I stay in a LOT of hotels. These guys were both professional and very accommodating. I've never seen such an incredible staff from the housekeepers to the porters to the management. Absolutely 1st rate! Starbucks lattes without leaving the hotel, perfect snacks and a friendly business center. Thank you!!!!

It was fine.

We've stayed in many hotels in DC over the past 6 years and this one ranked as one of the best. The staff was friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was perfect. My only complaint is that we were awakened on Monday morning with the loud hammering of men working right outside our window. It seems that they are repairing the roof of the garage. the noise was awful and the view was less than scenic. Rooms facing away from this side of the hotel must surely be quieter.

Great location with easy access to all that Dupont Circle has to offer. Easy walking distance to Metro and thus access to National Airport, the museums, etc. Why pay the high price of some of the other hotels in the vicinity when this is a perfect fit. VERY comfortable beds!!! Didn't try to food service, as it seemed very pricey, but the area is chuck full of other venues from which to choose/

Rooms are small and the price is not low. But the service and cleanliness are good. Has free internet and breakfast.

I was taking a family member to the airport early on a Friday and decided to spend the weekend in D.C. I called the hotel in advance to see if I could check in early and they said, "yes". The people who work at this hotel are extremely friendly and helpful!!!! Even though the lobby was under renovation, it did not stop the staff from performing their jobs well. There are so many wonderful restaurants just blocks from this hotel too. It was a great weekend!!!!!!

Comfortable enough. The downstairs staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great morning coffee. The lobby was under repair so I imagine it will be much improved. Parking quite expensive, but that's Washington, D.C. Not a bad walk to the Metro--if you are fit.

The lobby was under construction, so I could not really judge it. The room was spotless, the AC worked well and was controllable and the windows kept the street noise out very well. The bed was comfortable, the shower really powerful and the bathroom quite nice and mod. If I had any complaints, the room was a bit small and there was no fridge.

This hotel was very clean and the hotel staff was very accomodating. My only complaint was that getting into the hotel entrance was a little tricky. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again in the future!!!

Everything was very comfortable and convenient but best was when I left some articles behind and Phyllis Briggs went and found them and then fed-exed them to me immediately. Very responsive and generous.

Excellent Property. I stay here every time I go to DC to meet with clients, from the front desk personnel to the houskeeping, the room is perfect.

Comfortable bed, free internet was a plus. Good 15 min walk to nearest Metro and no good restaurants close by. Noisy airconditioner right next to bed. Front desk staff obliging but surly.

Convenient Dupont Circle Location. Too pricey. Awful workout room, lame pool and small rooms. Business center needs work too.

Top marks for continuity.Exactly the same as the Marriott in Boston.Know exactly what to expect when booking right down to the coffee machine in the bedroom!Great staff with a touch of Irish thrown in.

I was very pleased with the valet service. Our car was ready and waiting within minutes of calling for it. All of the staff were courteous and eager to help. The room was very clean and the bathroom was spotless! The only slight downside was that the internet service was not working in our room. But the technician came and fixed it when we called for help.

Outdated by many years, clean, friendly staff, reasonable rates.

It is only a few blocks to the Red Line Metro Station at Dupont Circle and there are lots of places to go to eat and shop. The park is a great way to spend a sunny morning reading.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in mid-November. The staff was efficient and helpful and the room and amenities lived up to expectations. It sits at the top of a sprightly uphill on Connecticut Avenue, across the street from the Washington Hilton, so the walk TO DuPont Circle Metro is much easier (especially with a suitcase) than the walk FROM DuPont Circle to the hotel. The are a number of interesting restaurants right on Connecticut within a couple of blocks of the facility. It is only a fifteen minute cab ride (outside of rush hour) from DCA, and early on a Saturday morning, before the Metro began running, that was the only real option.

From check-in to check-out everyone in the hotel- not just the concierge was extremely helpful and friendly. I had a small problem with my key at one point, and the gentleman delivering room service next door stopped what he was doing to help. The room itself was great too. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in and the internet was easy to set up on my laptop and quite fast as well. Probably the only slight drawback was that my room was on the 2nd floor and it was a bit noisy in the hallway, I think because the pool is also located on that floor. Also, no need to worry about the location. I used to live in DC which is why I picked this place. It's just a few blocks from the Dupont metro station and all the restaurants and shopping that Dupont has to offer are right there.

This hotel was not fancy but very clean and staff was super nice. Do be prepared to pay for parking. Bathroom quarters were very small, but in good condition. Beds were comfortable. Nice neighborhood location. About 8-10 min walk to Metro stop. TV was pretty lame-although that's not really a priority. Overall, decent place to stay for a few days.

They lost a package that was sent for my work. Found after three days of looking. I took laundry down the day before it was due, they forgot to send it out and I had to wait an extra day. This wouldn't have been a problem except I was held over for an extra week and needed the clothing. Food is mediocre at best. The fitness center has only 2 treadmills and 2 bikes - never accessible. I would not stay here again.

The Hotel was child friendly but the only t.v station for kids didn't work.

We were very disappointed with this room. It was like living in a shoe box for the 11/2 days we were there. The room's air conditioner was very inadequate. The room wasn't evere cool, it did cool down a little after the sun went down but oh my during the day the room was blazing HOT. Would not reccomend this hotel to anybody. To top it off this was my Birthday Weekend.

I highly recommend this hotel. It is clean, conveniently located, and has a very accommodating staff. My room, while not huge, was obtained at a bargain price through a hotel promotion, and was certainly not the broom-closet I deserved given the very low price I paid. To the contrary, the room had all needed conveniences, plenty of well-placed wall outlets, and loads of storage space.
