Hyatt Regency Boston - بوسطن

The hotel was great but did not like having to pay for parking!!

Hotel was a quick walk to the T (tip: use the more populated roads to get back and forth) which put the entire city of Boston within easy reach. Freedom Trail and Boston Common are within walking distance as well. Staff was excellent, hotel was modern, beds were comfortable. Fitness center was very nice with cool towels and free headphones. Pay-per-view movie reception was bad but I called and they refunded the money. Mini-fridge available for a nominal fee - worth it to save lots more money on drinks or food. Good balance between price, location, and amenities!

OK for a hotel. Not so good for the price point. The bathroom was worn out, where the faucet was loose, the tub was over-caulked, the door had rips in the bottom of it (peeled), and the paint was 4 coats deep. Beds were OK, but again for the price point they were sub-standard. Lastly, I could carry a conversation with the room next door or people in the hall without opening the door. Will not likely stay there again.

Seems like a nice place, but room was dusty, returns [vents] were filthy, shower head only pointed down, and sink was mostly clogged. Bed was clean though, and it's in a great location.

I have stayed here a couple of times. Everything is great but I love the gym, stream room and the amazing lap pool!

Great.............Will do it again and use teh same hotel.

The hotel was very nice and the location was good. THe staff was very nice and the breakfast was outstanding. However the room temperature was unacceptable. It was exceptionally hot and uncomfortable and we were unable to sleep for most of the night. When we first arrived we called the front desk and they came to check it out when we went out. When we came back they had raised it to 80. We called again and left and when we came back it was cooler bit still warm. We called again and were told the a/c is not officially on for the rooms and it couldn't be lowered. The hallways however were quite cool so I don't understand...a/c for hallways but not guests? For that price, I should be able to turn it to 50 if I wanted. Also when I went to take a shower in the morning, the soap from the previous guest was still in the soap dish. I could have done without that.

Overall a good place to stay for a short getaway. Alot of attractions are within walking distance of hotel. Trains were also easy to get to. Hotel offered a nice gym and pool area. Hotel offered breakfast free only for one person (had a party of three). Parking should be at a discounted rate while staying at hotel. I would definitely go back.

Friendly and helpful front desk staff, walking distance from Quincy Market, great view. Comfortable and clean rooms. Reasonable and very good breakfast buffet.

Well I booked the hotel through Hotels.Com and I stated in my reservation I needed a room for 3 people. Up came the Lafayette Suite with description of 2 king beds for 3 adults. We get to the hotel we were told that the Lafayette Suites do not have 2 beds only one however, they could send a twin bed up for my daughter who was home from college and has to sleep on a little bed at school so I was not too happy about that. Plus on top of that we had to pay to park. Even though my reservation said 3 Adults 2 King beds we were told that we went through Hotels.com so I had to take that up with them. We were offered nothing else at all. Honestly, though your bell boys and door men and room maids were all very awesome even the man who was at the pool doing the towels helped us find a lost shirt from the night before that was left at the pool so thank goodness for those people which really made your hotel STAND OUT for customer service because the bartender had no personality at all, the front desk well they were not empathetic at all to our room situation, and the man who ran the buffet breakfast on Friday 3/29/13 was so RUDE and we even heard him tell our waiter a man around the corner stop talking get the plates give them a check and get people in and out very rude, we were very uncomfortable after that

Excellent hotel however their restaurant "Avenue" was absolutely horrible with slow service and cold food.

The location was very convenient. One block to subway, two blocks to Boston common, and everything else not far away to walk to. The crab cakes and clam chowder were excellent. Pool and fitness room just right.

Hotel is in a super convenient location with a GREAT gym- full lap pool, plently of cardio and weight equipment. The restaurant was only so so, but there's enough interesting places nearby that you wouldn't need it.

Nice, new property. Good location near Boston Common and walking to lots of restaurants. Can walk to Waterfront activities but probably not in winter - about 20 minute walk. Excellent, helpful concierge and desk staff. The only downside was that the rooms were extremely noisy. Walls were thin. One night the people next door talking in normal voices kept us up...could hear their entire conversation through the wall. Maybe ask if there is a quieter room or floor.

