W Atlanta Buckhead - أطلانطا

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. Even when I travel for business I like to be in the "happening spots" but I still expect to have a quiet room where I feel comfortable sleeping. I was put in an adjoining room and was woken up each night by people yelling down the hallway and partying in the room next door and it started around 11pm and went until 3pm each night. Not only that but my room was never fully cleaned - the ironing board was always left out and anything else that looked like it required effort was not attended to. I have stayed in W Hotels before and always loved them but this experience has made me never want to stay in another one unless I'm partying at 3am and need somewhere to crash!

The staff was extremely helpful and very professional. Rooms were very clean; bed was amazingly comfortable. The restaurant, Market, is one of the best I've ever visited. Every item we ordered was perfect!

Our stay at the W in Buckhead was disappointing in every way. The pool was not "officially" open which no one mentioned before, or at, arrival. One of the reasons we chose the W was because of the rooftop pool, so this was an unpleasant surprise. There were no cushions on the pool chairs and no poolside service. It was an 86 degree day in Atlanta in late April. It was ridiculous that guests had to go down to the lobby to order drinks and bring them back up to the pool. I asked three separate staff people about helping me get towels for the pool and they told me to use my room towels. When they cleaned the room they only left us two replacement towels, instead of four, and did not replenish the soap and shampoo supply. There was no coffee maker in the room and coffee in the lobby was NOT free. At a two or three-star hotel you typically get free coffee and more soap/shampoo daily. It felt like the W was being cheap and it certainly isn't an inexpensive hotel. There was a loud argument at 3:00 am in the hall at 3:00 am. The hair dryer died and the toilet was broken. The hotel was full of young people and it seems to cater to a "cool, hip party crowd" as opposed to a more mature, discerning traveler who expects and appreciates the quality and amenities that are typical of a true 4-star hotel. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it to friends.

This was a girls weekend. Hard to walk around to any restaurants and bars. The hotel had great customer service and was always very accomadating. The bar/club was fun to go to, but not really any dancing.

The bathroom had no privacy- sink in room like a cheap motel, sliding panels all that shut the toilet off. Parking was pricey even for ATL, and the A/C had three levels- noisy, noisier and noisiest. Too bad, as the staff is pleasant and they take dogs without a HUGE fee. But downsides outweigh ups. Won't be staying there again on one of our frequent trips to ATL.

We were unhappy with the layout of the shower. One cannot turn on the shower without getting wet. One other complaint, the walls must be thin; it's fairly noisy in the room with people in hallway talking at normal voice level. It's a clean hotel; the front desk staff and Market restaurant staff were helpful.

The hotels conceier staff was outstanding....going above and beyond....I forgot what real service was ...special thanks to Scott. Amazing service by all!

We loved every minute of the hotel. The location was amazing and the room was a true getaway.

We had an incredible time at the W Atlanta

The hotel is very nice and very convenient to shopping, restaurants, and the highway. The staff is very professional and friendly. The only drawback that I have is the parking and its cost which is $36.00/per. I believe that this is the avg cost of parking for the surrounding hotels, but if you have a guest coming to visit, there is no place for them to really sit, and idle for a short period of time. The parking is run by a secondary party. Be aware that on Saturdays, the restaurant turns into a nite club and the entrance/roadway to get to the hotel becomes very congested and you will be waiting to get up to the hotel and to park.

Me & a couple of friends stayed here and it was exactly what we were looking for. The location was ideal and the hotel was extremely comfortable and the staff where all great. Felica checked us in and she was really helpful in placing us in a great room, and the Valet parker "Greg" was extremely pleasant as well. If your look for someone where nice to stay with out paying to much then this is your spot. They do however make up in cost when they charge you for parking and internet. I think charging for internet is so obsolete. If you want to save money parking in the Lennox parking lot and walk over i guess. But it's well worth the price.

A friend & I celebrated his 50th Birthday weekend and found a deal on Hotels.com that was outstanding. The hotel is close to Marta. Rooftop Bar was a great way to begin the weekend. popular spot for tourists, next door to the Westin and Lenox Sq. Mall, Maggianos Restaurant across the street. You'll want a room on the odd # side of the bldg because the even side faces the parking garage. Only faults, It appears as if the bed size is a Queen even though you pay for a King. My IPOD docking station in room 708 didn't work.

