Harbour Rocks Hotel - روكس

This Hotel is under renovation and has no proper staircase to the upper floors they are gained by the fire stairs which are quite steep, due to the age of the bulding there is no public lift.

located one block from Circular Quay which is definitely an excellent location for your stay in Sidney. Close to many restaurants, ferries and rail transportation. Top marks to the staff at Harbour Rocks, a very help-full and friendly group, special mention to Abdallah for his extra effort and assistance.

The only good thing going for this hotel is the location and if you sleep on the street you've got the same benefit. The hotel had recently been refurbished. the muddy brown colour is the worst choice for the poor excuse box of a room. the next morning we asked to move rooms as our window was right above an extractor fan and sounded like a plane taking off all night. Our air con broke the second night and the windows didn't even shut never mind be double glazed which is quite important in the middle of Sydney. My advice would be pay a little more or walk that extra few minutes. Do not stop in this poor excuse of a hotel.

The location, very good, not a busy city street with lots of traffic, a nice place to stroll to and from. The friendly, polite and helpful staff made our stay a very good experience. Yes, our room was small but it had every concenience and it was very comfortable. It would be my first preference /choice for accommodation when next I go to Sydney.

First time I have stayed here and would go back. There are a few failings but irrelevant next to the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. If you want to be in the rocks this is ideal although you are close enough to the action to hear it at times. If you are able to purchase for less than one of the surrounding 4-5 start hotels you won't be disappointed.

Everything was good about this hotel excepting the restaurant. The food was poor quality and quantity, ours was a bit of a Faulty Towers experience.

Good location in the heart of the rocks..some staff a bit unsure about service...general feeling that they were counting the pennys...lacks a few facilities so should have some reciprocial arrangements..

not only was this an outstanding location in the rocks, it was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on in a hotel. I actually looked forward to coming back to our room each night to relax. It was very pleasant!

Good price for the great location. Rooms are a little small, but clean, modern & comfortable.

We stayed for 3 nights and loved the 'old building', central location, ease of walking in and out, reading area with 'take what you like' books and guides. The room was comfortable and clean. Wednesday night is garbage/rubbish collection and there was much noise (in the back alley) of trucks and breaking bottles and dragging carts etc. The internet usage costs a fortune but across the street is a supermarket with an internet bar that costs 2.00 for 20 minutes and seemed more cost effective. All in all, we were glad that we'd stayed at the Harbour Rocks.
