موقع رائع قريب منLas Ramblasوالجزء القديم من المدينة,و من الحافلات والمطار ايضا .الموظفون ودودون,تم ادخالنا خلال4 ساعات من وصولنا.لم نكن بحاجتهم كثيرا,لكن الطاقم كان يتكلم الانجليزية ولغات اخرى.كلم تكن الاسرة بالمستوى المطلوب. على الرغم من نظافة الشراشف الا ان الاسرة صلبة والوسائد غير كافية.كانت لدينا اطلالة رائعة من الطابق 9.يجب عليك تفقد المفاتيح عند المغادرة,لكن لم تكن لدينا مشكلة,على الاقل علمنا اننا لن نفقدها!سنقوم بالحجز مرة اخرى.شكرا Avenida Palace!

Metro station is right outside hotel. You can hear the trains, but it's not that loud. Bed was hard, but hotel was beautiful and you got free wifi.

Hotel was conveniently located 1 1/2 blocks away from the airport shuttle-bus drop-off spot at plaza catalunya. The front desk employees were cordial, efficient, and direct (to some it may seem that they are surly, but that is the way the Spanish are, take it or leave it). The lobby has a very nice turn of the century feel to it, a beautiful central staircase, and comfortable waiting area. They have bellhops and porters for your convenience (many pretend 4 star hotels are starting to skimp on these). We had good wifi signal in our room. Our room was large, comfortable bed, big closets, flatscreen tv with cable, minibar and safe. The bathroom was very large for european standards, the essentials plus double sink and a bidet. The location is superb, 1 1/2 away from Gaudi's Casa Batlló, 1 1/2 away from Plaza Catalunya, Las Ramblas and the Gothic district. Metro station 30ft. away. Front desk arranged all the tickets we needed for shows, dinner and tours. Would definitely stay here again.

It is a hotel full of history in a perfect location but regrefully not bery well maintained and clean. In Barcelona you never get for what you pay!!! Although it is a very nice city and very nice people, warming and welcoming!!!

Perfect location, one block from beginning of Las Ramblas. Numerous restaurants in walking distance, safe area to walk, friendly staff, we had a suite so plenty of space, immaculate room, would definitely stay again.

The hotel was perfectly located for what we wanted to see and do. It is clean and fairly comfortable but is a bit tired and outdated. The front desk staff was responsive but not particularly welcome or helpful.

This is one of the most terrible hotels I has ever stayed in. The first thing is the front desk staff is rude and incompetent. We also did not have heat in our room and after we complained about it to the front desk person He said he would call someone in to look at it and a course no one came to look at it. It was freezing in the room and Barecelona got down to 3c that night. If we wanted to sleep anyway we could not also because of the noise in the room next to us which was being renovated in the night. Who was the idot manager who thought it was alright to do noisy work putting down carpet and painting in the middle of the night with guest next door and of course the front desk staff is to incompetent to do anything about it. Thanks for the great stay at your terrible hotel. Please feel free to read my postings on other websites about your hotel. I don't want anyone else to get taken advantage of by you terrible Husa Avenida Palace.

The staff were welcoming. The rooms were well appointed. The location central and walking distance to good restaurants and shops. The service was good and the concierge particularly helpful

Hotel adequate, staff very friendly

Unbelieveable location GREAT price for it's closeness to everything

Good location, staff not helpful. Stayed 5 nights, staff never gave me a second tiny bar of soap. No a/c, heating also not turned on since hotel wanted to save money on electricity. You are better off staying at many of better hotels for equal price.

We booked this hotel for it's great location - very close to the Metro, Catalunya Plaza, and La Ramblas. But we were not happy with the room; they are very small rooms, with uncomfortable beds, and the bathroom was full of someone else's hair! Also, the free WiFi isn't really free. Try to find a better hotel for your money before booking this one.

Hotel was really nice EXCEPT for three things. Bellman was very surly to us, ditto for male receptionist who shall go nameless but watch out for additional charges that were added to bill that we did not use; ie minibar charges , Internet charges etc. Also, do yourself a favor and avoid eating at hotel. Very expensive and NOT worth the money.

The hotel is nice and close to main attractions but the staff seems to careless to customer.

you are in the middle of everything and you can walk to so many places that are near by.

Good location but old hotel, poor service expensive

The Avenida is a very good choice. It is centrally located amongst a lot of activity, sights, and restaurants, yet feels safe. The room was comfortable and clean, a bit small, as European rooms tend to be, and we looked out at three brick walls. The staff was friendly and helpful. We wouold stay there again.

We were very happy with our room and the hotel was both comfortable and clean. The staff were pleasant and we enjoyed the fact that the hotel was centrally situated. The only issue was with the inside location of my parents room which had overlooked a dark and dreary courtyard - a very depressing view. We would recommend specifying rooms with an outside view if staying there again. The breakfast was quite expensive but good quality. We did not use the rather limited and expensive dinner option but there are plenty of options for evening meals within short walking distance. Overall we were satisfied with our stay.

Ideal location if you want to see the Barcelona sites. Easily within walking distance, but metro/train is also extremely close. The only thing I didn't like was that the AC was not as cold as I like. On the other hand, European AC is NOT like the ac we have in the south! Still, I would highly recommend this hotel. Also, Luis at front desk was very helpful with getting boarding passes printed, loaning of adapter (we had one, but ours was "flat" whereas the connections in room were recessed). There was a lady working the front desk also who was very helpful, but I failed to get her name.

The hotel is very conveniently located between two of the major streets of Spain, La Rambla and Passaig de Gracia. Plenty of shopping, restaurants and a major grocery/departmet store, La Corte Inglese, within walking distance. The hotel itself is in a gorgeous building, but the rooms could use an upgrade. The walls are quite thin, and noise from neighboring rooms could be heard. The hotel staff were very friendly and always ready to help. Overall a pleasant weeklong stay was had.

