Holiday Inn Resort - The Castle - أورلاندو

Front desk personel was ot helpful at all. I tried to get them to look up my Premier Awards number, they stated "the web site is down and you could find your card and we'll attach it to the reservation before you leave" Even after I told them my card was 8 hours away, in an empty house since my family was with me. They did nothing. On the day of the checkout, I mentioned the same thing to a different clerk, and he stated the website was down without checking. I asked if there was a 800 number we could call, he found a brochure and handed it to me to call myself (there was no other customers at the front desk). Then he walked back in the back. I did call the 800 number to get them to attach the points to my account, but they told me it was too late. Hotel is clean, at a good location, quiet. Front door was busted by somebody the day before I got there, had a wood board up. Also, while I was coming in one night, 2 police vehicles pulled in, apparently one of the guests was drunk and was causing distress to others, so police had to remove him.

Both my spouse and I stayed for 2 nights and we thought it was mediocre. The hotel is centrally located. You are very close to everything. The beds were comfy, but there were times that you can hear alot of traffic in the hall, doors slamming. The room got a little warm. We adjusted the thermostat to 60, but it felt like 80. Not enough amenities - so I'm a little confused of how it's classified as a resort. When we checked in, the entrance to the door was replaced with a LARGE piece of wood, which did not give an attractive appearance from the outside, so we're not sure what happened there??? The inside was pretty though,we liked the castle theme decor. Overall, good for the price we paid and the beds are GREAT, but we didn't feel this was a romantic getaway.

The hotel is situated at a great location - 4 minutes from Universal parks. The hotel is nice. The water in the room wasn't hot so I had to fight with the manager about changing the room to another one. the breakfast buffet is poor and they are ready to give one drink per each guest. The rooms are very nice ..

No Fridge or Microwave.

it was overall the best hotel......front desk very nice and helpful....pool was very nice...bar was great just overall a very nice hotel.

Good hotel for the price. Alert adults, pool is a tad small and shallow, geared towards kids. But Pretty hotel, good restaurant, clean. If you're are getting a deal on the room, book it. Next door is Boston lobster feast, yumm.

The hotel was just so amazing, my granddaughter was so excited to stay at the castle. We were in town for a swim meet and she really enjoyed her stay.

Great hotel, great helpful staff and great location! Enjoyed our visit to the city, Global Pet Show and the 15 minute ride to Disney Parks. Gotta try the Cafe Tu Tu Tango behind the hotel for lunch - it was a wonderful lunch and experience. We will definately be back!

This hotel was a great stay! Great location, clean, spacious rooms,wonderful! The one thing I will complain about is them not having a refrigerator in the room nor do they have a microwave anywhere in the hotel to warm up food. This caused us to have to throw away food we had left over from the wonderful surrounding restaurants. Other than that , the hotel was an A+. Great parking (free) and the Breakfust buffet was superb!

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone unless they can get it for under $100 and they need a room for a convention and everything is booked. The hotel is older, the only bar is outside by the pool which is nothing special....and there are 10 people smoking at the bar. The restaraunt is not great and they charge for breakfast... Most Holiday Inns give a free continential... not this one. The door to the hotel was gone and replaced by a plastic sheet. The room was old and in need of renovation. If you take your family there, they will have a miserable time!

The Castle was a very clean, nice and comfortable hotel to stay. The room was exactly like in the pictures here and there was a certain feel of actually staying in a real Castle. Definitely recommended hotel! I just wish we would have had more time to enjoy the hotel, but the theme parks and other attractions took all our time in Orlando.

Very surprise, the second day I stay there hotel had some kind of conference and there was not parking to park my car. I talk to the person at the front desk and they offer to move their own car to free up parking space to park my car.

I stayed in this hotel when it was a Double Tree property and now it is a Holiday Inn property. It was better when it was a Double Tree. The most frustrating thing is you have to use a key to get to your floor, so don't stay there if you want to be able to get to anyone else in your group. It is fine for a short stay for a few people in 1 room. No refrigerators, no free breakfast, difficult logisics. Ice machines broken on our floor and you cannot get to a different floor. Pretty good rate.

This hotel was not only excellent with all my reviews , you can walk to many great restaurants of any price range. The street is lovely! The parks are right there too. Great choice and surprisingly great value.

Great Hotel. Never knew it was there. Hidden behind Vito's Restaurant on International Drive. Our new favorite hotel. Truly has Castle feel. Very well kept and clean. Beautiful pool with fountain. Will definately stay there again.

