Easy to get to hotel. front desk friendly and very helpful

The so-called continental breakfast was less than desired. Not a whole lot to choose from and very small area to even sit. Had to take stuff back to our room to eat. Otherwise the staff was very friendly & accommodating to our needs. Room was clean and hotel was located in a good area close to shopping & restaurants. Rates were reasonably priced.

Excellent stay for the cost.

We have stayed at this motel many times when we come to town. It was always clean, comfortable, and the staff was helpful. This time we had a problem with smoke. We reserved two non-smoking rooms but they smelled of smoke so bad, we had to change rooms. Unforturtuately, they only had one room available. They said it was because our rooms were below smoking rooms. I probably won't stay here again.

Overall, the hotel is not bad. The customer service however was terrible. Extremely rude staff at the front desk.

Clean hotel, right off the 129. Basic conveniences in this area as it seems more industrial, but it suited us perfectly. Staff friendly. We had all we needed. I would stay again.

The room was reasonable price and located for easy access to my interest. The only issue was not in their control, which was the location of the train and the early morning whistle..

It is a motel, a little tired, but the beds were very comfortable. For the price, really great. Breakfast is all carbs. Little choice on fruits.

heater/ac unit very loud and did not keep a comfortable temp in the room. got too hot. otherwise it was a nice clean room, friendly people at the front desk, good continental breakfast. rooms are fairly sound. did not hear a train all night being that close to the RR tracks.

As a women when I travel alone for work I am always afraid to stay at hotels I am unfamiliar with. But this hotel had a good location and plenty of parking close to the front door. The room was clean and the lock worked just fine. The hotel staff in the evening was rude and not helpful at all. But the girl that worked in the morning was much more helpful.

Hotel was clean. Not too many choices for breakfast. Not very many tables to eat at.

The staff was friendly enough and the bed was pretty comfortable. I didn't eat any of the breakfast but walked by and it looked decent. Standard coffee, pastries, cereal, etc. The two biggest gripes were that the chairs were horribly stained (which made me question the cleanliness of everything else) and the bathroom wreaked of cigarette smoke--even though our room was supposed to be non-smoking. Maybe the place just has bad ventilation and it was coming from another room? The rate was reasonable so my expectations weren't off the chart going in so I guess you get what you pay for a little bit (too bad I had already booked as upon driving up the hotel across the street was advertising rooms for 1/3 less on their marquee).

upon arrival, was greated immediately and with in minutes had my key and in my room. The room was clean, comfortable, and roomy. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was very good and everything fresh. I would definately stay here again.

The room was great for the price but, there was food left in the mini fridge, presumably from the previous guest. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.

The room was a nice place to crash for the night. The beds were amazing - since we had been traveling for a week and in several hotels, these were the most comfortable beds of the trip! The bathrooms were the biggest too.

I spent three (3) nights there and the first night, the room had a damp, musty smell that wasn't pleasant at all. This mysteriously disappeared the next two (2) days. The breakfast was pure sugar/carbs with very little fruit and no meat; there as an old, tube TV in the breakfast room. The staff was stingy with the bath soap and towels. Not a dump; I'd say just below average. If the budget is tight and you're forced to stay in Sioux City, Iowa, there are probably other, worse places to stay.

great/met our needs(low price & close to the interstate), very quiet and we were next to the entry.

When I arrived, my door wouldn't lock. They tried to find a room, but all were booked. The next morning, the management and housekeeping staff came to my rescue and gave me a nice upgrade to another room. I do recommend this hotel. The staff is very nice and eager to help you. It is a block away from all kinds of food options, walmart, and gas stations. A nice choice if you are trying to save a buck or two without losing the comfort value.

To those that build/design hotel rooms...please, please, please come up with something that will prevent room doors from slamming shut. Room guests aren't considerate of others and let doors shut on own, even at 1140pm. How about a rubber strip down the side of door?? Brandi is very professional. She handled a non guest request very well.

got to hotel and realized they gave a room on second floor no elevator my mom is handicapped so they offered us the suite at no extra charge my mom was absolutely thrilled and the bed is super comfortable would stay again!!!!

I have nothing bad to say about this place. people are friendly the price is right, close to walmart, rooms are comfortable and very clean, breakfast is very good and so is the coffee, indoor pool and hot tub. Pet friendly with a 15 buck fee which I did not mind paying because the hotel was nice. We will book there again.

The staff and ammenities of the hotel were impeccable! We felt as if we were at home the whole stay, the staff deserves All of the credit for that. Wonderful hotel.

It was a nice stay.

It was very nice. The people there were very nice My daughter and I went there to just relax and go shopping. It worked out very nice.

I was very comfortable in my room. The Staff were friendly and helpful. Be mindful of the nearby railroad crossing. A little noisy at times because of this.

Although this location is up to the Days Inn standard in most ways, the smell of smoke within the building was miserable. I noticed it in the hallway to the room, and then even within the room smoke could be smelled during the night. Not acceptable. Management says they are aware and will work on the issue. It is just something to be aware of.

The hotel was so dirty. Our toilet broke at 12am and we had to pack up and switch rooms. The person on duty gave us a plunger instead of coming in and trying to fix it himself. I will never stay at a Days Inn again because of this experience.

The Days Inn in Sioux City Iowa advertizes a heated pool and hot tub. A slightly rumpled note at the front desk advises that the hot tub is broken and being repaired. During a 3 day stay, NO workmen were ever seen. The pool itself is very small and just barely "heated"-84 degrees is what the motel claims. The included breakfast was very nice and the eating area spotless. We missed the hot tub, but the motel still gave a decent value for our money. Front desk employees were very attentive to guests.

nice double sized room with a kitchenette area and 2 additional sinks. Lots of room for a family of 6 plus 2 dogs

This hotel was clean, comfortable and affordable. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The biggest thing I would like to see added, is more of a variety for the breakfast. We stayed several days and I got kind of tired of the same old danish and waffles.

As I was walking in with my luggage @ 10pm, the front desk attendant passed me and went on her smoking break. After I waited over 10min I finally found a small card with her contact number at which she told me she was on break, when she finally finished her break she finally came in to help me. She checked me in with no apology. When I got up to my room after working 15hrs. . . one of the beds was stained from what looked to be a fecal accident and the bathroom grout was growing mold. I was so tired that I took the cleaner of the two beds and crashed. A few hours later the a/c started screaming due to loose bearings, shortly after that the fridge compressor joined in the squealing chorus. As other people have mentioned there are several trains that go through daily and can be heard as if they're in the parking lot. I am in town working at BPI and have told everyone there, including management not to have anyone stay here unless they don't like them! I spent the first two days this week at "Victorian Inn" across the street for the same price and would recommend that you do the same.

Excellent, walking distance to restaurants, very convenient to airport. Free cab to casino!!!
