Great Hotel and ideal location for visit to Bruges

We love this hotel. It is located on a quiet street tho a short walk to the underground. We stayed in a "comfy" room which is the lowest rate. It was rather small but clean. Small does not bother us as other amenities mean more. Breakfast which we had included was very complete from delicious rolls, croissants, eggs, ham, fruit,coffee (even cappuccino if desired). The staff was very sweet and accommodating even running to the corner to obtain a cab for us more than once! All in all a gem especially if one likes a small personal hotel.

Welcome was warm and the staff were very helpful . The room was comfortable and the decoration pleasent. The service in the guest bar was slow and the drink selection was very limited for a luxury hotel. Location was fab, near all the tourist sites . We will be staying here again.

This hotel was the best hotel we have stayed in on our 3 month holliday around Europe. The room facing the canal was beautiful, Just walk out the front door and you are in the middle of everything, 2 minute walk to the main town square, The staff and the breakfast were excellent ,nothing was too much trouble. If anyone ever complained about this hotel dont take any notice of them.

We were extremely pleased with our 3 night stay in Hotel de Tuilerieen is located on a canal in the heart of old Bruges city. Early internet booking (9 months ahead) meant that we had real luxury accommodation at a budget price. The friendly staff were very helpful in recommending places to go and advising how to avoid high-cost low-value tourist trap eateries and activities. Staff were also happy to recommend a range of teahouses and little restaurants as alternatives to the hotel breakfast, which is quite expensive. The bar is cosy with a great atmosphere to enjoy a drink, including tea or coffee, at any time of day. Service and facilities are demonstratively four star and we would not hesitate to recommend this little gem as a haven on your European trip.

We had 2 nights in this hotel. The staff are friendly and very helpful, the Hotel is very convient to all the sights and within walking distence to very thing in the city. the room are very comfortable, clean and beautiful. We had a modern room with was beautifully done with a waterfall shower, massive bed with very comfortable mattress. Our friends had a canal view room with was done in the older style in keeping with the hotel. all in all it was lovely and would recommend to anyone going to Brugge.

Located by the canal and close - but not too close - to the market square, it was perfectly situated. The roooms were well appointed with a comfortable bed. The hotel has a nice lounge and bright terrace, and overall we had a lovely stay.

I loved this hotel. is located in the city center and in front of the canal. Lovely furniture and decorations. Very romantic.

My husband and another couple stayed here this April and I can tell you this is the most wonderful small hotel. The staff is great . Location great right in the middle of it all. Pretty and charming. Clean and friendly. We drove from Paris to come to Bruge and we were delighted it had parking. A nice bar and restaurant and a back court yard to sit in and drink. Also an indoor pool. Great service and we had a wonderful time. Book it and you will be 100% satisfied.

Some things about this hotel are excellent. The location is perfect, the staff were very welcoming and helpful and the ambience was very pleasant. We arrived around 9:30 and were disappoiunted that the restaurant was closing - but the conjcierge found us a great one nearby. Our room was in the converted cowshed - very stylish but watch the steep steps in the room particularly in the dark. The capacious bathroom had no shower - only a hand held variety over the bath, in which the paint was peeling. And noise was easily transmitted through the ceiling from the room above and as people tramped down the stairs. But maybe we just had the last room on a busy night. Lounge pleasant but very small. Pool also tiny. So we had a good time but we would look for room with a shower next time.

A fine small hotel in a great locationi on a canal and close to center of old city - many cafes, shops, and nice walks. When we complained about treatment at check-in, Assistant Manager Tim was excellent in correcting problem and changing our room.

Our hotel was central to everything, especially the main square, canal trips, bicycle rentals and restaurants. Not only was the room huge and wonderful but a gentleman at the reception desk was always most helpful. Our main recommendation for American travelers is to have a credit card with a chip and we did not!

This hotel deserves the top ratings that it has had for years. The room itself, the staff, housekeeping and location are outstanding. We couldn't have asked for a better experience (except for the duvets that hotels keep insisting we need year round and a 30 euro breakfast for a couple that usually can only tolerate a cup of coffe and toast for breakfast). You will not be disappointed with this hotel selection.

We were very pleased with this hotel - the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. The location was convenient to everything, the room was beautiful, roomy and exceeded expectation. Traveling with 2 children and this hotel addressed all our needs. We would definitely stay there again.

There was nothing wrong with this hotel! Everything thing from check-in to check-out was great. They let us leave our bags while we waited for our room to be ready, when we got back the bags had been placed in our room for us! The room was wonderful with beautiful views, plush bedding and linens, elegant decorations, huge room overall and huge bathroom--the robes and slippers were a nice touch. The air conditioner worked great. Room service was actually not that pricey, and the beer selection was pretty good. We didn't try their breakfast due to cost and there were plenty of good options close by for half the price. Overall wonderful place to stay!

