Travelodge Victoria - فيكتوريا

It's a very second-rate motel in a quiet but central location. They have a sports bar with loud activities every night on the same floor as (our) guest rooms. Smoke, noise and lost drunks means we would NEVER stay there again.

PROS - Great service, the front desk was very helpful. Room was better than expected from exterior appearance, direct bus route to downtown at front of hotel and taxi rates were only about twice the rate of the bus.CONS - the cafe food was very poor and the only blemish on an otherwise decent establishment. A 3.5 / 5 overall

As always, it was very pleasant. The staff was very polite and took special interest in what I needed.

Staff were friendly. Hotel ~ 20 min walk from Save on Food Memorial arena. (found free parking in surrounding streets - bonus) Beds comfortable. Food in pub was reasonably priced and good. I would stay there again if attending anothe concert at same location.

Very helpful staff and loved the proximity of the Galloping Goose Trail

We checked in and the man came out of the office with food all over his face. It has been a week and i am still waiting for my 200 security deposit back. With a family the put us two doors away from the pub durring super bowl long weekend. Durring the night the front dest called twice with the wrong room number. The girls that clean the room were fantastic, fast good and exteremly friendly. I might stay there again as a single never again with my family. we were more tired after leaving from our vacation then before we got there.

While in Victoria, I was at a convention and just needed a place to sleep. The hotel served that task marvelously. I was not bothered by noise, and the beds were clean and comfortable. I would have paid a visit to the nearby ocean-side park, but never got the chance. This was my second visit there. While not amazing, the Travelodge is affordable and comfortable.

The Travel Lodge of Victoria is a good place to stay. The hotel from the outside looks fine. The rooms are entered from the outside instead of a central hall way. If you do not required an adjoining room make sure you request that you do not get one. The adjoining door provides little sound insulation. The rooms have been updated. Beds and linens were new. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker and room-safe nice. We were in Victoria during a snow storm so it was cold and windy outside. The room was cool the HVAC unit was not really a heater, But the comforter on the bed was nice and warm. Would stay again.

We have stayed here twice and plan to make this our go to hotel every time we take the family to Victoria. The hotel is easy to find and is a short drive to all the downtown attractions. The suites are HUGE with both a bedroom and two hide a bed couches in the living room area. The suites also have a kitchen which saved a bundle on eating out. The staff is friendly and helpful. They also have a pool, weight room and nice changing area. The pub is on sight and a great place to grab a pint and still be close to our tween kids. Highly recommended esp for the price.

Older motel, very clean, convenient location, very helpful staff. In all very satisfied with the service, room and location. For the price a great buy... rick lawton

We were very satified with our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Pleased to be on the ground floor, the hike up to the third would have been a bit much. Quiet area. Reception very pleasent and helpful. Great central location for our needs. Would certainly stay with them again.

10min from town with a very convenient bus. Decent hotel for the price. Good breakfast but no dinner available on site.

Was hesitant after reading a couple of reviews but turned out to be great value for the money and certainly nothing to complain about. Extended our stay twice.

Great rooms for price. Was clean and updated. Pool was fun for our kids had a new flat screen tv and a kitchen for cooking so if on a budget is well worth it! Close to downtown too.

Not impressed with the type of clientele that is occupying your establishment. Was staying @ your hotel with my 15 yr old neice and was afraid that my car would be broken into. and or the hotel room. Get rid of the crack heads and all night partiers!! NOT IMPRESSED!

The hotel is older. however location quiet. Rooms are clean but the bathrooms have a little mould. Beds are comfortable. onsite hotel is OkKand reasonaqble.

As indicated above, we were quite happy with this accomodation and the service - front-desk staff were very obliging and helpful. For the price we paid, we have no complaints. As seniors, an elevator would be an asset, but stairs are good exercise!

Was very pleased with this hotel which was very convenient to our needs in Victoria. Used the free shuttle bus most mornings and returned by public transport which ran every 20 mins and bus stop right outside the hotel. Staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpfull. would recomend trying to get a room at the back which looks over thegorge trail and downtown Victoria. Can see the Parliament building lit up at night ! Would use it again.

Service people are super friendly, help us out in extra way. Hotel is not in the center of the downtown, but close enough. Hotel surrounding neighborhood is very safe, people walk around at night. We enjoyed this hotel very much.

This hotel is only about 7 minutes from downtown Victoria and has access (1 block) to the Galloping Goose Trail. Good for walking and biking. Blackberries everywhere. It was quiet, had a fridge, comfy beds and a karaoke bar. What more could you ask for.

Not particularly close to anything. Rooms smelled musty. Older rooms that need updating. Staff was very pleasant. It is near impossible to find affordable accommodation in Victoria.

value for money. If you are looking for a good clean hotel outisde the city center (approx. 5 min drive) at an attractive rate, then I can only recommend this hotel. we stayed for 2 nights and was very satisfied.

We enjoyed our stay! It was very close to everything around Victoria and it was a comfortable stay. The only thing that could have been better was the people above us were always moving around chairs and it was kind of noisy. Other than that a wonderful stay!

We booked the travelodge because it seemed like a more economical choice for us, and were happily surprised witht he result. The hotel was very clean and well decorated, and situated in a nice part of Victoria. It wasn't located in the downtown area which really was the only way our stay could have been better, but it was in a very nice neighborhood, located very close to the galloping goose trail providing a nice walk along the water and into downtown. Definitely a great deal for the price, location and comfort.

Room was small but updated and very clean. No polyester bedspreads! Close to inner harbour and right on Galloping Goose trail. Don't bother with the restaurant for breakfast. Prices were cheap but service was awful.

Overall, the whole family enjoyed our stay in the hotel, though it was only for 2 nights. Our grown up children enjoyed the karaoke lounge. The front desk personnel were very, very helpful, although not manned enough sometimes that we have to wait for our turn to be served. The rooms are very clean and well equipped. One suite we rented has all the appliances/furnitures we need to have a good meal together. We will surely stay in the same hotel, in case we need to go back to Victoria.

Good service overall but the building is in real need of repair. Too expensive for the shabby building.

We liked the junior suite-the kitchen had everything we needed. Room was very quiet, clean, and being on the top floor was great, although without an elevator it is a climb with luggage. Convenient walking to stores; beautiful walk to downtown Victoria as well. This hotel exceeded our expectations!!

Loved the laundry and access to a computer in the lobby

Overall nice place but for the price, it would be nice if it includes complimentary breakfast.

Decent but old-fashioned motel. Small rooms and bit noisy but clean and has pool, etc.

Very nice place to stay, abit far from downtown. Pool was not bad.

The hotel is located right by the water and a small park wher one can have a picnic. The sauna and the swimming pool are well maintained.

We had a great stay there. Having a refrigerator and microwave was great when traveling with kids. The kids enjoyed the pool and it was nice to have a shower/changing room near the pool stocked with shampoo and soap. The rooms were very clean. I highly recommend staying here if you have children.

The first night my bed had dirty sheets and the in-room ice box was filthy. The tub drains very slowly and tends to fill up while taking a shower. I was not overly impressed but that I guess that's what you get for a cheap hotel room.
