Comfort Hotel Bolivar - روما

يعتبر هذا الفندق وصمة عار!! لقد حجزنا في هذا الفندق عبر الإنترنت (غلطة كبيرة) وكنا نعتقد أننا حجزنا فندق 4 نجوم إلا أننا بدلاً من ذلك وجدنا كوخ قذر دون المستوى تمامًا. حصلنا على المفتاح وتم توجيهنا إلى الدور الأول بجوار غرفة بها كلب لا يكف عن النباح!! وأدركنا فورًا أن هذا الفندق رديء، فنزلنا إلى الدور السفلي للشكوى، فقاموا بنقلنا إلى غرفة أخرى في نفس الدور إلا أننا لازلنا نسمع بها نباح الكلب لأن الغرفة تبعد فقط مسافة بسيطة عن الغرفة الأولى. بالإضافة إلى أن باب الغرفة لا يغلق جيدًا، ومساحة الغرفة لا تتعدى صندوق أحذية، ومظلمة، ورطبة، وقذرة جدًا مما أصابنا بخيبة أمل. ولم يتوفر بالغرفة أي وسائل لصنع الشاي أو القهوة، ولم تتوفر أيضًا ثلاجة. وكان الحمام صغير ورائحته كريهة، بالإضافة إلى وجود قطع صابون قليلة شكلها غير لائق على الحوض الصغير القديم. ولا يوجد دش منفصل، يوجد فقط رأس دش لا تعمل جيدًا، بالإضافة إلى المياه الفاترة. فالغرفة كانت دون المستوى وتذكرنا بالفنادق رخيصة الأسعار، فالفندق كله حالته سيئة. ولذلك لا أوصي بهذا الفندق مطلقًا، فإذا كنت تفكر في حجز هذا الفندق لا تفعل!! فإنه لا يستحق كل هذا المال، فقد صرفنا الكثير من المال إلا أنه فندق قذر بطريقة لا يمكن تصورها!!

موقع الفندق ممتاز والغرفة كانت جيدة ولكن رائحتها كانت سيئة قليلاً.

كان يتم إصلاح التكييف الموجود في غرفتنا عند وصولنا، فتم تقديم مشروب مجاني أثناء انتظارنا لعدة دقائق. إلا أنهم عرضوا علينا غرفة أصغر أو غرفة في فندق آخر أو الانتظار حتى يتم إصلاح التكييف في غرفتنا الأولى. وعند عودتنا كان قد تم إصلاح التكييف، بالإضافة إلى أن الغرف كانت صغيرة قليلاً، ولكننا لم نسافر إلى روما لقضاء وقتنا في الغرفة. وكانت كابينة الدش بلا باب مما جعل الاستحمام محرجًا. وكان الفندق يقع في شارع هادئ إلا أنه قريب من كل مناطق الجذب الرئيسية والمحلات. وسعدنا جدًا باختيار وجبة الإفطار، وسوف نحجز هذا الفندق مرة أخرى بالتأكيد.

فندق صغير رائع ولطيف يقع في شارع مسدود في نهايته لذلك لا تتعرض لكل ضجيج حركة المرور في الشوارع الرئيسية. موقع الفندق رائع وقريب من كل المواقع الرئيسية كما يمكن الوصول إليه والخروج منه بسهولة. الغرف وخاصةً الحمام صغير قليلاً ولكنه كان أمرًا مقبولاً. أود الإقامة هناك مجددًا (بالرغم أنه ليس من الضروري أن يكون الفندق رخيصًا نظرًا لسعر الصرف من الدولار لليورو.).

أحببنا إقامتنا في Hotel Bolivar. فموقع الفندق ممتاز ووجوده في شارع رئيسي مغلق جعل الوصول إلى أي مكان أمرًا سهلاً دون ضوضاء الشوارع المزدحمة. فهو يقع في شارع مسدود صغير ويحتوي على مطعم صغير خيالي في الشارع. كانت الغرفة صغيرة قليلاً ولكنها مريحة جدًا، كان الإفطار رائع يتكون من بيض مخفوق وبيض مسلوق ولحم خنزير، الخ. قد نعود مرة أخرى بالتأكيد. موظفو مكتب الاستقبال متعاونون وودودن.

