Surfside Beach Resort - سيرفسايد بيتش

I was on a fishing trip with 5 other guys when we stayed here. Great hotel plenty of bars and places to eat within walking distance.

I really like this hotel b/c it's not surrounded by other hotels, instead its "neighbors" are privately owned beach houses. Parking and access to the beach is great, the hotel is clean and relatively updated, and the people are nice. If you just want a stay on the beach, this is place!

not enough elevators, great location, scottys beach bar is great, not enough elevators, neil and pams next door is cool, overall, i would stay again.

The reviews posted here previously helped me decide to choose Surfside Beach Resort. I was not disappointed. We even got a room near the elevator and it wasn't bad at all. My only disappointment was there was no balcony on our room. It was a very nice stay and I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Would suggest this to anyone. I thought we were very well located to the beach, resturants, and other attractions.

The hotel was nice, clean, and in a wonderful, quiet location. The maid service was slow, and it was difficult to get clean towels in a timely manner. The shower above ours leaked into our shower when in use. The swimming pool was freezing, but at least the hot-tub was warm! It's location on the beach was perfect, and we loved our view! Overall, we were satisfied.

Very nice. No problems. Requested a roll away bed since we had one more than expected. They were very accommodating and did not charge for the bed or the extra guest.

No complaints here! Housekeeping did a great job every day, great location to the beach, food and adult beverage..all within walking distance. We were there to look for our retirement home in the Murrells Inlet area, and found everyone to be so friendly!

We just returned from a 5 day stay at Surfside Resort and absolutely loved it. The housekeeping ladies were fantastic and always gave us our privacy, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located right on the ocean with plenty of places to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner within 2 walking minutes. I also liked being close enough to Myrtle to go to attractions there, but far enough away to avoid the overcrowded streets and beach. The pier is a beautiful place to start your morning with a sunrise, right outside of the hotel. The kids loved fishing there too! I only wish we could have stayed longer. :)

Just what we were looking for. Clean, comfortable, on the beach away from the crowds. Service was quick and efficient with a touch of down-home friendliness. Surrounded by beach homes but resturants (simple) and bars within walking distance. Short drive to the RT17 galaxy of attractions and food/souviner lenders.

See they have remodeled the place which was good. Great location to stay. The resort has nice pool area, good food directly around the resort as well as a good restaurant on the premises. The only thing that was disappointing is the restaurant that was on the pier shutdown, that is a bummer, food was great. This resort is a 4/5 in my book. I have been coming to this resort for many years.

this area of myrtle is away from all the high rises, and has less crowds than the heart of myrtle. Nice casual restaurants walking distance from hotel. Right on the beach, and most rooms have view of the ocean.This hotel was a Days Inn, but has been remodeled some and in my opinion is a bit nicer now.

We loved Surfside. Great location. Clean, modest rooms at an affordable price. Helpful staff. We will be back!

Inside of hotel has been recently renovated - they are still working on the outside. Was pleasantly surprised when I entered the lobby. This is an excellent hotel for the money - GREAT location - away from all the hustle but not too far away. 4 restaurants/bars in the immediate area. Will definitely stay here again and recommend. Only slight complaint was the elevators took forever

We were disappointed that there was no breakfast available. We were told that the hotel had experienced a kitchen fire last year and that they had to refurbish the entire resort because of smoke damage. We got the impression that the kitchen and dining area would eventually be reconstructed. The room was very nice except there was no comfortable chair or sofa to sit on while watching TV or just to relax on. We had a nice view of the ocean from our room and access to the beach was excellent. The personnel was very pleasant and helpful.

Rm 418 is directly across from the elevator. The non-stop usage during all times of the night made getting a good nights sleep impossable. It this motel wants my business again,I'd like to see compensation for the disturbing room location. They know it's by the elavator,but not advance notice was given. All the good house keeping is irrelative if the noise makes the stay interable.

Overall a very nice and comfortable place to stay. Only complaint would be lack of iron and ironing board in room for convenience.

