Hotel Nikko San Francisco - سان فرانسيسكو

Everything was fine with our stay at Nikko....service, cleanliness, convenience etc. For a girls weekend it was a bit dissapointing that the hotel has no character. The lobby floors and walls are entirely covered in old and therefore tired-looking white and grey marble that even the modern furniture and flowers couldn't remedy The rooms are comfortable enough and nothing about the decor was offensive, but I won't rememberr a single thing about it. Ok for business, but there are many more memorable hotles for leisure or a special event.

This hotel is very well located in the financial district of San Francisco. Very good service and the service is fantastic! Good value for money.

This was a lovely hotel in a lovely neighbourhood. Very close to market street and surrounding shopping area. Nearby cable car stop to get to pier 39 area. All round good hotel for any type of trip.

When checking in, I felt I was being pushed to take on a paid upgrade. Size of room was disappointingly small. No availability of local TV channels: only pay TV channels available - unacceptable for expensive 4-star accommodation. Having the tea/coffee-making facilities in the bathroom is unhygienic. The water-boiler tasted of coffee when I wanted to make a cup of tea. The Concierge was extremely helpful in organizing our day and bookings for Alcatraz and departure transport

Hotel Nikko is very convenient to shopping, union square and catching tram down to Fisherman's Wharf. Rooms are clean, good layout and comfortable bed, not too small.

This is a great Hotel for families with older kids. The location is perfect for family walkabouts. Centrally located to what the family wants or need to do.

Hotel Nikko is centrally located if you have a diverse and varied San Francisco schedule. Most things are within walking distance. Public transportation is nearby. It is a great family hotel near Union Square.

Service was exemplary. Friendly staff. Really good location. We came for a show at the Warfield Theatre and the hotel was literally a 2 minute walk from the venue. Other than a few sketchy streets worth avoiding at night (crackheads skittering about) the location is fantastic. Clean and comfortable rooms.

An incredible City...we want to go back!

This is an ideal hotel for a business stay; if you want a homely and cosy environment this might not be the right place. The service is excellent and so is the comfort with large rooms and magnificent views (depending on the location of your room). It has a great maintenance but lack the latest in radio equipment etc. The location within the city is ideal but the area has become a setting for homeless and the beggars making it a bit frightening for some. Conclusion: Highly recommendable for most.

Like this hotel very much. Great location. Clean contempory rooms and spacious lobby. Guest services were very helpful.

This hotel is so central to Union Square, access to cable car and F line trolley as well as bus 30. All these get to Fisherman's wharf really quick (except bus 30 which takes about 30mins n traffic). Hotel clean and staff were freindly.

Nice hotel with reasonable price. The location is superb, close to everything. The bathroom is big with separate shower & bath up. Imperial club have free wifi & free breakfast buffet for 2 adult ( the kids buffet breakfast is about $10). Wish for more variety of the buffet menu.

Great hotel but breakfast is steep in terms of cost so offered to pay upograde to club nikko so breakfast is complimentary!

We are a family of 4 from Ireland and stayed at the Hotel Nikko for 4 nights in March 2012. This hotel was great! We had a great room on the 23rd floor with lots of space and very, very comfortable beds! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located just one block from Union Square, Macy's and Westfield Mall making it an ideal base for touring San Fran. I would definately recommend this hotel if you are planning on staying in the downtown area. Downtown is a much nicer area than the Wharf and Pier 39 area. Most of the open top bus companies stop and start their tours at Union Square so this hotel is very handy if you plan on using them. Enjoy your stay here; we did!

The Nikko is a clean hotel with comfortable rooms and good service. The design of the hotel is nice but its getting a little long in the tooth, time for a design refresh. Parking overnight cost me $50.....robbery,ridiculous!

Staff great. location fine - except for the homeless people that hound you all around this area. But the rooms were claustrophobic - absolutely tiny for the price. And 17.99 for a movie was excessive!

I have stayed in many hotels in SF and this hotel is the best. The room was large, clean and the beds were very comfortable.The room was a little noisy from the street action down below but it was St Patrick's Day and there is an Irish pub just below. The bathroom has a bath and shower that are separate with a good size tub so if you love taking a bath like I do you will enjoy this. I will always stay at Hotel Nikko whenever I am in town.

Disappointed that a hotel of good standard does not provide any complimentary wireless & gym facility . Guest have to pay for it. Major warning for those who wants to be connected on the go. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay

A friend whom kind of frowned at me when I said I'd booked a hotel at Union Sq over Fishermans Wharf but I have to say, the quality of Hotel Nikko and location were great, I honestly think I would have been disappointed to stay at Fishermans Wharf. We found Christopher at the Conceirge desk very helpful and overall enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is nice but overpriced for what it offers. THERE IS A $16 per day FEE FOR WI-FI. Hotel staff and security are very unwelcoming and unfriendly on both shifts.

Personally, if I visit San Francisco I prefer to stay somewhere near Market Street or Union Square - it's convenient for getting around and for the shops. The Nikko hotel is excellent in this respect - next door to the Hilton, and a block-and-a-half from Union Square or Powell BART. Rooms are very comfortable, beds are excellent as are the bathrooms. The WLAN is pricey but there is a Starbucks downstairs that's free. One slight annoyance is that the fridge is one of those automatic-debit ones with no free space, so if you buy anything chilled for breakfast the next morning from 7-11, there'll be nowhere to keep it cold. Overall, I was very pleased especially as it was significantly the cheapest when I booked for the area and star rating. Definitely on the shortlist for next time. One word of warning: the entrance on O'Farrell Street gets locked late at night, so you have to use the entrance on Mason Street, which may not be obvious to you. (I thought O'Farrell was the main entrance in fact). Anyway, recommended...

Run down in some of the hotel furnishings. Overall very nice and clean and friendly. I was expecting nicer room furniture and higher-end experience. But average.

The location of the hotel was excellent and the complimentary bottle of champagne for my husband's birthday was most welcome.Breakfast was good. We had a Nikko floor room which we paid extra for and the views were outstanding. I thought the room was on the small side for an upgraded room. If the bathroom door was open (it opened outwards) you couldn't open the main bedroom door from the outside. While the room was clean there were quite a few black stains on the carpet.

room next door was having a party and kept us up. Finally asked to move us and then we had the same problem with the room next door being loud at 4:am. Hotel caters to young crowd who party. Will not stay or recommend.

From the time we drove in to the time we checked out , very impressive service.

STAYED IN THE NIKKO FLOOR (ABOVE 22/F). NICE VIEW - CAN WATCH SUNSET. BIG AND CLEAN ROOM. BUFFET (INCLUSIVE) IS NICE (ESP THE JAPANESE-STYLE BREAKFAST) AND FRUIT ARE FRESH. INTERNET ACCESS (INCLUSIVE) IS GOOD AND HIGH-SPEED. ALL STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY. LOCATION CAN'T BE MORE CONVENIENT. IT IS NOT CHEAP BUT TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT WHAT WE GOT WE THINK IT IS A VALUE FOR MONEY CHOICE. (JUST THAT WE THINK IT IS BETTER TO STAY IN HIGHER FLOORS AS THE NOISE OF THE STREET WOULD SOMETIMES BE NOTICEABLE ESP AT NIGHT). OVERALL IT IS A NICE HOTEL.
