Embassy Suites Hotel San Diego - La Jolla - سان دييجو

The suite was roomy and clean. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was A little drive to the beaches, but closest to Blacks Beach and glider port. Also close to Torrey Pines. Had to pay $20 for reserved parking, but if you are lucky there are some free spaces available.

It was a pleasant stay, room was of a good size. Great Free Breakfast buffet and drinks and snacks at night. Outdoor Jacuzzi was good too. The only thing I had a problem with was too much Clorox in the pool area. Since it was indoor pool the ventilation was really poor, the Clorox was getting in my eyes, but water was clean and warm. Sauna was a little crowded at the time and since people were getting in and out all the time it wasn't as hot as it should be. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

It was our fault that we didn't realize the time we were visiting was also Spring Break for MANY kids, so the hotel was quite crowded with many, many students and their parents. For the most part, they were well behaved, just loud, although the staff seemed to get a bit behind in cleaning up old room service trays from the hallways and items left outside the elevators on our floor. The staff was exceptionally nice, particularly the staff working to clean up the morning buffet tables. A few things have been said before about this hotel, that still hold true. The acoustics were bad whenever we stepped out of our 7th floor room, due to the open air way the hotel is configured. This also made the clorine smell from the pool and spa drift throughout the hotel. The parking lot was designed by someone with no concept of what made sense and what did not. Once you are above the first floor, you are praying that another car isn't coming down while you're going up, as there is not enough room for 2 cars to be side by side. It is horribly configured. This all being said....the hotel is in a nice neighborhood with restaurants and a mall close by, between 2 major freeways and the rooms are nice, fairly large and well kept up. The price was right and we'd stay there again, just not during Spring Break.

It was clean, convenient and the breakfast buffet was very good.

The unfriendliness of the front desk person and the strong odor of commercial cleaners by the room made me regret booking this hotel. The beds were tiny and the. furniture looked cheap. I give the experience 2 out of 5.

Wonderful hotel close to mall and attractions

Staff was very helpful, especially the night Manager Adam, as well as the day Manager Zurco. The most impressive person was Kelsey and her staff who works in the bar/restaurant.

Overall, safe and comfortable location where you can park your car, enjoy th Happy Hour ...then walk to dinner at PF Changs....then wake up and enjoy a grey breakfast buffet in the lobby.

Seemed a little less upscale than most Embassies. Park your own car for $20?

I like the rooms - but the overall design of all Embassy Suites (with the central atrium) makes the whole hotel loud. Echos abound and some of that filters into the room. Embassy Suites needs to get a new architect who understands acoustic - while preserving the optics.

Hotel cleanliness was fantastic (and we are pretty picky in that regard). Comfortable beds, great complimentary buffet breakfast. A little irritating that they nickel and dime at an excessive rate for things like wi-fi (ten a day) and parking (twenty a day), but what hotel doesn't? If one really needs internet there is a computer room with three or four computers to access the internet for free, but get there early or you'll be waiting. Pool was great, fitness center was great; both clean. Staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. Convenient location right across from the mall, close-by eateries, and drug stores, grocery stores, etc. Very easy access to the freeway. We will definitely stay here again when in San Diego.

We stayed at this Embassy Suites meeting up there with some friends who also stayed there. We wound up eating in the restaurant on Friday night. The wait staff was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We enjoyed the manager's reception prior to dinner and the breakfast the following morning exceeded our expectations. The one negative was after we checked in we discovered that there is an additional fee for parking that I did not catch when I booked this hotel through Hotels.com.

enjoyed the indoor swimming pool, continental breakfast specially the omelettes--cooks' friendly faces as well as the ladies cleaning the tables. unfortunately, my daughter's cell phone got lost/stolen while we were at church; also, one of the rooms wasn't ready until 6:30 p.m. Hotels.com told me that it is an adjoining room--that didn't happen. however, our two cars we got free parking in return. We have to ask for it.

My family have always liked staying at ES. Breakfast in the morning cuts down on the scramble to wake up early and leave. Rooms are nice. The staff I dealt with personally were all nice.

The suite does not sleep 5 unless three share a king size bed. The hotel was completely booked because there were high school basketball players staying there for a tournament. They were all very polite. I like the fact that directions are pre-preinted at the desk so it takes no time to get directions and you can take them with you.

I booked this on http://Hotels.com and was so pleased with the price even before we arrived. We were traveling with kids, so I was pleased to find the room spacious and very clean. The hotel lobby etc was very nice. The even had fish and provided food for the kids to feed the fish! The breakfast had something for everyone and is always a nice touch. The reason for the five star rating is because of the service! Scott not only helped us to our room with graciousness at 1 a.m. but also found my wallet the next night in the business center and kept at the front desk for me. It could have been awful, but thanks to him it wasn't. Fast forward three hours and I left my camera charger in the room. The found it for me! So, thank you Embassy Suites for rescuing this absent minded tourist. We will stay again in the future!

