Handy access to Kelowna / Vernon corridor

Our main light was out in the room and when phoned about it they told us to pick up a light bulb and screw it in ourselves. We couldn"t reach it without a proper cahir or ladder....Also we couldn't get the temperature in the room to a livable degree. Will not go back..

Staff was friendly. Knew all the places we needed to go. Room,lobby and hot tub was clean.

Overall very satisfied The exception was the smoker outside by the room although this is not hotels fault it needs to be addressed. the room was comfortable and clean. I would stay here again.

this hotel is very convienientlylocated. only complaint is coffee at breakfast is not good

Reasonable rates, included breakfast and free internet and free local calls. I would return next time.

This hotel was very reasonably priced and in a convenient location, for the town, Shopping Malls, loads of restaurants, lake front, Big White ski resort and not far from Penticton and Vernon. The room was cleaned to a very high standard daily; the staff at the reception desk were more than helpful for local information. The continental breakfast was well stocked but as we stayed for two weeks became slightly repetitive. I would certainly recommend this hotel and as our daughter is now living in Kelowna we shall certainly use it again when we visit.

Heating system was not on a thermostat , very hard to control, either too hot or too cool. Room was small , tow beds with one stuck right against the heating and cooling unit., the other right against the wall. Staff were nice and breakfast was okay.

my stay at this hotel was fine , no restaurant but close to many and order in options available. the wi fi was sporadic at times but but not troublesome the only negative i have is the trouble getting onto the west bound of Harvey ave., main road . the staff here are fantastic and very helpful. . needed affordable close place to stay near Hospital and this fit the bill perfectly.

Clean rooms, well kept parking lot, okay continental breakfast, friendly staff, good shower.

I would describe this as a low class hotel

We arrived late and left early. Pet friendly only there only ashphalt - no where to curb the dog on the property. Other than that, a satisfactory stay.

Service - basic Room - basic Breakfast - basic You only get what you pay for (mostly).

had to get a new room right away, the first room wasnt cleaned up, garbage still in cans, dirty bathroom rug on the floor, bed was.... super uncomfortable. and not much for breaky. Just kinda thought there would be more, thats all. Tight rooms.

Clean but with noisy air conditioning unit. Beds very comfortable. Room rate very good. Need vehicle to get to any restaurants. We used this motel only to sleep as we were busy elsewhere for the duration of our stay. It is a typical Days Inn

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean however the supplied toiletries were rather poor quality. Breakfast area was clean but very small, made eating breakfast sitting down something of a challenge.

The exterior of this hotel may look nice but don't be fooled. The hotel is very old and in poor condition. The walls are paper thin and the headboards would rattle anytime a door was opened in the hall. The carpeting needs to be replaced and when we arrived at the room, we thought the maids had forgotten to put blankets on the bed - it turned out that the blankets were as thin as the sheets. This was okay, though, as the air conditioner wasn't working. I would never stay there again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

This hotel didn't have many bells and whistles but it was VERY clean, excellent service, the room was basic but it was comfy. The only two tiny things are that the pool wasn't heated so even though it was a 30 degree day the pool was too cold to swim in. Also the location is far from the trendy watefront/dt area but we had a car so it was no problem. If you don't have a car might not be the best choice. Would definitely stay here again we had zero problems and it's pet friendly!

our room had mold in the shower, hair dryer and coffee pot did not work. Beds were uncomfortable and the pool was freezing cold. Hot tub looked like it hadn't been cleaned all summer. Also by the pool it was so noisy as traffic raced by constantly. Will not stay again.

The inside of the shower curtain in our room was full of mildew to the point that we had to insure that we did not come in contact with it while showering. We felt uncomfortable showering under such unsanitary conditions. Also, the boiled eggs were stone cold and rotten (sour). Other tenants said the same thing. I mentioned it to the attendent (first day on job) that he may want to remove the eggs so no one would get sick and he would not even smell it exclaiming "I do not eat eggs". He did say he would report it to his Mgr.

Was digusted with the mold in the shower Brutal !

Upon arrival I found the young lady at the desk most helpful and friendly, assisting me in finding a ride to the airport next morning. I was disappointed to discover that hotel did not offer a rate discount for BCAA members or seniors.

Checked in as planned. No Wireless Access in room, Staff on Front Desk was rude and kept Front Desk phone on DND all night Room was dirty, human hair on shower walls, strange odor in room. Pool was full of dirt and ??? Spa was full of what appeared to be s___n....YUK!!!!! Spa tempreture was no more than 100 degrees also. Located in north side of town in what appeared to Drug Addict area saw several homeless people wandering around in area. After first night I went to front desk and demanded a room change they put us in the Executive Suite with 1 Queen size bed and a pull-out I slept for the next 2 nights on a pull-out cot. The shower had hair on the walls.... my wife half jokingly accused me of having another woman in the room, The room was much larger but no better than the first one. I will never stay here again, and am suprised at the rating on hotels.com that they have received. I have been a business Traveller for over 35 years and this ranks right up there with the worst places I have ever stayed at! I travel for pleasure 2 or 3 times per year and I would definately have moved if it was me paying the bill but my company paid in advance for the room ad I would not have been able to cover it on my Expenses.

We stayed at the Days Inn in Kelowna and it was the worst place i have ever stayed at, when we walked in the carpets were dirty, there was some white smears of paint on the carpet, the walls were dirty, had finger prints all over, the bathroom floor was sticky and dirty, the tub was dirty and there was also mold on the tiles, cobwebs around the air conditioner, around the sink was dirty, in the breakfast area there was a wasp and some flies flying around the juice machine drinking from the outlet.

