The Kelley House was the ideal place to stay and was close to everything including a bus stop with buses to all major towns. The most impressive thing about the hotel was the staff itself. Steve, Charlotte and Nikki really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Steve even hung a picture on the wall that my 2 year old son had colored for him. The cookies baked at night were delicious and they even made a batch of cookies early just so my son could have one before bedtime. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here when I return.

My wife and I celebrated our 13th anniversary! Our stay at the Kelly House exceeded our expectation! Steve the manager was very helpful with must see places and Resturants! I am ready to visit again! We had a great stay!

Very quiet, great location, awesome coffee and muffins in the morning. Friendly staff.

Everything at the Kelley House was top notch. Steven is a fabulous host and recommended fantastic restaurants. Will stay there again!!

Our recent stay was wonderful! Staff, hotel and location were remarkable.

Great staff, nice hotel, good coffee & muffins in the morning. No AC, but if you can get a breeze in the room it is ok. No elevator, pack light if you are on the third floor. Glad we stayed in the off season, place gets busy and the parking lot fills quickly, then the next parking lot is two blocks up.

The hotel is very clean and close to everything there is to do in Edgartown. The only drawback is that the walls are really thin - you can hear normal conversations in the room next to you. I think this is to be expected for a property this old. However, what really disappointed our stay was on the morning of our check out and there was no hot water and no apology was offered by the hotel staff. Other than that, it's a charming hotel with a pub/restaurant adjacent to the property. The fresh backed muffins and coffee in the morning are a nice touch, as are the warm cookies and milk in the evening.

kelley house is a very good place to stay..we had a great time..Manager steve was very helpful..we are planning for the next trip..

We loved everything about the Kelley House. We walked to the pub at night, biked from the hotel to the bike path, and walked out to the beach and lighthouse across from the hotel. The cycling is excellent, even in February, we cycled about 16 miles back and forth to Vineyard Haven. The hotel staff were warm and friendly. The muffins and coffee provided in the morning was excellent. Cookies and milk at 8 each night were great to come "home" to. Our room had everything we needed. A fridge, complimentary water bottles, and a water cooler near the lobby to fill them up. We definitely will return in the Fall.

Its a nice hotel. The room was quite good. They had a CRT TV and not flat screen. But thats ok. The location is good.

Inviting lobby with 2-story ceiling, big leather chairs and a fireplace (and wifi). Innkeeper (Steve) set out cookies at night, and offered me milk to go with them. No elevator, three floors. No bell-person or concierge, but Steve helps. The best part was that when the ferry stopped running due to bad weather, before I made it across from the mainland, they didn't charge me for that night. Great location right downtown in Edgartown.

Very nice inn. Great location in Edgartown. Room clean, large and comfortable. Staff very helpful. Would definitely go back!

Our family (Me, my husband, & our 15 year-old daughter) visited for the weekend just to relax and spend time together. We love to visit MV and never visited during the Fall, nor had we ever stayed in Edgartown. We truly enjoyed ourselves; the Kelley House was located in a convenient location, and from the lobby to the room was nicely decorated and very clean. The fireplace in the lobby offered a warm place to sit and relax, and the cookies and milk in the evening finished the day off great! The Island is less populated, but not deserted, which made shopping and walking around less hectic than it can be in the summer months. I would recommend the Kelley House to anyone looking for a place to stay in Edgartown, and we plan to return for a visit again next Fall.

We spent all day cycling and came back to the hotel. Classical music was playing as we entered the room and it was a very nicely furnished, large, clean room. Free milk and cookies in front of the fireplace in the lobby and a very tasty muffin and coffee for breakfast. Couldn't have asked for more out of the room or the service. We will definitely return here next time we come to Martha's vineyard. We ate at the Newes from America next door and the food and beer were really good.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay. Highly recommended!!

Very satisfied with this Inn. Great location in downtown Edgartown. Great beds other than I wish they owned a couple of Queen sized beds in their two bed suites.

The hotel was excellent. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The staff couldn't be more helpful. I really enjoyed the cookies and milk provided in the lobby each evening. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Large rooms. Free parking. Staff were very courteous and helpful with restaurant bookings. We required a baby crib, which was provided free of charge. Coffee and muffins in the morning and milk and cookies in the evening are complementary. Two min walk to the harbor- very photogenic!

Our short stay was very enjoyable and the location was convenient to all shopping and reataurants. The hotel was very clean and the cookie snacks and apples were a nice touch. The customer service was very helpful as well. Our only complaint was that we requested an early check-in around noon and we were never called until about 4:00 pm.

the location was great- right in the heart of Edgartown. The staff was very professional and very courteous. The muffins in the am. and cookies in the p.m. were a nice touch. We were there during Hurricane Irene. Thankfully, the storm bypassed us but the hotel was well prepared. They put lots of games out for the guest to play and assured us that they had "kits" for all the guests w/ lights etc. The inn is very cozy. Bedding was very comfortable. I would stay there again!