Awesome place

The hotel is fantastic, the concierge is very helpful and friendly. The linens are plush and it will be hard for you to leave your bed-especially since they have black out drapes. Parking is a little steep but well worh the service.

Good hotel as always, I was a bit disappointed this time because I paid literally double for a "Fabulous" room instead of a "Standard" room, but I could not tell the difference. Staff, as usual, friendly but not up to the service of this class of hotel. Service was more like Holiday Inn caliber.

is this a hotel or a night club? they have a band in the lobby till 11pm that is very loud. Dont plan on sleeping. Bathroom is actually in the room and the size of a gas station bathroom. very small. when i called the front desk and complained about the band they actually offered me earplugs! what kind of hotel has earplugs in stock. that tells you something.

Staff very gracious and helpful. No nightly turndown.....Lack of some amenities in bathroom.....Bathrooms very small and confining..... daily parking fees way out of sight.... Market restaurant outstanding.....

Parking is $32! Rooms are really Small, Hotel was really loud!!

My Girlfriend and I stayed in the W Atlanta for a one night stay for a little getaway to downtown. the rooms were very nice and the staff was helpful. Make sure you check out the top floor on the front side of the building. There is a large clear glass block that you can stand on that hangs slightly over the edge of the hotel walls. Will give you the hibby jibbies to look down while standing on it. The Price of the mandatory Valet parking was a little steep but not sure how it compares to anywhere else in Buckhead. Overall we had a blast and would stay here again!

The W is a pretty cool hotel. The staff was probably the best resource. I often feel like a rockstar, and was treated as such. From the valet to the front desk staff they were very attentive. The rooms were REALLY contemporary which looks okay, but it may implore a required taste. Having guest, as time approached to have privacy in the bathroom, it was indeed a chore. There are stained glass windows on the adjoing wall to the living area, as well as to the bathroom door so total privacy is really not an option. The location doesn't get much better. It is in the center of everything, and is within walking distance to Lenox Square Mall. For the single male travelers the scenery is great as well. The night life in the hotel is vibrant. I stayed on the 11th floor just below one of the night clubs, and it was a bit noisy, which the front service desk asked me if I were okay with during check in. It wasn't overwhelming, and it subsided around 2am when the club closed, so I didn't mind to much. I hear that all floors below this one really had no noise issues. Overall, it is a really cool place. I'm 33 with a youthful exuberance, still, somewhat abound. I think the 25-40 age range would really love, and appreciate the hotel, and the location.

Great location...nice lobby...but room was very small and the bathroom even smaller. The room was also VERY loud...could hear everything going on in the hallway. I would never stay there again...lots of better options in the area.

Very good service and well located in a very nice area

This is a lovely hotel, clean, convenient and with a very friendly and helpful staff. There is a wonderful restaurant (pricey) on site and the lobby sections off into cozy, private seating areas during the evening. There are other restaurants within walking distance, too. The decor is contemporary and the entire hotel is very clean. I would recommend this hotel and consider staying here again.

bathroom/toilet i felt was an after thought too small and disconnected.

Nice cozy W in great neighborhood. Great vibe at Whiskey Blue bar. The only thing they need to fix is their valet parking: it's very cumbersome and had on one night had to wait 30 min for my car. But I would still recommend this W...one of the nicer ones I've stayed.

This place was horrible for the price that I got and the people at the hotel were rude. They didnt care about making my stay warm and welcome. Then when I was checking out I was charged for food when I never even went to the restraunt to eat.

We had an awful experience at this hotel. I thought it would be a comfortable stay and invited a friend along who was 8 months pregnant. We arrived and the valets were talking to friends and not paying any attention to their customers- we ended up leaving the car with keys for them to eventually find. On top of that we were unable to get a nights rest as the music and overall loudness of the hotel was unbearable. I went to sleep to pounding music and woke up at 4.30AM to yet still more music. Overall this was a horrible mistake and had I known I definitely would not have invited my friend who went sleepless at 8 months pregnant.

