Baymont Inn & Suites Covington - كوفنجتون

Hotel unworthy of mid-market brand. Poorly maintained room in aging facility that apparently changed from Best Western to Baymont brand (former signage still on premises); adjacent portion of original Best Western now carries a deep-discount brand title, one which really should apply to whole complex. Baymont's front desk clerk could not provide directions to Covington town square. Disappointing experience here.

It was good, bed was o.k. room was o.k. Breakfast was terrific.The carpet and shower were a bit warn and or needed repair.

THIS DID THE JOB BUT NOT MUCH MORE , FAR LESS THAN OTHER BAYMONT HOTELS I HAVE STAYED IN, THIS WAS A OLDER BEST WESTERN OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT , THAT HAD A UPLIFT BUT FAR FROM NEW. IT WAS THE PICK OF THE LITTER FOR THIS EXIT, NEXT TIME I WILL SPEND THE EXTRA $40 AND GET THE HAMPTON.

Better than some places I stayed in that price range

We stayed here on our way to check out grad schools in Atlanta and Athens because The Vampire Diaires films in this town. This hotel is a bit off the beaten path to the town square, but it's worth it. For the price you can sleep 6 people for very inexpensive. I'm shocked that of all the places we stayed, this one was the best deal for your buck! Also, when the cast was filming the beginning of season 1 before it got picked up for an entire season, they stayed here! That shouldn't scare away any people who are not fans, because this hotel is one of the best I've ever stayed in. This is my third time booking with them if that tells you anything.

Not bad overall. The rooms are outside entrance though which is not my preference. Was pretty clean and quiet though.

Great deal for the price. The bathroom a little run down but overall everything was very clean. Breakfast variety was good as well.

could not close the curtins to block the light had only shearsthat would close .main curtins dont close

curtains had stains on them, electrical outlets were loose (couldn't hold charger), and couldn't find front desk clerk for ~ 8 min when tried to check in

I ended up having to extend my stay. My original stay was for 5 nights and added 3 nights. I was surprised that I was not offered any additional savings for my room, and I believe I was charged more than the original cost of the rooms. won't be staying there next visit, will stay across the street for cheaper rates.

The hotel was clean convenient and very affordable. The staff was very helpful and the beds were extremely comfortable. I would stay there again.

The price was "right"; the hotel and room was clean and well-kept. Would definitely go back

Very clean and comfortable motel. Excelllent staff.

I would like to thank the Baymont Hotel company for an outstanding stay. The room was even better than I had hoped. The bed was very comfortable and large. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would request to improve is the bath towel size and quality. Other than that we were very pleased.

I am a business woman that travels alone. If I had seen more pictures of the hotel, I would not have stayed there. The price was very reasonable and I was trying to keep expenses down. The lobby area and breakfast room was very clean and well-kept. The room was adeqate - bed was ok and it was mostly clean, but the lock on the door had been patched and moved. It looked like it had been broken into at some point. The maintenance was not good. The room had an overall shabby feel. The other thing that I really disliked was that the room opened out to the parking lot. The people that worked there were very nice and helpful. If you are looking for a room on a budget and the other things I mentioned don't bother you, then it was ok for the price.

Let me start by saying, the hotel staff was incredibly and accomodating, but that was about it. First off, hotel key didn't work after check-in, had to go back down. Room had a weird odor, but decided to deal with it. Went to wash my face in the sink, only to find out the drain pipe under the sink wasn't connected and water went everywhere. Room smelled even worse at this point. Picked up the phone to call the front desk about the issue, phone literally fell to pieces in my hands. Ended up switching to a room on the other side of the hotel, but it was an experience to say the least.

A non smoking room, that reeked of smoke. Bathroom had mold and dirt in corners and seams, carpet shredded at bathroom entry, carpet had not been thoroughly vacuumed. It is very hard to believe the 8 rave reviews of this place, putting it at the top of all hotels/motels in Covington, GA, weren't done by management or owners. I will never go there again, and as a result of our stay, likely never use the chain again. In all my years of travel, this was the worst stay I ever experienced. Ugh!

Service was great, very friendly staff and clean environment. Loved the room size.

Hotel was very clean, the receptionist was very polite at check in. My room was very clean and provided a comfortable nights sleep prior to an important meeting the next day. I would recommend this hotel to any business person or small business owner on a budget.

The stay and service was good the only complant i have is the the sidewalks outside of the rooms are very slippery with rain, i fell down because of it .

My husband and I stayed here while we were in Covington for the vampire diaries tour. It was clean, comfortable and very affordable. Staff was friendly and helpful. 2 minute drive to town square and visitor's center.

We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights to attend the football game in Athens, which is about 45 miles away. On the positive side, the rates were very low and the rooms were nice and large, with a couch and sitting area, desk, refrigerator and micro wave. The rooms are also very quiet, which I was happy about because the hotel sits adjacent to the interstate. The only negative is that the parking lot has tall very bright lights that stay on all night and keep the rooms from being dark. It didn't bother my husband, but if you need a dark room, it won't be here. Also, our shower heads were very low, so if you are taller than 5'2" you will have to lean over to wash your hair. But overall and based on the low rates, we woudl stay there again.

The hotel staff is friendly and responsive. The room was comfortable and fairly clean. Overall I pretty much got what I paid for. Nothing more and nothing less. Which is what I expected. That's fine.

Hotel was acceptable . Early checkin was allowed

This hotel is rundown in need of updating badly. I did not stay at this hotel. As soon as I entered the room I went back to the front desk. The room smelled bad, walls were dirty shower didn't look clean either. So I asked for a different room. It was as bad as the first. I went to the nearest Holiday Inn Express and stayed there.

From the rooms, to the pool, to the location ... this is a great place to stay!! The manager is wonderful and even the folks who clean the rooms are friendly. I was in town for a funeral, and many of my family syated here. We were treated so well and it made all the difference in the world to us. Rates were great, free wi-fi and breaksfast included - YUMMY homemade waffles!

The service was excellent and responsive and the hotel was very well located just off Highway 20. However, the reservation was for a non-smoking room and I believe I was given a smoking room; there was a pungent, smoky odor in the room. When asked to change rooms, I was told that the hotel was completely booked. I was given a spray to try to eliminate the smokey, musty smell, but it didn't work very well. The sofa in the front area of the room was worn and had a severely frayed, 6-inch diameter spot in the rear cushion. The bathroom wall had a triangular shaped, 6-inch hole near the curtain rod attachment and the toilet bowl was not fully attached to the floor--it rocked with the shifting of the users weight.

good place for the money. write up mentioned restaurant, none on premisses.
