Hotel stay was good only thing was that I had a room for a disabled or very elderly person. One soap bar which you had to use for both face and body.I have stayed here before and it was better then. I know we can"t always be perfect. I really can't understand why you should pay for parking if your stay at these hotels. Do you expect people to park out on the street when your paying a pretty good price for the room already and then you ask for money to park there. I really don't see the logic. Help me understand..

When my boyfriend and I stepped up to the counter, the first thing that was said to us by the attendant was that we must have reserved the holiday inn behind them... When they checked further as to why we did not have a room reserved they simply said it was a third party(hotels.com) fault that they could not do anything. Worst of all, all this discussion was useless because we DID have a reservation at the Hilton and their careless first impression made our first experience there horrid.

The hotel was very nice and looks amazing. I had an executive suit for a special night and she loved it. Dinner and a show in New Brunswick and then the 5 minute ride to the Hilton.

Great value. Nice snacks in the sports bar. Great breakfast in the cafe.

The hotel is great! Friendly staff! Theres not much around the hotel though... Nothing that you can walk to anyway...spent a fortune on cabs! Next time I'll rent a car. Other than that it was really nice

this place was nice, neat and good for the value of ur money. we spend christmas eve and christmas night for a mini romantic getaway. the stay was awsome. staff was extemly freindly. speacial thanks to their associate catherine. she was very sweet and nice via phone and in person.

We arrived a bit late and waited for close to 40 minutes to check in because the only woman who could check us in had "gone upstairs." Parking was not free, neither was Wi-Fi. We ordered room service the next morning and they add a 20% gratuity as well as a 3% delivery tax. A five minute local call cost over $7.00. Room was clean and comfortable. Overall, this hotel is mediocre in terms of service, and the added charges are ridiculous. I expected more from a Hilton, even one in NJ. I would not recommend this hotel, I believe the new Days Inn right next door is comparable and offers a free breakfast as well as free parking.

Extremely convenient to NJ Turnpike and a good point to stay if continuing on to New England or parts north and east.

While the staff was extremely helpful, there was a function at the Hotel for 3 of the 4 days we were there. This overtaxed the facilities of the Hotel. Guest parking was very limited and even unavailable. The four elevators were so overused, that they needed an operator in each of them. Had I been made aware of this, i would never have stayed there. The Hotel itself is in need of updating.

The air conditioning was poor to nil. We sweated the entire night, and trying to get ready for events needful to be at within the hotel was like stepping out of a sauna everytime we left the room. The beds were too soft and squishy, it was overpriced, the guy on the "eggs to order", couldn't make an overlight to save his life. The elevator system stunk and the esculators were shut down at times. the reservations were not satisfied to our specifications as far as floor location. for the rating of the hotel, it is bogus. i wouldn't give it more than a 2 star if that.

I've stayed at this hotel over the years while attending an annual conference at Rutgers. It's really close and The Hilton quality is exceptional and certainly beats most everything nearby. On THIS occasion, though I'd accidentally left some medications on the bath vanity and so far, after 3 days and placing 5 calls, Ive yet to get a return call. Weird, and very UN-Hilton like. There is a NEW Holiday Inn Express right next door. I may have to check that one out next time. NOTE: the traffic light is LONG in front of the Hilton coming off of Hwy 1. DONT think it's stuck or pressure sensitive, run it and pull into the parking lot. They (the police) WILL get you.

The hotel was pretty nice and the room was very clean. Everything was updated and comfortable. The lobby looks real nice. I wish they had free wifi, though. It was free in the lobby.. not sure why it couldn't be free in the rooms. They should have more comfy seating all through the lobby and 2nd level. It's relaxing to sit out there with the waterfall. The parking is in the garage, and you have to walk outside and a little ways to get to it. The garage itself is not impressive. The staff told us the exact incorrect directions for places to eat, and so we got terribly lost until about 1 in the morning. We found that when coming out of the hotel area, to turn LEFT, instead of right, and there are lots of places. The area is not that easy to navigate, as is the case with most of that area of Jersey. The roads are laid out very weird. The general location is ok. We wanted to visit Hoboken as well as Brick, and having found a hotel from Florida without knowing the area, this was an ok place. The best thing is that the hotel was very comfortable and nice.

Upon checking in, the hotel staff told me because we had a truck we had to park in the back in the dimly lit loading area, we later saw other trucks going into the garage and parked there. The height limit in the garage is 6'6" so any visitor with a vehicle taller than that may have to park on the street where there is no designated parking, so beware of tickets. There are two lanes in front of the hotel, one for valet and one for self-parking. Even though we were told to park in the loading area and then self-parked every day, upon check out, we were charged a fee for parking. No where that we could find does it mention a fee for parking or any size limitations. We suggest walking to the hotel. Our room was very nice and clean and came with a breakfast buffet which we tried the first morning and were very impressed with the food and the presentation in the cafe. The second morning however, that good feeling was swept away when the wait staff asked for our vouchers which had not been mentioned before. We said we would sign the rather expensive bill to the room and settle the issue at the front desk but the waiter insisted on very conspicuously calling them to ask if breakfast was included with our room, embarrassing my wife and I. The front desk told the waiter over the phone that it was not included so we signed the meal to the room, retrieved our copy of the confirmation email from our bags and brought it to the front desk. They appologized and gave us vouchers for our last morning there but did not offer anything for our embarrassment. We've had much better stays at lower priced hotels and would likely not stay at a Hilton again, at least not the one in East Brunswick, New Jersey.

