The hotel was stunning....The service non existent and the rudest I have experienced at any Hotel in my life.... We stayed at many in France and this is not the norm thankfully...

A lovely hotel. Great location and decor. Rooms are lovely. Restaurant was worth a visit too as the food was fantastic.

The hotel is centrally located in easy walking distance to train station, beach , shopping, and restaraunts and sights. The hotel was beautiful and the staff very polite and helpful. Very comfortable. I would highly recommend the hotel as a place to stay in Nice.

Hotel general service specialy in Bar and Lloby was terrible .

This is the best luxuary hotel for the price you will find in Nice. It is in a great location. The hotel is very unique in a nice way. It is an unforgettable experience. The rooms are fantastatic, large, & comfortable. The breakfast is not that great.

Reserved twin room, we were sent to Double room, could not remake to twin offered another bed in room, this was small foldable suitable at best for young child not for adult, we insisted on chane to twin were told hotell fully booked, staff bordered on rude to uncaring I stayed at reception desk and refused to leave until or reservation was corrected after circa 1/2 hour and 4 different reception staff as eventully given additional room in a fully booked hotel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fabulous hotel, my only comment would that a hotel of this standing should have a Nespresso Coffee machine in every bedroom.

call me foolish but I believe a "5 star" hotel should have more then 1 computer in their "business center", have a larger TV in each room, AND should have a staff that WANTS to be helpful

My wife and I wanted a central French Riviera location and picked Nice....and it was perfect. This hotel in Nice was exactly located close to the train station (10 minute walk) and the restaurants (all around). The room was fine and service quite good. Recommend you leave the hotel for all your meals...too expensive for the value of the meal. The only complaint was that the shower leaked a bit and the handheld shower wand holder broke off the shower wall.

This hotel was 1st class in every way. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were quiet and well maintained and the atmosphere was elegant. It offered features that made the stay more comfortable such as a 120 volt outlet in the vanity area of the bathroom, separate toilet area from vanity, beautiful shower with rain shower feature, a variety of 16 different lotions, shampoos, mouthwash and conditioners to choose from and a very comfortable bed. It was the highlight of our stay in Nice. Thank you Hotels.com for offering this hotel at such a reasonable price.

Interesting spartan nearly all white decor. Great spa. Very expensive restaurant - we avoided it. Request room on the upper floors. Great variety of shampoo-soap-lotions with different scents. Housekeeping does not provide enough towels. Location good but not great - surrounding neighborhood a bit dodgy in the few blocks around hotel. Self park in the nearby garage - cheaper than having the valets park for you. If you're lucky, you can street park at night.

Very romantic hotel to stay in Nice! Our room was alll white, very modern comapared to other hotels in Europe .Not that close to the beach, but close enough . Very nice pool! But it is on the pricier side.

Got an upgrade to a suite on our honeymoon. Excellent new hotel with top level service. Centrally located but not next to the beach. Easily one of the top 3 hotels I have been to.

This was the first stop on our honeymoon in France. The hotel was wonderful- make sure you take time to check out the pool on floor -1. It is not right by the beach but the location was a 5-10 minute walk to just about everything. We took some day trips to nearby locations very easily by using the metro system. The staff @ the hotel was friendly and the entire place was very clean. The breakfast was a little steep at 25 euros p/person. If you have it to spend it looked good but if not you could easily find breakfast at a nearby cafe for around 5 euros p/person. We would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel, in a brilliant location, a few minutes walk to everything in Nice - Sea front, shops, station, lots of resturants. WOW interior design. Very clean, chocolate on the pillow and tomorrows weather forecast nice touches. Also had rose petals on the bed when we first arrived, romantic. Staff spoke very good English as lots of Americans stay at this hotel, which made life easier! A few things to watch out for: They are currently doing major roadworks outside the hotel (I was there 11th-15th July 2011) The drilling/ building work starts at 8am - which is 7am UK time!! All the best rooms are on the road side, so book the cheaper rooms until the roadworks are finished. I couldn't get moved to another room as the hotel was fully booked, so make sure you check this before you book. The Hotel's computer for guest use wasn't working and it didn't get fixed the whole time I was there, so if you need computer access make sure you bring your own device. They have free WiFi access in their lobby. Don't buy breakfast in your room rate. Less than 1 minute walk away wonderful patisseries or cafes serving breakfast for 4 Euors upwards. The hotel breakfast was 25 Euros for a coffee, orange juice and coissant - which is awful value!!

