This was one of the best 2.5 star rated hotel experiences. The staff was very helpful going above and beyond what I have experienced elsewhere. The pool was cold so they turned on the heat, the had no playpens left so they borrowed one from another hotel. The suite was good, comfortable, clean and quite. Would definately stay again and recommend others to feel comfortable booking here.

As far as convienance to resturants and shopping is concerned the Hampton is at a great location. This Hampton did seem alittle older,darker and mustier than others we had stayed at. The first night was hell because we had a group of students on our floor from taylor isd who decided to party all night. And they happened to be staying right across the hall from us. We called down to the front desk as was asked if we would like the management to come up and "administer some justice" . Really?? I realize that the hotel cannot be held responsible for that but after the students left the stay was comfortable. The breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

I would reccomend this place. It was not the fanciest, but it was very comfortable and the staff was friendly. Also close to alot of nearby attractions. Not bad for the price..

WE were extremely pleased with our stay. The staff was very polite and accomodating. The hotel was spotless and well run. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Stay here often, great hotel, great location. Always nice rooms, people etc .. allowed us to check out a few hours late too. thanks again!!!!

We absolutely love staying here. The staff is super friendly, the breakfast is delicious, the beds are comfy and the indoor pool/hot tub allows for swimming fun regardless of the weather. Centrally located between Corpus Christi and Port Aransas is a bonus!!

Facilities were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Conveniently located near several family priced restaurants. Close to tourist sights.

This Hampton Inn apparently is old. The second floor which we were on was a smoking floor with non smoking rooms. The smell was horrible and pungent. Requested non smoking room which we had but the the minute we stepped off the elevator, the smell was horrible.

the location was near many local eateries and 10 min. from the bay. the room was for 5, but did not have a sleeper sofa, but the staff provided plenty of pillows and blankets and kids made do. would not rent again personally cause kids too large to share, but a good stay for smaller families, and the staff was very friendly with suggestions and information about local entertainment & food choices.

Rooms bright and modern. Very clean and so are hallways and common areas. Breakfast choices are many with hot and cold items. Very attentive staff who wish you to have a good experience at this hotel. One area of caution- elevator on the small side so be advise on this. Pool and hot tub looked clean but we did not use them. Over all a good value and would stay here again when visiting family.

Very nice hotel, had a slight problem with our air conditioner but the staff was very helpful.

When we first checked in, the room was very cold. We turned off the AC, but it never got warm. However, the front desk immediately transferred us to another room and everything was fine. Service was excellent.

The Hampton Inn was a lovely hotel. My significant other and I stayed there for a short summer vacation, and we were impressed with the presentation of our room. It was clean, streamlined, modern and provided all the necessary amenities and more. I wish we had stayed longer to try out the pool, which was conveniently located inside the hotel. The staff was polite, helpful and hard-working which makes a great difference in the hotel ambiance and experience. The continental breakfast was satisfying due to its array of breakfast foods selection. The only aspects that could use improvement are the need for more waffle makers (as there was a long, time-consuming line) and more seating availability. Overall it was a pleasant hotel experience, and the cost was reasonable considering its presentation, amenities and location.

Nice little hotel. Breakfast was fresh and area was clean. Room was comfortable. Location was good for needs on this trip - Hooks game one evening and Port Aransas the next day. Very convenient to a lot of chain stores and franchise restaraunts. Water in pool was too cold and we were told heating element was broken.

Had a wonderful stay the beds were super comfy!

My visit to the Corpus Christi Hampton Inn off South Padre Island Drive was very pleasant. There were some minor issues with the room such as the shower head would not adjust and a desk chair had a broken leg which the staff fixed right away. They really try harder to please their guests. My biggest issue was the slow WiFi. It connected at 11Mbps but acted like it was dial-up speed. I could not watch any videos, not even the news. Luckily, ,I brought my MiFi device which was much faster and the videos worked fine. The front desk clerk told me they are working with AT&T to upgrade their WiFi service. The hot breakfast was good, especially the make your own waffles.

Great value; really comfortable beds; warm indoor pool; perfect location between Corpus Christi & Mustang Island; breakfast was really good with a lot to choose from; rooms could use a mini fridge though but our family still had a great stay!! See you again next summer!!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, the beds are very cosy and comfortable. The hot breakfast buffet they offer is a big plus. The staff is very helpful and friendly, lots of smiles. It's in a convenient location, next to a large shopping center and lots of restaurants. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and family.

except the fire alarm going off early in the morning, pretty comfortable stay. enjoyed the location.

This hotel is in a convenient location and was clean and staff helpful. The only thing I can say bad is the pool was freezing. I think they just re-filled it.

Good shopping and restaurants nearby. Fitness center nearby with free pass a plus. Enjoy staff and chocolate chip cookies.

Good hotel, but a little small. Smallish rooms. Not enough tables for breakfast on the weekends. Overall good hotel.

if u r considerin stayin at this hotel dont. it was the worse hotel ive ever been to. it smelled disgusting n it felt like i was at a motel 6. the rooms were small n cramped.

Very nice hotel and friendly/helpful staff. This is second Hampton Inn we've stayed at in Corpus and they are both wonderful. Certainly worth the extra compared to some other hotels.

this hotel was in the center of all kinds of shopping and not that far away from the beach

The hotel in Corpus Christi was great. It met all of our expectations. The room was very neat and clean and very well furnished. It was located near shopping and many eating establishments and at the same time not far from the beach. We loved the continental breakfast. We would definetly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice affordable place to stay.

The location of the hotel is quite easy to find, it has a lot of restaurants in the surrounding area, a wal-mart and a target close by and easy to get too as well. The staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful to us when we had questions. The room was clean and comfortable. Our little boy loved the indoor pool, it was heated as well. My favorite part was the hot buffet for breakfast. And it just wasn't coffee, donuts, and bagels, it was breakfast with eggs, fruit, potatoes, make your own waffles, toast, bagels, and cereal. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a great stay and would stay there again if we ever go back to texas. I hope all Hampton Inns are like this.