I booked this hotel for me, my husband, my sister and her husband who had just stayed at the Ritz in D.C. Imagine my horror when we go in the cold to the hot tub and the motor would not run and there was nasty grunge floating in the still water.

We have stayed at this hotel for a number of years and continue to come return mainly due to it's location and price. The rooms are small but clean and well-maintained and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The condition of the hotel has been greatly improved due to the recent renovation. The only thing we regret is that the restaurant where we enjoyed so many delicious breakfasts is no longer there.

This hotel was located right on the beach and was conviently located near restaurants and shopping. The hotel has recently been renovated and was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.

Usually stay at a different hotel while visiting family in Surfside, liked the rate and location. Room is small, and bathroom even smaller. The best quality of this hotel is location. The worst is the size of the bathroom and no ventelation in bathroom. Otherwise, good on the budget.

This property has just been completely renovated. The rooms are spacious with a partial ocean view. Everything in the rooms is new. The staff is very efficient and helpful. It is an excellent hotel at a minimal rate. Probably the best hotel value I have seen.

Good size room and really good deal. It was the off season, but I'd go back again.

I was impressed by the cleanliness and the service of the Hotel. I told my two nieces who live locally about my experience!

We have stayed at this location several times and we are pleased with the hotel update. We will check on the location of our room before the next visit as we prefer a room nearer the ocean front; we were at the opposite end of the hotel. This was not of great concern and it was nearer the elevator so we did not complain.

Please note: this hotel is very very nice. But if you think you will be on your balcony above sand, you are sadly mistaken. It is a long hotel, with the short end on the sand side, and all rooms face the parking lot with a side view of ocean. It should be advertised as oceanside rooms. I was very dissapointed when I found this out upon check in. The balconies are tiny. The neighborhood is nice, there are restaurants within walking distance. There is a noisy Friday night bar band on the south side. But the room was pretty sound proof. Not good if you thought you would be enjoying quiet time with the sound of waves and a glass of Merlot...For the price, I was overall happy with the quality of room and would stay again.

Room was average, blanket had stains, mattress made my back sore in the morning, but the view from the top floor was awesome!

This location was fantastic for those that love the beach and fishing. The pier is right beside the hotel and it has a walkway straight to the beach. Great eating spots just steps away and night life. Very nice rooms and service from all personnel. Can't wait to get back there next year for bike week. thanks again for being a biker friendly hotel!!

hotel was clean and up to date. staff was very freindly and hotel is right on the beach. nice are for a weekend getaway. resteraunt's, bars, beachwear shops and fishing pier within very close walking distance. only negative thing i can say about this hotel is the painfully slow elevator. one could take the stairs and beat elevator to your floor.

Good location right on the beach. Friendly staff. Safe. Clean. Free parking. No problems. A+. Will stay there again.

I really enjoyed my stay there.

The staff was super friendly, The room was spotless, The only complaint I have (not really important anyway because I tend to just live out of my suitcases) is that there was a broken dresser drawer. The bed was comfy and clean. Within walking distance are restraunts, bars, souvenir shops, the pier , and the beach. (the folks at the peir were all very nice also) I didnt have a balcony, but still had a beautiful view of the beach! I would stay here again and I would tell my friends and family to stay here.

Second time of staying in August/Sept. Another quality stay with everything I needed/wanted. Great Staff, great rooms...SLOW elevator! I will stay again within the next few weeks. The only place to stay in Surfside, SC.

This is one of the older hotels in the area, but was very well located. There were great places to eat within walking distance and a very nice bar too. The hotel is literally on the beach and very close to a pier. Our room had a balcony with an awesome view which completely made up for any short comings of the room itself. Our kids especially enjoyed the pool, and I enjoyed the hot tub. This price for this hotel was much lower for the area than some of the surrounding hotels. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone on a budget and wants a fabulous view.

I had stayed here before the remodel and the difference is noteworthy! After a long day of riding, the staff allowed us to check in a little early, change clothes and hit the beach. Rooms were clean, bright and comfortable. Close to nearly everything in Surfside. I have already booked another weekend trip here for Labor Day weekend.