Felicia Emanuel, Robert, Izzy....were outstanding...the hotel was extremely accomodating...We loved everything about it! We will stay there over and over as we return to visit Buckhead! Thank you!

My sister and I shared a room in this very stylish, comfortable, and clean hotel. The location was very convenient There was no self parking. We paid $30 per day for valet parking in the hotel's lot. I did not see any free or discounted overnight parking right around the hotel. The bathroom had a frosted glass door and another frosted window. While the glass was stylish, it reduced privacy. Depending on where you are standing in the bathroom and which lights are on, someone can see the person standing inside with some detail. I did not think this feature was worth the aesthetics. While I was working in the room's only table, using in-room internet costing $22 for two days, I heard what may have been the sound of construction work somewhere inside the hotel. The sound resembled a whale's mating call, which complemented the ocean waves sound of the in-room SoundSpa sound machine. We had dinner in the Market restaurant inside the hotel. The food and atmosphere were excellent. When we had time to eat breakfast in the restaurant on Saturday morning, we were surprised to learn the restaurant was not open for breakfast. We chose dishes from the same menu but had to eat in the lounge area. At least the lobby was quiet that morning. My sister used the exercise room. The high-tech treadmill took some effort to figure out. The view of Neiman Marcus in the Lenox Square shopping mall was not particularly scenic. I saw some families with children, but I would not judge this hotel to be very family friendly. The rooms are not large enough for children to move around. Four people in a regular size room might find themselves tripping over each other. With small children, I suppose that could be fun in some way. In summary, the W Buckhead is a very pleasant hotel with warm and responsive staff. I would stay here again if I do not have my family with me. Hard to believe a few years ago the same building was Days Inn. The modern stylish aestethics are as good as it gets in Atlan

The room was nice with the exception of two things - the sheets were clean but did not have that fresh clean smell and the bathroom shower stall needed cleaning in the corners. The style of the room was nice n very retro. The roof top lounge was excellent. Nice layout and the atmosphere was good. The hotel staff were all very pleasant and professional.

Very nice hotel and people working there. Only objection is glass door to toilet, giving very little privacy.

The bathroom design is the only thing which took away from the room. The doors to the bathroom were very flimsy and semi transparent. Also there wasn't a shower door to close off the shower to keep the floor from turning into a wading pool. There is just a glass separating the toilet from the shower. We stayed in a Wonderful King Room. I found out the only rooms which have full shower doors are the handicap accessible rooms.

I LOVE W Atlanta Buckhead. The people were so awesome and accommodating. They strive to keep a smile on our faces. We will only stay here when we get back to Atlanta. Oh and the rooms are great, just as shown on the pics!

Hotel was overall great. Door handle to bathroom was broken and it took two days to have someone fix it. Was disappointed it was not stated they charge $30 for overnight parking. It's comparable, though, to other Buckhead hotels. Also disappointed internet was not free in the room. They were great with our kids.

Being active duty with a girlfriend who is active duty as well makes it difficult for us to spend quality time together. We were able to meet this time in Atlanta and decided to stay at this hotel. It was an amazing place. Fantastic bar in the lobby, amazing views from the rooftop bar, the room was comfortable and quiet, just the kind of place we needed to stay at. The only drawback I saw was the requirement to valet our vehicles, which the cost was added to our bill, at $30 a night per vehicle it was a tad expensive. However, considering the deal we got on the room it was well worth it seeing as how difficult it is to find parking in Atlanta in general. I would recommend this place to anyone as I would stay here again given the chance.

I didn't want to leave my 3 day stay at the W Buckhead. Everything you'd expect from the W Brand. Luxurious and contemporary. The bed was sooo comfortable. After 3 nights there, the staff and I were like family. This hotel is right where you want to be. You are walking distance to Atlanta's best malls and the MARTA Subway Train Stop is right there at the hotel. You can walk out of the hotel and be in the MARTA system and at the airport in 30-35 minutes depending on timing. As always the W Lounge "Whiskey Blue" is a hot spot on the weekends.
