I loved the hotel and would stay there again. The only complaint I had about my room was the towels. They were very old and scratchy. I asked for one off of the cart from the housekeeper and I got new soft ones. They need to replace them entirely.

Price and location were the perfect compromise for a beer geek and foodie romantic getaway. Great spot to start a nice day of hiking around town to eat and drink yourself silly, while still keeping all trips under 2 miles in any direction. Incredible! also, didn't even notice that the front desk printed out daily events on complimentary itineraries until we were checking out. We'll check them out next time!

This hotel is just fine. Older but nicely reno'd rooms. Nice lobby. Nice staff. Not the very best stretch near union sq, but just fine. Near to transp etc. BUT this hotel often has low prices so expect some younger guests. A high school group was staying on our floor. They smoked weed and set off a fire extinguisher, which set off the fire alarm, which meant evacuating the hotel. At 3am. With a baby. So...no issues with the hotel. Nice place. But be aware that this price point means dealing with some yabbos.

The room was ok. But, the area around the hotel is SCARY! The elevators broke down and I was on the 5th floor. The stairs are STEEP!! Good luck

The #1 thing about hotel abri is it's location. Only a steps from the BART, close to all the great shops Right across from Infusion Nightclub. Staff was so friendly. Hotel was sooo beautiful. I stayed with four friends in one of the office suites. The pull out sofa bed was a little uncomfortable for one friend so he slept on the floor.

I am very satisfied with hotel abri! The staff was very accommodating and made very good suggestions on places to see. The hotel is at a good location, central to all the tourist spots. I will definitely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful time hotel abri!

A nice boutique hotel convenient to Muscone Convention Center. Rooms facing the street can be a little noisy. This is my 3rd stay at the hotel and I the quality of the rooms and the service has been consistently good.

i live in L.A. & I love to go to S.F., whenever I get the chance. It's my favorite city in the State of California. Hotel Abri is located in the perfect location of the city. I love the hotel staff & the resteraunt next door. It has a wonderful happy hour, cheap & a wonderful delicous menu. Make sure to get a room with a window. The rooms are super small & you'll feel stuck in a closet if you don't get a window.

We were initially put in a small room that we feel would have been comfortable for one person but surely not two. When we mentioned in a casual conversation that the room was quite small for two people they offered to relocate us to a larger room of the same type we reserved. Throughout our stay the entire staff greeted us either by name or just a friendly welcome which was beyond what we expected yet much appreciated. We definately will be back to Hotel Abri on our next trip to San Francisco

Great location and very friendly staff. Room is a bit small and no breakfast included. Enjoyable stay though.

Rooms are a bit small but hotel very conveniently located with lots of options to eat within 10mins walk around. Staff at reception very friendly, smiling and helpful. Thanks

It's an older hotel that got renovated and remodeled. Nice decor and restorations. The service is pretty close to horrible. It's in downtown San Francisco so parking is already a burden. Like all hotels, there must be a valet. This hotel did not have a valet employee, did not receive a bellboy going in or leaving the hotel, and took over half an hour to get a fresh set of towels. I don't ask for much from a hotel. I'm not rich nor do I act like it. I just want to notify that the basic services are not available at this hotel. This is a pretty expensive hotel (up there alongside with the Westin St. Francis and The W), I would expect their service to be at par.

I have stayed at the Abri many times. I have never had a negative experience. The front desk staff are the nicest people and are always looking for ways to make your stay even better. I always ask for an inside room so I don't have to deal with the street noise which they grant. I was even upgraded during this stay so thank you again Hotel Abri. I will be seeing you again!

This hotel is my new favorite place to stay in San Francisco. It's a lovely oasis in a neighborhood with lots happening - shopping, cable car, Bart, Union Square, and restaurants all at your doorstep. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room very comfortable with top of the line bedding. Yes, for sure, I'll be back!

Charming hotel. Seemed like a converted turn of the century mansion or something. The internet was free, which seems unusual these days. The ventilation was not great though, it seemed a little stuffy. Overall, it was nice.

Hotel was slightly challenging to find, tucked between a Subway and a noisy restaurant. The rooms are small, but well appointed. Our room which was on the back side ("courtyard" which actually looks out at other buildings) was quiet. Busy restaurant on the front side of the building.

Great hotel with friendly helpful staff. Restaurant is also fun place for delicious Italian food. Will stay again.

the hotel was located close to union square and convenient for shopping and sight seeing, the room was clean and it good condition for the age of the hotel. We enjoyed out stay

Close to the cable cars, busses, shopping, a little jewel tucked away on Ellis Street. We weren't expecting anything quite this nice. Staff was very welcoming. Clean, great decor, it was just perfect for our SF getaway. Even top-notch amenities!

Great hotel - Excellent location...close to Powell and Market Streets, famous cable car, and BART (super easy to get from airport to hotel via BART - only one block away from hotel) - Super courteous and helpful staff - Clean room albeit a bit small but if you're just in the room to sleep then it's fine plus bed was comfy. Definitely would recommend to others.

