Days Inn Salinas - ساليناس

Attending sea otter bicycle classic at laguna sec raceway, so it was a covienent inexpensive overnight. Hum from the mini refrig was a little annoying but we were so exhausted it didn't bother our sleep. Could be difficult for a light sleeper. Jack in trhe Box across street was a pleasant convienent surprise. Great on on/off from rte. 101.

The staff was nice and the room very clean. The Denny's next door, was very good. Not much to do in the area but great place for a stop-over being just off the highway. As a woman traveling alone I felt very safe here. That's important for me.

Hotel staff were very courteous about our showing up at 1 a.m. to check in. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable, and the hotel is very conveniently located off the highway. It's near a Denny's and Jack in the Box, so hardly a happening spot, but a short drive from the John Steinbeck Center and with easy on/off highway access

Floor was filthy. Light switches did not work properly. Coffer maker pot did not fit properly. Noisy. A/C enourmously loud. A complete dump.

I arrived a 2 am they waited for me booked me in 5 mins. I could not have been happier. The next day breakfast was served early as I had to depart early. Very pleasant staff. I would stay here again.

Nothing to write home about. It was OK to stay just one night.

Situated in area which would appear to be sought after, this offered the best deal in town. Having said that, it represented the poorest value in a three week trip across Northern Cal and Nevada. .Access to a main highway is good , but the intersection layout had been changed a year before, and my satellite-navigator (a 1962 model) lost the plot.. Still, we enjoyed the visit!

Stayed in Salinas for the ALMS race at Laguna Seca. Hotel only 10 miles from track. Food locations across street from hotel. Cont breakfast a little weak but there is a Denny's 100 yards from hotel. Good hotel for the price. Will stay there again for the next race.

Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. No frills. It was a good value for the price. The breakfast menu looked a bit sparse but we left too early each day to check it out. A minor inconvenience was a light switch that did not work. I would use this motel again if we need to stay in Salinas.

Seemed like a nice enough budget hotel until I grabbed an individual box of cereal and coffee to eat in the car in the morning and the manager stopped me and scolded me. She told me i had to eat it in the lobby of the hotel, which is tiny. I wasnt robbing the place, i was taking a 1.25 oz box of cereal (not even a full serving) and a cup of coffee. It was slightly humiliating, no need to treat your guests like criminals. I was checked in for 5 consecutive nights, after being there for 4 consecutive nights the week before. I would consider myself a valuable customer, so if you are there for one night only beware of how she will treat you.

I needed an inexpensive place in Salinas for one night and found this spot. The owners were nice, the room was clean and there was a decent continental breakfast. It's not the best location, but is a good deal for the price.

No frills- but perfect for the traveler that just wants to sleep for the night and continue on- breakfast was good, nothing fancy; personnel was friendly- easy on and off access to 101. Road was under construction but that can't be helped- not the motel's fault.

Great clean comfortable room. Decent continental breakfast for the space she has to work with. Very friendly staff.

This is an older and smaller property. If you are looking for an inexpensive location within an easy drive of the Monterrey (Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca) area, this is a great place. In an industrial part of town, so at night it was very quite as the businesses were closed. Only places to eat close by were a Denny's and Jack in the Box. The AC in the room they gave us was broken, but they took care of us and moved us to another room when we got back from dinner. If I was going to another event at the track I would stay here again.

An okay stay until it was time for bed--the sheets were stained, it looked disgusting. On the up side, breakfast is served until 10:00 which is nice for those of us who like to sleep in a bit.

Just needed a place to put our heads for the night on a drive from LA to Stanford - not doing it in one day. Saw Salinas on the map, close enough to make a 9am information/tour at Stanford - small, bathroom is just better than a good public restroom. But hey, the price was right and there was excellent coffee and grab 'n' go bfast for us.

We were looking for an inexpensive motel during a cross country move. Unfortunately, the Monterey Bay can be expensive and many of the in-town hotels would not have had parking for our large moving truck. This motel was affordable and safe. I expected a bit of a seedy road motel, but was instead surprised that the room was clean, moderately updated, and had great pillows. Rooms also included a microwave and fridge. Yes, there was a bit of a steady hum from the nearby highway, but that should be expected since it was just off the exit ramp. This is a fine place if all you want is a cheap motel but also want safety and cleanliness.

room was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast bar. Like the option of a Jack n a box across the street. Easy access from the freeway. Quiet location.

Okay for a place to crash while attending the moto GP , price was way to high for a basic room. Didn't have trouble with road noise as I stayed on the first floor and left the fan running. Jack in the Box and Denny's right across the streetis handy as there is nothing else close by.

Low budget hotel but very clean. Ample breakfast items. Microwave and refrigerator in room.

na een aantal vervallen en muffe motels eindelijk weer een schoon en fris hotel, met goede service. via deze service ook veel goedkoper dan zelf direct boeken.

Hier kann man nur schlafen, wenn man total fertig ist. Der Lärm der 50m entfernten Schnellstraße war unerträglich (schlechter Fahrbahnbelag, dünne Fenster).
