My family had a great time in the pool , specially my kids. We enjoyed all the great views , restaurants , and hospitality. Overall we would like to come back

Overall, the hotel served its purpose for a recent meeting/romantic get away since it was the only hotel available due to Cochella. However, I would not choose to stay there again. The bed was saggy in the middle. The hotel is pretty outdated. Hotel staff was marginal at best. And to top it off our room service breakfast, which first arrived as the wrong order, had a nice big hair in the eggs. . .

I enjoyed the hotel view and accomodations. The fitness center was a bit antiquated with the older circuit system. One of the cardio machines was not functioning.

Kind staff, great place to relax

We have 2 kids and my wife. I asked extra bed necessary, however, they could not provide us. 4 people can not sleep 2 small beds.

Staff were very nice and quick to respond. The hotel is old, beds not comfortable, and way too much chlorine in the pool. Property had beautiful views of the golf course and mountains. Food was good and parking and access to freeway easy.

This hotel is a perfect example of you "get what you pay for". This hotel was fairly inexpensive and now I know why. The hotel is very old. The bed was saggy in the middle. The so called "fitness room" is a converted hotel room . . . .very odd. We struggled to get a room cleaned, even after being gone all day (the hotel was empty- so they weren't busy). And to top it off our breakfast (room service) the first morning was missing some of what we ordered and then we had a nice black hair in the eggs. ugh! Now, good thing is they of course took off the charge for the breakfast. Internet worked well. Tennis courts were great . . . that's about it! I would not recommend this hotel unless you are simply looking at the price.

Hotel needs an upgrade. Thats about it.

We had to switch rooms upon arrival due to an air conditioning problem. The staff was a little difficult in the beginning, but complied with our wishes. The new room was nice, property is in good condition, and location is great.

great golf course view, but not from our room, the kids loved the heated swimming pool. Our room was clean but the sheets were itchie and our room was not cleaned for our second night stay, the two small pillows on our queen bed was another let down, But we asked for more and they brought us adult size, The hotel food was decent and the staff were polite,

Decided to go to Palm Springs last minute during White Party date. Got a double room within budget. Not bad for 4 people and free internet. Check in was fast but cold. We didn't use any service either for one night stay. Room is a bit old but the pool view is good, with beautiful golf landscape. Five miles to downtown Palm Springs with easy drive. Shopping is slight inconvenient after 11pm.

This hotel is rated a 3 1/2 star but it should be rated a 2 1/2 to 3 star. The beds are very small and the room was just ok. The pool area was very minimal and most of the lounge chairs where old and broken. For the money, it wasn't worth it. I would only stay there again if I was desperate.

We were a little leary with the review we read. We enjoyed the hotel and loved the view of the golf course. We found it very difficult to find out any information about the resort and it's amenities. There was no information in the room or around the hotel and the front desk staff wasn't big on answering questions with any detail. It seemed like the facility was a place that could be very fun and all inclusive, but currently not living to it's full potential. This was a great central location for golf and restaurants.

The room was not that.clean ( needed to be dusted) , the toilet was showing signs of breaking any minute, the beds were too small, problems with access keys that seem to be a problem with other guests.a as well and when we arrived to check in the staff was very unpleasant.

This was my fourth time staying here the first being back in 1999. I agree the place needs an upgrade. The only thing that has changed since the first time I stayed here was the bedspreeds. It has a great view and is in a good location but it needs to be overhauled bad. Its starting to show its age. I will probably stay somewhere else next time.

This is a basic clean hotel. Certainly not luxurious but adequate and the location is the best feature. More suited for a family vacation or for young adults on spring break. Staff are very friendly. The hotel shows it's age and the restaurant was definitely lacking.

Our two night stay was comfortable and as quiet as can be. (This was during spring break) The pool is beautiful and well maintained and at the perfect temperature. There was plenty of parking and the grounds are well kept. The building is older but quite nice. We had a great stay! Thank you.

This may have been a four star property in its day but that was a long time ago. The property and the room are in need of some serious updating.

The grounds where very beautiful, but the rooms BELOW average!! Old and out dated for the price you pay! WILL NOT RETURN!!!!

