Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Brussels - بروكسل

Hotel is very nice. Even by US standard, it is a very nice hotel - not 5 stars, but I would rate it at least 4. It is within 5 minute walking distance to Grand Place where there are all kinds of chocolate shops, cafes and restaurants. It is also close to several major subway stations. If you want to explore Brussels this is a good central place to stay.

Hotel staff gave a great service. We got the room 4 hours before reservation scheduled. I have nothing bad to say - go book this hotel for your next trip to Brussels!

Stayed at this hotel for a Saurday night. Hotel is located close to main shopping area and a 5 minute walk from nearest metro station, that said we used the metro from the midi railway station having arrived by eurostar and it was horrendous, overcrowded and very difficult to get a ticket in the first place. Hotel check in was ok we had a buisness class room which was well presented but smelt strongly of cleaning chemicals when we first entered. The atrium of the Blu Royal is the real wow factour one of the best I have seen although we used the afternoon cafe on the ground floor for a quick snack and glass of wine, food was good service poor you felt like everything was too much effort. Our night in the hotel was ruined by the bed which has a plastic type matress cover fitted which made a loud scrunching noise everytime you moved I have never experienced this in any of the hotels I have visited worldwide before and along with the overly hot air con (even on the lowest setting) it made for a sleepless night. We used the breakfast restaurant the next morning at 1030 which in fairness was probably rush hour but the experience was terrible, overcrowded it felt more like a canteen. On leaving, reception was very busy and there was no enquiry as to the enjoyment of our stay. In summary a hotel which boasts a 5 star atrium but 3 star service and 1 star beds I will not be returning to this hotel or Brussels again which I found underwhelming, back to Bruges next time which has better character.

Nice hotel but full of people spending other peoples money - its a chain hotel and felt a little soulless to me. There are nicer, friendlier hotels nearby where we have stayed before and certainly cheaper. So, no complaints, however nothing to shout about either.

We had a weekend break and found the hotel to be excellent, the staff friendly and helpful and the location to be within close walking distance to transport and many of the sights. Happy to recommend to everyone.

Great stay at this hotel. Didn't eat here so can't comment on the food but the concierge could recommend good restaurants. We went to the Belga Queen just down the road from the hotel which was lovely. Hotel staff were very helpful. The room was good with a nice big bed. One thing I would say is to take your own hair dryer as the one provided in the bathroom is fairly useless. Good location as within walking distance to the major sights but not right in the middle of everything. Our room faced out to the atrium of the hotel. I would have prefereed a room with an outside window but that's just a personal choice. I didn request one before we arrived but unfortunately this was not possible. All in all a good stay here and I would go back again.

We made our reservation thinking that we would spend our last two nights in a 5 star hotel but were disappointed that this hotel did not meet my expectations of 5 star. The hotel staff were very friendly in helping us find a room, the first one smelled of smoke (and the hotel is non-smoking), the second room door stuck and had an interior view into the lobby, finally we settled on our third room. The location was great and had I known I was staying as a business hotel, I would not have been disappointed...I just expected more of a luxery hotel. All in all, it was a good value for the money. We did get charged for an extra bed at checkout, even though our reservation indicated it was included in our rate. I contacted hotels.com and they contacted the hotel and had the charge corrected.

I stayed for 11 nights for business, and found the hotel staff to be consistently helpful and friendly. The business class rooms are very clean and modern, and it is useful to have the access to the communcal business area for soft drinks and computer use, aswell as somewhere else to sit rather than your hotel room. The location os great - very near Grand Place, but far enough away for quiet and avoiding all the tourists. Would defintely recommend this hotel, and would stay there again when in Brussels.

