Traders Hotel, Singapore - سنغافورة

I have never had a worse stay in Singapore, where in general, the quality of hotels are excellent!

It is a bit of off Orchard but more quiet, relaxing N no hustle atmosphere which makes me just relax. Yet still walking distance to all Orchard Area n great acess to Dempsy or Holland too. Next door is Ztanglib Mall where u can eat and shop (supermarket n food court is B2F). Very cozy n handy. After so many years since opened, Traders has been continuously upgrading n do maintenance well enough so that I never feel old.

FIRST CLASS SERVICE. CANNOT FAULT

When I saw that there was a deal on the famous Traders Hotel, I jumped to take it and maybe because my expectations were so high, they were not fulfilled... It's getting on a bit in years and should be refurbished, sooner rather than later. Everything is good enough but not exceptional... The location is good, just a few minutes walk to Orchard Road and the hotel service is good too.

My 7-day stay was excellent. The staff was accomodating and courteous. I will definitely book with the hotel whenever I travel to Singapore.

The price is high but the location is not ideal. I use it as I love the gym and the saunas. The gym is well stocked, but could be bigger with more weights and machines. Waiting for the shuttle to return to the hotel is not fun as it is hot and humid standing near the exits of shopping centers. But appreciate the service. The bed I slept in was not comfortable, hurts my back, think the spring is weak?.

We were on our last leg of a two week holiday in Singapore. This hotel was a dissappointment as the room was very small, old fittings, cramped toilets. I couldn't beleive it was a Shangri-la hotel. Will not stay here again.

Excellent service from all staff, very efficient. Comfotable room, very good breakfast. Whilst out of the city area, hotel is close to Orchard Road. Hotel Shuttle bus provided to local MRT (Orchard) made getting around and into Singapore city very easy.

Nice hotel. Good location to several places that are walking distance. Free parking, free internet which is nice. Place was very quiet, little to no noise from the nearby streets.

Very small rooms, Not giving me what i booked [ i.e. Kingsize bed, instead two single beds.] . Hard too get taxi's and far from public transport which is unusual for Singapore.

We had to change room because the a/c wasn't cold at all. The non-smoking club floor smells like a smoking floor; even a smoking floor smells more pleasant. Although, there is a plus side which is the lounge: good food, good service.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights over the weekend on a business trip, and the stay was great. The hotel has all the facilities and the rooms are nice. In the other hand, the price was relatively good. Take it as a serious option if you need to stay in Singapore.

The hotel I usually use in Singapore was fully booked, so I decided to try the Traders. The facilities of the hotel are overall excellent and I found the restaurant food good, but a couple of little things irritated me - reception most of the time only had two staff working on it and on two of the three times I visited it, I was waiting 10-15 minutes for attention - I had confirmed a booking for a room with king bed, but when I arrived was told that they had none available so would give me a twin room instead. In times of high heat and humidity, I prefer locations where the hotel adjoins a shopping mall, particularly if you have a late night flight out of the city and are killing time between check-out and departure

Despite a good location nearby Orchard road the hotel is very average. The rooms are small and quite old In addition, their branding is quite confusing as they highlight their relationship with Shangrila... there is no comparaison to be done ...

We only stayed one night but were very disappointed to find two workmen dismantling the airconditioning in our room when we returned after breakfast. With no reason for them to be there and no notice given to us we felt that our privacy had been violated. Our immediate complaint to the management only raised a rather weak apology. Otherwise a good 4 star hotel.

Smallest bathroom we've ever had in any hotel. The room was just fine - the carpet in the main areas was spotted and dirty but the rest seemed clean. Overpriced.

Close (accually conected to a shopping mall). Can set up tour at the front desk. FREE shuttle to another shopping center. Nice pool.

The service was excellent. The only snag with the hotel was the buffet which must have specialised in fish - this made the foyer a bit smelly! But the ooms were comfortable and although a bit small we felt pampered and comfortable. The hotel itself was attractive and we loved the spa and the fact that you could leave your bags and come back and freshen up later. SNM

Overall nice hotel, early check-in to handle early overseas flights. Not a bad hotel to stay at with kids, provided they have their own room. Rooms are outdated, cramped and musty. Due to early check-in and many families staying at the hotel our request to have close or connecting rooms was unfilled. So, we had to pay to upgrade to the Traders floor. The 14th floor of the hotel had a dehumidifier going in the middle of the hallway and both our rooms were very musty smell. Pool and fitness center were very nice areas, located on 4th floor, and very well maintained. Overall, Traders is a nice hotel, worth the money. Just needs to updated to 2010 standards.

