I was there with my girlfriends celebrating my birthday. I needed a night away from the baby and this was PERFECT!! The room was clean. The staff was great. What I enjoyed the most was the delicious coffee and waffle bar in the breakfast room. I would stay here again but not for any romantic getaway.

room was clean, comfortable, and spacious

At first arrival we had to switch rooms because of no safe. The hot tub outside was nice and relaxing. A good surrounding neighborhood, close to libraries, etc. Service was iffy, but overall, not too expensive.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. I would gladly reccomend my friends and family to stay here.

Had a great stay with family. Great location, comfy clean and reception staff very polite and helpful. Wifi was fab. Breakfast waffle maker a big hit! All in all great stay

Hotel was within walking distance to the beach but very soggy in the rain. Everything was wet. The Spa half worked and needed to ask where a working Ice Machine was.

The staff are exceptional. They are friendly, courteous, and helpful. The room accommodations are good, although the mattress was a bit too soft. Location is just off of PCH, so its easy to get to anywhere of interest. It is within walking distance of the Hermosa pier. Excellent Peruvian restaurant next door and a great old school surf shop across the street. Not a resort, but very good value for someone interested in exploring the area and then coming back to someplace comfortable to sleep. Amazingly the coffee in the Breakfast room was good too!!

Thank You Quality Inn and Suite Hermosa Beach for the nice 2 day stay at your hotel. Great parking, good breakfast in well kept dining area, nice hospitality.We will be back.

Very nice accommodations-- Staff is very pleasant and so are the other guests. This hotel has all the comforts without the gilts and frills.

First, you can't beat the location of this hotel to the beach for the price. Just a short drive or a long walk away. Second, the room was large and comfortable. It is an older motel, but well kept and clean. And to top it all off you could see the ocean from the room. You don't get that for this kind of price. Definitely recommend.

Just needed and adult night out with my husband. The room served its purpose and will definetely visit again.

Our room was spacious and immaculate. The parking was very convenient and secure. The best thing was the location. Within walking distance were the beach, pier, and many interesting restaurants. I highly recommend it.

The hotel is a 2 star hotel with a nice size room. The couch was a bit old and fabric outdated. The staff was very helpful and nice. The breakfast was plentiful and good. Just needs a bit updating but bed was comfy, the shower and room was clean, and an overall good experience.

The room was nice. Two beds was plenty of room for 3 people. My friends and I were visiting after not having seen each other in over a year and so we were having some fun catching up and telling stories and what not. We were NOT having a party or getting crazy but we received TWO phone calls from the front desk saying that a neighboring room was complaining about our noise volume. I was very annoyed by the phone calls as it was just us couple girls. I had to completely turn off the TV (at 10 pm) and practically whisper after that to avoid a third phone call which would result in a police visit. When I complained to the front desk the next morning about the pestering phone calls they told me they HAD to act when a room complained about another. The front desk attendant from the night before wrote in the complaint log that after the second phone call she physically went up to my room to listen for excessive noice but heard none. Wow.. then why the annoying phone call? I told the front desk that it was obnoxious that I had to whisper in a hotel room because of a guest who was hypersensetive to noise. The hotel did not compensate me for the inconvenience.

Convenient to all the places we wanted to visit. Very clean. Very happy with the basic breakfast on offer. would highly recommend to others!

The air conditioner didn't work in our room so both nights were warm and stuffy. Other than that, it was a very nice stay.

Reasonably priced, 15 minute walk to Hermosa pier and beach...free parking...good breakfast buffet with outdoor seating...excellent for business travelers

PAID MORE TO GET A 2 QUEEN BED ROOM. WHEN WE GOT THERE THEY "UPGRADED" TO KING SUITE. WHEN THEY CORRECTED THIS THEY GAVE US A ROOM WITH 2 DOUBLES !!!! NOT QUEEN BEDS. FREE BREAKFAST WAS NOTHING SPECIAL, BASIC READY TO EAT FOOD (MAKE YOUR OWN WAFFLE). HALLWAY AND SINGLE ELEVATOR WERE A BIT DIRTY AND RUN DOWN. IT IS DECENT PRICE FOR BEING LIKE 2 BLOCKS FROM HERMOSA PIER, I MAY RECCOMEND IT IF YOU DONT WANT TO FIND PARKING AT BEACH AND HAVE MONEY RESTRICTIONS.

I spent a lot of time looking for a decent hotel around the beach cities area. Most were 2-2.5 stars, and most had a few scary reviews. The Quality Inn was a pleasant surprise. The room was very large and very clean. There is a small fridge, which is nice. The sound proofing was quite good, we were only on the second floor, but could not hear the traffic, or the rowdy people in the breakfast room right across the hall. It is a little hike to the beach, uphill on the way back, but that is the same for all the hotels by the PCH. The included breakfast in nice, fresh pastries and fruit, cereal, waffle maker, etc. A good assortment and staff constantly replenishing supplies.

We enjoyed our stay here - big room, good breakfast. But the electrics and plumbing were a bit dodgy. The fridge wasn't working when we arrived, or even after their engineer came to fix it, but suddenly jumped into life with an enormous bang in the middle of the night. When the loo got blocked the engineer came after 10pm when we were in bed as we had to be up at 4am for our flight home.

Desk clerk barely spoke English. Guests made noise ALL night. Manager made no attempt to address the problem or provide satisfactory arrangement. Room smelled musty as did hallway. Will not ever recommend this place.

great location, good bang for th ebuck, can walk to pier ave restos, bars & clubs, perfect for an anti-DUI weekend

This location has been there for a while but it has been maintained well. The people are super and accommodating. I will continue to use this location when in the LA area.

Everything about this hotel seemed fine. The location was noisy, but it was close to where we needed to go. Check-in was easy. The room seemed nice and clean; until we went to sleep. The last occupant had obviously vomited in the room, and the floor near the bedside was wet. The smell was obnoxious. We thought we could open a window and make it better, but it didn't seem to help. We thought about changing rooms in the middle of the night, but knew we were getting up and out early so tried to bear with the smell. When we went to check out in the morning, we explained to the front desk person that they should not put another guest in the room until the room was cleaned again. We got a half-hearted apology and an okay about cleaning the room. Other than the smell, which was hopefully only in our room, the hotel seem fine. - We could also have received a more apologetic response from the front desk.

This hotel could use an update. Old beds and outdated carpet gave the feeling I was at a cheap motel I wiould find along Highway 99 NOT in Redondo Beach!

Very convenient. Low Key, clean comfortable, service was polite and NOT IN YOUR FACE, good breakfast. Weather was lousy in June, but not the fault of the hotel

The location was just right since we were looking for a spot as close to our favorite restaurant as possible (New Orleans Cafe on Pier) and it was within walking distance. There were a few downsides to this hotel, like how our room did not have a remote for the tv. When I called the front desk to inquire about it, all they could do was apologize. Alex at the front was such a nice guy, I didn't want to make an issue of it and just let it go. The continental breakfast that was included in our hotel stay was a disappointment. It was pitched in just the right way, talking about Belgian Waffles on a sunny Terrace. There were one waffle iron, each one took 5 minutes to cook and this becomes an issue if there are more than 5 people waiting to use the thing. I think that there might have been eggs and bacon but, we can't really be sure because all we saw were two greasy, empty aluminum pans. No, we didn't show up at the end of breakfast either, I believe breakfast was between 7-10am and we were there by 8am.
