Shinagawa Prince Hotel - طوكيو

stayed in the main tower on the 30th floor

We always stay at the Shinagawa Prince when in Tokyo. The access to the JR station including the Shinkansen and narita express is so convenient and the hotel is overall nice. My only complaint is the room size is pretty small. Also I recommend only taking rooms with 2 beds because the "double" room can barely fit 1 person. The hotel also has a lot to do- a movie theater,bowling alley and aquarium are all on the premises. There is also a luggage delivery service on the2nd floor if you are travelling within Japan.

The room is small but tidy. Location is perfect, very convenient.

I stayed in the main tower and the accomadations were very good for the price. A BIG plus for me was the Airport Limousine transport directly to and from Narita as well as the location adjacent to Shinagawa Station. The hotel is convenient and well located for business travel- in addition to being value priced for Tokyo.

Great location: 200 m from the shinagawa station. Very small, old decoratet and dirty room.

Overall it was a convienent place to stay with the shinagawa station just across the road. The only disappointment was the internet fee of Yen 100 per 10 mins the computers were slow in starting-up which causes loss of time.

We enjoyed the hotel and it's location. The language barrier was only a minor inconvenience. The staff was accommodating and the quality of service was very good. Our room was located in the main tower. It should be noted the Shinagawa Prince Hotel is a convention location. The rooms are small by US standards but comfortable. The Shinagawa train station, a major junction, is across the street. A variety of restaurants in and around the hotel location.

Great value for money. Room is comfortable. Location is just across train station. Very fast train access to places like Ginza, and other popular places of interest and shopping. This is our 3rd time at this hotel, and will definitely consider this hotel for next visit.

I travelled from Osaka to Tokyo with JR pass,as such this hotel is very convenience, just opposite the train station. We stayed in the main tower and room though small but clean. Would stay here again.

This review is specifically for the North Tower. The hotel has a few towers with the North Tower being the lowest priced, and with good reason. The rooms are smaller and outdated: the key was not electronic (a problem if more than one person is staying in the room), the outlets were scarce, and the A/C wasn't working. Even the lobby wasn't very easy to access. Earlier in the trip I stayed at the hotel's Main Tower which was a step up in many ways compared to the North Tower. If you're planning on staying at the Shinagawa Prince, do yourself a favor and pay a little more for a room at one of the other towers (North or Annex).

The Shinagawa Prince hotel is a major convention location. A multitude of restaurants and shopping malls all within walking distance. The rooms are small by US standards but very clean. I found the beds rather hard. This hotel is in a perfect location. It is across the street from the Shinagawa train station. More importantly the staff was very helpful and I experience minimum language difficulties.

I lived at Main Tower high floor room. Though the room rate is more expensive than East Tower, the view of the room is great and I can even see Tokyo Tower! Also, the location of hotel is very conveient, expecially to/from Haneda Airport. (with 30 mins and cost only 400 yen)

close to transportation.

the size of the room to small. no view out of the window even not to see if it's raining. nothing to see on t.v. when you rest , unless you pay.

Love the location - easy to find and get to. Tons of shops around, places to eat -budget to elegant dining. You can get to anywhere from here! We had a twin room - it was smaller than I thought but for the price we paid, I thought it was fantastic!

As my friend told me the hotel was clean and convenient. Most of all it was very convenient to move to other parts of the city using subway. If I am going to Tokyo with limited budget again, the hotel will be my choice.

My husband and I stayed in the main tower and high floor guest rooms. You get to enjoy free high speed Internet (but its cable type, not wifi) if u book high floor rooms. A pity that we brought iPad, hence we did not get to enjoy the free Internet... Very accessible to train station to get to place of interest. Food hunt not a problem too. But, no place of interest near to hotel. Its a highly recommended hotel to stay. :)

Location for the Hotel is fantastic for the trains. Siteseeing wise it is in the middle ground, but this is compensated for ease of using the train system to get around town.