I was allocated an up-graded room. A supremely convenient Hotel with exceptional staff and elegant surroundings.

Small, charming hotel is perfectly suited to the small, charming city of Bruges. Service was excellent .My only complaint is the breakfast - a small European hotel should not charge 30 Euros (plus 4.2 service) per person.

Lovely, romantic hotel, but there are better options in Brugge for less. Bfast was 30 euros/person, internet charge was high, as well as a charge for a converter. Room we were in, the sofa had a hole in the arm. Our friends stayed at the Hotel Navarro, and it was modern and clean, bfast was included, free internet, and a book of local discount coupons.

Beautiful and well maintained. The few little problems were addressed immediately. Breakfast was too expensive (30 Euro, over $40 per person), and Internet/WiFi was over 10 euro.

Having read various reviews on TripAdvisor and other sites I booked the hotel for a romantic weekend break to celebrate our anniversary and was not disappointed, The hotel is a short walk from the Markt on a fairly quite road, overlooking one of the many canals. We were on the top floor so had lovely views out over the roof tops of Bruges. One slight criticism is that of our bathroom. It was built into the corner eave, so the bath/shower was very cramped, and a few of the tiles were cracked.

The rooms are magnificent. The staff service was wonderful. We enjoyed room service every night (we have two infants). Nice pool and sauna/turkish bath. If you are driving, pay the 25 euros a night to stay in their parking lot (gated); it is an unbelievable convenience.

We were upgraded to a suite so that we could be with another couple who we were traveling with. The hotel is right in the center of town and is in the perfect location for getting photos of Brugge at night.

We stayed at the Hotel De Tuilerieen for a long weekend and were amazed at the level of service, the quality and professionalism of the staff and the sheer luxury of the rooms. The staff could not have done more to help, from giving us maps and locations of places of interest, to booking us into a local restaurant (the De Koetse), to directing us to the Station car park - see below - they were only too happy to help and spoke excellent english. The room was fabulous, the furnishings are very good quality and the room was clean, tidy and very well maintained. They do a "turn down service" which involves one of the chambermaids coming to your room at around 7pm and placing Belgian chocolates on your pillows, half opening the bed sheets to make it easier to get into bed(!) and closing your windows and blinds and switching on your lamps!! The nicest touch was that they also deliver a small card with the following day's weather forecast marked out! The breakfast in the hotel is very expensive if not included in your rate but the restaurant looked very nice. The hotel is centrally located, 2 minutes walk from the two main squares in town, but is also incredibly quiet and has its own secure parking (available for 25 euro a night - see tip below). Overall, this is an amazing hotel and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury stay in this beautiful city.

This is a quality hotel. We only came across the reception staff but they were charming and efficient. We commented one morning that the hair dryer was defective and by the end of the day it was repaired. We thought the breakfast at 30 euros was ridiculously expensive, not I suppose if you want a champagne breakfast, but fresh fruit juice, coffee, hot rolls and croissants would have been sufficient for us. We would have liked the option of a smaller breakfast because the breakfast room was charming. As it was we ate out every morning. The room though was delightful, the hotel very convenient for all sight-seeing and we'd go there again.

We had a superior deluxe room and it was expertly furnished and nice and large. No canal view, but it was very quiet. Very good shower and spacious bathroom. The pool, sauna and turkish steam bath were all clean and great to relax in before going out for the evening. Note - the jacuzzi has been filled in. We used the hotel as a base into bruges (which is excellent for a 3 day stop), so never took the champagne breafast or used the hotel restaurant or bar - there are plenty of places in bruges. The bar was dark and 'over furnished' for my taste. We will go back at Christmas, but may stay at the Martins Orangerie hotel - also 4* and part of the same 'small luxury' group but on the opposite side of the canal - it looked 'lighter and airier'. When choosing it was between two but the Tuilereen had an offfer on.

One hour drive from Calais Eurotunnel. Central location. Easy walking to shops, museums and amenities. Hotel was clean, staff polite and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has a small pool for the children to splash around in and private parking which is a bonus. The parking costs 30-35 euros per night. Breakfast was extra but children loved the chocolate fountain! Well worth it. Highly recommended and would go back to this hotel.

The hotel has a lovely ambience. Staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. The hotel was within a few minutes walking distance of everything you could want and yet it was very quiet. I would choose it again.