Super friendly staff, great feel and look. Modern and classy with and also kept some original elements (but fully updated). Location can't be beat. Easy walk about at night for dinner, close to financial district, and other tourist places. At the hotel, I used the business center immediately on arrival to quickly get some docs printed. It was late and was glad that the center was open and worked very smoothly and effortlessly. I had room service, tasty italian.

The overall stay in this hotel was top notch. My girlfriend and I decided to visit the San Fran area for valentines day and to visit some friends. It was her first time in the bay so it was important to pick a hotel that really was a segway to the beauty and lifestyle of SF. We called the hotel to inquire about the hotel. We spoke to Tyler. We intend on calling a few hotels but it was a one stop shop because of his superb customer service. He gave us some great idea's on what to do with our time there. ie wine tasting in Sonoma/Nappa Valley. We drove from SD and arrived in SF the night before our check-in date and stayed with some friends. The next morning at about 9, we called and spoke to Calli (awesome) and asked if we could check in early. She told us to come on down and they would take care of us. Very pleasant to speak with by the way. Upon are arrival the valet and the staff was very attentive. They unpacked our car and took it right up to our room. When we got to our room, my detail oriented girlfriend noticed that we reserved a queen bed but we were give a full bed. I called down to the front desk and spoke with Calli once again and explain the situation. She check our reservation and immediately upgraded us to a California King room. Bell-hop came right up and moved our bags for us. Awesome. The location was perfect, right next to the Mall where we did LOTS of shopping in the Heart of Union Square. We had so much fun we stayed an extra night! We had a great time! looking forward to staying there again.

Wae cloes to my daughter and easy to get almost any where. Staff was very friendly and acomadating. It takes a little time to get your vechile plan 15 mins early.

Everything was fine, but the neighborhood scared the pants off me and I'm from East LA!!! I guess it's normal for San Fran but if you're not used to it, it's a shock. I was informed that they're all just harmless crack addicts, which I'm sure is true but the sheer number of them is startling.

This is a great little hotel that is in an excellent location in central San Francisco. One block from Union Square and the cable car line. The rooms are small. European in size and feel. But the rooms are very well appointed, clean, and comfortable. Our room had a desk and chair, big flat screen, a one person reclining couch with ottoman, and queen bed. The bathroom has been completely redone. Don't miss the happy hour or dinner in the restaurant downstairs, Puccini and Pinneti. Three dollar wines and five dollar snacks during the happy hour. Food and service at dinner are excellent with northern Italian cuisine.

Bright and fancy looking hotel with helpful staff whose dress code apparently includes pure black hair. Located right in front of Infusion Lounge. The only gripe I have is that the room was pretty noisy due to the AC embedded into the window -- it was fine with me, but if you are planning to go to sleep before the city does, it might be a problem.

The hotel is walking distance to Union Square and the Powell St BART station. Hotel is well kept with a courteous staff. A restaurant, Puccini & Pinetti is connected to the hotel. Good food and has a local crowd. The hotel has rooms that face the street and rooms that are around an interior open space (not to be considered a courtyard) so there is no street noise. The rooms have flat panel TV and work desk with free WiFi in the room. My room was small as it is an older hotel. Would stay here again.

The staff and hotel were both very nice. Convenient location near Union Square and th BART station. The only concern of mine was the noise from the crowd on the street late on Saturday night.

The Hotel Abri feels like they took an old crappy hotel and remodeled. The problem is that the basic shape of the rooms stayed the same. You are paying a good amount and only get about three quarters what you pay for. Overall not a bad place, but not worth the price.

This hotel is in a great location. Close to BART, cable cars, buses,shopping and dining. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but nice. They have a good happy hour in the attached restaurant. I would definitely stay here again.

From the pictures these rooms looked a lot larger than they actually were. The room was incredibly cramped compared to what I was expecting. But on the plus side the robes were amazing and the bathroom had an alright shower. The menu for their food was bunk but at least I could walk to a better eatery with the location it was at. So, overall, I was very disappointed with the size of the room, but the stay wasn't all that bad - even with the great view of a brick wall.

A very nice hotel. It is unfortunately across the street from a club that, at least on Saturday night, attracts way too much noise to offer a decent rest.

Very cute boutique hotel in a great location in the city. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable too..

The hotel is great. The only problem is if you have a room on the street side, it is extremely noisy until the wee hours of the morning. But it's clean, has great service and is in a great location if you can handle the noise.

Hotel exceeded all expectations, for such a price we had no idea we could get a 4 star comfort in the heart of the city. Very modern design, cozy interior and super friendly service. It's a little noisy on weekends since there's a club right across the street, so till 2am its very loud, the only down side. Great experience , highly recommended!

While the location is good, the room I was in really stuffy and had a musty odor. Pigeons were using the window air conditioner as a toilet. The tv system is very slow to respond. The bed was cozy. Overall, I'm surprised this hotel has such a high rating.
