The Mark excels in every category. the location is great, the service is superb and the rooms are lovely. The bathrooms in the rooms and large and luxurious beyond expectations. The rooms are quiet and beautiful. Will definitely return. Soon, I hope.

Absolutely charming and full of old-NYC attention to detail. The only issue I ever had was my room key not working. Elevators work quickly, decor is charming. Staff is wonderful. The TV in my bathroom mirror was amazing. Room service was prompt and surpassed my expectations.

Half block off Madison ave, great shopping, wonderful hotel, wonderful room, superb service. I would avoid the restaurant, overpriced and not that great, but there are plenty of places to eat within a three block radius. Short walk to the met museum of art, what a wonderful stay my wife and I had. We stayed two nights, loved it, and the room was very clean, you don't have to worry about bedbugs. Love the tv mirror and the heated towel rack in the bathroom. Would definately stay here again, pricey, but totally worth it.

The MARK is in my opinion the BEST Hotel in the Manhattan-Upper East Side area of NY! I have been coming to NY since I have been 17 years old and I can say that this is by far...the BEST in all of NYC! From the UNIQUE and ACCOMODATING refrigerated BAR to the cleanliness of the room and the fantastic WATER PRESSURE in the shower and bath areas! THE bathroom was the best I have experienced! Room service was great! Lounge was wonderful! Reception and Employees VERY accomodating and receptive to all of our needs! LOVE this HOTEL and will only plan to stay HERE in the future! THANKS for the GREAT STAY!!! Worth every penny! Custtomer SERVICE is not dead in America! Come to the MARK to experience it at its finest!

It had the feel of a boutique Hotel. It had a great bar and buzzy restaurant. The hotel had just been renovated and had a very luxurious feel to it. a high floor is recommended to avoid overlooking air conditioners. I liked its location being located next to Central Park and the Museums. However it was a good walk from Saks and other stores being located on 77th E Street and Madison. All in all I would recommend this hotel, although not for people on a budget, being at the high end of the price range.

The Hotel was wonderful, staff really, really good. It might of been a very short stay , however I would find it hard to book another hotel in NYC now. Fully recomend the Mark

The Mark made us feel like William and Kate. . . PLUS!!! The staff, the accomodations, the service, the food, etc., was all fit for royalty! And, that's the way we felt! HOORAY!!!

From the moment we walked in, we were treated with respect and courtesy. The staff knew it was my girlfriend's birthday and brought up a bottle of champagne at no charge. In this day of constant charges, it was refreshing to have complimentary WiFi and gym use. Is it pricey? Relatively, yes but it was one place in NYC that I felt was worth the price.

this is my second time staying at the Mark since it has reopened after extensive renovations. Everything about this hotel is first class. The location is wonderfu, service impeccable, room service delicious, and the room so very comfortable.

One of the best hotels i have stayed in. Yes its pricey but worth it if its for a special occasion ( honeymoon, anniversery). It's in a great location, not close to the noise and congestion of NYC. Its in uptown, minutes away from Central park. The gym facilaties are great. As this hotel was recently refurbished it is all new and modern. Everything is designer, you feel like a king (or queen) This hotel deserves its five star rating. Staff where very friendly and offered a speedy service. They had a promotion going on at the time if booked directly on their website, but as i booked from hotels.com they offered me an upgrade to a one bedroom 'apartment'. It was huge. Only down side is breakfast is not included but not a big deal as there is many places to eat minutes walk away.

positivo: um hotel super luxuoso e com estrutura sensacional. tem um concierge super atencioso, e um academia maravilhosa. dispoe de internet sem fio em todo o hotel. a madison avenue e um passeio obrigatorio com todas as boutiques a sua disposicao. Esse hotel dispoe de um restaurante excelente, que esta sempre cheio e ainda tem uma clientela super chique! negativo: longe da times square e nao dispoe de cafe da manha.