This is a huge hotel with 4 wings. We stayed in the Main Wing on the 30th floor which was a wonderful experience. I was expecting small rooms but the rooms were pretty good, not cramped at all with a state of the art toilet. The staff can speak ok english and are helpful. There are lot of eateries close by and a small supermarket at the entrance of the station. The hotel is right accross the Shinagawa station, a short 15 min train ride from Haneda airport. From Shinagawa one can connect not only to any number of local trains including the Shinkansen (bullet trains) and Narita express to Narita airport. JR pass holders can go around Tokyo on the Yamanote Line to almost anywhere.

Few steps from the station, good location, near to convenience stores and coffee shops

I stayed for 6 nights at the east tower. For a single room, it was a neat and simple. With a comfortable bed and clean bathroom, it was a good place to stay in. The place is about a 10 min walk from the JR station with lots of eateries around.

Staying at the main tower high floor. -Good location to JR(Yamanote line) Shinagawa just across the hotel. This line will take you to all major sightseeing and shopping location. -Near to haneda airport (15mins) which only cost 400yen for the trip. -At the Shinagawa station, if you walk toward the business area, there lot of place to eat and if you feel it expensive, you could buy special offer bento at 7-11 which is beside the hotel or within the Shinagawa train station after 8pm. There also macdonald which open till 2am. -If you take the sunrise tour, there will be pickup in this hotel as well. -The room is nice and cosy. Overall i definitely will stay in this hotel main tower again if i visiting tokyo.

One person room is small but can keep on daily clean. Also neat theJR station, so it is very conveient.

We stayed in the Main Tower for two nights. Very nice hotel and comfortable room. The hotel is attached to a shopping mall that has some non-Japanese restaurants, a nice little break from the local cuisine. Right across the street is the Shinagawa train station where you can catch a local Tokyo train, a train to Narita or Haneda airport, or a bullet train to another region of Japan (we went to Kyoto).

Great hotel right accross the street from Tokyo JR Station. We stayed in Main Tower for 3 nights. Tons of dining options within steps of the hotel. If you choose "green service" and forego the daily linen change, the hotel provides a 500 Y voucher that cna be put toward food or other amenities. "Green service" is available on stays of more than one night. Despite being adjacent to the Station, the sound of rail traffic was not a factor. We were blown away by the quiet elevators serving Main Tower.

I chose the older North Tower because its room rate was a bit cheaper. It turned out to be better than I expected. Compared to the Main Wing, where I had stayed several times before, the North Tower is actually closer to the subway station, closer to the main road, although it does not have a lobby. I met my friends and customers in the lobby of the Main Wing, which is just short distance further inside the courtyard. It's quieter at night, because there are fewer rooms on each floor. I shall take the North Tower the next time I stay at Shinagawa Prince. If there is anything that needs improvement, it was their database. I have stayed at several Prince Hotels in Tokyo and is a member of the chain's frequent traveler program, yet the front desk wanted me to fill in all the information which should be in their record.

Hotel is right across the street from Shinagawa train station. Neatly-designed rooms with free internet access and great Japanese breakfast selection. A great value stay and short distance from downtown.

Very convenient hotel, across the street from the Shinagawa station, staff are very nice

We stayed for almost a week for our vacation in the 30th floor. Fantastic view. Very good location next to railway station with easy access to the sites in Tokyo. Small and clean rooms. Bed mattress was hard but I liked the pillow. Difficult to find the emergency exits. I do not recommend to eat at the hotel because the food was a disappointment.

It wasn't the best hotel I have ever stayed in, but it was clean and functional and did the job. The location is great as it is near a major train station hub.

Shinagawa prince hotel may be an ok hotel, but each tower had a separate front desk, and the north tower smelled smoky, and the room did not have clean look. Room was awfully dusty, my allergy was out of control. It does not look like the picture, dust in the vent, rusty bathroom. Mildew and mold growing by the window.

This hotel is located at extremely close to Shinagawa Station (5mins' walk), very convenient to commute to anywhere from Tokyo with the large subway lines/networks... Hotel room at North Tower small as usual in Tokyo, contemporary design although clean.
