We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions. For the most part the staff are pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, there was a "hiccup" on this occasion with the hot water service and they appeared to do everything possible to remedy the problem. However, we have experienced tepid water on other visits, but this was a different problem. An annoying problem arose when we had been given an extension of time from 11.00 a.m. departure to l.00 p.m. We could not access our floor or room after 11.0 a.m. as the computer automatically cancelled access. That is o.k. but it would have been appreciated if Reception had advised in advance to avoid having to return to have the key "activated". Because of various issues etc. Management very kindly allowed us to remain in the room until 4.0 p.m. due to our late flight departure. They also provided sandwiches etc. We did however, have to pursue our various issues but eventually were happy with the response.

We stayed at the Luxe for 3 nights to do near by attractions before heading to Anaheim. We had a car and by LA standards found the Luxe well located to get to attractions such as Universal Studious, Hollywood, Santa Monica & Getty Centre. Rodeo Drive location is great - we did not pick it for the shopping but that it was in a clean and safe neighborhood which it certailny was. With 2 kids we felt comfortable walking around and found some very good and reasonably priced restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The hotel has a nice boutique feel to it and all staff were very friendly. Rooms were well appointed although small but we expected this given location. Only real negative was air conditioner was very loud, which made it hard when trying to sleep. Overall was very happy in choosing the Luxe for our LA stay.

The only good thing about the Luxe Hotel in Beverly Hills is the location, as it sits right on Rodeo Drive. Convenient if you are there to shop or have appts. and can walk everywhere. The hotel room was horrible and we did not get any rest at all!! The room itself was very small with old single pane sliding windows from the sixties. Our window looked directly on to other rooms, making it impossible to leave the windows and blinds open. The air conditioner unit was old, extremely loud and didn't work, even though the weather was very very hot. The mattress was covered in a plastic sheet, adding to the discomfort. We could hear all the sounds from the other rooms, finally complaining around 3:00am about someone jumping around all night above us. Although there was a T.V. there was minimal chanels to pick from. The bathroom was dirty and small. We were not told what time check-out would be but we sat up all night counting the minutes until we could leave. This was more like a Motel 6 experience. When leaving, no one was interested in listening to anything we had to say cutting our complaint off with "Bye Bye". We will definatly not be going back to the Luxe and will return to the Thompson which is the same price and 20 times the hotel. Their location is just as conveient as well. We travel to Beverly Hills at least once a month for business reasons and want a hotel that is clean, comfortable, quiet, with a friendly staff that makes our stay enjoyable.

I would have given all 5's to my review except for one thing: we were put in a room facing Rodeo Drive (yes, we asked for it in advance), but no one told us that at 9:00 a.m., the LA Times Taste of LA Rodeo Drive was starting - the music was loud! I called the desk and asked what the heck was going on, and they offered to move us, but since it was going to be over later that day, we let it go. Otherwise, room was wonderful, albeit small.

I had made reservations, well in advance of my arrival in order to secure a room close to the Book launch party that I had been invited to attend. The Luxe Rodeo Drive was a block from what turned out to be a great party! Unfortunately, the room was the smallest most cramped, I had ever experienced in a 4 star hotel. The bathroom was larger than the bedroom. However, the shower did not work properly. This should have been fixed. The service personnel were outstanding and somewhat made up for the room, which, was not a bargain. I do not recommend this hotel.

Super location. Good price for a great area where you can actually walk to things. Can only say good things in these days of everyone complaining. Free internet, clean, convenient, good service at a good price. Cannot ask for more.

This hotel is located beautifully on Rodeo Drive. The staff were very friendly and always willing to assist and greet you with a smile.

Great little boutique hotel

If you're looking for spacious accommodations, this will not be the place for you. BUT - if you're looking for a great hotel experience where you are treated warmly, cared for, and have a room that's comfortable and quiet, this is the place. Easy to find on Rodeo Drive, central to everything, and none of the problems with noise or street people that you will find in other hotels' reviews. Great value for the price - unbeatable in that neck of the woods.

