Very good

This Hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. Location was good, it was only 10-15 minutes to the beach. I would stay here again.

Crowne Plaza is a beautiful hotel centrally located in Virginia Beach with many amenities that made our stay very comfortable and totally enjoyable. We'll be back!!!

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay--not on the beach but basically 10 minutes drive down the highway--then Crowne Plaza is it. Very nice decor, the rooms are modern with crisp a/c, microwave, small frig, and flat screens. I stayed for a weekend and had a great experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Excellent stay! Staff extremely attentive and friendly. Was upgraded to a corner king suite when my reserved room wasn't ready. Great comfortable room. Bonus was the manager's reception with complementary wine, beer, cheese and crackers, and cooked to order stirfry!! Offers a shuttle to the Town Center to all the shops and restaurants. Five star stay.

Room service is good. I think they just remodeled the room, it is missing light bulb and hair dryer. When I called the front desk, they sent someone to bring to us right away. Even at night time.

Over all I was kinda disappointed because I wasn't by the ocean like I asked and thought I would be I still enjoyed my stay. I loved the 8th floor nothing put pure quietness just how I like it. Beautiful room, huge beds just pure perfection. Didn't have any trouble with customer service, everything was just awesome. Definitely will be back to visit in July!!!

Great, except I was disappointed they removed both the hot tub in the pool area and the jacuzzi tubs in the rooms. Lots of rennovations going on, the lobby was a wreck. Other than that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, very close to town center, and staff is friendly.

The hotel was old, dirty, and being renovated, so there was a lot of noise at times. Hotel was on the freeway, and the rooms on the freeway side were very noisy. Neighborhood was sketchy. Beds were comfortable and staff was great.

Close to Town Center & Very good restaurants & brew house. Area was clean & appeared safe. Also saved 100.00 on a 2 day stay. Thanks for asking. R. Stanton

This has got to be the best kept secret in Virginia Beach. The staff are friendly and just great. The food in the resturant was wonderful. We will stay there again.

everything was great. Room was very big and clean. Close to shopping.

Terrible. The first room I stepped into the heater was rattling so badly I returned to the front desk for a new room. The second room I went into smelled like a brothel. House keeping had sprayed so much perfume into the room my eyes nearly watered. I walked into the third room I was given only to discover house keeping had left the heat on, so the room was boiling. It was so hot I turned off the heat for the rest of the night. DO NOT stay here.

I'm mad about the indoor pool and most of the hotel being under construction that's something I would have liked to know before booking the room. Plus the room was slightly outdated

The first night of our stay was terrible because we could not get ANY sleep. A local radio station had an event, and the party was extended on to the hotel room floors. We complained to the front desk, however it did not do much good. The following night was a lot quieter. Our room didn't seem to be cleaned properly because there were rose petals on the floor BOTH days we stayed. I am pretty sure we will not stay there again.

The only bad thing was the hot tub was not working. They are updating hotel and when done it should really be nice. Was well worth what I paid.

A WONDERFUL EXPIERENCE....JUST WONDERFUL : )

This is a slightly dated hotel that looks like it is currently undergoing renovations. Peeling paint and clear signs of roof damage were unsightly. Wires running about the doors didn't thrill me, nor did the smell of fresh paint near the banquet rooms. I do not know how long these improvements will take but when it is done it should be great. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable. The bar closed way too early on a Saturday evening...before 12! The front desk staff was friendly and informative.

My wife and I had made a great escape from the kids for our 10 yr anniversary. We were pleased with our hotel stay and really want to thank Brendan for helping out. He upgraded our room and helped me out with a dry cleaning issue. Over all a good time was had.

We had a great overnight stay at the Crowne Plaza. Friendly staff and spacious, clean, comfortable room at a great rate! Breakfast room service took about 45 minutes, but it was worth the wait. We'll be back!

certainly not like staying at the Ritz or Four Seasons, but I made do, and staying on the 8th floor kept me away from the scary looking people with mullet hairdos ... and provided good views too.

The only issue I had with the hotel was the bartender. I placed an order for two drinks, received half of my order then she served 12 others while I was still waiting. I left without my order being complete and paid full price....no appology.....nothing. The hotel service and cleanliness was wonderful.

Staff very friendly

We stayed at this hotel the night before our cruise. The service and room was wonderful. The only issue we had, was we ordered Oyster Rockefeller off the menu, and a few minutes later, the kitchen called back and said they didn't have anymore...

Centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Easy to get in and out of and plenty of parking. The staff was very helpful. Nice rooms and very clean. Enjoyed the stay very much.

Overall, nice hotel in convenient location. However, there were several families staying on our floor who, unfortunately, were using the hotel as if they were at home. Kids were running up and down the hallway most of the evening, and we had to call down to the front desk twice to ask them to address the issue. It was finally addressed, but we would have appreciated them addressing it the first time it was brought to their attention. Other than that, clean rooms with nice amenities as a business traveler.

Found the the hotel surprisingly better than expected. Staff was very friendly and eager to please. Room more than adequate. Was told the hotel was due to undergo complete renovation, but thought minor maintenance would have been sufficient. Very satisfied.

The Crowne Plaza has a friendly and extremely accommodating staff. Room, lobby, and property are always clean and maintained.

This is an average motel with good employee's. It is not close to the beach and if you look, you can find beach front at the same or less price. If you are going for the beach, this is not your place to stay. WiFi worked good. No breakfast unless you wanted to go to their restaurant.
