Maritim Hotel Munich - ميونيخ

The hotel does not provide soap. And the soap that they do provide come out of a pump bottle that does not work. The rooms smells stale. And they only give you one face towel, one body towel and that is it. No shampoo, conditioner, and the soap pump doesn't work. Also the rooms are very small. This is not a 4 star hotel and I am not sure why they are giving themselves a 4 star.

This hotel was correctly priced for what it offers. it's location is very convenient: 2min from the central station from where you catch any public transportation to any destination. The room is very simple and could be more welcoming. Usual commodities such as shampoo are not offered. Furniture is also a little ancient. But overall, the staff is very nice and the hotel is clean which is one of the most important thing if you ask me. I recommend this hotel if you are on business trip or just need a nice place to stay at night.

The hotel looked after us very well and any request that was made was quickly dealt with. Swimming pool, sauna, steam room and other leisure facilities were clean and well maintained, fun swimming with views of Munich. Staff had excellent local knowlegde, food in restaurant was 1st class, a great weekend and I would recommend Hotel Maritim.

If you need cheap central location in the heart of Munich then this should more than suffice! In it's prime it was probably stunning hotel, but not sure they have invested in it over the years! Nice swimming pool and sauna facilities to relax in. Note when they say it has a gym there is a tiny room (cupboard) with a few machines in it! Not a great family location as it has some interesting shops next to it, as you would expect at a main railway station! But for a location to explore Munich for a weekend it is superb. Easy to get to the airport and all the sights. I was nicely surprised that I received free soft drinks in the room

Hotel was nice. Service staff friendly. Rate incredible. Very close to train station. Only complaint was the restaurant was very slow, small portions, and high prices.

thank you (staff) for making this new year's holiday vacation great. Everything went well, very friendly staff and understanding. however...nothing in this world is perfect, a few things i didnt like were simply minor things that i were dealt with on my own by improvising. The beds my fiancee and i were sleeping in were twin beds made into one, but during the night...the matresses began separating leaving a gap between them were i usually fell in...but no worries, we solved it by only using one matress. The other thing, i saw no thermostat for the heater, i saw one for the AC...so we simply snuggled more lol blessing in discuise lol But overall we really liked the hotel staff and everythign that came with my reservation. I would defenetly book there again in any upcoming trip to Munich. Thank you staff keep up the great work.

Very close to the train station - easy to get to hotel. Neighborhood was not great, but never felt in danger. Room was nice, comfortable, everything worked. Piano bar was nice, good atmosphere. Restaurant was upscale with higher prices, smaller portions, and slower service, although the food was very good.

Hotel is conveniently located. Just down the street from the main train station. Can't beat the breakfast.

Nothing particular to report, the hotel pretends being 4* but I would not rate more than 3. Bad neighborhood although not unsafe.

Stayed during Oktoberfest, so the location couldn't be beat. Pros - - Steps from the main train station; 15-20 minute walk to Oktoberfest; cheaper than a lot of alternatives; super nice staff; reasonably priced small breakfast option; good price on internet in the room. Cons - - Neighborhood isn't the greatest, but that's to be expected so close to the train station; air-conditioning was barely functioning; carpet in the room was a wreck after years of abuse; shower was low pressure and only really trickled water; room hopelessly outdated. Overall --> I would recommend this hotel if you're not looking for anything fancy and just need a place to lay your head.

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station and within a short distance of Oktoberfest. The bar service was substandard and the pool was weird/creepy. The front desk staff were very helpful and nice, although the price to mail a postcard was wildly variable dependent on whom you dealt with. We appreciated the air conditioning.

Although this hotel is only a block from the Hauptbanhof and the neighberhood is accordingly a little less than gentile, it is a short walk to Oktoberfest. That helps a lot after a couple mugs of beer. It is also within walking distance of downtown Munich, and the station has all of the tram and Ubahn connections anyone could need to get anywhere including the Sbahn to the airport. The hotel was quiet even though the partying was ongoing outside.

