Staff was friendly and room was recently remolded and clean. But the property has limited parking and you can experience delays due to car recovery.

The hotel was under construction or renovation so it was in a bit of a mess. The over night valet parking fee was never mentioned up front until they had my vehicle parked. The bathroom did not have a door on it which made it difficult when rooming with a coworker to have privacy.

very noisey ans small

Great location but rooms are very small. Also, a lot of noise from construction, the streets, and elevators.

Great Location, you get what you pay for...they were doing renovations when we were there so it must be getting better!

Hotel room smelled really bad. The pillows were all super thick and hard as rocks. my neck still isn't right from that stay. I stayed there once before years ago and didn't realize I booked at the same place. They make is sound sound close to convention center and attraction. Although it is within walking distance. Its a miserable uphill walk for many blocks to get back. not knocking Best Western, but Ive stayed at nicer Motel 6's for a fraction of the cost.

Everything looked OK upon our arrival, so we put our luggage down and went out on the town. Upon returning, we noticed the ceiling leaking in the bathroom, probably from the tub upstairs, which resulted in the bathroom floor being all wet. Then, upon pulling back the sheets of both beds, we saw that they hadn't been cleaned--pubic hairs!!! Despite all this, they were quick to give us a new room, and offered to help with our luggage. The new room was more expensive, but they didn't charge us any more, so we ended up getting a nicer room out of the deal.

I thought this hotel was exactly what was described. Not a 5 star but clean comfortable and so convenient. Its a 7 minute walk to the hotspots which is enough time to wear off some of the calories consumed honky tonkin! Going through renos but didnt affect us at all. Breakfast was good enough and was always enough served. Will stay here again. Only fyi was that there is a charge for valet parking but even that worked out ok cause you never had to worry bout where to park.

It was clean, and currently being remodeled, so it is probably better now. The people were nice, breakfast was actually really good but it is a VERY dated OLDER hotel. If you are looking for something reasonable in the downtown area- within walking distance to most everything- this is it- If you are looking for plush posh - go elsewhere- would we stay again? Yes. We didn't spend time in the room- we used it as a place to sleep and shower, so for those purposes, it was perfect!

Good location, clean rooms, affordable, you can swim next door at the Sheraton if you sneak in..

I was very pleased with the location. It was within walking distance of everything in the downtown area. Extremely nice, helpful employees. Great continental breakfast. Reasonable rates. I would definately recommend.

The room was clean to the eye but outdated and musty. It was OK for just staying two nights but next time I would pay a little more money to have a nicer room.

I'm pretty laid back. Easy to please. I have no complaints.

fair due to construction price was right

Overall, it was a good stay. My friends came to visit for the weekend and we just needed a place to stay for the night. The room was clean and it was nice being close to downtown. The only downside is that we called for towels a couple times and they were never brought to us and a fuse blew in our room and it took almost a half hour for maintenance to get the power back on in our room. Maybe just a fluke but that was kind of a letdown considering how much they charge for their rooms.

The room was rather small. Considering the age of this hotel it was not a bad place to stay. It was fairly close to where we wanted to be so this made up for a lot that was lacking at this hotel for our stay.

The room was clean and the staff were helpful. The walls of the room were thin and we were next to the staircase and the elevator, so we heard noise from that all night. We stayed a Friday night and it was downtown Nashville, so it was pretty noisy as guests returned late to their rooms.

There are renovations going on and the dumpster company decided to deliver a new dumpster at 4:30 AM right under my room. If you are street side, the traffic noise is noticeable.

The cable didn't work my entire stay and they couldn't fix it.

Easy walk from Broadway. Staff friendly and accommodating - always very helpful. Hotel under renovations so should look nicer when completed. Would definitely stay there again. Continental breakfast very generous.

they were into renovation so there was some noise and the hotel is very old , but was ideal for our needs. the breakfast was good and the staff very accommodating ., best of all the price was right.

The hotel set up made me feel uncomfortable. The hotel did not do a good job of monitoring and controlling the all night long slamming of doors on the various floors. I stayed on floor 3 and it seemed that when someone slammed a door at 3 am it shook the whole hotel. I also did not feel comfortable with the main window of my hotel room being the only barrier between me and anyone who would want to break in during the day or night. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable and the sheets and blankets did not seem to keep me warm enough at night. I am going to spend the extra money to stay somewhere else the next time I am in Nashville.

Overall it was a very nice stay however the walls are paper thin or the people next door were extremely loud. Got little sleep but beds were very comfortable

The hotel is a motel. Location is good, however the walls are like paper and you hear every word/sound from the neighboring rooms. The room is ok but does not fit with the price. I recommend to pay a little more and go to the one of the 'real' hotels!

The hotel was nice it served it purpuse. Location was great we could walk to where we needed to be. Everyone was super nice and helpfull. I would stay there again.

Great location!

I've stayed at this hotel before and thought it was fine. This time I was only in town for the night while on my way home from a holiday roadtrip. This hotel is fine to stay in if you're not going to spend a lot of time there. It basically does the job if you need a clean place to stay and a hot shower. The valet and front desk workers were nice and friendly. It's located within walking distance to everything downtown. For the price I would recommend it.

I chose this hotel based on location and convenience. After reading almost all of the reviews prior to booking let me help the next guest: Book this with motel the proper expectations. This is not a five star, nor can you expect the amenities of some of the finer chains. But this is a clean, well managed motel that is perfect for the traveler that doesn't plan to spend much time in their room. If you are looking to explore Nashville and be close to Broadway without spending money for the frills you most likely will never use - this is your place. They do have a small gym and offer a basic breakfast at no charge, so you're not completely without. Parking is also very reasonable at only $10/night as opposed to some surrounding hotels charging closer to $30. I'm a seasoned traveler, and while I love the plush offerings of the Ritz and that white cloud of a bed, this is a very reasonable choice for those on a budget that aren't expecting spa treatment.

Old and shabby - couldn't wait to leave...dark and depressing, outside access to rooms, elevator interminably slow - 5 - 6 block walk to music in an area that I didn't feel safe in.

Room was good for a couple nights stay. Close to downtown but 3 or 4 blocks away from broadway area. Noisy at night. Was kept awake by noisy elevator and loud people moving around outside hotel. All rooms are outside entry so it leaves it easy for there to be noise. Was on 4th floor and could hear everything from above us. It was ok for a few days stay but would not do a lengthy stay here.

The hotel was sufficient but don't believe we will stay there again. Left a lot to be desired - but realize you get what you pay for.

Great location but parking is a challenge if you don't want to pay to park at the hotel.

Hotel was Convenient, Clean and a Good Price for being located in Downtown Nashille. It met my criteria!

This hotel was clean but was very dated. Definitely needs a makeover, but for the price was ok. Little farther from Broadway than expected.

This is not an hotel but a motel. So when you know that, you should not have any surprise. What does that means *motel* ? This means that there's a lot of noise during the evening because différent kind of people are there. It means that the room are not really confortable, towels not confortable, room smells motel... Breakfast: fat and not really good, in an old room... But the localisation is great, you can visit everything by walk. The price is OK for the quality. Frontdesk can also reserved tour for you with Grayline inc.

They charge $10.93 per day to park in their lot. This is not something they tell you up front. Otherwise, the hotel was clean and mostly up to date. The free breakfast is pretty good too. I will stay in this hotel again when visiting the beautiful city of Nashville.

far cheaper than other options, but as noted in other reviews, it has a motel feel, with passageways on balconies rather than enclosed hallways. Very dated interiors. Clean rooms.