I stayed here on my way back from Seattle. The front desk clerk was too busy checking something on her computer to give anyone any real help. She didn't give us directions to our room and when another customer asked about restaurants she told them about just one that was a 10 minute walk away. The hallway to our room was really hot and the air conditioner in our room was very loud. When we inquired about these issues and any possible solutions the same lady at the front desk just said "that's just the way it is." Well, I just won't stay at this hotel again.

Quick two night stay to se the sites and the Canadian Tenors...wanted cheap and easy and that is what we got. Price was excellent for a queen suite, everything could have been a little cleaner but overall it was very good. You get what you pay for, basic hotel with basic amenities but I would not hesitate to stay again, and will. And would not hesitate to recommend it if cheap and convenient is what you are looking for!!

Looking at the picture online, the hotel looks awsome, clean, and higher in class. However, once you get there, its a different story. It looked old, although it wasn't as nice and clean looking as on the pictures, it wasn't as dirty as other places could be. So, all in all, do not expect to see what is on the picture when you arrive!

located in the industrial area, no restaurants located within the area. Very Noisy building, could hear everything going on outside & in other rooms. Our room did not have a working coffee machine and didn't have a plug for the bath tub. would not stay here again.

The hotel's location is a little bit strange, and to get to the hotel from the highway, you may end up having to side track on some back roads to get there. The hotel is fairly nice, but it's important to note, that it is some rooms are accessed from the inside, and some are accessed from outside. If you have a strong preference for one or another, this may be important. I did not realize this about the rooms, and ended up getting an outside access room, which was a little bit unnerving, and our room was right by the courtyard, which was fairly busy and noisy due to being a long weekend. The continental breakfast was very simple and nothing to really get excited about, but was useful, and helped to avoid having to make other arrangements, so it was nice. The pool is outside, and was absolutely freezing when we were there, despite being a very hot summer day. I can only imagine what the pool would be like in the fall, or even just a cooler summer day. A much warmer temperature control would be nice.

Location very convenience. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast has number of choices. Staff frequent refill the food and drink. Room is spacious for five of us. Will come back again next time.

I recently stayed at the Day's Inn Kelowna and was anticipating an average hotel experience. I planned on using my laptop to catch up on some work emails (the website for this place syas wireless internet avaliable) only to find that I kept losing the connection every five min and then coundn't get it connect for min at a time. I was told they are working on this , but how can you say you offer wireless when you can't stay connected for longer then five min??? Then I decided to watch some T.V , the remote seemed to not work so I went to the lobby to ask for new batteries , that didn;t seem to be the problem.......it wasn't working so I couldn't even really watch T.V! Then i heard the neighbours arriving and all I heard was the doors being smacked and ppl talking......the walls are very thin. The fridge in the room was also very noisy and made it difficult for me to sleep. Overall I was very disapointed and would not ever stay here again!

An average motel. The room while clean was worn. Being a garden unit just means that the walkway to all the units in the courtyard passes between you and the garden. Not the normal meaning of the phrase. The bed was in a separate room and this meant the room was small. Not the best layout as you had to leave the bedroom to get to the onsuite. Breafeast was continental and while it ticked the boxes was a bit slap dash. That is tables were left with rubbish, spills were left during our breakfeast. I was suprised being 3 units from the front that the highway noise was good. In the bottom half of motels but could be in the top.

Motel of horrors. Do not stay here. It is filthy. We went to eat breakfast in the dining room (continental breakfast provided type of deal). Well, a staff member swept the floor then using the same broom swept the top of the table in front of us. right in front of us. If that's what he was doing in front of people who knows what he was doing when no one was watching. There were also used plates amongst the new plates to be used again by the next person. The shared microwave looked like it had never been cleaned. The whole place was digusting. I told off the guy who was 'cleaning' and he didn't care. I complained to the manager who only offered $5 off another night stay, I'm never going back there! and $5 doesn't cut it, that doesn't make up for anything. Even after I complained the dining room was still dirty. The neighbourhood was also dangerous. There was a shoot out a couple of blocks away. The road was closed and became a crime scene. My friend couldn't close her motel door on her way out and ran late for her own wedding. I could go on. Point is this motel is bad and I'm reporting it to the better business bureau. There are many motels in Kelowna so you don't need to go here. keep looking.

We chose the Days Inn because we were attending a Wedding in Oyama and this facility was strategically positioned between my ssiter's house in Kelowna and the Wedding site in Oyama. The accomodations included a Continental Breakfast and an outdoor Pool, with in room coffee service and a refrigerator. The two Qeen size beds were comfortable and the linen was perfect for the weather. The price was fair for the accomodations provided, and the staff were professional and warm towards the customers. The Days Inn was strategically placed between the park, the Church, the main shopping areas and the waterfront with Ogopogo. We got to do it all and return to the motel again and again. it was amazing .

there was no space to park at the entrance to our room.I asked at the desk and was told they didn't concern themselves with parking there should be room at the back of the lot.We had made our reservation and prepaid several months ahead needless to say we where annoyed.

We found the hotel excellent value, close to restaurants,easy to find and very helpful staff.Ideal for a stopover Continental breakfast was included (which is a bonus in USA & Canada) meant we could get straight on with onward journey without having to find a meal first.Would deffinately recommend to others.