This hotel was in a great lacation. Close to Las Romblas but not right on it. We were able to walk to most places we wanted to visit. The staff was helpful with restaurant suggestions that turned out to be excelent. There was one throwback to an older era. No electronic keys! They gave you a real key that had to be left at the disk when you left and retreived upon return! The one inconvience was that wireless was only available in the lobby not in our room.

This hotel is in a great location to explore Barcelona. The staff are nice and helpful. Our room didn't have a view but we were sleeping when in it. Good value.

We would stay again. The internet is NOT free except for 30 minutes in the lobby. The location is just about perfect with Metro and bus virtually at front door. Staff helpful and friendly but usually quite busy. Breakfast costs too much when compared to all the opportunities within a 4 or 5 minute walk.

We stayed at Avenida Palace Hotel after a cruise and arrived two hours prior to check in. The staff was very friendly, the hotel clean and well appointed and we were allowed access to our room upon arrival. Although the hotel is surrounded by busy streets we found the room to be very well insulated from street noise. It is located with in easy walking distance to La Rambla and many other local attractions. We would highly recommend this hotel to others and hope to have the opportunity to stay again.

The stay was nice, but I was disapointed by the size of the room and the blind view I got from my window. This was not adequate regarding the price.

great lcoation, great service, great interior design, grat state of maintenance. It is centrally located so a room with a window to the main road will not give you a good night of sleep, particularly in a place like Barceloana, which lights up at night. We therefore took a "quiet room", ie. with a window to the interior court. No great view, but very quiet. Only downside is that there is no free WIFI in the room. Instead, it costs 20 Euros per day, which is exorbitant given the 4start status and price of the hotel. At least, they do have free 30mins vouchers for the hotel lobby, so one is not entirely disconnected.

Veery convenient to transportation and activities; staff was friendly and helpful. Friends stayed in The Beatles Suites!!! :) Great time!

The hotel was in a great location and the rooms were clean. The only problem was the rude people at the front desk. I asked if they had a concierge and they said they were all able to help. I asked one of the men behind the desk some advice on some sights to see and his response to me was to get out of the way because someone behind me wanted to check in. There were many great places to eat and when we asked for a recommendation they all recommended the same place. When we went by the place it was always empty. With all the restaurants in the neighborhood, they only wanted us to go to one. One of the front desk offered me a free glass of champagne if we went there for dinner. It felt as though they were being compensated for sending people there. When I asked them about other places that were recommended they always told us to go to that restaurant. Every single person at the desk only recommeded that one place to eat. I found this very annoying.

This is an excellent hotel, old world charm and very friendly service. Our request for a high floor was honored, and the city views were fantastic. The location is superb, and the price paid represent very good value.

Upon arrival, @8am, I was greeted by a very nice desk crew (male and female) and the doorman secured my bags in a locked room until my room was ready (@3pm). I went on a long walk of a fabulous area surrounding the hotel and then to the Sagrada Familia. A great walk!! Upon my return, went to my room (9th floor) which was rather warm with the sun baking on the window side of the room. As I opened the curtain, I found the a great view of the neighboring building's roof and air conditioners...and that's all I could see. I sat on my bed which felt like a bunch of springs with a little bit of padding. Glad I was only staying for a day. In the mean time, I called down to the front desk and spoke with a not so friendly female worker about getting internet. I learned that the only free internet was in the lobby. When I went down to the lobby, that same female was stunning miserable to people ahead of me and certainly not pleasant to me...despite my friendliness and smile. If there was anything that would make me not come back it would have been her. Overall...hmmmm....I would try the hotel again but certainly not in the room provided to me. Hopefully, I would not have to deal with that woman again.

This is a great location for visiting Barcelona on leisure. We were visiting on business and found that the hotel staff were unaware of a lot of the details regarding the big trade show taking place in Barcelona despite their hotel being responsible for putting on shuttle buses. When we asked for assistance on a number of matters to do with the local area and transportation, it was very difficult to get an answer. We also got caught up in flight chaos following the weather conditions in the UK and then the air traffic control strike in Spain, but the hotel didn't seem to be proactive in conveying information about the situation despite a lot of guests milling around to find out what was happening. We were however lucky enough to secure our room for a few hours more thanks to one of the guys on the front desk. Other than that, the hotel was very clean and reasonable for the location.

地下鉄からのアクセスが大変よく、とても便利でした。レセプションにいた男性に近郊に行く電車のタイムテーブルをたずねたところ、即座には回答がもらえなかったもののいろいろ調べてくれ、ホスピタリティあふれる対応をしていただきました。お部屋のサイズやシーツなど、快適でした。連泊をしましたが、バスマットが２日目、３日目となくて、バスマットがない、とお部屋係に電話しましたが残念ながら通じず、しまいにバスタオルもってきて、と頼んで代用しました。朝食ビュッフェを１日だけいただきましたが、リーズナブルなお値段だと思いました。おいしかったです。

Hotelli oli oikein hyvällä paikalla keskustassa. Huone oli siisti ja tyylikäs. Ainoa huono puoli oli ikkuna pimeälle sisäpihalle. Aamiainen oli sopivan monipuolinen. Tähän hotelliin menen varmasti uudelleen.

Hotellet er gennemført luxuriøs. Morgenmaden er ikke includeret, men er til en rimelig pris, 12 euro, når der er hele sortimentet til traditional english. Personalet er meget imødekommende. Beliggenheden er lige ved ramblaen og tilmed beliggende ved en central metrostation, så det er let at komme rundt til alting.

Super hotel bien placer. Confort agréable, propre et personnel sympatique. Salle de bain bien équipée et propre. Grande chambre avec beaucoup de rangement.