Attirés par les photos et la description du site, nous avions réservé une chambre dans cet hôtel pour un week-end de rêve en famille. Tout commençait bien. L’hôtel était admirablement situé en centre ville. La façade superbe, le hall d’accueil feutré et cosy tel que nous l’imaginions. Mais tout s’est très vite gâté. Notre chambre était située dans une annexe, un bâtiment situé au fond de la cour. La chambre était meublée avec goût, mais très sombre. La fenêtre située très en hauteur empêchait toute vue. De toute façon, elle donnait dans une ruelle. Sur la réservation, il était prévu que nos enfants aient chacun un lit. En fait, un canapé convertible était déployé pour eux. Canapé inconfortable, et qui de plus grinçait. Mais le pire était à venir : la chasse d’eau fuyait abondamment et sans discontinuer. Nous avons donc passé une nuit plus que difficile entre le bruit des toilettes et ceux du canapé. Pour tout dédommagement, la réception nous a fait grâce de la taxe de séjour. Compensation ridicule par comparaison au prix très élevé de la chambre auquel il a fallu ajouter le prix du stationnement et le petit déjeuner à un tarif exhorbitant( notamment pour des enfants) Même l’accès internet dans la chambre était payant, alors que la réservation stipulait que cet accès était gratuit....... Une adresse donc à déconseiller !

Hôtel très bien placé pour toutes les visites dans Bruges. Très confortable et meublé avec goût. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est exceptionnel ainsi que le restaurant de l'hôtel. Accueil très sympathique. Une seule envie : y retourner !

Hotel à dimension humaine avec un personnel gentil. l'hôtel réserve de bonnes et mauvaises surprises. Nous avons séjourné dans trois chambres différentes au même prix mais pas du tout du même niveau. Le coin piscine est d'un niveau deux étoiles et le restaurant qui propose une bonne cuisine est baigné par les odeurs de chlores de celle-ci. Les petits déjeuners sont de très bonne qualité servi dans une très belle pièce.

Mon mari et moi avons passé un séjour très agréable à Bruges. L'hôtel est décoré avec goût, le personnel est disponible et sympathique. Notre chambre était spacieuse et propre. Hôtel idéal pour profiter d'un feu de cheminée tout en buvant un verre. Il est très bien situé, à trois minute de la place markt et mitoyen au musée groeninge. Le seul petit bémol, nous y étions pour le soir du réveillon et nous avions prévu de faire un room service et l'équipe du restaurant était débordée, nous n'avons, donc pu commander qu'un plateau de fromages. Bref, pas grand chose par rapport à tout le reste.

Nous avons vécu une merveilleuse parenthèse de calme, de luxe et de sérénité pour ce 31 décembre 2011. Merveilleux souvenir....

Una verdadera joya. La ambientación y decoración de un verdadero Small Luxury Hotel. La sonrisa y calidez del personal, para cualquier detalle,hacen más agradable la estancia.

It's small but perfectly managed luxurious hotel. We used a elegantly renovated old carrige house's 2 story room. It was very spacious and comfortable! We felt like we travelled to the Middle Age by choosing Tuilerieen. In addition, kind and considerate staff made our stay more pleasant. Strongly recommended!

tout est parfait à part les prix - 24 € pour le ptit dej, je trouve cela un peu exagéré... il est vrai qu'ils y servent du laurent périer mais quand même....

Hotel de Tuilerieen Brugge, centrale positie, lekkere ontbijten, lieve bedienden!

Es un hotel salido de cuentos principescos. La atencion es espectacular y el servicio de desayuno es incomparable, cinco estrellas y maxima cordialidad. Quiero volver!!!!

Enormt hyggeligt hotel hvor værelserne har individuel indretning som passer super til hotellets "gammeldags" indretning. Vi ved ihvertfald godt hvor vi overnatter næste gang vi tager til Brügge. Klart anbefalesesværdigt især til romantisk ferie.

Mycket trevligt hotel. Enda nackdelen var priset för frukost.. Det fanns emellertid många cafeer i närheten där man kunde äta billigare frukost. Kan varmt rekommenderas

Hotel ben posizionato su un romanticissimo tratto dei canali di Bruges. Abbiamo solo pernottato con nostra grande soddisfazione, ottimo davvero.

emplacement ideal en plein centre ville. on a adoré le petit dejeuner avec la fontaine au chacolat et le champagne. Mais nous sommes decu par la chambre tache sur le dessus delit,bac adouche en plastique,canape dans la chambre taché et 1 serviette deteint en rose alors que tout est blanc.Nous avions pris une chambre executive

Hôtel cosy et propre .la piscine est très petite mais bien entretenue. Seul petit bémol : pas de fenêtre dans la partie chambre de la suite , mais c 'est vraiment une broutille