During our five night stay, we were happy with this hotel because the staff was, overall, quite friendly and helpful and the location is unbeatable. The breakfast buffet was very good and is served on a rooftop location with nice views. We would recommend that you insist on a room above the ground floor. As noted in other reviews of this hotel, some rooms on the ground floor are simply in an unacceptable condition. To their credit, the staff was responsive to our complaints when we were placed in one. The hotel would be well served to convert these rooms into an expanded public space, since the lobby is of limited dimensions and it is difficult to imagine an American guest finding such a room acceptable for the price. That said, this is, overall, a great hotel that offers many of Rome's most attractive destinations within walking distance. A lovely restaurant is situated across the courtyard from the hotel, and another that features very acceptable pasta dishes and pizza for reasonable prices is only five steps further away. Highly recommended, if you get an acceptable room.

Best of the best, great hotel, wonderful staff and the perfect location for seeing Rome in all it's glory. Room and view was excellent, comfortable. Great breakfast would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the eternal city, definitely would stay there again

Small and quaint hotel. The room was very small, but nothing unusual for Rome. the breakfast is served on the top floor of the hotel and has a beautiful view. The coffee is outstanding. The service was great....

good hotel for those who spend most of the day outside the hotel.

Everything was wonderful. The room was spacious the breakfast was more than substancial, cleanliness was great all in all I would stay there over and over again except for the front desk day (clerk) he had sticky fingers. He was not to be trusted....

A small hotel tucked away within easy walking to Trevi fountain and most other sites. If you are lucky to have a room on top floor they have small patios attached that make the room very appealing.

Fantastic location..surrounded by all the historical sights. Able to walk to everything. Wonderful breakfast on 4th floor. Quiet and peaceful.

Teh Hotel Bolivar is located very centrally in Rome. It is on a very quiet street - really a dead end. teh rooms are very small, even by European standards. But, it was fairly clean, though it could use some updating. The staff at the front desk was helpful in recommending local restaurants.

Having looked at lots of photos of this hotel I was anticipating a room that would be of a good standard. The room we were given was ok ... functionable at best. We soon realised that all the rooms on the first floor were not of the same standard as the rooms on the other floors and that are room was probably just a standard room and the others superior. When we were booking we were not given a choice. The actual location of the hotel is fabulous; near to all the main sites and it is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. The breakfast room on the roof terrace is lovely and there is plenty of choice and enough to enjoy a good breakfast. All in all, the hotel is good and I would recommend it as long as you get booked into one of the superior rooms.

We booked the hotel with two other sets of friends so we could be in the same hotel. The hotel had some issues with power on one of the floors so they could not accommodate all of us. One of the couples were given the grossest room I've ever seen (think seedy no-tell-motel complete with stains) while two of the other rooms were re-booked into another hotel over a mile away. The hotel we were re-booked to was still under renovation and did not have a working elevator which might not have been bad if we were not on the 5th floor. The point of booking was to be in the neighborhood together to make meeting up for meals and tours easier. Overall, it wasn't a great experience and was very inconvenient. There was no attempt to contact us early in the day so we could make other arrangements or to move our entire group. I realize there are things beyond the hotel's control, but a little effort and an apology would have been nice.

First time in Rome I was apprehensive and when the cab pulled up in an alley and the driver said thats it, i felt ill but this quaint lttle hotel was so warm and inviting it was a joy to stay there, from the conceirge to the house maid and the brakfast lady they were brilliant the breakfast was great sittting on the roof top breakfast room surrounded by history was such a thrill. The rooms probably by Australian standards were small but we only slept there because your in ROME, it was comfortable clean well heated , bathroom was great, everything was great

The room itself, while we were barely in it, was a little outdated and had an old room smell to it. The service was prompt and friendly but there's a hole in the middle of the foyer that I nearly broke my ankle on. The hotel is on a quiet block and is only a stone's throw away from Piazza Venezia and a 10 minute walk to the colosseum. However, it isn't really near any of the subway stops, but is near a few bus lines if you know how to use them. I would keep looking for another hotel.