hotel is a bit dated, but right down the street from shopping. grand palace is close as well. private parking garage is a plus, park your car and leave it in the garage as driving is a nightmare in the city. down the street from the hotel is a amazing place to eat called hemispheres- do it!!! you will not be sorry! pros of staying here?- very friendly and knowledgeable staff willing to help you however possible- cons?- 30 euro breakfast?! pass! instant coffee in room... if you want good coffee you have to get up early and get it from the lobby and the biggest kicker- the hairdyer in the bathroom. ladies- bring your own! the thing is ancient and barely will get your hair dry. its attached to the wall and doesn't even look like a hairdyer. if you are from the US- bring your own, the room has a plug in the lamp by the desk. it will save you a ton of frustration especially with as rainy and cold and it was during our stay in brussels. like i said before, staff is super friendly and hotel is in a good location. rooms standard for those in europe and they are clean. :)

It was lovely. Only problem we had was not being able to turn our water kettle on! Not sure if it was us or the kettle. Otherwise, everything was terrific and the staff was great.

nice place to stay to visit the city. internet connection problems in a business room is not nice... but the service was nice...

I was looking for a 5-star hotel close to Grand Place and Central Station. My expectations were exceeded in this 1st class business hotel with it’s spacious rooms, king-size bed and superb rain-shower. The black-out curtains and extra power outlets were a nice touch in a super quiet room. My package included breakfast (30 euros if not included) along with free internet. My room faced onto a beautiful open courtyard. The staff and food were very good. Another excellent bonus was being minutes away from main attractions on a very quiet street.

The room I stayed in was so new it smelt of new carpets! However, it was great as it felt very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and the general ambience at the hotel was great.

The atrium on the Radison Blu is very impressive and a lovely place to be. The location was excellent, just around the corner from the Grand Place and lots of restaurants.

The lobby area is very nice but my room was very disappointing. It was very shabby for a 5 star hotel. Also, there were hairs all over the bathroom - it had not been cleaned properly. The rooms are badly in need of refurbishment and were more like what I would have expected from a 2 star hotel. Definitely not worth the price I paid. Location was good though.

Very good hotel which is a two hundred metres from the Grande Place and within easy walking distance to the other attractions in central Brussels. Only one small criticism - breakfast was a bit chaotic on both Saturday and Sunday - too many people in the room and the service was sparse and forgetfull - but don't let that put you off.

This hotel is centrally located in downtown Brussels. It's easily within walking distance of the main Metro Station, great shopping, restaurants, etc. It's a totally safe area. The hotel itself is in pretty good condition. Our only complaint was that the front desk staff, concierge, etc. were not well versed in the area. They were not able to offer viable information on restaurants, attractions, etc.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Brussels. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions of recommendable restaurants and sights. The hotel was nice and quiet - apart from the fact that the restaurant was being rebuilt. Fortunately, that only made noise for an hour or two each day, so it was okay. The parking facilities were great and convenient again. Walking distance to tour busses, the most important sights and a lot of good restaurants. Situated in a more quiet street, which is very nice so you can get away from the touristy atmosphere of the surrounding streets.

Not worth it. Hotel not nice. Room not clean. AC didn't work. Complaints to front desk yeilded no response. Location good.

First time visiting Brussels and wanted a top class hotel in central city location and was delighted with fantastic central location but this hotel and certainly our room was definately not 5 star!! Our room was small, bathroom was old and basic (although clean), wall paper was beginning to peel from ceiling to wall in bedroom. Carpets in the hallway from lifts leading to bedroom on 6th floor were stained. I have stayed in far, far superior 3 and 4 star hotels. I had really been looking forward to ultra comfort and luxurious surroundings which one would expect of a 5 star establishment, the Radisson Blu Royal, in my opinion, did not deliver.

Great location and service. Would highly recommend.

My partner & I came to Brussels on a weekend break. I chose this hotel as it had a promotional rate, and it was a great choice. It was easy to access from public transport, a short walk away from the old city sights, and had a lot of restaurant and bar options nearby. The hotel was lovely and a perfect base for our stay.

