Unique Luxury Park Plaza - بوينس آيريس

this hotel is located in the best neighood in Recoleta. We can walk to the Cementerio. There is a Cafe next door where you can get great lunches and quick suppers. The elevators do not fonction well all the time as the air conditioning in our room. All the hotels in the neighborhood seem to be 5 stars and the Park Plaza does not look like more than a 3 stars by comparaison.

Liked the staff there very much....were all most willing to help us

This hotel is nice, but the location is excellent; it is in one of the safest neighborhoods in BsAs, just a few blocks to the famous Recoletta cemetary, the museum of fine art, the Colon theater, and an easy walk to the microcentro. Expect pretty much the minimum level of service, standard rooms, and a breakfast that's not too fancy. Overall I'd say this was a very good value for the money and I'd stay here again.

Staff very friendly, flexible and well informed. Multi-lingual front desk personnel. Room was very nicely furnished in a period style. Bathroom was very clean and well appointed. Breakfast buffet included was excellent. The tiny elevators were cute but very slow and not convenient with large bags. Location is excellent - just a few blocks to the cemetary or shopping.

Nothing special but not horrible.

Situated in a safe neighbourhood very close to the cemetary where Evita is buried. Close to the city's best Gelato shop and good restaurants. Lovely trees in inner courtyard provided a quiet, green outlook. Nice room but bathroom a bit in need up an upgrade. Tiny lifts but in good working order.

The hotel was in a great location and easy to find. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. The only minor problem were the two small elevators which were often stuck on diferent floors because guests did not properly shut the doors when exiting. Ask for a lower floor to avoid a long wait. I wouls stay there again.

Good central location in a nice area of Buenos Aires. Helpful staff (helping booking rooms in other towns, happy to mind bags before evening flight). The rooms were clean and a good size. The buffet breakfast was good.

Walking distance close to all of Recoleta's points of interest. Hotel is just off of Buenos Aire's chic Avenida Alvear near the Jockey Club, Vatican, French & Brazilian embassies. Hotel services are good, especially the internet service which is sold in blocks of 12 hours ($14 USD) that can be used throughout one's stay. Beds are extremely comfortable (for those that like soft beds). Only down side is that there are no down pillows and the hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk from the nearest subte station.

This hotel is in a great location in Recoleta, a beautiful and safe neighborhood. It's a beautiful hotel with outstanding staff that are very accommodating. They also serve a nice breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again for sure.

This hotel is located in a great area of Recoletta. You are within walking distance to many restaurants, stores, museums and parks. The staff was very courteous and spoke english, spanish and portuguese fluently. Recommended!

Even when I request non smoking room, they gave me a room with a strong cigarret smell, the bathroom was filthy, we can clearly see the mould between the tiles, and the roof, my wife found a cockroach in the courtains, poor service, we request a adapter for our outlets and we did not get any, I couldn't charge my cellphone. The business center had only one computer, and there was always people waiting to use it. overall I was really disapointed with this hotel. The only good thing was the location.

Excellent neighborhood but hotel is quite old and could do with some renovation. Bathroom was by far the worst with little room and leakages

Great Neighborhood, Polite staff, clean, everything as expected. I was expecting Coffee machine and iron in the room but it seems it is uncommon in Latin America. The booking comes with free Tango show but it was really not free - you must pay about 260 Pesos about US$70 per person (you may find several Tango shows below this price). Overall satisfied, Happy and recommended.

Boutique hotel with large, comfortable rooms in a quiet street. We would recommend the rooms higher up as the windows aren't very well isolated and any noise from the street can be heard. Hotel is very well located and close to main sights. We stayed there for 10 days and would definatly return.

I was in BA Dec 2009 and chose this hotel based on reviews and price. The hotel was truly worth every penny. Room was easily large enough for two. Decor was nice. Yes, bathroom was a bit small, but still functional even for two ;) Staff was friendly all the time; Ask them whatever you need to know or see. Breakfast was quite standard, but good. Didn't have dinner in the hotel so cannot comment that one. Location was really nice also. About 10min walk to Recoleta, 5min to Julio 9, and 15min to Florida St. Like you need to walk in BA, where taxi costs next to nothing.

The Park Plaza Unique was a nice small hotel in an upmarket safe location. My room was good, though the bathroom was small with little storage. Staff members were friendly enough but not overly helpful. Internet wnet down after one day and their attitude was 'well it's broken' no interest in getting it fixed quickly. There was supposed to be room service but when I looked for dinner one evening no one answered my call, I went down to the restaurant myself to find it closed..it was 8pm...well within its supposed opening hours. The hotel is in walking distance to many attractions but taxis are very cheap and readily available. I would stay at the hotel again if I received a very good rate but in all honesty I would probably suggest looking at other options.

