This is an older hotel but it's clean, there is great service, great neighborhood, and central location.

This is an older hotel with a central location and easy access to airport, Washington University, restaurants, shopping, etc. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I would give it a 3.5-4.0 because it is older, spread out, lacks some amenities, needs some minor maintence and upgrades but is a good safe place to stay.

Beautiful hotel, next to the upscale Frontenac Mall. Easy access to restaurants within walking distance.

Very nice hotel; good location; friendly staff; good food in the restaurant; everything worked; room was comfortable. No complaints at all. Very good value. Highly recommend the hotel. Have stayed there several times before and will stay there again.

The room I had was a King Mini Suite which was like a Embassy Suites room. Nice and very comfortable. The food was truly fabulous and was so good I ate there the entire 2 day stay. Everyone was polite and helpful when needed. I would recommend this for business or liesure.

Decent hotel. No complaints. No problems. Which is good when on a business trip. Average place, charges slightly above average prices.

Very clean and spacious. Hotel staff was very friendly and gave prompt service. Location was fabulous for our family weekend getaway!

The hotel room was neat and clean and met the expectations to some extent. One thing that bothered me was the room did not feel very brightly lit, but that was not a big concern,

It was a pleasant stay

It was a very nice to place to spend our honeymoon. The staff was very helpful with our late arrival. the only problem, one day housekeeping left dirty towels, but over-all it was very nice.

Poor front desk service

Our family of 4 stayed in a Junior Suite at the Frontenac Hilton, and had a very comfortable 5 day stay! Our room was large, with a mini fridge & bar sink, and an atrium outside of our room for gathering with other family members.

Room not suitable for 3 Adults and a 13 year old. Pull out couch option not comfortable. Had to call for linen twice. Front desk not accomadating. Restaurant food mediocre at best. Not handicap friendly at all in Clayton Buliding.

quality of service wa excellent. Complimentary shuttle to anywhere within 8 miles and airport transfer is superb and efficient.

Free shuttle service with 8miles provides excellent service and saves guests a lot of money. This was an added bonus.

My newly married bride and I stayed here for our first night as a happily married couple. The hotel room was great! Extremely roomy and comfortable. Only thing I did not rate a 5 was the surrounding area because we did not go anywhere. I would definitely stay there again!

Louis XIV is out of style most places, but if you like the Chateau thing this will be great. Architecturally, this hotel is done up nicely in antique French frou-frou. Perfect place for a wedding, with all that faux elegance rigamarole. Room was NY size and bath window looked directly at a brick wall - be sure to ask about where the mother-in-law is going. King bed had HUGE pillows on it...and they couldn't get us useable ones the night of arrival but did the next day. Bench over sink top was too small for all our toiletries. Toilet was jammed right next to tub, so it's down the hall and out under the bushes when the wife is taking her toilette. Bed was comfortable, AC quiet, room was clean, and no noise from other guests but hotel was lightly attended when we were there.

I liked being centrally located. Resturaunts at Frontenec Plaza were very good. Staff was courteous and helpful. The villa size room was nice with comforable chairs for sitting.

I have been a member of Hilton Honors and have traveled all over our conuntry and I must say this hotel ranks up there with one of the best Hilton's we have stayed in. The hotel was perfect and our room was great. Thank You for a wonderful stay.

Easy to find; price was good for the plushness of the hotel.

It started with a trek through musty labyrinth-like hallways to find our room. There we found a piece of used dental floss on the floor near the bed, not even in the bathroom area. Despite that, the rest of the room was clean and what one would expect from a hotel. When night fell the combination of paper thin walls and guest rooms right across the hall from banquet rooms proved to be a bad combination for guests who wanted to sleep. Which wouldn't have been as much of a problem if we would have been able to turn on the t.v. to provide a little white noise, but alas, the television didn't work. Most frustrating was when these difficulties were calmly stated upon check-out, the front desk clerk was argumentative and unapologetic. A meagre offer of a breakfast coupon was all that was made after I already stated that I was running late for my scheduled morning activities. After it was restated that I was running late, she said that I could get a free breakfast if I ever stayed there again...um, no thank you.

The value was well worth the money.

Wife and i stayed for two nites. Great location near shopping and attractions. Nice riom and quality amenities. The pool was nice and the building in great condition. Will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay and plan to stay again when we're in the St. Louis area.

I recently stayed for a business trip which included a conference at Washington University. This hotel was incredibly clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was nice and quiet. I had a long couple of days, so the quiet was welcomed at the end of the day! My only complaint is with the food and drink available at the hotel. While there is nothing you cannot get, it is VERY expensive. There are also a limited number of restaurants in the immediate area and they are nicer establishments. For me, I didn't want to go to a nice place and sit alone, so I ate at the hotel. I would not make this mistake again as I could have driven somewhere about 10 miles away and gotten a better selection for less money. Great hotel though!

Hilton St Louis Frontenac is in a wonderful location, just across the street from an excellent selection of dining and a small upscale mall. The hotel itself is well kept and the rooms are very clean. However, the bathroom is on the small side and don't count on reliable room service. Otherwise, it's as advertised and I would stay at this location again!

Why do hotels like this charge $10 a day for the internet, when they are obviously a business hotel, yet Hampton Inns, which have equally nice rooms charge nothing? Also, There seems to be a habit in most hotels, that when you stay over one night, the housekeeping in the room deteriorates as the days go by.

This is a beautiful hotel. It is absolutely the place to stay in St. Louis.

Very nice hotel in a VERY nice area. It is about 8-10 miles "outside" of town but the hotel is right by the interstate and it takes no time to get into St. Louis. The area around the hotel is very nice but only a few restaurants and all of them seem expensive. Some of the neighborhoods around are very upper class. About a 5 min drive to get to fast food from the hotel. There was a note in the room saying they are working on the cable TV and the front desk said the ice machine on my hall was broken but I found no problems with either. The room was a little small but I was alone so it was perfect for me. I gave a 4 star on hotel location due to being a little outside of St. Louis and not very accessible to a quick meal. No real compaints though. Overall it was a great room at a great price. I will consider this hotel again if ever in the area.

Grand old hotel in an upscale neighborhood. Very comfortable. Wished I could have found a guide showing the availableTV channels.