Radisson Blu is a great hotel with a very efficient and kind staff. I loved my stay here. The breakfast buffet was not included in the rate and we purchased it separately. It was extremely overpriced. I would stay here again, but not purchase breakfast.

This hotel was in a great location, just 2 minutes walk from the Metro station and a bus stop just around the corner. The hotel itself was lovely, the staff were great too. The hotel was well maintained and was easy walking distance to most of the sights in Brussels. Best location possible!

The air condition does not work properly (25°C is too warm for me!) and they are not willing to do anything about it. Breakfast costs 30 € which is for a hotel of this poor level over the top. I have no clue wher they got the stars from.

hotel au centre, facile d'accès en voiture + parking souterrain. Bel atrium. Petit déj. correct. Staff sympa.

Bor alltid på dette hotellet når jeg er i Brussels. Kjempefin service og god frokost.

8-1-2012 Kamers aan binnenzijde van hotel zijn veel te benauwd. Airco werkt gewoonweg op geen enkele kamer... Bij 3 keer navraag bij receptie dat airco niet werkte kwam er iemand kijken, de manager regelde 'meteen' een grotere kamer op 3e verdieping met een kleiner bed. In de ochtend werden we wakker met een raar geluid uit de badkamer.... Toen bleek het toilet volgelopen te zijn met de uitwerpselen van een andere kamer/gast. Uiteraard gemeld bij de receptie en gelukkig kregen we direct een kamer op de 6e verdieping. Hier zijn de gerenoveerde kamers gesitueerd en zijn helemaal perfect! De temperatuur was toch ook hier veel te warm en niet regelbaar. Gelukkig konden we en kunnen we er nog steeds om lachen. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is naar onze ervaring niet top. Top: We kregen wel een gratis uitrijkaart voor de parkeergarage..

personeel zijn niet voorbereid op internationaal gasten. Engels is bijna niet mogelijk. als je geen frans spreekt ben je gedoemd, je wordt als ping pong bal doorgegeven aan andere collega. die misschien wel engels spreken.

駅からも観光地からも近く非常に便利でした。 部屋も綺麗でホテルも立派。朝食付きのプランで宿泊しましたがとてもリーズナブルなお値段で宿泊できて満足。 一つ不満があるとすればチェックイン時に対応できるスタッフが少なく疲れている中とても待たされた事。立派なホテルだっただけに残念でした。

Nous avions réservé deux chambres "business" le mēme jour. Surprise... La première très luxueuse, visiblement refaite de peu. 5/5! Et la seconde... Incroyable, située à 2 portes de distance, tout le contraire, déco années 70, moyennement entretenue avec des couleurs (rouges entre autres) très surprenantes en terme de déco! Déçu donc... Un conseil, demandez l'âge de votre chambre en réservant!!! Sinon, très bel hôtel avec un emplacement idéal; seul reproche d'ensemble l'isolation phonique des baies vitrées semble très sommaire.

Tudo no hotel é muito adequado, tivemos um up grade para uma suite sensacional. Pessoal muito educado, amáveis todo o tempo, localização bem próxima da principal área de Bruxelas. Café da manhã excelente e Internet funcionando às mil maravilhas o que não é normal nos hotéis. Nas redondezas do hote muitos restaurantes servindo Moules (mariscos) de todas as formas possíveis e imagináveis com fritas, frutos do mar, waffles e chocolate pra todo lado. Dá pra curtir bastante.

Efter lång väntan på ett bord i restaurangen så får jag fel rätt som innebär en oerhört lång väntan på den rätt jag beställt. På morgonen betalar jag 30 EURO!!!! för en frukost som är bra men om man betalar det beloppet så krävs det åtminstone att man får kaffet utan att man ska behöva nästan intill hämta det själv.

Un hotel con todas las comodidades a pesar de que para mi no es un 5 estrellas ni de lejos, pero por el precio que pagamos bastante bien. El buffet del desayuno tampoco es impresionante, pero la habitación era muy nueva y cómoda.