The staff at the hotel is extremely helpful and friendly. The location is awesome, especially for Oktoberfest! Our room was clean and comfortable.

central train station location makes easy access, but is not in the 'central' most touristic area. bit of red-light shops in area more a 3 star than a 4-star. That said, clean, comfortable bed, recessed from the street by an internal courtyard (good), chain of hotels (stable quality). As a single business traveller who needed train station access, it well suited the needs

This hotel is first class two stops from cental Munich with the U-Bahn less than a block away.

This is a comfortable hotel just two minutes walk from the station and five minutes from the main shopping area. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff helpful and pleasant. Although not in the best part of town the hotel is set back from the road and so quiet enough to have the window open at night. Overall a good option for an overnight stay in Munich.

Great hotel, very close and convenient to the train station. Excellent food in the restaurant as well as great service. Overall, this hotel gets top rating!

Great Location but I dont believe its 4 star and definitely doesnt warrant the hefty price

Good hotel but no free wifi better to find deal including beeakfest continental breakfest 9 € full free,breakfest 22 € thecheaper is enough

Rooms were old and the hotel lacked modern amenities like wifi. Continental breakfast was ridiculously overpriced, which seems to be the theme at the hotel. There are better hotels for less money, do yourself a favor and stay at one of them.

Good location close to train station and Airport bus stop. Very nice, helpful staff. Buffet breakfast is very good, but expensive.

I stayed only one night. For families with children I would concern about all sex clubs and sex shops in the neighbourhood. 4 min. walk from the Central Railway Station was great. The lobby area was like in most international hotels. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My single room had a big bed with room enough for 2 persons. May be it was a double room. Everything was nice and clean. No disturbing noises from the rooms next door or from the corridor. Walking distance to Theresienwiese (Oktoberfest area), pedestrian street and Marienplatz.. I did not visit the restaurant or the bar, but my overall impression of the hotel is very good. Guests will really get value for money.

I travel to Munich about twice per year for business and often stay at the Maritim because it is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and its location is just 200 meters away from the in-town subway (U-Bahn and S-Bahn) and the long distance trains to major cities. The area near the hotel has a few adult shops, but it not a dangerous area in any sense of the word. I have never felt uncomfortable about walking around the area at night alone. Plenty of food places are nearby and you can either walk or ride the subway two stops to Marienplatz, the city's central square. I would recommend the Maritm to anyone looking for a quality mid-level hotel that is priced competitively for the central Munich area.

The hotel was clean and well staffed. The staff were tremendously friendly and helpful and all seemed to speak English. While the setting of the hotel is neither romantic or atmospheric, it is well run and centrally located. From Goethestrasse it is possible to walk to all of the major museums and other sites of interest. It certainly won't be the greatest hotel experience of your life, but you'll be perfectly satisfied staying here, especially for the price.

Stayed in the Maritim hotel for three nights. Location is really good - situated across the road from the hautbahnhof so easy access to/from the airport/main train station. Didn't eat at the hotel restaurant as had heard this was expensive. There wasn't a lot to offer in terms of food (other than Burger King or kebab shops) in the area, but there is food stations in the train station and Marienplatz is 2 stops away on the underground which has a variety of options. Overall, a good choice in hotel, I would stay there again.

From the time we checked in to our departure the staff at the Maritim were both friendly and efficient. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. The only issue we had was that the service in the Bar was very slow despite only a few people being there. The breakfast was a expensive for what you got.

Hotel is conveniently located near Munich's main station with excellent links to trams, underground and trains. The hotel is set back from the street so is very quiet. Everything about the hotel was excellent: reception was efficient and happy to hold bags, room was clean and spacious and the pool and sauna facilities were good. I'd happily stay here again.

Hotel had a great location. Was only a 10min walk to the beer tents. Close to all other attractions Munich has to offer
