Worst stay I have ever encountered on a trip. Hotel was eerily located on what appeared to be a deserted industrial area. Room was full of cheap furniture and outlets that did not work. Was awoken prior to 2 pm. by people in the hallway, who were clearly drunk. The revelry lasted for almost two hours, and included pounding on doors and physical fighting in both rooms on either side of ours. I called the front desk twice. Had I not paid for the room ahead of time on hotels.com, I would have refused to pay for my stay. We got up early, didn't even bother to use the shower and left first thing.

room not clean at 5:30 check in. asked for room to be cleaned. room still not clean at 8:30. girl at front desk had to clean room. will not stay again.

When we arrived to check-in there were two customers that were complaining to the staff. We checked in and noticed that there was trash on the floor in the hallways. Upon entering the room there was a weird smell in the room. It was DIRTY...Hair in the shower, dirty footprints on the bathroom floor and mud on the floor beside the bed. At this point I was ready to leave but due to other events in the area there were no other available places to stay. I woke up at 2 am and headed towards the bathroom and realized my socks were soaking wet. There was some kind of plumbing leak in the room. By 7 am the leak had spread and the carpet was soaked. When I checked out I let the staff know that this was the WORSE place I have ever stayed. She did not seem at all concerned about the plumbing issue or the fact that the rooms were filthy. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told she only works M-F 8-5 and was unavailable.

Although the room was large compared to most hotel rooms and the bed was very comfortable the service was horrible. I asked to have the tub drained because it filled up while showering leaving soap scum on my ankle so that it looked like I was wearing socks an they never showed up. There was barely enough hot water to complete a shower and the hotel appeared to be less than half full. The WIFI never worked the entire three days we were there. The staff was young and amateurish in their service abilities. And they didn't get my wake up call correct the first day.

Not like the picture! Very cold through out the whole hotel. first room the sheets where dirty. missed breakfast first morning because the clock was an hour off. dvd in room didn't work, door was not level so there was a very large gap at the top. Old hotel! a large part of it not in use. it was close to the casinos, but would not stay again

The stay was below average and could have been better. The hotel's location was terrible, it feels like you are driving into the point of no return. There is absolutely nothing interesting for miles. Good location for business but not for family. The breakfast restaurant was bitter cold and we came down an hour and a half after they had been open. The hotel was clean and the room was clean. And there is air pollution from the many many factories around the area.

The hotel is away from any restaurants and attractions. There was an issue with our original room smelling musty and damp and hotel staff worked immediately and rectified the situation. The indoor pool water and area was rather cool and we could not stay in it very long. In our restroom, there was an exposed patch job so not very attractive. Although the staff was super, we will not stay here again.

This iz our second stay here... they are currently under remodeling... The staff is exceptionally helpful in all regards...The restaurant iz slightly expensive... but its close to all main highways... Will stay again... Hopefully remodeling will be completed...

The hotel was nice. It was in different location than what we was expecting. It was in an industrial area. It might of needed more signs or information of where it was located. We had 2 children with us under the age of 6 and it was nice not to have to worry about traffic. The pool was closed for routine cleaning on Monday, but was ok. The bar and restaurant were not marked very well. We had breakfast all 3 mornings and it was good. Overall it was nice stay and once you got used to the area it was nice. Everyone was very helpful and informative.

Location is accessible from interstate, with food and gas nearby. Heat/air unit was loud but efficient. TV worked well, but there were no guides available in room or front desk. Room was clean and comfortable.

When we first got there, the parking lot was not cleared from the previous days snow storm and it was very slippery and even more for the cars safety. The elevator made a beeping noise and would not take us to the floor we chose, but it said that we were there. The breakfast consed of water looking gvavy, ad the eggs had water all througout the bottom. There was nothing that Diabtic people can eat, except the watery eggs. There was no blow dryer in my bathroom, but I did not notice it until I got out of the shwoer, and then when we checked out,the lady at thereception desk, said that she hadn't even told housekeeping yet. On Saturday night, there was a Ball or Dance and we had drunk, loud people in our hall all night long until 4am. When we called down to reception desk, no one answered. We usually do not have bad hotel experiences, but this one- we won't go again.

No parking available. Roads were covered in slush snow and wasn't very easy to get around. Rooms were okay. The beds felt like they were pretty old not to comfortable. Not bad for price.

The Hotel is very run down. My bathroom had a countertop that didn't fit and was held up by 2x4's and plenty of old split caulk. NO floor had working ice machines. The breakfast was a disaster. My bagel had been frozen and was wet (I threw it out) and the coffee, even though the heat light was on, was stone cold. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Got a good rate for the weekend. Although the room was nice, the hallways were not heated and it was freezing. They said they provide shuttle service but you have to call in advance(does not say this on website.) Good location for the Power and Light District and bar staff was very nice. Nice staff but if you want to be pampered choose somewhere else.

Wanted to spend a night away from home to watch super bowl and just spend time together. No heat was on in the room at all. Asked the lady at the desk for warm room she said their was not any way she knew which ones were warm. After two hours of trying went home. Will not go back!

The hotel location was horrible, no restaurants or other hotels near by. It was by a train track and lake that looked very sketchy. The hotel had a horrible cigarette stinch to it. A creepy man kept knocking on my door asking for someone and pacing the hallways. People were cursing and running up and down the hallways. When I went to dinner I saw people walking the hallways smoking cigarettes. I went to inform the front desk and waiting 5-10min until I actually called the hotel # for someone to come to the front. When I returned from dinner the hotel still rinked and all the hotel staff had done was put up a sign that said no smoking. Then the group of people I turned in came and said some ugly words to me. Needless to say I didn't stay another night. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!