The room we had in the main house was very nice. Spacious and very much up to date and clean. Cookies and milk in the evening and coffee and muffins in the morning were both nice touches. The only negative comment we have is about the pool. It was green. Probably clean but still green. Looked like it needed some TLC. Otherwise we had a great stay and would stay again.....

Having recently stayed two nights at the Kelley House I must say I was horrifically disappointed. Upon entering our room it seemed pleasant enough, but after seeing the bathroom the let down was complete. Old, old and I mean ugly, DIRTY, lineoleum on the floor along with a tub and shower stall that needed complete demolition and updating. Outside the walls were painted two colors, and attemp to cover up something. Even old bathroom corners can be scrubbed clean. Get to it maids! Owners need to invest imn their property if they want to continue to get top dollar that they are asking for. PUHLEASE!!

The Kelly House has a great staff. The room was nice and spacious. The only issue was that the room's A/C did not cool the room. Otherwise i wissh I could stay longer.

Pros: hotel location, large room size, professional front desk staff Cons: murky pool, stained toilet bowl, mildew in shower curtain liner, footsteps from room above, very loud guests next door In my opinion, the pros outweigh the cons. Perhaps asking for a room on the top floor (3rd floor) would eliminate footsteps. Minor housekeeping issues can easily be fixed./cleaned.

Great location but disappointed with B&B. Room smelled,pool water was cloudy and unappealing and overall condition was below average. During our stay we also had a power failure and had no hot water for a full morning. I would not recommend this B&B.

The location of this hotel is great. However there was NO hot water to take a shower. When we informed the front desk they stated the entire building was without hot water. Basically a hotel is a bed and a hot shower at it's least. We should have been discounted but we were simply met with a "Sorry about that". They people at the front desk really seemed to not care that we had no hot water and were not willing to try to please us.

The Kelly house is a lovely hotel in a town where most accomodations B&Bs. The service is excellent. We stayed with our 3 children and everyone was very nice. The sister Harborview Hotel is a little larger so a bit more accommodating for families... a little more expensive. Kelly House guests can swim at Harborview.

Awesome hotel. Right in the heart of Edgartown. Within walking distance of everything. Free shuttles to the beach. Free parking if you drive. Every single member of the staff was polite and helpful. I brought my road bike to the island to do some riding and they had no problem with me keeping it in my room. I forgot my phone charger at home and they lent me a charger for the weekend. They booked restaurants. Arrange rentals. Anything. Amazing!

It is very close to harbor and the neighborhood is fantastic. You don't need a car if you are staying here since the bus stop is just couple of blocks away. Our stay was also fantastic with great service. I didn't give the maximum rating for service 'cause they failed to refill the coffee pods in room for next day. Other than that there were no issues.

What a beautiful and quaint little hotel. Super friendly staff, quick check in and check out, free parking for us and our friend, delicious morning muffins and coffee, comforting chocolate chip cookies and milk by the fire at night. Huge rooms, great bath products, comfy beds and linens. Quiet little pool area. Right in the center of town within walking distance to all shops/restaurants/beaches.

Very classy and comfortable botique hotel in the heart of Edgartown. Very comfortable beds and charming room decor. Highly recommend.

We checked into the Kelly House in a room on the second floor. The room was recently painted and my husband was sensitive to the smell. The staff was very accommodating about moving us to another room that had been repainted a year ago and therefore had no lingering odors. They offered to carry all our luggage to the new room. The first floor room was so comfortable, clean, and filled with extra touches such as silky sheets, "green" soaps, and complimentary water bottles. I would love to stay there again anytime I'm on Martha's Vineyard.

Just returned from our Holiday on Martha's Vineyard - We loved the Kelley House! It was very clean and quite. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. It has a nice pool and lounge on a patio outside. The town of Eadgertown has a great transit system - you can see the island and get around to the other communities like Oak Bluffs very easily. We will definitely return to Kelly House and Edgertown.

Excellent stay. Front desk new staff so they were not to helpfrul, but helpful enough. In 3 weeks they will be more educated about the island. Only complaint, was the hotel did not have a vending machine to get a soda, water, etc. They definitely need one. Met other guests also looking for somewhere to get a drink or snack. Inn keeper was new, but very informative. Staff must become more informative. Loved the hotel.

Although this is an older property and therefore somewhat dated in decor, the friendliness and service component of the staff more than made up for it....Also it was the best property on the island for location. I was very happy with this Edgartown choice and would stay again.

The location of this hotel is excellent! It is in downtown Edgardtown surrounded by all the shops, cafe's, restaurant and of course the harbour. We stayed for 5 days and had a wonderful time.
