This is by far, the most disgusting establishment I have ever seen. Had it not been so late when I arrived I would have left, and actually considered doing so twice. Both the hotel itself as well as the room were FILTHY and incredibly loud. It looked like a cross between a horror movie and a crime scene. Sleeping in a tent would have been better than this hotel.

Very good hotel. Parking And moving luggage is tough

I STAYED THERE BEFORE WHEN IT WAS THE WYNDHAM HOTEL AND IT WAS IN BETTER CONDITION. BUT THIS HOTEL LOOKED VERY OLD AND RUN DOWN, ROOMS NEED UPGRADES AS FAR AS TV, BATHROOM, BED.. BUT FOR THE PRICE AND I WAS ONLY IN THERE 24 HRS.. IT WAS OK..

Hotel was at a good rate for the location. My only complaint was that the TV options were very limited and the TV could not be turned on or off with the remote.

Hotel is good value and excellent location. Closing in a month for 1 yr of renovations and new Hyatt flag. Property shows wear but still decent.

Very expensive parking fees were not identified anywhere prior to reserving the room. Had to let the bath water run for several minutes before brown, rusty water cleared up.

I think the overall hotel experience was pretty descent. I was able to book a great deal with hotels.com which made my stay a lot better. I did not think it would be worth the asking price to stay here but with my deal it was alright. Great neighborhood and close to everything. Great food and shopping in the area. Hotel is a bit dated but again for the pricing and weekend trip it was very cool. Staff was a bit standoffish and not too friendly but hey I am one who doesn't like to be bothered like that anyway but a simple hello would have been appropriate.

The hotel is closing in May 2012 and they are neglecting everything. TV not working, NO internet in the rooms, No hot water in the room. Very very very disappointed. If I knew it before I would not have booked it.Please remove this hotel from your selection list.Thanks

Lobby was gorgious looking but once you get on to the elevator, I felt like I was in getto. The room was awful too. Everything looked old. Then the morning came and some one opened the door even though I didn't answer it. Maybe you're thinking of morning call but if so, why don't they call? Front desk had attitudes too. NEVER CHOOSE HERE IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR ROMANTIC GETTAWAY! Overall, this hotel was the most awful experience.

I booked several rooms for my guests. Upon arrival, the hotel said they only had 2 rooms left..then when I came to find out, I got on the phone with the hotel and told them I had my confirmation number etc and they must accommodate my guests. The gentleman told me he would get everyone in a room and somehow at that point came up with the rooms. I only found out the next morning, that my guests had to double up in the rooms. I can not believe I was lied to...turns out this hotel is dirty, old, run down and uncomfortable. I am still thoroughly upset with the hotel however I'm very pleased with hotels.com's customer service. Thank God this place will close down 5/1 and will be taken over and upgraded.

Good locaiton for midtown, however, the internet didn't work. Hotel is OK if you don't mind no frills. I thought it was pricey, this time around. have stayed once or twice before, so know what to expect.

Hotel was very nice including room, fitness center and pool - however they are closing in a couple months and being taken over by a major chain and they don't seem to be up on service - they don't even have a liquor liscence and restaurant can't serve alcohol (not that i care but info you should know) - I called to complain about the room next to me making noise and slamming doors at 2am and the night guy at front desk actually gave them my room number as the one complaining which is unprofessional .

Picked this hotel because of its location, and being that it was only a few blocks from the event I was going to at Park Tavern. I almost went with a cheaper hotel, but opted for this one because of the restaurant and bar that was SUPPOSED to be located in the hotel. The bar was not serving alcohol due to " licensing issues" as I was told when checking in. I was upset about this, but it was not the worst part of my stay. There were no light bulbs in 2 of the 3 lamps in my room. While showering, the bathtub leaked water all over the floor. $18 parking per day was not detailed in my hotels.com reservation. There was a parking deck right next to the hotel, and hotel quests are required to park on the 9th floor of the parking deck. The elevator to the parking deck only went up to level 8... Good thing we waited for 20 minutes for a luggage cart because we would have had to carry our luggage down a flight of stairs before we got to the elevator. Don't even ask for early check-in's... They don't allow it. I don't feel l got what I paid for. I would have expected this from the other hotel I looked at that was half the price.

Perfect location to visit schools and Atlanta in general. Food options vary in its quaint neighborhood to suit all tastes and budgets. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. For Gone With the Wind fans, it's right across the street from the Margaret Mitchell house!

This hotel was amazing. The location is perfect and the house keeper actually doesn't disturb you when you ask them not to. It was also very quiet. The only complaint I would have is to of had a better tv.

From the outside, the place looks amazing. Inside, it's older yet has a classy style. I had a great view of the city from my room. Only thing I didn't like was the a/c unit wouldn't get colder even though it was set to 60 degrees. It stayed at 70 the whole time.

I'd stay again. There are a lot of bars and food around, the room was clean, and the staff is very friendly.

Recent stay at hotel convinced me I will find alternatives in the future. Property is understood to have been recently sold and changing ownership. Could only be a good thing for the future. For now, I ended a three night stay a day early. First night, room was overlooked for cleaning. Second day minor oversights such as failure to replace shampoo and conditioner. Remote control for TV never worked properly. Wireless internet only free and accessible from lobby. Convenient walking distance to Midtown MARTA location but everything else leaves much to be desired.