Great location. Close to everything. Quiet neighborhood. No problem with the taxi finding the way, althought I was a bit worried when he drove the back streets there. The desk staff were excellent. I would definitely suggest this hotel.

This hotel was very central with most of the main sights only 5 - 10 minutes away. Staff were helpful. We would use this hotel again.

Hotel Bolivar was a very comfortable and relaxing hotel in the heart of Rome. It was a bit difficult to locate at first as we walked from the subway station, but being tucked away in its off the street location is what made the hotel very relaxing as there was no street noise at all. All of the must see things in Rome were within walking distance. Just around the corner was a nice Irish Pub that had many different draft beers and was also very relaxing (Corks Inn & Pub). The room was comfortable, with good air conditioning. Bathroom had a tub and shower, but was a little tight, otherwise all was good. Breakfast was on the top floor and had a good view. Breakfast was typical European, with breads, cheeses, ham/salami and cereals, the coffee was hot & good.

Although a little confusing to find at first, the hotel was really well situated - between ancient Roman sights Trevi fountain. It was quaint and small with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good up in the dining room on the 3rd floor. The rooms were small, but clean and air-conditioned, and the bed was comfortable. The only negative was the bathroom which was really small and old with dodgy plumbing - but we were told that they are in the process of upgrading and after peeking into one of the new rooms they definitely have been improved.

nice hotel and near to bus for sight seeing. flloors were linoleum rather than carpeting which i saw were said to be soiled in previous comments. hotel is clean good breakfast.. staff very helpful. elevator available also.

The room is rather small, carpet is old, can't even tell if it's being vacuumed but the room has everything you need. We stayed there for 4 nights. The staff is friendly and helpfull. The best thing about this hotel is location. 10 to 20 minutes walking distance to major attractions: trevi fountain, pantheon, colloseum, spanish steps etc. Yes, we would recommend this hotel.

Small hotel located on a quiet street in a nice neighborhood. It was accessible to the major attraction sights. We felt safe walking back from the Trevi Fountain at night. The building was old but well maintained, the room was small as expected but very clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast room had a nice roof top view and the food was amazing. We will stay there again if we go back to Rome.

We were staying in Rome for only one night after 2 weeks in Sorrento. The person at the front desk was great helping us to find a few of the important sights to see in Rome before our departure the next day as well as helping us find a good place for dinner. The room was small and clean. Breakfast was ok, not great but sufficient. We would stay there again. EXCELLENT location.

4 star hotel it is not. room for 4 was not fit for the purpose,far too small,particularly for the price charged.not recommended.

The hotel is located in a small alley in the heart of Rome. At first the alley setting was somewhat unappealing but the alley itself was clean and safe and sequesters the hotel away from the street noise. There is a quaint restaurant directly across from the hotel in the same alley. The bathroom fixtures in our room (#101) needed updating but otherwise the room and bed were clean and comfortable. Our daughter slept on a sofa bed in the same room. Complimentary breakfast (scrambled eggs, pastry, fresh fruit, etc) is offered daily in a third floor room with breathtaking views of the city. The hotel is centrally located and is a short (<0.5 mi) walk to major attractions and the subway and seeing the vatican and coliseum, the imperial senate, the vatican and a few other ruins in the same day was possible. The staff was friendly and helpful and arranged a car to the airport for us that was less than the prevailing taxi rate. I highly recommend the Hotel Bolivar.

This hotel was extremely well located, close to all the tourist attractions. The hotel was located down a quiet road. Our room was located on the ground floor close to the reception desk which was quite noisy in the morning but this was unfortunate as most rooms were located on the other floors. Breakfast was adequate, not superb but fine. The room was clean and bigger than most hotels in Rome. Because of the location and room size, I would recommend this hotel. Watch taxis in Rome, always get them to put on the meter and there are set prices for taxis to and from the airports.