1. The breakfast provided by the hotel is very good. 2. he medium size mall adjacent to the hotel is great. 3. Staff are very courteous 4. Room cleaning was prompt and efficient. However. the hotel is not exactly at the best of location for the following reasons :- 1. MRT station is not near enough. The nearest is at Orchard Road and the hotel shuttle bus is not available throughout. Perhaps, it would be great if the shuttle bus could be availble throughout the day by just shuffling between the hotel and end of Cuscadian road, near the hard rock. 2. The bustling Orchard road is not too near either though the beginning of Orchard Road is acceptable.

Hotel has good location, next door to the quiet Tanglin Mall, but a short 10 minute walk to Orchard Road's mayhem. Staff very friendly, answered my questions and allowed early check-in because a room was available. Room was small, but nice. Would stay there again.

Stayed in the Executive Club Room, utilised the Club Room Facilities. Could not fault the staff at all, morning or evening staff were always friendly, helpful and smiling. Rooms,hallways and carpets need refurbishment as looking tired. Pool area excellent with enough shade from too much sun. Hotel is handy to a supermarket and shops and approx 10-15min walk to Orchard MRT. Would stay again

Room was very nice and clean. We had chosen King bedroom at the time of the reservation but first, they gave us twin bedroom. We have asked the front personnel to change our room and they were very helpful and prompt with our request. I was traveling with my mother in law who was 55+ and initially we had planned to walk to the nearest MRT station(ORCHARD) everytime we wanted to go to the different area in the city, but soon we founded out that it was very difficult for her to walk from the hotel to the station. (Walk itself is about 15-20 minutes) This hotel is very nice for those of you who plan to use bus(There was one bus stop near the hotel) or taxi.

The room is clean and tidy. The staffs are freindly and helpful. The swimming pool is just OK and not our expection. The location is a liitle bit far away from the MRT and the shopping area.

A good stay at the Traders Singapore. Surprising good for a 4 star hotel. The general common problem with hotels in Singapore is that they are very old. Refurbishment is expected. The guest room is comfy, clean and tidy but a bit small. In particular I love the cleanliness of the washroom and the comfort of the bed. Amenities are better than expected. Swimming pool and fitness center are large. I suggest you book a room with complimentary buffet breakfast as their breakfast is expensive (SG$34+). Location wise is okay, you can easily get to the Orchard but a 15 minute walk to the nearest MRT station is expected.

Room pleasant but small, hotel services good, F and B staff not well trained.

every thing is good except I met a big crokroach in toilet. This should not be happened in such hotel.

Traders hotel was everthing we expected, the staff were very helpful and courteous. The only aspect of the Hotel we were not happy with was the price of food an beverages.

Rooms are way too small and outdated. Even the upgraded "larger" rooms are not much better. Bathroom is tiny, rooms are tiny. Air condition also makes noise. However, the rate was pretty cheap.

This hotel was great, especially for the price! The staff was incredibly helpful and always brought up things we requested, such as wine glasses and plates for our own snacks, and were eager to point out places to go. We really enjoyed the pool, the buffet was awesome, and we enjoyed the convenience of being attached to the Tanglin Mall and walking distance to Orchard Road. The rooms were a bit small, but for the price we paid, it was great!

Great hotel and location for the money. Rooms are a bit on the small side but very comfortable. Service is excellent. You really could not ask for anything more at this price point.

traders hotel in singapore is an excellent hotel in an excellent postion do upgrade to club rooms as the service is second to none and the staff are efficient this was our first stay at traders but we are regulares at shangri la and this was equal to any we have stayed in before

When we arrived late coming from Austraila we decided to have a snack in the hotel. The food and the service was 1st.class although expensive.(Tax + Service charge)bumped the price up considerably.The room was very comfortable maybe a tad small but just the job for us. I found the hotel well situated and connected to the Tangalin Mall which was excellent with lots of different food outlets and excellent prices.

Location is good, easy walk to Orchard Road, MRT, other areas. Room is small but acceptable. Noise level is reasonable. AC is marginal. The hotel is connected to the Tanglin Mall by a walkway - within the Tanglin Mall is any number of restaurants, eateries and supermarket - this info is not offered by the hotel staff - very important info as the hotel restaurants are not good and are expensive. Room itself is acceptable; amenities are standard. Service in general is acceptable as long as nothing unusual occurs, but if it does, the staff are unable to cause action unless a complaint is made, then they do what should have been done. Overall, this is not a true 4 star, should be downgraded to a 3 star. Overpriced.

クラブラウンジを使える料金で泊まりました。他の方がレビューに書かれているように、朝食は17階のラウンジでも1階のレストランでも食べられます。また、羽田発着のANA便でしたので、到着が9時ごろとかなり早かったのですが、すぐにチェックインさせてくれましたし、チェックアウト後もクラブラウンジを使えました。 ただ、夕方の軽食時間帯は座席が混みすぎていて、ちょっと遅い時間に行くと座れませんでした。それが残念だったかな。
