Radisson Blu Hotel, Amsterdam - أمستردام

Hotel is very clean, modern and within easy walking distance to rail stations and all major attractions. Customer service within the restaurant was very slow and my room was not serviced until 5pm each day. Concierge was very helpful.

Ideal hotel location for all central sights of Amsterdam. Quiet side street only 3 minutes walk from Dam Square. Excellent choice and quality of food at breakfast.

Excellent hotel but beware parking costs at 5o euros per night - the going rate in Amsterdam but not acceptable in an expensive hotel

This is a great hotel, if you get a good deal. Quiet considering it's 5 mins from the Red Light/Dam Square, in a side road. Lovely staff. Late breakfast, handy for a lie in, and a wide variety of nice grub! Would go again at the drop of a hat. GREAT!!!!

We enjoyed our stay except for the fact that we did not know we had to reserve parking. Upon arrival with 2 small children and an infant we were told there was no parking available and we would have.to park in the city lot 5 blocks away. Would have been nice to know beforehand. The buffet was included with our room and it was beautiful. Service was wonderful at the hotel. We stayed for one night after visiting the tulip festival.

The Radisson Blu in Amsterdam is in a perfect location and walking distance to all sights. The hotel staff was accomodating, the room was big for a European city hotel and had room for the extra bed. I would certainley recommend this hotel and would definitely go back!

Nothing particularly special, but the hotel was a good, quality stay in the center of the city. I will stay here again when the opportunity arises.

Walkable distance to most things in Amsterdam. Nice hotel, with a good atmosphere and satisfying breakfast.

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is within walking distance of the Dam etc but is located on a quiet street. Everything a Radisson should be with one exception. No ATM machine in the hotel. I travel worldwide and regularly stay at Radisson hotels, and found it a little inconvenient to have to walk to the Dam (10mins in very cold weather) to access an ATM. Other than that a good hotel.

Amazing hotel, offering great service and quality. Breakfast is a winner, and the room (business room) was very cool. Extra points for Nespresso machine in the room

We paid the extra for business class room and canal view. With over 200 rooms there are only 7 canal view rooms so be sure they are available, although the non-canal view rooms are equally elegant. Top quality service and excellent location even though close to the red light area this does not impact the surroundings. Nothing too much trouble, happy helpful staff and facilities - only one tread mill in the exercise room would be my only critisism of what apart from this was a perfect stay.

everything about this hotel was good, but make sure you ask for the new section. the staff were amazing and our room big and modern. still cant understand that if a fee is mandatory why it isn't included in the taxes section. a city tax was charged at the end of our stay, didn't break the bank but frustrating none the less.

All good Concierge misled us on cost of parking and was unable to help with show booking

Everything was excellent, would stay at same hotel in future. Highly recommended! Location is fabulous, walking distance to everything.

Very well maintained, clean, friendly n polite staff who offer brilliant service. But the only down fall is they don't mention the security deposit they want upon on checking in. It's only €100. U can pay card or cash. It's better to pay by cash because with card it take 3days for them to put the money back but where's with cash they give it back there n there.. But apart from the 1 little problem some one might have it is an excellent hotel. Would defo recommend it..

Nice Hotel. Price corresponds to quality of services. Not far from the center, but do not interfere with the crowds of tourists wandering around. :-)

This was my first trip to Amsterdam, and this was a great choice for a hotel. The staff were VERY helpful. The woman who checked me in was very nice and helpful. I needed to go to a pharmacy to get cough medicine and she gave me PERFECT directions and a map, I never have gotten such great directions from anyone at a hotel before, I was truely impressed! The room i stayed in was newly remodeled, it was very nice, the bathroom even had heated floor! :) The only thing I didnt like about the room was the door was hard to open and close, but other than that it was wonderful! I love the pillow service, I ordered pillow number 3, I think there are 5 to choose from, I felt pampered and they brought it up riht away. In fact, anything i needed and called for, even room service, was fast! I will definitely stay here again, beautiful hotel, breakfast buffet was big and had a variety of things to choose from, I didnt use the fitness center, but I checked it out and it was nice and had many machines to choose from. My boyfriend loved the sauna, he said it was just what he needed :)

Radission Blu in Amsterdam is deceptive when you first drive up because it looks like a small boutique hotel but when you enter the massive central atrium you realize that the hotel comprises the facades of several historic buildings in Amsterdam. It is a beautiful, modern hotel with very comfortable rooms. It is on a quiet side street yet close to many attractions like Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum and the Royal Palace.

Great location and very good service. Close to city centre. Rooms were very clean, but furniture maybe getting a little dated and scratched. Otherwise great hotel.

A high quality hotel situated in the hart of the city, 5 minutes walk from Dam square, yet in calm surroundings. Rooms are modern and well equipped and very comfortable.

