3rd time I have stayed there - management always very nice

Very friendly staff. Room was clean and updated. Easy access to I-35 and UT campus. This is my 3rd trip to Austin in the past 12 months. I stayed at other hotels on my previous trips to Austin and was not satisfied. I found my Austin hotel now and plan to come back to this Hampton 2 or 3 times over the next 12 months. Right next to Academy store on I-35 so easy to find using that landmark.

This place is easy to get to at the 183 and I35 intersection. Friendly staff and the R&R shuttle drops off and picks up from the hotel. Very nice experience.

I enjoyed the stay. There were some rowdy kids in the hall, but when I called the front desk it was taken care of immediately. Very nice and the bed was so comfortable!

I was pretty disappointed with this stay to be honest. I usually have an awesome time in Hampton Inn. The room I was given smelled like a smoker's lounge. They sent a guy up with a humidifier to clear it out but did absolutely nothing. He had it on for an hour and no results. Then he had to take it for another room, so apparently it is a common problem in that hotel. Luckily I wasn't staying there longer than one night, otherwise all my clothes in my suitcase probably would have ended up smelling like smoke. We asked for another room but they were booked up, if they would have given us one, I'm not sure. Aside from the smokey room, the staff was friendly and the room itself was reallly nice. So maybe it is worth the risk of getting a smokey room. It's not a far cab ride ($20) from downtown Austin but I would prefer something closer. The surrounding neighborhood isn't that great but I didn't really feel unsafe or anything like that.

The hotel room itself was very clean. The only disappointment was there wasn't a mini fridge, not that it had said there was one, but it would have made the room excellent if it had one. We has one small issue checking in because the front desk didn't have our reservation listed because it was booked through hotels.com and they for some reason booked it under my maiden name. Otherwise it was a great hotel and I would definitely stay again.

The room was a comfortable and very clean. The location is on an access road at the interchange of two interstates, and the hotel signage is difficult to spot while driving.

We always have a great stay at the Hampton. Everyone is so friendly.

very nice, everything in tip top shape

Great breakfast included. Waffles, scrambled eggs, sliced sausage links, cereals, fruit, pastries, bagels, juices, milk, coffee.

OVERALL IT WAS VERY GOOD.

Very nice, very clean.

Room was clean. Nice breakfast. Great location right on i35. Seemed to be stuffy in the halls, but rooms were comfortable

Room was nice and clean, bed comfortable. Breakfast was better than I expected with warm and cold items. Would have liked safe in the room. My husband enjoyed the excercise room. I will stay there again if I decide to go back to see my granddaughter in a few months.

Was very short stay but have no complaints. Will stay again if we are here again.

Stayed two nights and 3 days and our room was not ever cleaned. I called the front desk after returning from a very late lunch about 2 pm on the second day reminding them that the room had not been cleaned and i was reassured it would be cleaned later in the day. We left the room at 4 pm to the game and informed housekeeping that we had left the room and they were free to clean. When we returned from the football game at 11 pm we found the room had not been cleaned.

The Pros: The Hotel service was exceptional and the staff was friendly. I called down and asked for more towels and the manager on duty had them up to me in a matter of minutes. I had a King on the third floor - the beds are really comfortable. The AC in the room worked well and the room was temp comfy. The decour and feel of the rrom was nice as well, seems they have had some really nice upgrades. there was not a lot of noise from other guests, so I was able to relax. The Cons: I didnt' like that the rooms were not equipped with fridges. I stayed three nights, and it would have been nice to store food and have open drinks kept cool, instead of running down to the ice machine. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, and would recommend this hotel to others who want a good night sleep in a reasonably priced hotel.

The hotel is very nice for the price. The King room we had was very clean and the bed was awesome. The breakfast was adequate and plentiful. The location of the hotel was convienent to the UT stadium. The bathroom was small but very clean with good water pressure. We will definately stay there again.

Although it's rated 2 and 1/2 stars, the hotel and its service are really good. I didn't give it all 5 stars because our room felt a little too "humid".

Sheet was not changed and air conditioner to loud. No weekend maintenance in common areas.

Had a very enjoyable stay. Wish the TV had more movie channel options.The room was well maintained and service was very responsive. Breakfast was good and well presented.

Freindly, courteous, and helpful staff

We had a nice clean room. It was quiet. The staff was professional and courteous. It was a little bit tricky to actually find it, but once we figured it out, we got around just fine.

This was the third time I have stayed here during the ROT Rally. Very comfortable and plenty of parking if you have some sort of cargo trailer. This is where I will stay next time.

We originally chose the hotel due to it's close proximity to UT. While it was a little bit hard to find, it was nestled in a little cove of trees that made it seem secluded, private, quiet, and safe. We were greeted by the hotel staff and made to feel comfortable right away. Our room was nicely appointed with lovely wood furnishings and cool lighting. It was clean and comfortable! The window shade blocked out the light, which is always important to me. The room had everything that we needed, and the morning breakfast was good. We will definitely stay there again!

The room was awesome!! Everyone was very nice & helpful. Well done!

Easy access to I-35. Great distance from 6th street, Highland Mall, would def stay here again!!

We stayed for 2 nights for a wedding in austin, the room was comfortable and clean and we had no problems, but we are low maintenance guests lol

Hotel was a little hidden but the service at the desk when I arrived was fantastic. I called for directions and Eddie answered the phone. He was very helpful and was unbelievably service oriented. I arrived late, but Eddie made it easy. Good job Eddie

PROS: Fast check in, clean room, clean bathroom, nice size tv, AC worked great, curtains kept most of the light out, comfortable bed, excellent free breakfast, homemade waffles, easy check out. CONS: Would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room for leftovers and drinks to keep cool Overall a great hotel and a very good value, will be staying there if I ever need a place to stay in Austin

The Hampton Inn Austin North is very convenient to downtown and UT. We stay here several times a year. The hotel is very quiet and our rooms have always been very clean. The breakfast buffet is always good.

We stayed here because it was near to our son's home, but also found it convenient to 3 freeways, many resturants and a mall and easy access to the airport, w/o going by downtown. It was quiet, and the pool had some shade in the afternoon from the hot Texas sun. Staff was attentive, frinedly and accomadating. Breakfast was very substantial and fresh fruit was available all day. We will stay there again!

Hotel was nicely clean, staff was attentive and good breakfast selection

Very satisfied but I would have given an overall 5 if the room had a refrigerator and microwave. Most other hotels have these.

Had to sleep 3 adults in one king bed. When asked to switch to double queen size or to have an extra bed, the man at the front desk did not try to help us. When we got another bed the day after, they charged us 30$ per room without telling us. Staff is not friendly and they did not try to help us.

This was our first stay at this hotel. We had stayed in North Austin at The Crown Plaza, and Holiday Inn Express. The bed at The Hampton Inn was more comfortable than the others. The breakfast food was fresh and replenished often. The location was also quiet and restful. The room was well appointed and the linens were clean and fresh. The room temperature was pleasant and easy to maintain, considering it was 106F the day we visited, this was important. I would stay at this Hampton Inn again.
