Orlando Vista Inn at Lake Buena Vista, Ascend Collection - أورلاندو

We chose this hotel because it was close to Disney and had a shuttle to the parks. When we got there, we realized the shuttle only went a couple of times in the morning and returned a few times in the evening so we didn't have as much freedom as we expected. The place looks like it hasn't been renovated since the 80s and the breakfast was nothing spectacular. My biggest complaint is that on our last night, someone opened the door to our room in the middle of the night! It was latched thankfully, but it was definitely very scary. Either their keys are not room-specific, which is disturbing, or someone in the staff decided to take a stroll through the hotel at 3 AM and scare guests, which is also equally disturbing. F for safety.

The pictures for the hotel are presented in a way that do not properly represent the hotel! I was very shocked to see the actual hotel upon arrival, It looked a bit seedy. On a good note, I've stayed in some pretty bad hotels and this wasn't as bad as alot of them. Definitely not a 3 star more like a 2 1/2. The staff was friendly, the rooms were moderately clean, a bit dusty/dirty and hairs in the corners of the room. I did a thorough bed bug check and found none. The mattresses were clean and looked very new, very clean linens and very clean towels. The overall hotel was a bit dirty, elevators smelled, I definitely wouldn't allow my kid to swim ( my husband cleans pools and wouldn't allow her in it. ) All in all not too bad, but in desperate need of an update or good cleaning. Location to Downtown Disney was a plus. I wouldn't stay again, but was good for one night.

When me and my family enter the hotel it had a bad smell similar to wet old carpet. When we got to the room the carpet was full of stains all over and bulky, the bath tub was filithy and there was signs of mold on the ceiling and the fan was full of dust. The breakfast is cold boiled eggs and cold oatmeal. PLEASE DON'T LET THE PRICE AND LOCATION FOOL YOU DON'T STAY HERE!!!! and if you have bad allergies, this is not the place its diffently full of MOLD. The WORST HOTEL i've ever stayed at. I rather pay more to stay in a clean and comforablet hotel.

We had a dog on our trip so we chose this Hotel due to that. This hotel felt like a resort than a hotel that can accept dogs. We had a wonderful time and the staff was amazing. I would book this everytime I come to Orlando, with or without our pets.

problems all around , from hotel staff , cock roaches in the room, cont. breakfast was one of the worse I'd ever seen, had to eat at other location, not to say the swimming pool was in need of cleaning. the halls ways leading to room looked as though it has not been vacuumed in a week. not happy with this hotel at all. and will let others know as well,,,,, don't book this hotel... And Hotels.com rate this at 3 stars.. maybe need to rate it again maybe a 1/4 star.

We only were staying one night with an 11am check out time. The housekeeper came the first time at 8:15am, my husband and I were still asleep and she let herself in and woke us up. The same happened at 8:45 and 9:30. After we grabbed a very poor free breakfast we were locked out of our room. Getting a new key the housekeeper came back again twice before we left at 11. We felt rushed and a huge lack of privacy. Complete bummer.

The best way to find the motel is to look for the giant pineapple on top. You have to do a u-turn to get to it, but once there, it was great. Arnie checked us with - he was very friendly and informative of the area. The room was clean and just right for what we needed. The price for the location was perfect - so close to I-4, easy to get to all attractions, restaurants and shopping! The only complaint i would have is that the pool was not heated as advertised. Otherwise would have to say the entire stay was great!

Very good proximity to Disney World without being over priced. This hotel looks like it has been around for a while, so it's not so new. There are scuff marks on the walls and at least the floor I stayed on, 4, had no working A/C in the hall(but who cares, you sleep inside the room, not the hall) and no ice machine(quick ride on the elevator and problem resolved). Rooms are kept clean and smell fresh. Great neighborhood with dining locations all around. Would never consider paying more for a luxurious hotel or less and be in a bad neighborhood. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

I was in Orlando for a conference that was in a more expensive hotel 5 minutes away. I opted to stay here because it was less expensive and close to my conference. Although the hotel isn't the best, it was definitely good for the price and convenience. The elevator was a bit dingy and smelled of stale cigarettes but since I didn't have to spend any significant amount of time there, I was okay with it. One other complaint I had was that the free "breakfast" was nothing more than some stale biscuits, mini muffins, stale cereal, canned fruit cocktail, milk, coffee, and juice. There was also toast too but only one toaster and it didn't seem worth it to wait in line for that. I didn't even bother with "breakfast" the second day. My only other complaint was that although there was a free shuttle to disney and downtown disney, the downtown disney shuttle only has ONE time: 7pm and one return time: 10pm. It would be great if they could offer a few more times to downtown disney; perhaps a morning, afternoon, and evening shuttle, especially since downtown disney is open all day. In summation, I'd pick this hotel again for the convenience and the price, not the breakfast. If you are taking kids on a trip to disney, it's a great choice!

