we're a family of four and were in Quebec for a three day getaway; the city is outstanding if you're into european architectonic style, it offers one of the most beautiful old cities in this part of the continent; and the old port is just marvelous. The hotel itself is very welcoming, even when it was under extensive renovations, we didn't feel any disturbance due to this. The amenities are extensive, but we couldn't enjoy the pool as it was kind of cold for being heated; the gym was a little small for the size of the hotel. The room was very clean, with a beautiful decoration and a nice size bath. Service was a little cold but I must say we coincided with some events so the employees were very busy. Overall, it's a nice place to stay in Quebec and it's in the old town (the upper city, beautiful) within walking distance to all local attractions.

The staff of the hotel was very courteous and helpful. Everyone was friendly and willing to assist with any type of request or information. The room was clean, bright and very comfortable. The hotel was in the very heart of Old Town Quebec which allows you to walk to all the sights and restaurants of Quebe

Friendly staff who went out of their way to more than accomodate my family during our stay. The restaurant had fantastic breakfest food on the buffet. Walking distance to everything Old Quebec has to offer.

We stayed there for 2 nights. Right in the heart of old Quebec city. Anyone who wants to experience the true Quebec city must stay there. Amazing staff. Location is worth million bucks. Beautifully decorated. Kids loved the pool. Over all I would give 10/10 !

Friendly staff, great spa- I recommend the hot stone massage! Pool could be a little warmer.. But we were upgraded to executive suite for no charge it was fabulous! Will stay again :)

Very friendly staff. Very large rooms. Very clean and modern.

Unfortunately they are going through renovations so the lobby is unusable. The breakfast buffet was a letdown.

Great location! Friendly staff! Beautiful hotel! Couldn't have asked for more! We never go to the same place more than once, but already planning to return in the Spring!

The hotel was pleasant and had some nice ammentities. Everyone who worked there was very nice and provided great service. The location was perfect, lots of local attractions within walking distance. However, I booked a room that was called the Grand Luxury room and there was nothing grand or luxurious about it besides the price. The room was neat and clean, but was rather generic looking. More Holiday Inn than I was expecting for the price I paid.

The quaint setting of the Hotel Manor Victoria was like being in France. It is steps aways from all the shops/restaurants and they couldn't be nicer. In fact, we left my daughters ski pants and they Fedex it to our next hotel and we got it the next day. I would bring my family back next year.

Amazing

The hotel is well located. However, upon arrival, the reception area smelled like cabbage soup and dirty carpet. The spa is an ackward concept compared to other spas... no other clients then us, cordial but minimal service. The staircase to reception is also a bummer.

I was only there for an overnight stay, so I can't comment on everything, but the service I received was excellent: both highly professional and very friendly. I would certainly stay there again, and would recommend it to anyone who asks.

This hotel was exactly as outlined in on the website. It was an up market hotel, but much cheaper than others within the wall of Quebec City and easy walking distance to everything we wished to see. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the bistro and local hotel adjoined to the hotel both served great food.

Stayed at the Hotel Manoir Victoria for 2 nights for a romantic getaway. Service staff was very helpful and very friendly. Location was perfect - shops, restaurants, old city landmarks all within a short walk. My only concern was the thumping and bumping I heard through the ceiling of our room. It sounded like it might have been from old piping or from the mechanics of the elevator (although the elevator wasn't really that close by). The front desk offered to check the room above and offered to relocate us if the noise continued to bother us. We decided to stay in the room - we were already settled in, only spent time in the room in the evening, and the noise wasn't overpowering , just consistent. Just an FYI to consider. I believe the room number was 212.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found the staff very helpful, the room was very large and no matter what time we left our room for the first time of the day, it was clean when we returned. There were ample towels and toiletries. We were able to walk to almost anything we wanted to see. The hotel is surrounded by great little restaurants and we found the hotel pub very friendly and accomodating. We stayed at another hotel attached to the convention centre for the last few days of our trip and found the service and friendliness of staff did not compare to the Manoir Victoria. The next time we travel to QC we will return to the Manoir Victoria.

Not at all impressed with the manager the day that we arrived. We were assigned a standard room when we had been told initially upon booking that we were assigned a suite. The lady upgraded us to a standard room with a fireplace but no bigger and we had 2 small kids which hindered our vacation since there was not much space for them. Had we known we were going to get a standard room we would not have stayed at that hotel. The manager did not care about hearing our story and even whenered to pay more money. The hotel is very dated, our room was dark with 2 small windows and not great lighting. The carpets and wallpaper were old and the carpets were not the cleanest. Overall I would not stay at this hotel again even though the location was in the heart of the old city and close to many attractions.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. I was very happy with the location since it was right in the heart of old quebec. Very nice hotel and most importantly, it was clean. I check cleanliness based on the bedding & the bathroom... I very rarely lay on top of the bedding, but i can say the bedding was clean & very much to my satisfaction. The only drawback is that you have to use valet parking as there is no self park. However, valet staff are very friendly and accommodating. Overall, this hotel is a great place to stay & would definitely go back. You can't go wrong.

Location was fantastic and the front staff and porters very helpful. The only issue was the attitude of the life guard in the pool area it was very negative and not helpfull.

We stayed here on two separate occasions during the same trip, once for two nights, then again for a single night -- different rooms. I would definitely recommend it. It's a great location for exploring Quebec's old town, plenty of good restaurants and cafes just around the corner. The staff was courteous and helpful, the rooms were comfortable and clean. The pool was nice too, if a little small, with a spa next door, in case you're into that sort of thing.

We loved the location of this hotel but there were a couple of real downsides. First, there is no elevator to get you to the main lobby, you have a large flight of stairs. They will carry your luggage up but, sometimes I like to do for myself and here I could not. Also, beware of the support beams in your rooms. I booked a deluxe room so we would have bit more square footage. When we walked into the room there was a large support beam dead in the middle of the room between the two beds. We immeadiately asked for another room and was given something on the first floor. While the street view was ok with us, the pole in the room, now closer to the wall in from on one of the beds, was still not. We could not change rooms again. All in all, the location kinda made up for the pole, but not enough for me to want to stay again.

Had a great stay at Manoir Victoria. Couldn't ask for a better location as far as proximity to attractions. Only complaint is there a few panhandlers hanging around the hotel. They are not causing any trouble, just asking for money all the time. Hotel was very clean and the front desk staff were very polite and helpfull. We would definitely stay there again.

A very nice hotel, fantastic service and an amazing location. Quebec city is a must see destination.

A very nice and character hotel in the down town of the Old Quebec city. Mins walking to many of the sites that you will want to see with lots of choice for eating out. The kids loved the pool, and a free shuttle service to the Aquarium was available. I would stay there again.

Great location in the old part of Quebec, close to the train station and bus depot , just be prepared for the uphill walk to the hotel. Lovely friendly staff, clean rooms and shower pressure is decent.

Excellent hotel - Charming and elegant - close to all amenities - service was wonderful - Just an excellent place to stay while in Old Quebec. Highly recommended!