Overall, I thought it was nice... one exception... the refrigeration situation. I didn't realize that with the mini-bar we DID NOT get a refrigerator and if we moved anything in the mini-bar, we would be charged for it. I did go down and see the staff about the charges and they were removed, but I still had to pay an additional $16 for a refrigerator to be brought up as well as tip. So... for a night to refrigerate leftovers, drinks and snacks, I had to pay an additional $20. I thought that was overkill.

Very nice hotel, well located and clean

This hotel is located right next to China Town where you can find some yummy and inexpensive food. The room size is okay, but they do not provide bathrobe. I like the smell of the lobby. However, sound insulation needs to be improve! I can hear people speak in the room with the door locked in the hallway.

We had stayed about 7 years ago. May have been a Hilton. Liked things much better this time. Very clean room. Happy to take a bath. The pool was cleaner as was the entire gym area and locker rooms. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Got a great rate by paying in advance. Would do it again. The neighborhood is very much improved. Lots of foot traffic at night. Great easy to walk to restaurants for family dining. China town is only 2 blocks away.

Service was great, rooms were old and kind of shabby. Food was excessively expensive.

Our stay was awesome. The staff was very accommodating.

It is a little scary to walk around Boton's Financial District on Weekend nights. The hotel is wonderful and it is near 2 or 3 T stations but, I took a taxi to get back at night.

It was all we could hope for. The hotel clean, rooms very comfortable and the service impeccable. We enjoyed cocktails and appetizers in the lounge and stayed for dinner as well. The food was delicious and not overpriced. We would definitely stay at the Hyatt Regency in Boston in the future.

Frankly this was an awful experience. The parking was expensive and the hotel provided no credit to guests; the buffet breakfast was awful (cold french toast, greasy bacon); no one offered us a map of Boston, nor was there any useful information about Boston in our room (we had a child with us, which the hotel knew); we changed our reservation by one day but could not change the weekend which which would have been helpful due to the blizzard and rearranged school schedule in Connecticut; and finally, I chose hotel.com to get a better rate on the hotel room, but I didn't save enough money to make up for the eventual expense of the two nights I spent at the Hyatt Regency. This was definitely not a family-friendly hotel, and I will stay elsewhere the next time I am in Boston.

The hotel is in a great location, a few minutes walk to the Boston Commons. Plenty of great restaurants are in the area. Too bad we only had a couple of days there.

Beautiful hotel, staff was extremely friendly! View from the room was ok, but don't look down, nothing but roof tops and air conditioners. Plus the window leaked when the wind was really howling, not that we noticed until our last morning there ... was a non issue. Otherwise an exceptional experience! Clean, quiet, accessible, close to many great restaurants and T stations. Highly recommended!

We were very happy with our stay,staff very helpful.only drawback was needing to switch elevators to get to the street

My fiancée, myself and our twin 3 year olds went up to the Hyatt in Boston planning on going to a few museums when we were hit with a blizzard, one that actually shut down the city. We decided to still go and hope for the best. We did not get to do anything outside of the hotel but we made do. The pool was great as well as the fitness area. The staff was so helpful. We hasn't planned on having to eat every meal at the hotel , which like most hotels is quite expensive and didn't really have much my kids would eat. We ate the first morning and the staff was great. Later that evening (when the snow started shutting down the city one staff member recognized us and we had mentioned that we weren't sure if we could find somewhere open to feed the kids and he went out in the snow to check out a few blocks to see if he could find anything. He then came back and gave us free fruit and yogurt cups hoping to help(which he did) i really wish I got his name because he was great. Only complaints would be that parking is outrageous and the bathroom was super tiny and the door always slammed into the shower curtain rod opening the door. Other than that very happy.

Lobby is nice but rooms are just not up to par with what you'd expect from a Hyatt Regency.

The Hyatt obviously did everything they could to make sure we'd have a good stay even though the storm had us stuck inside. The staff couldn't leave either, so they stayed over and somehow kept their wonderful attitudes all through the weekend. Thanks, Hyatt!

Needed a place to stay in Boston during last weekend's blizzard, and the Hyatt was amazing. They were extremely well staffed and everyone who worked there was kind, helpful, polite, and made being stuck in a hotel an enjoyable experience. They had obviously planned ahead to make sure that guests would have all the services we needed, and that planning made for a very comfortable stay. Kudos to the hotel!

Loved it and are planning an annual trip.

Perfect location to take granddaughter to Wang Center for concert. Service and cleanliness was fine. Pool was a big plus. Quick breakfast self service from bar area very convenient.