Please extend the breakfast hours. We saw people return without breakfast. Do you know they chose this hotel because of the morning breakfast attraction, Be aware of the business.

My family enjoys staying at Embassy Suites because of the great amenities for our family of 5. This hotel was very nice and had many of the great things we expected - awesome breakfasts, indoor pool, convenient location. The one problem we had was the parking. Not only did we have to pay $20 a night, getting in and out of the parking structure was not easy.

Our over all experience in the hotel was very satisfactory and pleasant.. The front desk staff who assisted us was very nice, helpful, and a pro. The room was very clean, cozy, and has a very comfortable king size bed. The location is very convenient to malls, shops, and restaurants. Yes, we would recommend this hotel to everyone for sure. It is quite impressive. Two thumbs up!

Great hotel staff. All very friendly and accommodating. Complimentary breakfast and happy hour for hotel guest is an added bonus. The koi pond and meandering brook on the first floor atrium creates nice ambiance to have morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. Room was quite nice and seemingly completely sound proof as we didn't hear any of the patrons down below on the first floor. The bed provide the best sleep I've had in months. The only down side is the parking structure. Very tight and cramped. No elevator and no clearly defined direction of travel to make your way through the structure. Overall, a gem. Would stay again.

found the staff very helpful and friendly despite such a busy time of year. Everything was very professional and done with a smiling and positive attitude.Would suggest $20 parking is re-examined as it is not neccessary otherwise would definately revisit!

As an overall, we're satisfied stayed at the ES at La Jolla, San Diego, CA.

All and all this is a very nice hotel to stay in if your in the San Diego area, and I would stay there again. The only issue I had was the added parking fee for parking even if you’re staying there. I mean really how many people are walk ins! Everyone has a car they need to park. While this information is way down the bottom of the web page their pricing is not a true reflection of the price of a nightly stay. This was the only negative I had with my stay. Unfortunately it left me with a feeling of being taken a little and that colored what would otherwise have been a very nice experience. Also they charge extra for internet service. In this day and age.. really!!! Most budget motels and Mc Donald’s give you free internet. Seems like such a nice place does themselves a disservice nickel dimeing you.

it is quite dangerous for a older person to shower because it is very slippery. There is nothing to prevent a person from injurying themselves.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful!! Beautiful hotel, excellent service and the breakfast buffet as well as the manager reception were very nice.. Definitely would stay here again.

For a very reasonable room rate, comparable to hotels with small rooms and continental breakfasts, you get a 2-room suite, complete with sofa bed in the sitting room, a TV in each room of the suite, all the standard amenities, and an amazing full breakfast, including an omelet bar. My family loves this place!

great experience overall, clean room, view, nice room configuration, close to numerous restaurants and highways we needed to access during stay. parking - beware parking offsite is very limited and a considerable daily fee is charged for parking garage. pool/fitness - pool/spa/fitness areas seemed small given the size of a 12 story Hotel, but we did stay during a very busy weekend. breakfast buffet - was good but I recall a more grand buffet from stays at other embassy suites in the past. room not ready when we arrived at 4 pm.

Parking can be a problem. Also, breakfast although free can be a zoo , with spilled milk and a million kids

The rooms are spacious and have a mini frig and microwave. There are 2 flat screen TVs in each room so there is no fight between family members on watching their favorite shows. The breakfast is delicious and offers a lot of options given that it is free. The PF Changs restaurant next door is a big plus to grab a nice meal if you don't feel like driving to other restaurants.

Great hotel, enjoyed the complimentary breakfast---lots to choose from, early evening snacks and wine/drinks was nice too. Comfortable, spacious and clean rooms. Shopping mall across the street is added bonus. $20 parking fee/day I thought was a bit excessive.

We checked in and had an absolutley wonderful stay for 2 nights that we actually cancelled our 3rd night for a beachside hotel to stay again at the Embassy Suites. Every morning we had cooked to order breakfast and then relaxed in the spa/pool and suana before heading out to explore the area. Great location to beaches, San Diego, and shopping. All in all, great experience. I cant wait to come back.

The hotel is great... Rooms are very spacious, with two separate areas. The hotel location and amenities are great. They had diverse breakfast and a happy hour that suprised us. The restroom inside our room was not really clean. Make sure to ask housekeeping to double check once you are checked in.. Overall everything was good we left very satisfied. Good for families...

Convenient for business travel.

This hotel is a great value for the quality of the room. The room was comfortable, quiet, and conveniently located close the freeway. There is a shopping center on the west side of the 5 fwy that has several grocery stores, restaurants, and stores for all your needs. We loved the suite setup with two separate flat screen tvs and the pullout bed. Our family of 4 slept well. The cook-to-order omelette was good, but the pancakes were a bit rubbery and flavorless. Our room had a great view and you could even see a beautiful white castle looking building in the distance. We would definitely stay here again.
