn, U bahn, trams and buses). It is close to the pedestrianised area of the city centre, about 15 minutes walk from the Marienplatz, and well positioned for many city attractions. My room was clean and of reasonable proportions. Breakfast (which was not included in the rates quoted by hotels.com) was good. While slightly lacking in character, I would recommend the hotel for its location and reasonable price.

My experience there was very positive. However, it would be more convenient for guests to be offered something other thn the breakfast buffet. Not all people are interested in eating a huge breakfast. We were on the 5th floor. I slipped and nearly fell getting into the bathtub. A mat would be a safety feature.

This place was a pretty good hotel. Rooms are kind of small by US standards but very clean and bathroom/shower was pretty good for Europe. Decor of hotel is pretty weak but who cares. Decent top floor "Executive Workout" facility (treadmills, TV, Sauna, Steam Room. Very close to the train station for travel, Luftansa bus to the airport leaves from outside. Walkable to main square.

Everything about this hotel was very nice and met my expectations. The only complaint I have was that they charged me 10 euro for 24 hours of internet service.. The next hotel that I checked into charged me 2 euro for the same period. If you do not mind this minor inconvenience then this hotel is for you!

It is terrible it is not 4 stars it is not even 3 stars besides that it is ok

The hotel is in a very good location - basically got off the airport bus and there is was right in front of us. Also right beside the train station - never had any issued with the surrounding neighbourhood - very quiet. The food in the restaurant at dinner and luch was very nice. Thought the breakfast was expensive for what it was - got a better breakfast in train station for a lot cheap in Ruben's cafe. Overall would def recommend to tohers travelling to Munich.

The central train station is right across the street. I unfortunately had a rental car. That was somewhat inconvenient there, they had to park the car for me which was a bit of a hassle. However, the hotel was comfortable and I enjoyed my stay there.

Everything was great - only complaint is the bed is not comfortable

Perfect location, large rooms, and food at the restaurant was great!

The main advantage of this hotel is it's location; if your break includes using the trains for visiting further locations, this hotel cannot be beaten. A good traditional restraunt and five minutes walk to Marienplatz and central Munich. Good value, for those that intend to explore Munich and Bavaria.

The stay at the hotel was generally ok. The front desk staff was rude and condescending. One in particular was very rude. Other than that the hotel was as expected. If you are staying near the train station and only going to the plaza nearby, then this is a good location.

This is my second stay; I love this hotel. The location is very convenient, across the street from the Hauptbahnhof and walking distance to the Marienplatz. Clean, comfortable, great breakfast. 24 hours of wireless internet is fairly inexpensive.

Excellent location. My boyfriend and I arrived in Munich assuming that the other had taken the address of the hotel. Panicing slightly, we hopped on a train to Munich central station, walked outside and it was right there (phew). Five or ten minute walk to Marienplatz, excellent check-in and service. We didn't try the bar or hotel, but it looked lovely. The only slight criticism I have is of the sauna, which was never on! (however, we did go during quiet season, which may explain this!). really great deals on Hotel.com- book now!! Munich is awesome :)

The Eden Hotel Wolff in Münich, Germany was perfect for our stay in town. We checked in for 5 days, and had a very pleasant experience from start to finish. Our room was recently renovated, well appointed and very clean with a modern bathroom. With full access to the Wellness Center (also recently renovated) the hotel overall looks and functions quite well. The location is perfect for those on holiday, as it is literally across the street from the Main Train Station ( Hauptbahnhof) with very easy access to the U-bahn, S-bahn and Tram. Also perfect distance to the pedestrian-only Old-town area eating, sightseeing, shopping, etc.... The staff went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable. Everyone we spoke to had excellent English skills and were friendly and helpful at all times. The Hotel has a very nice restaurant that served a very nice breakfast buffet in addition to full service lunch and dinner. A very good experience for a first time trip to Münich.

The Eden Wolff was everything I could have asked. Friendly staff, great bar, excellent restaurant, clean. I was a bit concerned about finding it, although I knew it was near the main train station. What I didn't expect was to go to the end of the train platform, look left, and see the hotel through the station windows! For a road-weary traveler, that was a welcome sight! My only complaint was that my bed had down pillows, but one phone call to the outstanding housekeeping staff and they quickly delivered two foam pillows to my room. I highly recommend this hotel.

Right across from Munich Main Train Station. Although the immediate neighborhood is very busy the hotel is quieter than I expected. Arriving at 1000 hours the manager had a room immediately cleaned for me. The airport bus and all the S and U-Bahn lines are right across the street. The Hotel is well maintained and the staff helpful.

This hotel is very convenient to the train station, but not the best area to be in. I was glad it was only one night.

Is right across the street from the central train station and the Lufthansa bus to and from the airport (E10.50). It is also less than a block away from the subway and the booking includes a free breakfast buffet which is scrumptous. Single room a bit small but serviceable.

The quality and location of this hotel is perfict. You are within easy walking distance of the city center. If you aree traveling to other parts of the city the subway and trains are right the. We flew in to Munich and it was an easy subway ride to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to any traveler!

it was so close to the train station and that was convenient. After getting back to the train station from visiting other area, i did not have to walk much at all and went straight to the hotel room to ease up my fatigued legs. At times, it could be noisy due to a lot of people hanging around the station. Then again it was a dynamic experience and it is fun to watch people in and out.

Nice hotel and rooms. Very nice location and staff especially Maximilian the chefporter. very quiet rooms with double glazed windows and double doors as well.