Best location in BA-

I asked for a non-smoking room, and I got a room that had clearly been smoked in for a long time, and there was an ash tray in it. I asked to be switched, and he said that they were out of non-smoking rooms. The bed was super squishy, my back was sore after sleeping there...

The front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was good sized but the bath rooms are small and without counter space (we used the counter of the wetbar across the entry hall from the bathroom for our personal items). Forget the promotion for the included tango show: it is at a lesser-known theater in La Boca (across the city, and you must provide your own transportation). The front desk will suggest other shows with better offerings (including transportation) that are much closer.

This was my second stay at this hotel. The rooms aren't the most modern, special the bathrooms, and the noise from the hall invades your space. Nonetheless, the location on Alvear Avenue is can't be beat. The reception staff is extremely nice - but they put your credit card info at check-in on one of the old-fashioned multiple forms, and they unfortunately gave mine to another guest, by mistake, at their checkout. I've had to cancel my card and all that this entails. Just an unfortunate mistake, but it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Staff is outstanding, first and foremost. Rooms are impecably maintained and very comfortable. Location really can't get any better either, within walking distance of everything. Will definitely recommend and stay again.

Very well appointed hotel, in a great part of town, Recoleta. The trappings were beautiful and my stay was extremely pleasant. I would have liked more free internet access.

El hotel no cumplió con mis expectativas básicas. Es increíble que te cobren por separado hasta el desayuno, las Key-card para entrar a las habitaciones funcionaban mal, el control remoto de la TV funcionaba a duras penas y la bañadera no alcanzaba a contener el caudal de agua de la ducha.

excelente el servivcio y la atencion del personal. Mal mantenimiento de las instalaciones. En el baño habia perdida de agua, ventanas que no cerraban bien, etc.

Estuvimos con mi esposa 3 noches en buenos aires donde estuvimos en un Hotel 3 estrellas los dos primeros días, y luego emigramos (para probar) otro Hotel. Algo más lejos del centro de buenos aires, pero ubicado en un barrio que da gusto, limpio, buenas veredas, el look del hotel Idem a como se presenta en la WEB. La habitación standar, realmente bien decorada con detalles muy hermosos. Hotel para quedar bien con la Señora y muy cerca del aeropuerto (Aero Parque), que está mucho más cerca de Baires que Ezeiza.

Bem localizado. Recepção muito boa, os funcionários da recepção são simplesmente espetaculares. Bem informados, muito educados e sempre bem humorados. O café-da-manhã é péssimo! O pior que já provei! Não há frutas, qdo acaba algo, não é reposto, as mesas não são limpas. Estive em B.A. trabalhando, e num dos dias perdi meu horário, pois qdo cheguei ao refeitório, todas as mesas estavam sujas, invadi a cozinha e todos os funcionários sentados, conversando como nada estivesse acontecendo. Desrespeito total. O quarto, tudo meio velho e cheirando mofo. Hotel B.O. - Bonito e Ordinário!

la ubicacion del hotel es excelente, pero definitivamente NO ES un hotel de 4 estrellas, es extremadamente chico, el ascensor es viejo y solo para dos personas, solo una persona en recepcion con decenas de huespedes esperando, no tenian adaptadores de enchufe ni paraguas disponibles cuando lo necesitamos. el banio viejo. la cama sin embargo excelente, las sabanas buenisimas y comodas, si no hay otra opcion este hotel es valido pero no como una opcion de cuatro estrellas

Achei que poderia ser mais atualizado apesar de antigo, modernizasse elevador, por exemplo, Café da manhã é suficiente, nada tão excepcional, para o padrão de café por ex. dos brasileiros. Outra o hóspede não tem onde ficar, não tem nada de lazer, nem sequer piscina, O espaço do café também é simplório para o padrão da diária, deixa a desejar, porém as acomodações são amplas.Só estranhei banheiro com bidé, Não existe....

Os elevadores funcionam mal e falta um serviço 24 horas para lanches, mesmo que fossem simples. Mas a localização é agradável, em rua com silêncio, árvores e próxima de pontos turísticos bonitos. O atendimento varia, conforme o funcionário, indo do frio e mal-humorado ao gentil. Depende a sorte do cliente, em cada turno. O café da manhã peca na reposição dos pratos que vão sendo consumidos no buffet. A reposição do estoque deveria ser ágil, porque o café é pago à parte, mas isso não acontece.
