This was the most wonderful time in a long time! The staff at the hotel was so friendly and helpful, they went OUT OF THEIR WAY to accommodate all our needs. The kitchenette though small was very useful, I cooked several times in the room with great results.Our room was kept clean by housekeeping staff, the service was above reproach, the continental breakfast had a variety of items all kid/senior friendly. The location was far enough to have a relaxing environment, but close enough to shop at Port A and sightsee the Aquarium and the USS Lexington.

nice hotel for the price! pool is on the small side but the rooms were clean! breakfast was ok not much but muffins, cereal and coffee, so if your expecting a big breakfast you better go to a restaurant or stay at a holiday inn! staff at office was friendly and it was a quick check inn. there is a mexican restaurant next door so that was convienant.

Bathroom should have been cleaned better. The rest of the room was very clean as far I could see. The grounds and exterior of building need quite a bit of attention. The staff was very friendly and able to answer most questions I had. Would only stay there again if I knew they had worked on updating the condition of the exterior along with better train maid-service.

we had a very strange night, it seemed like this place was haunted . things like the bed being bumped and lights coming on by them selves in the middle of the night.

Only complaint: I could not stay the 2nd night on one of my reservations. I had originally booked 5 total nights. I needed to cancel the final night (1 night) out of 5 and did it by 3 pm. My room had not been cleaned. Should not have been an issue but you couldnt help me. Not good.

This hotel is about 5 miles from downtown.. Its located in more of a commercial area right off I-37.. Its an older hotel and at first glance I was apprehensive and was expecting the worse.. The hotel staff was beyond courteous and the room was totally more than I anticipated. I would recommend this hotel if you're trying to save money and just using it for sleep..

Room was satisfactory air conditioning was not working properly pre set on low and room was not kept as cool as i wouldve prefered

Friendly desk staff (Lupe). Pool ok, jacuzzi/spa did not have heat, but the jets were great. The breakfast was not great, but we got there at 9, so there wasn't much there by then. The price was right, so I can't complain. I'd return.

The only issue we had was the phone number on the Hotel.com web site was wrong. We called information and was given a second wrong number. We had to call Hotel.com to get the correct phone number of the hotel.

Good Value, rooms are clean and thats all what i care about, However the hotel doesn't look nice.

I really like it !! very convinience for us the room was very clean. The bed sheets were very, very clean we really enjoy the stay. We will stay againg on our next little trip for sure !! vey happy

The cable was not good at all. Nice tv, but when you can't watch anything it's not that great. Needs a microwave and a mini fridge, this was the biggest inconvenience because I was told when I booked online it had a kitchenette in it

They moved us to anothet room because "they forgot to do the room service no towels, no toilet paper and the cable wasn't working...very bad service....

This is a recently remodeled older hotel. The rooms are fine, but the limitations of the building - no soundproofing, low water pressure, uneven parking lot & etc. - are still present. The hotel is on the interstate highway in the industrial section of Corpus Christi and ~six miles from the bay front. Many of the guests are working men - guys who earn their living working outside - staying by the week. As stated by others, the breakfast is very sparce. This is an acceptable place to stay for a reasonable price provided one is OK with the location, clientele, building and limited breakfast.

Newly remodeled with all new stuff. Excellent value.

overall the hotel is good.

I LOVED MY STAY HERE! As soon as we walked in our immediate reaction was wow! Even though it is 12miles away from the mall or center of Corpus, we will def stay here when we make another trip to C.C. The people were very friendly, we felt safe, we felt our vehicle was safe in the parking lot (which is a big thing for us). The bed was comfortable! It felt like a mini apartment with a little stove (worked) and little kitchen sink (worked) and also a fridge with a microwave (worked). I recommend this hotel.

Great room for a decent price. Breakfast is a little weak, but still better than some. Good deal for the money though.

For the price I paid I expected worse, the rooms where clean, the beds where comfy. I would go back anytime. Hopefully in June.

It was very close to the beach. Accross highway from oil factory- Parking lot full of pot holes. Very clean. Has two burner stove, but no pots pans, plates or silverware.

I was very impressed with the work done to this property....truly merits the Howard Johnson logo. While some work is still being done, was satisfied with experience.

Had stove and fridge.....worth the price..will be staying there everytime I go to corpus which is at least once a year min!!!!

Breakfast attendant's attitude was less than friendly. Had to be reminded that coffee was needed. One morning the door to the breakfast room was locked at 8 a.m. and she became snarky when informed that our room key wouldn't work. At 6 a.m. on our 2nd day's stay, the smoke alarms activated throughout the hotel...excuse: door slams cause this and nothing can be done to repair it. Hello...dumb excuses should not be passed down to employees from management because then everyone in the staff looks bad...and the hotel's image becomes negative.

Very good value for the money. Like new motel with comfortable rooms. Rooms are quiet and have mini kitchenettes. Breakfast could be better, but still a good value for price. Satellite issues with television. Not a real problem for me though. I will stay here again.

I was most impressed with the staff and the eagerness to be of help. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I would recommend this place to others

While at the Motel we were inconvienced by never being able to use the Handicap parking because people were parked there and not handicapped. We brought this up to the manager and nothing was done about it. So my wife had to walk clear across the parking lot after having her knee replaced and she was in pain all night. Also I had a message on the phone and they couldn't figure out how to retrieve it so they went ahead and deleted it without asking me if I wanted it deleted.

Very friendly staff everything was like New! Definitely will stay again on our next visit

Great place to stay! Their breakfast could be a lot better! Loved the mini kitchen!

En mi estancia se les olvido un día realizar el aseo, no me resolvieron nada solamente me dieron toallas kimpias, mas inembargo el aseo de ese día era pesimo.

Todo bien excepto el servicio de house kiping que un dia no hizo la habitacion y tuvo que ir la Srta. de la recepccion a tender las camas (mal) y a recoger la basura