This hotel was a good place to stay, central to all the sites in Amsterdam, the staff were lovely and helped with all our questions, a good place to stay

Stayed at the Radisson Blu hotel in Amsterdam for just over three days. The hotel reception was extremely friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in was very nice and clean. The room was located at the front of the hotel. However I would say that there was a 'big must' with sorting out the plugs in the room. The Manager seemed to be knocking on the doors of the rooms and we told him about the situation. He gave us extension lead, which helped. The plug connections on the desk seemed like fake connections and didn't work. There was only one plug connection on the wall (which we could find). The bathroom was clean, but the grey marble was a little old fashioned and could do with being updated. There was also a nasty, unnecessary step into the bathroom, which I seemed to keep tripping up. The breakfast, which was on the tariff I picked was excellent. A lot of hot/cold combinations and lots to choose from. Overall I would recommend the hotel, as it is very close to the sights. It doesn't at all feel like you are close to the 'red light' district. It was quiet, but you could venture out if you fancied going out to the bars etc. The bars in the 'red light' district are very expensive and would just go slightly away to get cheaper beers. The breakfast also made it worth staying at the hotel.

I have mixed feelings on this hotel and am unsure if I would stay here again. Pros -- Great location. It is a few blocks from the craziness of the red light district but tucked away in a quaint, quiet area. We were able to walk to every major location with no problem. The food in the hotel restaurant was fantastic and the wine selection was great. WiFi in the room was free. Cons -- The beds were so uncomfortable and the bedding was so cheap it was difficult to sleep. After 4 nights I was exhausted and ready to go to another hotel. There is a small piece of wood raised up around 4 inches leading into the bathroom in every room in the hotel. It is hard to notice so we continued to bang our toe on it which was really frustrating not to mention painful. The concierge was hit and miss. One would give us terrible recommendations, another didn't know basic answers like how to get tickets to museums or where things were located and then a third was fantastic. It was so close to the red light district we had to walk through insanity most nights to get back to our room. While I enjoyed the location I couldn't help but walk past hotels like Hotel Pulitzer and think I would much rather be in that location.

Wife myself MIL and son arrived at airport from UK, confusion over hotel shuttles, if 3 or 4 people possibly taxi better option. Arrived hotel reception very good. Room King size bed excellent, spotlessly clean. Beverages including tea good , powdered milk H'mmm. Hotel located 4/5 mins walk from Dam square, so very central. easy access to cafes and restaurants. Concierge for all info. and museum tickets etc. v. good. So would certainly recommend and return to this Hotel .One thing when I booked I forgot to ask for a bath, sent Email to Hotels.com to ask if bath included, and they contacted me immedeately to confirm room had bath, well pleased. Be aware city tax of 5% charged at hotel over and above price quoted.

Good location. Great breakfast but does not come with room and very expensive. At check in they try to get you to upgrade did not appreciate.

I like this hotel.it has friendly staff and lots of hot water and it's near to everything-my attraction is music.The restaurant is very good with attentive staff.I've booked again for May what more can I say?

Good location if you don't mind walking 1 or 2 km to museums or main train station. In a quiet neighborhood. One street away from another street with many restaurants of low-mid price. Also one block from edge of Red Light District but quite safe. Few hundred meters from some plazas with slightly pricier restaurants. Staff were excellent. Room was small for the price but acceptable for one person (as I was travelling alone). I would recommend taking Connexions (about 10 euro) or similar shuttle from airport rather than attempting to pull luggage from main train station or taking an overpriced taxi.

From the airport we found the hotal easily by using the effiecient Hotal shuttle service. Not cheap but saves the hassle. Hotel itself friendly, clean and central. Did not howver eat there as good variety of local venues nearby. Be prepeared for lots of walking as this is the best way to see the city. Most enjoyable time and would recommend as a great weekend trip.

This is a good hotel in a great location. It is situated on a quiet street but in a central location within easy walking distance of the museums, shops and canals that, for me, comprise the essential Amsterdam experience. Our room was slightly smaller than a typical N. American hotel room but it included some smart design features that made it very comfortable and practical. The concierge was extremely helpful with directions, restaurant bookings, etc. I had read in a review that the hotel restaurant and bar were quite expensive. This proved to be true and there is no real reason to eat there anyway as good quality restaurants are within a 5 minute walk.

Lovely professional welcome. Staff very polite. Location ideally located between central and Leidsplein / Rembrandtplein. Maybe a little too formal- more suited to business, but I'm not complaining.

The hotel is easy to get too, however if you're driving finding parking can be a bit tricky. The room was neat looking.. did not have your traditional hotel room feel. It was small, but really its just a place to sleep anyway. When we got there our room was not that clean, but the next day we had a good cleaner so it was a bit better. The hotel is on a really quiet street, but just a short walk to the downtown area. If you're not looking for anything fancy, this is a great place to stay. Service is also very minimal here.. do not expect help with your luggage!
