There were some hidden fees with our stay. The condition of the room wasn't stellar, and the appeal of the interior was lacking.

The service is not so great. The rooms are ok. Plenty of parking. Expect a big resort fee which doesn't make sense to me at all. If I knew that there was a hefty resort fee I wouldn't have picked this place. Do they even realize that this place is not a resort???

The hotel was good. I only spent four hours total in the room sleeping. If the room was not attractive, I really didn't notice with my eyes shut. The shower worked great, still had hot water in the morning, the bed linens were clean, and connected to the casino. I spent my entire visit at the casino/hotel, did not have to leave to eat or anything. The restaraunts were good, had a great variety from fast food outlets, to a nice seafood spot, buffet and Starbucks! It really is where the locals play, therefore there was low key activity for serious gamblers.

We really wanted to like this place in spite of the extra amenities fees. I'm not a picky person and have traveled the world, but in Las Vegas I expect a quiet room, a comfortable bed, and safe food. Unfortunately, we got none of these things. The walls were paper thin and you could hear every person coming down the halls, neighbors talking in the next room, maids pushing carts and knocking on doors. Pretty uncomfortable beds and pillows. And topped it all off with food poisoning from the hotel buffet. So sad. We will never be back and will never recommend this place.

Texas Station is a great hotel, especially for the price!

My family and I normally stay at our timeshare which was booked, but this was a great experience. My boyz are 24, 17 and 14. They really enjoyed the movie theater, bowling alley and game room. My husband and I would definitely stay again. Great price also and we had 2 adjoining rooms.

They were deceptive in their rates, they fail to mention a required fee of $15 for their "mandatory services". That doubled the advertised fee.

The husband and I decided to stay at the Texas on valentines Day with our daughter. Texas offered bowling, movie theater Nd restaurants. For principal and as a thank you to your guest, you should receive something for spending money inside the hotel. We paid full price for bowling, movies, and dinner. I've staid in several hotels in Las Vegas, typically once pee month for date night. Texas was by far the worst! Our room smelled of urine. The mattress were worn and lumpy. Horrible.

The staff wasn't to helpful or friendly ..

Very good for the price. Get a "boarding pass" to get a discount on meals and other items. Worth the drive if you have a vehicle and don't have to be right on the strip.

A $14.95 resort fee was added on when I checked in that was not cool its a nice place I will stay there again but now I know about the fee

I was not happy about a $12.99 charge per day for what was called a resort fee that Hotels.com never notified me about before my reservation. I was charged an extra $43.00 when I checked out

Room was as exected, clean and comfortable in a quiet area of the establishment. Self-parking is free and is just across from Guest Registration. A very adequate place to stay for a night or two for a reasonable price. Property was not subject to the price-gouging taking place for the same time period on The Strip. Anyone looking for reasonably-priced lodging look no further. Save some money, rent a car and stay Off-Strip.

Everything about this place was great. It has so much to do in the hotel itself so aside from sight seeing, you barely have to leave. Really cheap buffets, bowling, movies, etc. I give it a 4 only because of they're ridiculous "resort fee" and the fact that I still haven't received my deposit back 2 days later. Overall, really nice place.

I have never quite figured out why most hotels with 2 Queen sized beds only leave 3 towels in a room made for 4 people. Texas Station leaves you 2 towels, doesn't make any sense. I love to soak in a hot bathtub at night with a book. The bathtub is very roomy and the water very hot, perfect. There are no refrigerators on the first 4 floors so if you are in need of those you must request rooms on the 5th and 6th floor. We were there for a bowling tournament and the center is conveniently located close to the elevator. We had a fantastic time and would stay again, on the upper floors that is!

Room was very good. Austin's was fantastic. Your bowling center is awesome. I thought your blackjack tables weren't enough but being there only 2 days might not be enough time to judge. Your $3 blackjack table was always full, too bad you didn't make a $5 or $10 same type game pretty sure you would have had more play. Just a thought.

We stayed for just a night. It was all good except you have to use your key to activate the air conditioning (kind weird) and room was little noisy and drafty other than that it was an okay stay. We got a great rate on the room!

Texas Station was a stop on our road trip to California. We arrived in the early evening and had to wait for about 15 minutes to check in. There was only one desk agent when we came in, and after a while another came out. They couldn't find our reservation because of a mix up with the name on the account, which is really not that big of a deal, but the front desk agent couldn't be less friendly. She wasn't helpful - she just said, "Call hotels.com." When we got it straightened out with hotels.com she seemed irritated that we asked for the hotel's fax number. After all was said and done, she didn't apologize for the inconvenience. It was not a good start to our stay, but the hotel itself is okay. The rooms were very clean. The Station has everything for family fun - a casino, a movie theater, a bowling alley, a food court, etc. We would have stayed another day if we had the time, just to enjoy all it had to offer. Other than the front desk / check-in experience, we had a good stay.

For the price a good bargain in Las Vegas....breakfast buffet is great for $5 and several good choices for food... Front desk staff is excellent....I stay here often

When I walked into my room and saw a huge roach on the wall....I think a little bit more should have been given other than another room 2 doors down.

Everything except the Resort fee was just fine. An extra $14.50 per night makes the room deal not so good. Won't be staying at Stations again until they build the resort fee into the price of the Room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We stay at the Texas several times a year and have always been happy with our room but this last time when we checked in our bed had no comforter. It is December and it was 40 degrees outside, blankets are a must!! They did bring them right up when I called for them. Also the thermostat kept turning off the heater throughout the night, we were very cold. This is our first issue with this hotel and plan on staying there again later this month. You can't judge a hotel by just one night.

I'm very angry we were charged cleaning fees for the rooms. We were NEVER told this up front. Had we known it we would have went without the room being cleaned each day.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower water pressure was quite low and the grate tot the air intake for the climate control (ten inches away from the shower head) was very dirty and filled with years full of dust. Um, check room 222 for this. The in-room air conditioner was so loud that it required that we keep the television remote control handy to turn up the volume when it kicked in. Really. We ate dinner in the buffet all three nights of our stay and it was the same food, all three nights. The food could have been much fresher as well. Only a couple items on the Chinese table changed. That was disappointing. The housekeeping staff was very friendly although the supervisor knocked on our door as we were preparing to leave - even after we had been given a late checkout by registration and had alerted the housekeeping staff as well. The knock at our door came at a very personal and inopportune time.

My non-smoking room was very smelly, cigarette smoke.

Ther's so much to do. So if you're like me and don't drive, you don't have to go anywhere.