Rooms could be mistaken for an old Motel 6. Does not feel like a resort at all.

Nice grounds, good location,pleasant staff. Hotel is in need of updating. Substandard linens, old furniture not at all what I expected for 4 stars.

We had a deluxe double room. It had two double beds which were too small for two adults. We thought the room would have two queen beds. The room was nice, however the patio door was incredibly hard to open and close. We dined at the restaurant twice and both times the food and service was superb. The room is a bit dated and could benefit with the upgrade to flat televisions. Over all our one night stay was a very enjoyable experience.

In need of an update.

The Doral Princess was really lovely. We were very pleasantly surprised, since we found it on sale on hotels.com. It was easy to find and convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. We'll definitely try to stay there again. And, next time we'll take time to play the golf course.

We stayed here overnight while we were attending the BNP Parabis Open in Indian Wells. We weren't looking for a high end hotel since we were staying such a short time. The grounds were nice, the golf course was inviting. The rooms were clean but underwhelming. Our beds were rock hard and pillows were very thin and uncomfortable, wish I would have brought mine from home. Overall I wasn't impressed but it served it's purpose. Our next trip trip to the desert will be somewhere different.

Just returned from 4 days at the Doral in Palm Springs area and will definitely return. It's an older hotel, but rooms are spacious and the view of the pool, golf course and mountains are spectacular. We got a great rate second week in March for the Indian Wells tennis tournament and the drive to it was an easy 15-20 mins. and worth the savings. The golf course is a manicured garden and a bargain, especially after 3 pm for 9 holes. Has that old Palm Springs style resort feel and the staff was on the ball.

The room was very very dirty I would never. Stay there again

This hotel barely qualifies as a resort under modern standards. In your grandparent's day, this would be considered a great resort. But in today's modern society, it is a very date property, room, and service. The rooms are very dated. The beds are spongy. The bathroom looks like my parents house that hasn't been upgraded since 1977. The phones were not functioning 20% of the time. The key card got de magnetized simply by rubbing it in your pants pocket. The view was spectacular. The appearance of the staff was very unprofessional. You could have taken the front desk staff members clothing style and their look and dropped them in el pollo loco and they would have not seemed out of place. The uniforms were very old, elastic band worn out, drab colored polo shirts. Some of the staff members shirts were untucked and in disarray. The staff also was not that friendly at the front desk. The valet, however, was friendly, polite, and attentive. Room service for a cup of tea and slice of cake was $27.00. We were there for a soccer tournament nearby and given that circumstance, the hotel met the needs of a warm clean place to stay. The cost was high though and the hampton inn would have sufficed had it not been booked already. But for the cost of the place it was definately not worth it. If this was a resort vacation, I would have been severely disappointed.

I have stayed at the Doral several times and have always found the staff to be friendly and pleasant and thorough. The view and the grounds are absolutely beautiful-in fact the Doral has the best views in the entire Palm Springs area. The rooms have a small refrigerator which comes in handy. The rooms are a little dated in furnishings but they are very clean and comfortable. I will definitely be staying here again!

I was very unhappy with our room. It was outdated looking, it smelled bad and looked like an old Motel 6 room. There were black hairs on the toilet and in the shower and nothing was polished. I really was shocked since the price for the room was so high. The grounds around the hotel were lovely, but inside was another matter. I would not stay there again.

The DORAL PRINCESS was a great, affordable way for us to see the Parabas Open tennis at Indian Wells. We are thinking of making it an annual event for us from the Northwest

Very nice room, huge area downstairs and helpful front desk. Relaxing place overall, I go again!

The hotel conveniently located to major attractions but there are not a lot of good restaurants or shopping with in a 3 miles radius. The outside of the hotel is beautiful! Which causes major disappointment inside when you see how old it is. A major renovation/upgrade to 21st century is definitely in order. The beds were really small and I have never been to a hotel with such flat pillows (and they give you two!) The valet and front desk were very nice and attentive, however called for room service 2 or 3 times on a Saturday night and never got an answer or a call back when the front desk left them messages twice. Overall it served its purpose and fortunately I booked with a 50% off special. Otherwise I would not have been happy with the room rate vs what you actually get.