We enjoyed the stay. Could have better selection of breakfast. The shower handle was hard to adjust water temp.

The hotel was clean, staff friendly, breakfast had a full selection. The problem was it seemed like the hotel was deserted. It was dark like no one was home, hall in our tower was not heated and it looked like they were doing some major repairs or tearing things down.

OK hotel - could use a good scrubbing and updating. Rate was really good for last minute deal - but the room reflected the low rate.

Large room, comfortable bed, new carpet, new TV and a clean room. The breakfast was good; eggs, biscuit/gravy, waffle, fruit, cereal, yogurt, & the usual breakfast drinks. The Ramada was not as bad as some of the reviews led us to think. Of course, it is far from a 5 star but it obvious they are trying to improve the property and their service. We stayed there because it is "pet friendly" to some degree at a cost.

We waited two hours for our room to be ready, when check in was at 4 pm. We were late to our destination because of this. Their excuse was that they were completely full the night before. The room was clean I guess it was late when we finally got to go in for the first time so I really didn't pay attention. My kids were freaked out because of the condition of the hallway. It needs some serious work. The fire alarm was missing in the hallway and I never saw another one on the entire floor. The lobby is very nice and very deceiving, considering the condition of the entire hotel. We will not stay there again. Breakfast was okay. Good thing it was only one night! They offer a shuttle to the theme park but they couldn't tell us what times the shuttle ran so we couldn't use it. Why offer it??

The person at the front desk was alone and had a lot of people to check in. She was extremely patient, calm, and friendly. I did not get her name, but she was outstanding. We stayed on Friday night Oct. 19th and checked in around 9pm. Someone should check the schedule to see who worked that night and give her a raise!

Very noisy floor on the first night of stay into wee hours of the morning. Nice to have a bar and some food and continental breakfast.

Stayed here with another family for the weekend and were disappointed. The pool was cold and dirty, enough were the kids (5) didn't even want to stay in the pool to swim. The breakfast was less than average and the beds were not very comfortable. The overall condition of the hotel was a 4 out of 10. We would not stay here again.

We stayed here in October 2012. The hotel was located really close to the city ! This was a good thing because EVERYTHING was within a 15 min drive! Close to Crown Center area, only 25 min through the city to the awesome Legends Mall by the race track . The down fall is that you don't know how old the building is till you pull up to it. The immediate surroundings is a older industrial area. It is a great location because it was really quiet at night!!! The big surprise was the furniture in the room! Everything was modern and updated except the TV, but you get what you pay for, and we were not there for the TV. A really big disappointment was the pool! The kids were looking forward to swimming , until we looked at the pool! It needed a good scrubbing and a chemical balance check! But the price was right, it worked good for our buisy vacation!

We enjoyed our time sightseeing and only spent a small amount of time at the hotel. First night we discovered the Shower in our room on the 4th floor did not work, so we were moved to another room, that was exactly the same size, but on the 3rd floor instead. This one did have a working shower. The website advertised a Pool, but it was half indoors and half outdoors and unheated.

we have stayed at this hotel several times and for the most part it is good, carpet needs to be replaced and they need to clean or replace the chairs in the rooms. the room we had this time was ok, beds were comfortable and the room was clean except the carpet and there was some stains on the chairs.

we booked this hotel because they had an inside pool so I can swim with my grandkids 2 and 5 that live in KC, the pool is indoor /outdooor meaning that half is outside and a garage door is closed to keep out cold, whole room was cold and water was cold so we could not swim with kids, lobby staff said they could not turn up locked thermostat for pool room, even though you could see it was set very low. Also thet had a band that was playing so loud we did not sleep untill they were done about 2:15 in the morning. I would not stay here again

The room was nice. The location was close to the casinos. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only down side was the party going on in the conference room. The music was so loud it was vibrating our room until about 2 am. I might use it again for the price.

I was not at all happy when the restaurant/bar closed at 8:00 p.m. We checked in after a long day and wanted to eat at the hotel. The restaurant/bar closed early because they didn't have enough help. We had to change rooms because the TV didn't work. The second room, a no smoking room, smelled of smoke and the smoke alarm and a shower cap covering it. Obviously, the previous guest had smoked in the room. The shower curtain was held in place by an ink pen. I reported all of this to the front desk the next morning. The clerk said that she would make a report, she made no other inquiry of my stay.

The staff was very helpful and you can't beat the price. Keep in mind that this hotel was in the first phase of renovation. I never heard any loud noises coming from the construction. I can see that this could be a very nice place once they've addressed and updated many of the hotels features. In the meantime, the sign near the street needs to be replaced as soon as possible. it's very faded and we almost didn't see the hotel because of it.

Terrible breakfast! Terrible air conditioner! Everything else was just fine.

We were surprised to see the con x event at this hotel. I had two youth with me so they enjoyed the event. BUT there was evening events scheduled right out sided my room. The noise disturbed my much needed sleep. The room smelled very musty when we entered it. There was no no one at the front desk when I wanted to check out. A girl named Norma strolled in a few minutes later. She had nothing on that would indicted she worked there. I asked her her name. When we checked in there was just one person working the front desk which was not enough for the size of the hotel. The internet was not always working and when it did it was very , VERY slow. I could go on but you get the picture.

Beds were uncomfortable, picked ramada also due to having a pool and fitness room, both were under maintaince while we stayed. Was cheap though.