Booking a hotel on-line based on reviews from others and from what you see on a website can always raise some concerns (in comparison to personal recommendations from people you know and who know you), but for a 3rd time in 12 months we were not let down in anyway from using this method on hotels.com. This hotel itself is very clean, looks amazing, once you arrive in the foyer you will see it is clearly a luxury hotel. (Think 4/5* here in Ireland). The staff were very helpful & friendly, rooms were very clean & modern. We chose the Deluxe room, which was very spacious. Just one thing to note is the shower is actually in the bedroom, but divided from it by a glass panel, which has a curtain. Chocolate sweets left on your pillow nightly, mini-bar, a/c, LCD TV, satelite & terrestrial TV stations are some of the main features of our room. One tip, lower the electronic shutters fully when you go to bed as some light will get through the slits next morning and wake you up if not lowered fully....nice to have a lie in when on hols! :-). We did not opt for the breakfast so we cannot comment on the food. The quiet location of this hotel is ideal, situated on a road lined with trees, (very Griffith Ave-esq); just 1 minute walk away from the main shopping street/shopping centre and 'Luas'. 5 minutes walk south to the promenade and 5 minutes walk north to the train station. The 98 bus from the airport will bring you to the Promenade (about €4), you need to get off at the Congres stop and walk up the street opposite this stop and after about 4 minutes you will come to the Victor Boulevard , take a right here and about 1 minute down this street on the left is the hotel. Enjoy!

We had a two-night stay in a standard room at Boscolo Exedra in Nice in April, 2011. Rooms: very spacious and luxorious standard rooms. French balcony to the street. Quiet room with decent blinds. Odd bathroom with separate shower, handbasin in the middle of the room and a sliding door to the toilet puts you in an exposed situation if you're sharing the room with someone else than your girl/boyfriend. Breakfast: very generous and always filled with food, even if you arrive late. Very good assortment with fruit, meat, cheese, pastries, muesli, cornflakes, dark bread, different juices etc. Location: a bit far from everything. Not close to the station or the promenaede or the old town or the marina. Staff: very nice but a bit unattentive.

Having booked with hotel . com frequently I had no hesitation in checking hotels in Nice with a spa ; my wife is recovering from surgery and needed to rest . However , on arrival the spa was closed for refurbishment . If we had known this we would have booked another hotel. Who should we complain to about this ?

I enjoyed my stay at Boscolo, its almost brand new, very clean, huge bed, sheets and pillows are comfy. Location is excellent to shops, cafes and all tourist spots. Its just the housekeeping that i didnt like, they dont refill the bath gels, shampoos etc.. you need to remind them. But everything about this hotel is fab!

5 star service at a four star hotel. While not at the waters edge in Nice the hotel offers superb access to the old town, shopping and the beaches. The rooms are spacious, and the decor is stunning. breakfast is not included and is pricey at €25. The beds are really comfortable however the aircon didnt work or at least we couldnt set it properly. The staff were really helpful, and gave us some great suggestions re food and a great orientation re the local attractions. We were a party of six with luggage to match and there were no complaints. The area is safe close to the main square with no issues re security when walking home late at night. there is a spa which is free to use and is high spec. treatments are extra. Overall a lovely experience, something different and a breath of fresh air, highly recommended

Smukt, nyindrettet hotel med meget venlig, serviceminded og hjælpsom personale. Værelset var nydeligt, rent og generelt som forventet i hotellets prisklasse. Min mor på 83 år, som værelset var bestilt til havde dog nogle få forbehold: Værelset vendte ud til et indre gårdrum, hvorfra det var ikke muligt at se himlen fra vinduet for at få et indtryk af dagens vejr. Desuden var der øverst på denne del af bygningen placeret et ventilations/klimaanlæg som afgav en brummelyd som var generende når man skulle sove. Disse ting hører ikke til i denne prisklasse, men den søde og venlige betjening opvejede dog langt disse forbehold, så alt i alt blev det et rart ophold.

