Okay motel

The Hotel was clean and staff was very courteous, the mattress was a bit lumpy and soft, however they where remoldeling.

I liked the hotel, the staff was helpful and our room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed our stay.

Had a very nice stay at your hotel. Was in town to play golf and see the sights with friends. Room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff was helpful and very attentive.

The hotel was undergoing renovation, but we were not disturbed in any way. The staff was friendly, the room clean, but the breakfast was more continental than advertised. There were small donuts and muffins and waffles. I am used to the Hampton Inn's yogurt, fruit, eggs, grits, oatmeal, etc. My husband is diabetic and there was no food he could eat. Luckily, there is a Perkins within walking distance. The hotel may be okay for others, but I prefer to stay at a Hampton, where the stay is guaranteed or money back.

This hotel was in an excellent location for seeing the sites in Gettysburg. Plenty of dinning locally as well. The rooms were ok, ours had a broken cabinet door & the refridgerator was not working. Also the internet was out the entire three days we were there. The walls are a little thin, you could hear people in adjoining rooms. The staff however were very pleasant & helpful, the continental breakfast was pretty good also. I would consider satying here again & recomend it to others. Especially for travelers on a budget.

The hotel was undergoing renovations and there was a bad odor throughout the hallway. I'm sure that the hotel is fine when work is not being done, but had I known about the renovations I would have chosen a different hotel.

Great staff and service, nice accomodations, reasonable price.

Hotel staff was very friendly, hotel rooms were clean and comfy - but the condition of the hotel was poor due to the renovation (that we thought was finished already). The snack machines did not work and there was only 1 working ice machine on the premises. Will definitely stay there again - after renovation is completed of course! :) Great bargain.

Lobby under construction, improvements will make a big difference. Breakfast ends at 9:30 sharp, even if you are sitting there. Bathroom could be cleaner. One bed comfy, other soft and bouncy. But, the price was right and the desk staff very friendly.

On one occasion my room was left unlocked- upon my return at 8:00PM the door was left open with the night latch extended beyond the door frame. On a second occasion I was not left any coffee and a third night was not left any cups. All reported to the desk clerk.

The room was a little bit smaller than what the pictures showed on line but all in all very comfortable and wonderful friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was being renovated while we were there but there were no interruptions . Complementary breakfast was only until 9:30am. I would like to see that go till at least 10:30am . basically it was all self served. You could make your own waffles, or just had choice of some breakfast cookies and danish , coffee and tea. Taking into all considerations, since we went OFF -season (february). the hotel is approx 1/2 mile to Gettysburg battlefield, and right out side and accross the highway were places to eat/ drink and be merry. The stay was very nice and I would recommend to others.

This hotel offered bus transportation to local historical sights and shopping areas. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and a free continental breakfast was available. We enjoyed our stay!

Despite the dust from renovations, this is a nice Days Inn: good staff, clean, good free breakfast. The neighboring restaurant "Perkins" was pretty good as well. All in all, it was a nice experience for the group of us (we had rented six rooms in Jan. 2012). When they finish their renovations (sping 2012), this will be a great place to stay, especially if the prices stay low.

Our room was great - comfortable and quiet. However, the first floor was being renovated completely and things were pretty disorganized.

Very nice and clean. Perfect for what is needed for a hotel stay. Nice location for all the surrounding attractions.

Room was OK with easy access to 4th floor, coffee in lounge all hours was nice also,they had a large book to look through showing menus from various local restaurants in area which was helpful also attendant at front desk was very helpful on area events for the night.

Best value in town! Very clean,a real hotel at an unbelievable rate,my spouse and I couldn't be happier.

A good value. No problems. Closing the breakfast at 9:30 is too soon.

Tv could stand to have more channels .

My in-laws traveled to Gettysburg to visit family over Thanksgiving and this was the perfect hotel! The price was unbeatable, especially since it included breakfast. They were very pleased with the convenience, friendliness of the staff, and overall cleanliness of the hotel. Overall great deal in the Gettysburg area!

Out of all the hotels Ive booked here on Hotel.com this has been the best Hotel I have stayed in. The only thing I saw wrong was the water damage on the wall from the tub.

As a parent of a senior @Gettysburg College, i had stayed at many hotels in the area. I have to say that the staff at this hotel are exceptional. Friendly, warm and very good at their duties. I am booking rooms for graduation and i am sure that all parties that land in Gettysburg will be happy here in May...a pool... a hot tub...a pretty good breakfast(could use some more fresh fruit?) and reasonable price.

This hotel was clean, comfortable, and a quick ride to all the sites. The staff was helpful and there was even a continental breakfast. For the small price it exceeded expectations.

Booked Five Rooms for an overnight stay...Hotel was very nice.. Continental Breakfast was better then expected....Had a little problem with the remote.. they sent someone up immediately to take care of it.... A couple mile drive to the Visitor center... probably less to town....but for the Money couldn't be beat.....all 8 people who stayed in our five rooms were happy.....Also had a Perkins next door for a late night snack.... Worked out well would stay there again.... Thanks.....

The hotel was adequate. The rate was very reasonable when compared to other hotels in the area. Upon my first visit to the bathroom, I noted that the bathtub was dirty. There was a significant amount of visible dirty particles in the bottom of the tub. I phoned the desk and requested to have the tub cleaned. I was told that housekeeping had left for the day. I then asked if there was anyone that could clean the tub. I was told, "no". I then asked for the cleaning products and I would clean the tub, myself. I was again, given the answer, "no". I was then told that housekeeping arrives for work approximately 7:30am-8:00am and they would be contacted to arrive at my room "first thing". By 8:30am, still no housekeeping. After calling the desk, I was told that housekeeping would be contacted immediately. Another 30 minutes later, no one from housekeeping had arrived so I contacted thedesk again. Approximately another 10-15 minutes later, housekeeping arrived and graciously cleaned the tub. The lady from housekeeping was very nice and asked if there was anything else she could do at this time. I did not encounter any other problems during my stay. I was disappointed, however, that I did not have the option of taking a shower before I went to bed after my arrival and I had also missed the continental breakfast, since it was only available until 9:30am. By the time housekeeping cleaned the tub and I showered, breakfast was no longer available. I travel a lot. This was the first time of making a reservation at a Days Inn. Although the facility was adequate, good customer service is essential. I feel that if I had not been persistent, my request would not have been met and no one bothered to follow up with me about this. I felt that no one was concerned about me, as a guest. Perhaps, if good customer service had been implemented, I would not have found it necessary to write a negative review.

We haven't stayed at a Days Inn in quite awhile, but we were so pleased with this particular one in Gettysburg. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. Only one problem - the toilet kept running and we had to "fix" it several times. Otherwise, all was well. Hopefully, we can plan on coming back in the near future.

We were very pleased with the room we stayed in and were so impressed with the cleanness of the room. We loved everything about the hotel and we would stay there again when we are travelng that direction.

Very nice hotel for the money. Perfect location in location to the sites. No complaints, would stay again.

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in and the price was beyond reasonable. Would not even consider another hotel in this area. Very clean, fresh, with nice staff. Only (slight) downside is the breakfast selection (waffle maker, bagels, cereal, toast) is a bit limited, with no protein available, but there is a Perkins beside the hotel if you want something more. We loved our stay.