I picked this place for its convenient location, but was deeply disappointed. Customer service: Generally poor. At the check-in desk, I waited for 10 min, while the manager was doing other internal chores in the back room. Internet Service: No internet service except in the lobby. Misc Charge: Was not informed of mandatory safe charge, until checkout. Cleanliness: Room wasn't cleaned for 2 days.

We really did enjoy our stay . It was in a great location. Everything was close by. The only problem I had was that when you were going to have breakfast it was hard to find a place to sit. They would need more tables and chairs but the rest was great. Personel was very friendly and helpful. They let us check-in early and our check-out time was noon, which was awesome because we weren't rushed to leave and we could sleep in. I would return to this hotel any time.

Nice tropical paintjob on the outside, but the feel of dirty, unorganized on the inside. We checked in and the 3 stars advertised went from 3 stars to half a star by the end of our stay. Elevators and hallways dirty and smelly. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was dirty and did not have soap. No towels at the pool. The continental breakfast was terrible. One of the front desk ladies was nice. The kids really like their bunk beds. I would not stay there again.

We were looking for a hotel that was close to Disney World and this hotel was reasonably priced. It was close enough to walk to Downtown Disney and there was also lots of places to eat by the hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

Hotel was close to Disneyworld and other attractions -- Right off Rt 4. Amazing selection of inexpensive national restaurants within walking distance. Ihop and Subway next door, McDonalds, Burge rking across street and huge shopping center with national stores and so many restaurants. Walking distance (adjacent) to VERY luxury Hyatt Resort. Garman could not find it however.

I stayed at this hotel overnight for an even at Disney. The hotel is outfitted with huge pineapples, giant orange balls, and weird furniture. The rooms were okay, but you could tell the hotel is aging. The beds were super comfortable, but when we turned out the lights to go to sleep, the lights outside were so bright, it was like it was daytime. Then we were woken up as the air conditioner kicked on and off because as soon as it kicked off, we woke up sweating. It had no consistency. The bathroom was clean, but the bathtub was very tiny. Only one soap was left in the bathroom and one container of shampoo/conditioner. When I went outside to take a picture of the hotel's oddness, I was approached by a stranger asking if I wanted a taxi. Needless to say I didn't feel too safe. If you're desperate, it's enough to get you through the night. But I would choose to stay somewhere else.

Orlando Vista with its multilingual staff was a pleasant place to stay near DisneyWorld. Continental breakfast and shuttle service were a bonus. Good service but the building itself is getting a bit run down. Watch out for timeshare sales pitch in exchange for discounted theme park tickets.

Close to the parks. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed. VERY noisy however -- even at 1:00 AM there were little children running up and down the hallways. I do understand that it is in a "children's" paradise (Orlando), perhaps, but I still can't fathom why parents allow their children to be loud and hyper all hours of the night. Some of us adults would like to sleep!!!

DON'T do it!... unless you want your hotel room to never be cleaned and you want to beg for towels and wash clothes everyday. Save your funds and stay somewhere else where they will do at least the minimum. Bus service was SCARY....

Overall, the location and personnel were fine. I happened to be on a floor which allowed pets and the rug condition was poorer than the other floors. Plus, I did hear a dog barking during the night. All of the agents and housekeeping were courteous and professional and that means a lot to me.

The photos on Hotel.com are deceiving - the hotel appears to be a lot nicer that what it is. Everything you see is dirty, not maintained. Everything smells, the elevator, the corridors, the rooms. This is NOT a 3 star hotel as advertised.

The choice of food was very poor

I arrived about midnight... changed room 3 TIMES in ONE night... my first room was awful, air conditioner, telephone, and remote all did not work... went downstairs to switch rooms... second room smelled of cigarette smoke even thought the hotel is supposed to be "smoke-free" (wonder why Housekeeping didn't smell it, makes me wonder if room was cleaned properly)- I couldn't even go into that room.... well room#3 was not good but was too tired to change AGAIN at that point... handle on faucet was broke so we could not adjust the temperature of the water (my daughter burned her hand brushing her teeth) and you could not turn the water completely off... the wood trim around the bathroom mirror fell off on two sides.... ugh!!!! Horrible experience!!! The staff was sympathetic and nice but the hotel was AWFUL! It needs a complete renovation!