Magnifique hôtel. Qualités de service irréprochable. Acceuil, confort, propreté...tout y est pour un merveilleux séjour. Sans oublier bien sur le spa. Le séjour a été court mais tellement revivifiant . MERCI

Hôtel design idéalement situé dans le centre de Nice; personnel discret et très professionnel; à recommander vivement pour un séjour romantique et zen (l'accès gratuit au spa n'y est pas étranger).

Det var en toppen hotel med mycket god service och bra läge, ända nackdelen var trafiken vi hörde på natten eftersom vårt rum låg mot gatan.

Besökte Nice i december för lite julklappshopping utanför de överfulla turistdestinationerna. Möttes av ett fantassitskt svenskt vårväder. Hotellet är vitt, vitt, vitt. Som blek svensk försvinner man nästan mot väggen. Men läget är fenomenalt för shopping. Nära till de bra butikerna och inte långt till gamla stan. Då man kan få grymma rabatter på hotellrummen i off-season så är Boscolo prisvärt. Men hotellet är överdesignat på gränsen och form övertar emellanåt funktionen. Vill man kunna åtnjuta badrummets privata sfär är detta INTE möjligt på hotellet. Man måste mao känna den man delar rum med väl. Sängarna var sköna. Rummet stort och klimatsystemet behagligt. Vi badade i den (likaledes designade) poolen. Så för att summera hotellet fungerade bra för oss i vintertid, men jag är tveksam om jag skulle välja det för en sommarsemester. Då finns det mer prisvärda och strandnära hotell att välja.

NOTE!! The service in this hotel is NOT according to a 5 star hotel standard! In a 5 star hotel one would expect there to be both an iron in the room, as well amenities to make a cup of coffee or tea! There was hardly any space in the cupboards to hang our clothes. The drain in both the shower and the bathroom sink were clogged. The doors to the rooms are “made of paper”, so any sound in the hallway is heard in the room; and vice versa! The pool in the spa area is hardly a pool, since the water only reaches to the waistline of a grown person. Topping it all, we even had a member of the hotel staff walk in to our room without knocking; unheard of!! This hotel is NOT recommended! OBS! Tjenesten på dette hotellet er IKKE i henhold til en 5-stjerners hotell standard! I et 5 stjerners hotell vil man forvente at det skal være både et strykejern i rommet, samt fasiliteter for å lage en kopp kaffe eller te! Det var knapt noen plass i skap til å henge klærne våre. Avløpet både i dusjen og i badevasken var tett. Dørene til rommene er "laget av papir", så lyder i gangen høres tydelig i rommet, og vice versa! Bassenget i spa området er neppe et svømmebasseng, siden vannet bare rekker seg til hoften til en voksen person. Det toppet seg for oss da en av hotellets personale kom rett inn på rommet vårt uten å banke, uhørt! Dette hotellet er IKKE å anbefale!

Kjempeflott og moderne hotell. Flotte fellesområder, greit lite bade-/spa anlegg og fint rom (superior) med grei størresle. Veldig aktiv, nesten påtrengende service, de fleste snakket greit engelsk. OK beliggenhet, 5 min til handlegata og 10 min til stranda. Eneste minus er dyre tillegg/tjenester. 25 euro for frokost pr. pers. og 15-20 euro i døgnet for internett. Ikke trådløst nett på rommet, kun nettverkskabel i veggen. Bruk av basseng med sauna og dampbad var inkludert.

It is a OK hotel, but nothing more. Unless you are very found of spa treatments or that kind of things, I would not recomend this hotel. It has five stars, but realy isn't more than four. The beds are uncomfortable, the room is average with an "public" toilet, and the shower in the center of the room. It dosen't have english speaking channels and when you go down the hallway, the doors are so badly isolated that you can hear what everybode is doing as you walk along. The hotel is nothing more than ok. My advice is to find another hotel to a better price. Because you are not going to experience any luxury here unless you pay a hole lot more than the cost of an deluxe room!
