Was great for us getting to and from universal. Very clean room, nice staff, very accomodating.

Hotel staff and housekeeping were excellent. Room were clean but worn. Pool and definite bonus! I would recommend this hotel.

It was a very nice stay. The vaitor at the bar in the lobby was a very nice guy.

Terrible night sleep- ac unit extremely loud.

Perfect for on and off the highway! Hotel staff was incredible! Very clean and comfortable, although rugs were a little stained. Mini-fridge in the room was great and the ac worked well. Laundry and gym onsite. Parking fee was well worth it. Walking distance to City Walk, Universal and many restaurants. Will definitley stay here again.

I was disappointed in the Doubletree way of charging for everything. It was bad enough that they charged for breakfast, then limited what the in lobby starbucks could sell but they had to charge me $12 dollars everyday for parking i mean really! The parking lot right in front of the Hotel, not even a garage or an inner city difficult parking scenerio but a lot directly in front! $12...really! Then i paid a premium for a room that views Universal so they put me on the 5th floor where i could make out the roller coasters...i guess that is a room with a view!

Nice place, great location and amenities. Only issue was the room smelled heavily like lysol. All in all I would stay there again.

Great hotel at a great price. They gave my girlfriend and I a room way up on the 18th floor that had fabulous views of Orlando. We could see Disney, Universal, and everything in between.

Great hotel we will be coming back!

This hotel was really nice. The only extra fee was for parking $12 per day which is much cheaper than parking at the park. It was a long walk but, worth saving the $. The room was the cleanest we have ever had for the low price. We were super happy and would love to stay here again.

A lot of unexpected charges. Hotel parking, room deposit/insurance.

Hotel was very clean and has a great pool but the bed sagged terrible in the middle. When we spoke to the front desk they acted as if they couldn't be bothered.

staff,location,room cleanliness all good. Bed was not comfortable. Big plus on the Starbucks in the lobby area. Valet parking was nice and but didn't like paying for self parking. Internet charge also. Made me feel like they nickel and dime you to death. Wanted to stay another night but they jacked their rates up. Was not worth the extra cash.

The room request was for non-smoking. Had to take a smoking. Carpets were very dirty and had spots of spills on them. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner also. The smell of smoke was awful. We found a "Dooby" under the telephone which indicates the cleaning staff isn't moving objects to clean. Won't stay there again. Thanks for the asking.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, and very convenient to Univeral Studios. But please get some new sheets or use less starch. I could not rest well here because the sheets were very scratchy and really irritated my skin.

Very satisfied with our stay. Hotel employees were very nice to deal with. Requested extra linens from our room and they arrived as fast as Jimmy Johns! And the warm cookies are always a nice treat. All areas were up to date and clean - the only thing I wish was that they would have told us about the laundry and game rooms knowing we were traveling with kids. - but it was of course listed in our book in our room. If there was any draw back it was having to pay to park our can and the free wifi was on the main floor only.

Overall very nice and well located at a good rate. Only had a couple room maintance issues that sullied the experience.

The location of this hotel was great for us because we were going to universal, but it did not make up for the hotel stay. The Hotel as a whole definitely is in need of an update...Its one saving grace- it has a Starbucks! ...if you're a coffee person....and you will need coffee after sleeping on the Extremely hard and uncomfortable beds they have in the guest rooms!! Not to mention the roaring air conditioner in the room that constantly wakes you up every time it comes on and sounds like a bomb getting ready to blow....The Guest rooms were also very small and terrible! Horrible decor, pillows that totally collapse beneath your head, no ceiling lighting... all floor or table lamps that have to manually turned on. Tiny cramped, need to be remodeled bathrooms( no vent or fan) with very limited towels, washcloths, soaps, and other necessities. Really dinky one/two cup coffee maker in the rooms that partially works and makes terrible coffee. No free Wi-Fi even though you are paying a higher price per night, and to top it all off you have to pay quite a bit a day to park. Won't do this one again...I'll drive a little further.

I really enjoyed the trip and the hotel was very nice. The only problem I had was the carpet had a couple of dirty spots and the grout in the tile around the tub spigot was dingy and ugly, but it was clean. I have already recommended it to others and would definitely stay there again. The pool area and courtyard were beautiful. Pleased with my stay!

This hotel has MAJOR ISSUES with Security...beware! I travel alot and this hotel is really not the Doubletree brand you may be use to... first, upon entry I was warned that if anyone contacted me and said they were from the front desk DO NOT believe them it is a scam and the hotel has had issues with guests credit cards being compromised and if you get a solicitation under your door for Pizza don't order cause this is a scam (we got a solicitation BOTH nights we were there...where was Security?)...second, at one time this was probably a nice hotel but that day has passed. The entire hotel needs updating. **NO ROOM SERVICE** before noon. The property is aged and needs updating. It just needs one good makeover. The floors are unpolished, the windows are dirty, the throw pillows in our room were filthy and the carpeting is stained. From the twelve dollar a day parking fee to the three dollar Cokes in the vending machine this hotel is all about the money. The staff was pleasant enough and it is only a fifteen minute walk to Universal but you can do better both property and price wise down the street.

I've stayed at Double Trees before and am always satisfied with the room, staff, and amenities. (Nice to have a good cookie waiting for you) The hotel is committed to "green" concepts, which impresses me, being an Instructor in "sustainability" and building design. (The cookie package is even compostable) The location is directly across from the Universal studios City Walk where I intended to have dinner, but as soon as I was ready to walk there the rain started so I had dinner and drinks at the hotal lounge. When there was a delay in serving my food the bartender was very apologetic and gave me a drink at no charge. Unexpectedly great service!

The room was clean but the hallways were very dirty. We had pizza menus push under the door all night. Security did a poor job keeping the pizza menu people out of the hotel. The door latch was broken. The nice thing is the front desk man gave my wife, daughter and me cookies. And a smile.

Very nice,check in was quick. It was the holidays and the chocolate chip cookies was a nice welcome.

The house was infested with cockroaches. Small and large roaches was getting around room !! in night time I wiped out the roaches. terrible !!

The shower didn't work properly, I found someone else's luggage keys on the floor leaving me to wonder when the last time vacuuming was done and there was a persistent buzzing noise in the room as though a fly or something was in there (I think it was the tv...but not sure). On the plus side, it's near Universal Studios, there are restaurants in the area and it's easy to get to from I-4. Parking costs are too high and there's no breakfast. A very so/so experience.

not crazy about having to pay for parking, and for your guest also.

This hotel have an excellent location and it is very comfortable with an amazing price.