Love this cute little hotel! Tucked in a cobble stone drive way that give a sense of privacy and what great about it is the hotel is walks away to major tourist sites. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly. Breakfast is not great but not bad either.... sufficient. We only stay one night so not much more can be said. We would stay here again.

hotel location was our primary objective. the hotel is only 5-15 minutes walk to most attractions. pleasent atmosfere and extremely quiet. it has a country feeling within the city. a nice breakfast is served on a lovely rooftop restaurant. the only drawback was that the room was too small. I certainly recommenad the hotel

Hotel Bolivar was what we expected from previous reviews - I would say, a diamond in rough! It certainly was a gem of a location, you can walk to most sites of interest, and Peter (Hotel Manager) was the man who knew everything. The rooms could do with a facelift, but we weren’t in them long enough to worry………...go see Rome!! Couple in 70s and 80s

Having been advised by a friend to spend a little extra on a hotel in Rome in order to get closer to the centre, and a bit more comfort, I wasn't disappointed with choosing Hotel Bolivar. On arrival, we had to wait about 20 minutes or so while they got our room ready, but we were about 4 hours earlier than the allowed check-in time, so 20 minutes wasn't going to put us out! The room was small, but clean (important), and I have to agree with some other travellers about the shower curtain, having to try and not create a swimming pool when you're showering is a little challenging! Breakfast was absolutely fine - standard continental buffet, but lots of food to be had, and the view from the breakfast room itself on the top floor was superb, worth 2 of the star rating alone. You're within walking distance of nearly everything - 5 minutes to Roman Forum, 7-8 minutes to Trevi Fountain & on to Spanish Steps, shopping, restaurants, museums. There's a really nice restaurant just down the way from the hotel as well, off a side street to the right of Via Nazionale as you're heading down the hill. Lovely food, great espresso's! If you're looking for 5-star plush setting, Hotel Bolivar may not be the place for you. But if you're looking for somewhere central, with clean, comfortable rooms, and heplful and friendly staff (who couldn't help us enough when asked), then I would definitely recommend Hotel Bolivar.

Really quiet hotel in the backyard of the backyard of the middle of Rome. Not even seen on Google streetview. Short walking distance to all tourist traps. Will be back soon.

Hadde et fint opphold i Roma. Hotellet lå i nærheten av alt. Hadde Via Nationale rett ved, noe som var positivt og negativt mht støy. Vi var en familie på 4, og fikk et dobbeltrom med to ekstrasenger i. Rommet var lite, og trangt. Aircondition virket ikke særlig, og da det var mye støy fra trafikk var det uholdbart å ha vinduet oppe. Det ble temmelig varmt i rommet på natta. Ellers var det rent og servicen var god. Frokostbuffeten var enkel, men grei nok. Fin utsikt fra frokostrommet. Personalet var veldig behjelpelig med alt.

Excelente localização. O hotel funciona bem. Recomendo a todos.

Rommet var klamt - luktet mugg/gammelt, hadde fuktige og slitte vegger og slitt vegg til vegg teppe på gulvet. Badet har ikke vært pusset opp/vedlikeholdt på en stund så det ut til. Det var ikke varmt vann i dusjen. Vi ba om dobbeltseng i bestillingen, men fikk to enkeltsenger plassert sammen, greit nok det. AC viften bråkte forferdelig og viftene var urene. Hotellet har to pluss-sider; koselig frokostsal i øverste etasje med utsikt over nabolaget, og beliggenheten er ypperlig ift gangavstand til de aller fleste severdighetene.

Svært fornøyd med oppholdet, svært hyggelig betjening på hotellet og stor god frokost. Vi gikk til Coloseum 10 min, Trevi fontenen 10 min, Spansketrappen 10 min og Vatikanet 40 min langs små koselige gater i gamlebyen.

personnel très gentil, excellente situation dans la ville, mais hôtel vieillissant à rénover, et plomberie aléatoire

Ett hotell som ligger bra till alla sevärdheter. Rent och trevlig personal. Men definitvt inget 4 stjärnigt hotell!!! Bilderna stämmer inte med verkligheten. Glad pack över ost och skinkan på frukostbordet mm. Vi undrar vem som har bedömt detta som ett 4 stjärningt hotell.

Hotellet ligger veldig fint til med gangavstand til det meste av severdigheter i Roma. Dette var mitt andre opphold på hotellet, kommer gjerne igjen. Hyggelig betjening. God frokost.

Gute Lage.Ruhig. Aber falls man mit mehr als einem Rucksack anreist, kann man sich im Zimmer nicht mehr bewegen.
