No complaints about the hotel itself and its staff.The only complaint was its location close to the station... trains were running all night and our room was located such that the noise was loud througout the night, and rather disturbing.

They were so helpful and after a stressful time at the airport, i don't know how they did it but my attitude went from sour to positive...

Clean and comfortable rooms, great staff, fantastic service. I travel for work (35 states each year) and the staff here is some of the best I've seen at this tier of hoteI; cheery, knowledgeable and capable. I requested a cab the night before and it was promptly waiting for me. Just if you don't know the Philly area-- this hotel is about a 10 minute cab ride from anything you might want to do; not at all a bad thing, but just not super near much. If that's not an issue; stay here. It's great.

I liked the hotel. The staff were friendly. They include breakfast, which had a good selection. Basket of cookies at front desk provided for mid-day snack. It was a very busy seating area where you sat down to eat. It was convenient to the school my son had his graduation.

This hotel was directly across from the river and we were able to walk to many things. The hotel provides shuttle service to any where within several blocks which was great. The shuttle drivers were really friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was really good although I would have liked to see some healthier choices. Three things really bugged us: 1. the bathroom door was sprung and made a really loud screeching noise. Both days we were there I asked the front desk to do something about it and they said they would and didn't. 2. The hotel charges $25/day to park your car. I did not see this on the website when I booked. After the fact I did find it under "parking". It should have been more obvious. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was price. When you add in the cost of parking the total cost was equal to or higher than other hotels. 3. The housekeeping lady was very loud and very rude. Several people had the "quiet" signs on their doors at 8 a.m. and she was yelling down the hall and making all kinds of loud noise. When I said I would be leaving in a few minutes she asked me to bring her my trash can. When I said I would be leaving she ROLLED HER EYES AT ME! It was only 8:45, not like I was pushing the check out time.

Right next dor to construction,and basically right on the freeway the noisest Hotel i have ever stayed at.

I was there a few months prior when it was comfort inn and three renovations look great! Staff very friendly and understanding! They were busy so it took forever to get a refrigerator in my room but once they explained to me the problem I was OK. Great location for partying /clubbing downtown Philly! Parking a bit much but it was all worth it!

Overall, the stay was very good and the nightly cost was the best. a car not a necessity due to the shuttle service. Hotel was very well located close to the Historic District and museums.

I have stayed in many hotels before and is the first time that I as a guest had to pay $25 dollar for parking in the hotel that I was staying in. Also, for the price I paid, the room seem so pathetic no closet, no mini fridge and a very small bathroom. I stayed overnight, and I must say. It's not worth the price I paid.

I really like this hotel, it was my second stay and I would definitely stay there again on my next visit to Philadelphia!

Everything is great but you may want to skip their breakfast and hope that they get their elevator situation straightened out. It is slow and clunky and takes a long time arriving at your floor and an even longer time gettng you to the lobby.

I was in Philadelphia for a sporting event, and this hotel was accessible to the sports complex south of town via a relatively short cab ride. The property is situated next to I-95, which made for a bit of a noisy stay. There is a free shuttle that can take customers to the interesting sites in the historic district, but the second day I got tired of waiting for a ride so I walked the few blocks into town. The room was clean and wireless worked well. Overall it was a reasonably priced option that suited my needs.

This hotel was nice and safe on the inside out and a cabs ride away from center city!

My wife and i had a great stay the breakfast was great and the place is easy to get to.

Nice price for a Sat night in Philly. Walking distance to good locations like South Street and the liberty bell. Plenty of restaurants and shops there. Located within 5-10 min of the Ben Franklin bridge so very easy to get out of dodge. Breakfast was eh - food was avg but it was overly crowded so we had to take the food back up to the room. Not the cleanest hotel and the parking lot was a hassle. But other than that, well worth the price.

I have stayed there numerous times as the hotel is close to our Philadelphia Old City office and if I ever have a problem or need, the staff is always so helpful.. Tori at the counter and Brian the driver gives great advice or where to go and will take you there respectively. The manager Mr. Harris is very experienced and provides excellent customer service. He has been there for years and knows the area well. The breakfast has been updated since the hotel has converted from the previous brand.

The price was right but ask for the front of the hotel as the traffic sound from the elevated highway running behind the hotel made it hard to sleep soundly. The AC/Heater unit did not have a FAN ON setting so there was no way to create white noise to help. Parking at $25 a night is steep.

Great place to stay for the price. Within walking distance to old city.

The hotel was very nice. We had to check in early and they gave us no problems. It was very nice and clean. The front desk called the cab when we needed them to. Overall we had a very pleasant experience!

Breakfast area was a circus each morning. Also, they did not refill/replace breakfast items as they emptied. Parking is also an issue, not enough spaces and $25 per night.

While the hotel itself was clean and the rooms were nice, we had a definite problem just trying to get a cup of coffee in the morning. There were several busloads of girls staying there who were all in the tiny little breakfast room at once. This amount of humanity should have been broken down into shifts in order to allow other hotel guests the opportunity to actually get something to eat. They took over every single table, chair and stool. I would not stay here again.

My stay in this hotel is eminently forgettable. Location and approach are not ideal. Reception and customer service pathetic. People who book on their web site get preference in room selection over third party bookings. The two days we were there, it was so crowded, we could not have proper breakfast when it was open. Most of the menu items were finished and were not replaced. They only said we are sorry!! Finally we had to pay $25 per day for parking even inside hotel property. Lastly there was lot of confusion over settling my final bill at check out. I had to stand in line for a long time to sort things out (Obviously there are lot of people in the same situation). I would avoid this place

The hotel was great; the parking was not. They should have mentioned parking was an additional $25 a day.

Fun hotel, clean, friendly staff, and best cinnamon buns ever at a hotel. A great find overall. Can be a bit noisy at times but overall a great deal. Please don't tell anyone.

At first I had a room that wasn't prepared but I got a beautiful room with the view of the river and the Benjamin Franklin bridge (beautiful at night). I had to ask for hot water and milk because they didn't filled them, but in general I had a good time.

There was a used wash cloth hanging in the shower when we got in the room, we found big Doritos crumbs along the perimeter of the bed, we also found a cell phone that may have belonged to a previous guest. Which means the room was not cleaned thoroughly.

We were on the 9th floor and it sounded like the freeway was running right through our room. NOT sound proof. They charge 25 dollars for parking AND then they made us move our van early in the morning because they over parked in the lot!

The Holiday Inn has done a wonderful job with the renovations of the hotel and my stay was very comfortable. The only slight inconvience was the shuttle bus.... he wouldnt specifically would go in a 2 mile radius from the hotel.

Room was clean....very nice size....the front desk personnel were very polite and helpful...the hotel was very close to the airport only 10 minutes away and the food locations were within walking distance.

This hotel is next to Hwy 95 and has very poor insulations. The high way traffic sounded extremely loud at night. Couldn’t sleep without ear plugs. The service guy at breakfast was rude and cold. There is a $25 parking fee which was not mentioned when booking this hotel.
