Hotel was nice but for the extremely high price of the room, there was no internet in the room-it cost extra!!! Are you kidding me??So I went to the Starbucks across the street for free WiFi. Also, many of the hotel staff speak limited English.

It was ok, clean nice rooms, but the shower was horrible, very high pressure but very little flow so you need a really long time to get wet. I really doubt whether this is a true 4 * hotel because in my eyes, this is a 3 * standard hotel and it really needs some renovation. For the promotional rate, I think I would recommend this place, but I can't understand how it can charge higher than that because I think it doesn't worth more money than that. The only wonderful thing is the location, it's very central and so close to several tube stations. Overall I would recommend this place and would stay there, but only for the promotional rate, I am not willing to pay more.

Heating system was outdated and did not work properly. somewhat expensive fo the quality. Breakfast was way overpriced for what you received and internet additional fee of 20 pounds was excessive and did not work well

For the price, I was expecting it to be nice. And it was. The location was within walking distance of oxford circus, leicester square, and soho as well. The only thing that I would suggest against is the breakfast. For 18 gps i would have expected a lot more choices and and better quality. The best thing was the danishes but hardly worth the cost. Oh and internet by a fee is pretty lame again given the price of this room.

Kingsway Hall Hotel no faults ideal position for the theatres, pubs clubs and fine dining, with plenty of value for money places to eat all the Hotels are quite expensive, no problemo

My wife and I absolutely loved this hotel, it's one of the few we've stayed at that we would return to again and again. Great location, friendly staff and good rooms. Highly recommended.

It was wonderful and really comfortable I wish once again try it

There was 1 shower gel and 1 shampoo which were small and not enough for 2 people BUT I didn't ask for another so can't really complain. Other than this would def, recommend as a great base for bars, restaurants, clubs, theartre etc.. VERY central & good value for London.

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights in February. We had read previous reviews and felt a little apprehensive but we shouldn't have worried. The location is spot on, it takes about 10 mins to walk to Leceister Square. The hotel is clean and well presented with everything you need. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel as it was quite expensive but found a really good cafe in Leciester Square instead that did full english for £7.50 ! If you have a room looking out on the front of the hotel, there is a little noise from the traffic hooting in the early hours but it didn't go on for long. We had a lovely stay and will definitely return.

This hotel is in a great central location, within walking distance or no more than a few tube stops of everywhere you would want to go. Reception staff & concierge team were very friendly & helpful. Public areas of the hotel are very nice. The rooms themselves are a bit tired & could do with a bit of a refurb, however nice and clean and has everything you need.

Once again, a faultless stay. Quiet, attentive, chasing taxis in the rain... All good.

Hotel is clean and nice....great central location to everything in London. My only issue was that this hotel nickels and dimes you for everything.....internet, local phone calls, etc. These prices can really add up so keep close track of this when staying at this hotel. Other than that the hotel was a great place to stay.

I took my wife for a birthday weekend in December and couldn't have chosen a better hotel. Easy tube connections to the whole of London and nice walks to West end and all the shops in Oxford St and restaurants surrounding Covent garden. Perfect weekend, highly recommended hotel.

A very nice, clean and convenient hotel. Well appointed rooms but they're too warm. The only way to cool down is to open the window, which means putting up with the constant drone of the air condition units. The rooms have secure heavy doors but that becomes a nuisance when inconsiderate guests let them bang shut behind them.

A delightful short stay. Clean, smart, professional. This is how a hotel should be run.

Very clean! But 24 pounds for internet access!!! Today free WiFi is to be expected.. Almost every low budget hotel offers free WiFi...