Beautiful Hotel. Good Price. Nice Staff.

The Castle is located in the heart of downtown Orlando right off International Drive. There are many dining and bar options along the "strip". We spent the weekend at Universal and it is only a 5-10 min. drive down Universal Blvd. Plus, they accept dogs for a fee per stay. Breakfast in the cafe each morning was superb. We would definitely stay again!

Loved everything about it except the directions you get from google we were lost for 30 min. So make sure you call & get the correct address .

I was very impressed with the cleanliness and whimsical atmosphere of the The Castle hotel. The hotel room was large, comfy, and the castle theme extended into the room as well. Staff were very hospitable and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel to others and the close proximity to both universal and Disney was great!

I was impressed by the assistance received by its employees. Very well maintained room, comfortable and super clean beds.

They DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT have COOKIES. Someone needs to update the hotel information since it is no longer a Doubletree property and that is listed as a perk that we signed up for. We stayed 4 nights, including Christmas. The decor is an adorable castle theme but does not really make this place a 'resort' property. There was really nothing spectacular in regards to the room but it was comfortable enough for our stay. The kids loved the fountain in the pool, excercise room, and game room. The staff was great and very helpful. ALL of them. We had a toddler get extremely ill at 4am on Christmas morning and the staff was very acomodating when I requested a clean sheet and later when we needed help locating an emergency room. They were outstanding as far as customer service and we were very grateful. The location is AMAZING in regards to getting to Seaworld, dining, even a Wal-Mart or Walgreens is nearby.

Staff not overly friendly - other than that no complaints - great location, iride trolly close by, cheap and convenient, across road is a convenience store and various restaurants - ranging from budget to expensive.

mattress was comfortable, room was clean and location was great.. loved it when u leave the hotel and the birds start chirpin.. overall would stay there again

We stayed at the Castle as part of our Disney trip and it was everything the website said it would be and more. The decor was fun and so different from your typical hotel room. The staff gave our kids coloring books and told them stories of the friendly dragon guarding the door. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet. We will definitely be back!

If you're looking for a nice hotel in Orlando-The Holiday inn resort the castle is the answer for you. I stayed there for 5 days and I really enjoyed it. The hotel is located in a grea place so everything is close (food, shopping, nightlife). You have shutels from the hotel to Universal parks. the room is very big and clean. the hotel resturant is great-The only downside is that they don't have dinners there, just breakfast. But with so many resturants just outside the hotel it's really nothing. I really enjoyed from my staying there and I recomenned it to every one.

Hotel was very nice for the discount price received on hotels.com. I was worried the price was too good to be true as usually you get what you pay for, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel. It was clean, up to date and centrally located to the Orlando attractions and restaurants. The midevil theme was fitting as we were in Orlando to go to Universal Studios to see the new Harry Potter attraction. If I have to say anything negative it would be about the poor lighting in the bathroom and no exhaust fan. Would of been nice to have small fridge in room as well. Pool was supposed to be heated, but it was cold. Hot tub took the place of the pool for us. For the price could live with these things as we were only there 2 nights.

spent one night at the Castle and my wife and I were impressed with the Hotel and our room. We had lower expectations since this was a Holiday Inn hotel but it was very clean, room was spacious, staff was very helpful. Our fare included also the Breakfast which was good. We liked the fact that there were two restaurants adjacent to the Hotel which we could just walk to for dinner. Food, drinks and entertainment at Tu Tu Tango restaurant few steps from Hotel lobby was great and prices very reasonable. We would stay there again if we have an occasion.

we felt safe with needing to use the room key to access the elevator. The castle look was neat. The only thing we were dissppointed with was no refrigerator in the room.

Pleasant stay with friendly and helpful service. Only complaint was the lighting in the bathroom.

The front desk was very helpful with suggestions for food. The decor is medival themed but very tasteful. Convenient to all the great hotspots for Pointe Orlando and I-Drive.

Was very pleased to book this hotel after all the positive reviews I read. Checking in was easy with no problems and they told me that you would need to use your room key to use the elevator (I have to say that this made me feel a lot safer about my stay) The room was nice, temp was cold (which I like), smelled clean, clean bathroom with soft towels, very comfertable bed, pillows and linens. I can't wait to plan my next vacation to orlando and stay in this hotel. Felt like royalty!!!