I usually stay at hotels in a better echelon than this one but since my wife was not along for this trip I opted for something less expensive. Upon entrance to the lobby, there was a smell. The kind you get when you mop with questionable mop water. The staff was friendly and attentive enough throughout my stay. However, my room phone did not work despite the hotel's efforts to fix it. The hot tub was out-of-order and I could not order any movies in my room. The restaurant downstairs (Mojito) served me chicken and rice that was a few days past its prime; Do not eat at Mojito's. For the flavor and price, Atlanta has much more to offer in the way of food choices even if you seek Cuban food. On the positive side, there was a pool and workout facility. The bedding and pillows were average. If you plan to connect to the internet in your room, bring your ethernet cable! Have a safe trip:)

Not a bad stay... for one night, but was really surprised to find, upon arrival, that you have to pay separately for nearly everything... Parking, $12-18, Internet, $4.99 (even for 1 night)... the expenses just piled upon each other. Became really glad after about 15 minutes that I was only there for the one night. Nothing really 'special' about this hotel. Wished I had stayed at one of the 'nicer' hotels that were in the same price range on Hotels.com instead.

A nice location, a good price, and a shiny exterior. The inside is really outdated, some things are noticeably in need of repair. There is nothing beyond the bare necessities in this hotel, no extra miles being taken here, but that doesn't mean it was a bad experienced. Just your basic place with basic looking rooms.

The hotel/room in general was clean but we tossed and turned all night due to the bed being very uncomfortable. I woke up with a sore neck and needed to take tylenol to drive the additional 8hrs to make it to our destination. The location was great, clean rooms, nice staff...but not the place for you if you enjoy a comfortable bed.

Great location. Paying to park your own car was a bit of a surprise. ($18 a day). Staff very pleasent. Overall good value.

This smaller property is in the heart of Midtown Atlanta just off famous Peachtree Street. The property is very nice BUT the rooms need attention. Carpets needed cleaning or replacing, as did the room chair. Hotel staff was attentive but food sevice was deplorable. Definitely enjoyed my stay.

everything is outdated...the plumbing is horrible and the housekeeping is just as nasty as Super 8 Motel. I will not be staying here again

Enjoyed our stay. Piedmont Park is walking distance and a great place to run. enjoyed the heated indoor lap pool.

The location of this hotel is great--close to several great areas of Atlanta. The condition of the hotel, however, is awful. The rooms are old and rundown, the bed is uncomfortable, the staff is unfriendly, and the walls are paper thin. It is not worth it at all! Pay a little more and stay somewhere nice.

An inconvenient parking system, dirty sheets and rooms, a smell of a 1950 hotel that needs some major work. I travel a lot and am satisfied with your basic, clean Holiday Inn, this was a joke and disgusting,

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Midtown; I loved the location to many and varied attractions and great restaurants. The room was clean and the cleaning staff was great. I loved how quickly my room was cleaned no matter how late in the day I left. The only thing I was not fond of was my bed; I found it too hard and not to my liking; but again, it was clean and the room was spacious and well kept. The front desk staff was very nice at check in and check out; however, their was one woman who I think was a shift Manager for the Front Desk during the days whom I found to be rude and very short when you would ask her any questions. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day, considering all the other staff including the Doormen were very nice, helpful, and friendly. The hotel was a great value overall. I plan to stay again during my next visit to Atlanta sometime during the late spring/early summer months. Thank you to the staff (with the exception of one) and the hotel management who made my visit a nice one. Cheers!

Convenient to downtown, several places to eat within walking distance. A little more than I like to pay especially for parking (18 dollars a day) but for the location it was ok. Hotel personnel friendly and helpful. I would recommend it.

Don't pay the hotel for self-service parking. It costs like $22 for a voucher. If you just park at the same garage over night and pay directly it costs only $16.

I thoroughy enjoyed my stay at Midtown. We were in Atlanta to attend an event at the High and I loved the fact that it was within walking distance to the High and so much more. The hotel was so clean and the restaurant, Mojitos, was fabulous for dinner and breakfast.

I stay at Hotel Midtown regularly for business. It's location is fantastic, the price is right, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

I've stayed there twice and will stay again when I go to Atlanta to work. The rooms were clean with reasonable rates. The location is convenient being close to the train station, restaraunts and fto my business. My only complaint is the desk receptionist that works evenings (I do not have the same issue with the staff during the day) doesn't have a clue about customer service or how to look someone in the eye and smile. She is a bad fit for being the first face a guest/customer sees and interacts with when coming to stay. She needs to be replaced.

The location was EXCELLENT! right in the HEART of ATLANTA but on the inside it was the equivalent of a DAYS INN. I didnt complain tho because i got an EXCELLENT LAST MINUTE DEAL on it!!!

The hotel was centrally located to attractions, restaurants, etc. We got a same-day rate that made it reasonably priced for the area. The description stated all rooms have pillow-top mattresses, but our bed did not, instead it was very hard and uncomfortable. We spent two nights there and our room was never cleaned because we were not out by cleaning time. I've never stayed in a hotel where the cleaning crew makes only one round. We requested a cleaning but was told the crew had left for the day. Be prepared to pay $18 per day for self-parking (on the roof of the parking garage) or $23 for valet.

Older hotel with dated features. Views from rooms are nice. Indoor pool and fitness center were a plus. Carpet was wet; as if recently cleaned. Internet was not working. No wifi. Older, huge television set. Would have preferred flat screen or more updated tv. Latin restaurant in the lobby has great food. Hotel is near everything in midtown.