Hotel was mis-represented. Photos did not match hotel descriptions. Overpriced. Noisy. Staff too loud in hallways. Machinery noises all night, unable to sleep. Terrible pillows.

Perect distant to and from WDW resorts and parks, however it really needs to be redecorated and remodeled.

Upon entering the room, an unflattering smell filled my nostrils with dissatisfaction; I am hoping the new paint job was the aroma's origin. There were several lights that had been left on after the most recent cleaning, not to mention the fact that there was an empty bottle of water behind a desk. However, despite these minor flaws, the room was pretty nice; the sheets were soft and clean and the hotel itself was in walking distance to major attractions.

After paying for the room, imagine my surprise to see the sign outside the hotel advertising rooms from twenty dollars a night less than I had paid. I asked at the desk and they acknowledged the price was correct ,however, as I had paid for the hotel, I was unable to get it changed. The breakfast was ok as long as what you wanted was cold cereal. The only newspaper was one normally given out with the room which was on sale for $1.00. This was not a hotel I would choose again

The good thing about this hotel is location, location, location. The hotel is old, many things broken, they were mad because we requested another hair dryer. The continental breakfast was pretty much the same food every day (hopefully, you don't get tired). My daughter accidentally dropped the TV control under the bed. When I tried to pick it up, it was *really* dirty there. The probably didn't clean it for years. Blankets were clean, bed and pillows were comfortable, no roach, no bedbugs (good!). I got a big problem with communication, the shuttle bus changed schedule to return to the hotel and the hotel didn't tell anybody. When I call them, they said they wrote a note somewhere and it was our fault for not reading it. Then, they said we should take a taxi, hanged up, and didn't pick the phone after that. I have to wait 2 hours until 11 pm with 2 kids. I was mad as hell.

Personally, I was not impressed at all with the hotel. The only thing that it has going in it's favor is how close it is to downtown disney and the parks. The buffet is less than average. I have definitely had a LOT better. They only serve a bunch of pre-packaged food that is very rich in carbs... No fresh fruit, or pancake batter even to make waffles or pancakes... eggs?? only boiled... in the morning?? yuk!! Only cereal, bagels, muffins and canned fruit sometimes.... The hallways smell like old carpet and the bathrooms are super tiny! I am a small person, and when I was in the shower, I kept on hitting my elbows on the sides of the shower. Don't think I'll be staying at this place again... I'd rather pay a little more for better quality.

This place is very cost effective if that's what you're looking for. It's not a new hotel, but it is clean and comfortable. Overall a good deal. I am sorry to have to say that the "continental breakfast" was one of the WORST that I have ever had. I suggest that you spend the money that you saved by staying here on the $4.99, Sizzler's all you can eat buffet across the street.

We live in south florida and travel to orlando/Disney often because we have two small children now 3 and 5. We went in May stayed @ .buena .vista Palace beautiful perfect stay, in July @ Whydam all in downtown disney area must stay in toer rooms here good not as nice as palace but cheaper, in August @ the Dolphin very nice fancy but too bigfor my style. Which brings me to Orlando Vista Inn or otherwise known by my family the big pineapple. We stayed two nights for News Y ears Eve. I hd really low expectations and I was pleasantly surprised. I did ask for room that had never been smoked in or a pet stayed because my daughter tends to be asthmatic. Breakfast was free. So I thought was great. Its some in your stomach before you go to the parks. Don't waste time going anywhere else. Coffee toast ceral juice milk muffins and hard boiled eggs perfect. Location is perfect but on busy street not so pretty. You get what you pay. If this is your once in alife time trip to Disney don't stay here. Stay @ the palace or one of the downtown disney trademark hotels. But it was satisfing.

The hotel looks nice from the outside and the lobby is beautiful but the rooms and hallways are disgusting, choose in opportune time to paint the trim in the elevator. Pool was alright, towels for pool were tiny. Hard to find stairs unless you know where they are. Musky smell

The staff was very friendly but the hotel was out dated and the rooms were smelly and musty. I will never stay here again! The location is not great as you can only exit one way and it is not near down town Disney or the parks. The cleaning staff was rude and when i checked out the charged extra for the safe.

This hotel is dedicated for people love Disney Theme Parks and shopping to Orlando Premium Outlet, they have shuttle services to go to theme parks, and the location is not far from the outlet.

Cheap.clean room.Nice swimming pool,out of towels Thats all i can say. If you just look for a cheap place to sleep,great. Lots of resturants walking distance from there.Cheap and expensive..