Although the location is fantastic, the lack of wireless internet throughout the hotel (you can get wireless in the bar and reception but you have to pay GBP 5 for 1 hr) is a big problem for business travelers. I won't be staying here when traveling for work as long as the hotel doesn't have WiFi throughout the building.

service was very good, staff very helpful. food was good quality but expensive. breakfast was £15 per person and was well cooked but limited. seemed too pricey

The location of Kingsway Hall Hotel is really great. The rooms are not that big, but they are very nice, cozy and clean. The bathroom is clean and the size is okay. They have great cleaning and the atmosphere is really nice. But they really need wifi and preferably free wifi. Also upon check in they charge you 100 £ to cover any services you use (and are not included). They refund the money 2 - 3 days after check out. I find this a bit strange. Normally you pay for any extra stuff, like the minibar when you check out.

Great location, Covent Garden is a great place for wandering, and there are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. Also, very close to 2-3 underground stops, very convenient. I was very disappointed the bed was SO uncomfortable, very stiff, felt like I was sleeping on the floor. Also, the staff was very pleasant, but not very knowledgeable regarding the surrounding area. It would have been nice if they could have made some suggestions.

This hotel was perfect for what my friend and I were looking for! It's conveniently located next to two underground stations, many pubs, and everything in Covent Gardens!! The service was fantastic! The concierge desk (specifically, Abraham) was amazing!! We had tea in the restaurant, which was so pleasant. I would suggest breakfast outside the hotel (there are many places very nearby), as the restaurant charge for breakfast is a bit excessive. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely return!

Nice hotel near Long Acre st. and the Holborn area. Nicely surrounded by god restaurants, bars and very near a tube station. Room furniture is a bit old but hotel offers good value - would be great if it had free wifi (not the case).

The Kingsway Hall Hotel is conveniently located 1/2 block away from Kingsway, a couple of blocks away from the Holborn tube station (with direct service to Heathrow Airport via the Piccadilly Line), and a short walk from Covent Garden, the British Museum, Aldwych and Bloomsbury.The rooms are generously sized, clean and well furnished with modern fixtures, and quite reasonably priced for central London. The area is quite safe, the street is quiet, and there are numerous cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores, including a Sainsbury's supermarket and a Boots pharmacy, within walking distance. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the meals I ordered for room service were very good. My only criticism of the hotel, and the only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 star rating, was the noisiness of the entry doors to each room. On several occasions I was awakened well before I wanted to, due to a nearby guest leaving at an early hour. Normal or heavy sleepers will likely not be troubled by this, but light sleepers like myself may have problems. Other than this, I was completely satisfied with the Kingsway Hall Hotel, and would highly recommend it to all.

Great location, walking distance to Covent Garden and many of Londons treasures. Professional, helpful, friendly staff. Well appointed comfortable room. A pleasurable experience I would recommend.

Second time I've stayed here and had a great experience both times. Staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel is within walking distance of many major attractions and theatre. Staff gave great directions and had good information. Room was a little pricey but, everything in London is pricey.

Great location good service full marks

Between you and me, I wasn't expecting much. But this is a lovely hotel. Fantastic location, a very short walk to Covent Garden, Leicester Square. Very comfy beds, tea and coffee making facilities, which is great. We had breakfast out as it's usually too expensive. Patisserie Valerie is very close by. The desk clerks were also lovely, took our bags to storage as we got there before our room as ready. Only gripe is that the wifi was too expensive.

we stayed 2 nights and we arrived 4 hours early but the hotel had a room ready which was really convenient. Fantastic location,could not be better if you want to explore central london.Nice room if a bit small. We booked a twin room and got 2 single beds pushed up against each other.Very clean. A couple of small complaints,breakfast is a stupid price esp as there are a number of good restaurants nearby (Cafe Rouge 5 quid inc tea or coffee) . Very mean with the toiletries ,1 tiny bottle of shampoo and 1 bar of soap,miserable amount of tea,coffee and sugar and dont even look at the mini bar as we were charged £3 for a bar which we just moved,however it was taken off straight away once informed. Overall, despite the minor inconveniences we would stay again ,great location,pleasant helpful staff and decent clean room.

Very good value. Lovely clean room and bathroom facilities. Very quiet at night. Excellent position for Covent Garden and Theatreland. Close to Holborn Tube station and bus stops. Will definately stay there again.