When I booked this hotel I was told parking was included. That is not the case, They charge you $8.00 a day to park your car and you have no where else you can park, so you are forced to pay an additional $8.00.

our second stay...very satisfied again

I stayed in the Hilton Memorial day weekend. It was way too noisy. Kids were running up and down the hallways, people yelling down the halls at 6am. I stayed on the 6th floor which was over the ball room. On Saturday night you could feel the bass from the music shake your bed. I would not stay there on a holiday weekend.

Driving from northern New England to Washington, DC would make for an unpleasantly long day, but the Hilton East Brunswick is conveniently located for a stopover. The college town of New Brunswick with its eateries and amenities are close by, the hotel is very close to the New Jersey Turnpike. Accommodations were in wonderful condition and the hotel overall was very chic. If you can get a good deal on this hotel, it is an excellent location to break up a longer drive up or down the Atlantic coast.

I live literally 15 minutes away, but there was a deal too good to pass up an my roommate had some friends over. The facilities is what did it for me, after running a 5K, going from the hot tub to the sauna and back to the hot tub was very welcome. It was time to leave when the children showed up with their pool toys, despite the sign that said "no pool toys" The room was nice and big enough. I would stay again. I would have given the hotel service a 5 but I had to pay overnight parking, despite the gate being open my entire stay and could have been free. It's near highways so you have to get into your car and drive to everything. It would have been great if it was in town, however, the price probably wouldn't have been as great.

We ordered a taxi - came down at the exact time and they had given our taxi to another guest. Ordered room service the night before for breakfast - after waiting we called and they said that they had never received our order - my son had a plane to catch and was counting on the breakfast before his flight. Very dissatisfied - thought that staying at a Hilton we would receive quality service.

The hotel is old. May not give the best value for money because it is in need of renovations. Otherwise it was clean.

This was a very clean, comfortable hotel. The staff was very friendly and very polite and helpful !!!We enjoyed our stay there very much!!!...Becky from Michigan!!!

Stayed at the Hilton for NJ Salsa Congress. Room was comfortable. Pool, jacuzzi, and sauna were amazing! It was also surprising, great, and much appreciated that there were water coolers in different areas that never ran out and cups were always available. The only downside was that the restaurants weren't opened when during the hours listed, so the food selection was either very poor, expensive or non-existent. Ended up ordering delivery for dinner but definitely would've liked to have something filling to eat other than a bag of doritos from the gift shop at 10:30pm. If you get the midnight munchies, plan ahead and stock up.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and provided everything we needed. We felt comfortable and the hotel was easily accessible to and from various people we were visiting. Would definitely stay there next time.

I was there for an overnight stay for a 1/2 marathon nearby. I came around 7pm to check in and they had given my original assigned room to someone else and was given a room right next to elevator which I specifically requested a room away from the elevators. In any case, I just kept the room b/c I was too tired to request another one after 2:15 minute drive. As I walked into the room, I noticed that the mirrored door for the closet was tilted and precariously staged. I also noticed that I didn't have a coffee maker. I had to make 2 separate calls to report each one as I noticed these items. It was very disappointing to come to a highly recommended place and maintenance was sub-par.

I was very impressed with the quality of the hotel for the price I paid-- much nicer than I expected. Kinda need a car to get anywhere but other than that a very happy experience.

Nice, clean, comfortable room. Not the most updated or elegant decor, but the reasonable price made up for it. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our stay at the hotel was excellent which was what we were looking for. The food was great,the bar was accomadating and the house keeping vstaff were very pleasant.

I attended a conference in this hotel, and am familiar with the local area, but the charge for parking, high prices for food and easy access only from one direction combines to make this hotel not somewhere I'd stay if I had a choice.

It is immediately obvious that this is a business hotel with a good volume of rooms occupied by convention attendees. The services utilized by most, the Cafe and Sports Bar, are really above average and need to be given the lack of any alternatives within walking distance. There are a sufficient number of quality restaurants a short drive away (and the hotel offers van service) to eliminate any feeling of being stranded within a commercial complex.

I was on a floor that had smoking rooms and smoke was coming into my room. I called the front desk to tell them that I thought someone was smoking in the hallway. They said that smoke from the other rooms travels into the non-smoking rooms. Never stay here!

It was forth of july weekend and this hotel dropped the ball on every level of service. I explained I would be staying there to celebrate the holiday, with my boyfriend who was a Marine, and gave them ample notice to please make it special, provide and upgrade ect. There was the same plate of room service food the entire stay, none of the soda machines worked, they had no champagne glasses and they put a hold on my credit card even though they assured me they wouldn't.

My boyfriend and I loved our hotel room. It was clean and did not smell of cigarette smoke. We only wished that there was a mini-fridge so we had a place to put our dinner leftovers when we went out. I thought the breakfast buffet was overpriced for what they offered. You're better off going to a diner.

Well Where do I start, first off they charge you $8 per day to park in the parking garage, which is the only parking they have available. On top of that they don't even have the whole garage open for parking, so I had to drive around at least 2 times each time I wanted to park. They do not offer any kind of free breakfast, you can get the "continental breakfast" for $15 which is the cheapest breakfast they offer unless you go a la carte. The offer internet but for a surcharge of $9.99 for 24 hours. Overall for the price I payed I expected ALOT more. next time I will save some money and stay at the Days Inn for half the price and enjoy a free continental breakfast, free high speed wireless internet, and also free parking.