We enjoyed the Luxe Hotel on Rodeo. The location is fantastic and we got a good value for our room on hotels.com. The room was a little cramped with 2 double beds. The beds were VERY comfortable. The valet/bellman service was slow and sometimes they were no where to be found. Maybe understaffed? We found the same with the wait staff on the patio. The patio is a great place to have a snack and drink and people watch on Rodeo. It is too bad the waitress only turned up once and never came back to check-in with us.

Room was well appointed and reasonable rate. However, room is small and a bit cramped. Location is best ever! Walk out and shop, shop, shop. Valet parking overnight is friendly but expensive.

Great location, cosy room, good service.

We had a very very bad smell in the room. They told us that this is the only available room. The room was smaller as we have paid for.

Hotel location in heart of beverly hills, mid rodeo drive could not be better. Older building. Staff not friendly or accommodating. Rooms very small. Comfortable, if you dont care about details, like getting 2 glasses every night (at check in there were 2 glasses in the room) or having a pen near the writing pad...or in the room. Also, first time ever I had a charge on the bill from the hotel restaurant that did not belong to us. So check your bill carefully!

Everyone was lovely. This hotel is located in the heart of the district. We will definitly stay again.

We dropped our car (50 k+) off at the valet station and 3 hours later the car was still parked in the the same spot!!!! We tried to talk to the reception about it and they didn't even acknowledged us. Subsequently, we asked the 2 valets for explanations : - one of them scoffed and told us that far more luxurious cars were parked there and then walked away from us - the second one told us that he was going to park it in a bigger space in the garage. We asked him if there were any of those bigger spaces available that moment and he said yes. So we asked him why our car was still parked outside in the same spot we left it. No answer. We went to dinner after that and, when we came back, the car was finally parked in the garage. When we saw the pics of the rooms online we thought they were going to be nice and roomy: nevertheless, our room was pretty small (as soon as the walked in we ran into the bed). We found the only real plus of the hotel to be its location on Rodeo Drive.

this hotel was perfect for all our needs

Hôtel est situé sur Rodéo Drive,.une avenue idéale pour le shopping , un quartier avec un grand choix pour se restaurer. La chambre est très agréable, propre et calme Le personnel est serviable et agréable. Un hôtel où nous avons passé un très agréable séjour .

環境は抜群ですが、料金ほど内容は良くないと思いました。

とにかく、ロケーションが最高で、ロデオドライブのど真ん中に位置して、両となりにお店が並んでいて、シャネル・カルティエ・グッチその他のお店がすぐそこにあり、ゆっくり吟味することができました。また、すぐにバーニーズNYがあり、ロデオドライブの路面店では在庫切れの物などが、あったり日本では高いLAのカジュアルブランドがあったりして、重宝しました。また、ここにはよく有名人も出没するとのこと。 部屋はシングルだたせいか、以外と狭くホテルライフを楽しむという感じではなかった

Wij hebben hier drie nachten geslapen met onze familie (2 volwassenen en twee kleine kinderen. Mooie ruime kamer met lekkere badkamer met prima douche (in bad), verder prima bar en lekker terrasje aan Rodeo Drive voor een drankje of ontbijt. Ontbijt voor Amerikaanse norm lekker. Bij de receptie staan PC's voor gratis internet en de valetparking werkt goed (let op de parkeerkosten werden achteraf in rekening gebracht). Wij hadden een prima prijs/kwaliteit in dit hotel.

The Hotel was situated in an very chic area without being way too expensive.The rooms are modern and nice. The downside of the hotel is that it does not offer breakfast and the restaurant at the lobby was too expensive.

We stayed at the luxe hotel as a part business and part pleasure stay in L.A. I must say that this small hotel in the middle of Berverly Hills have their concept perfected. Clean rooms that have a great intererior decoration and a VERY service minded personal. Perfecy location.
